Chapter 5

For the first time in three weeks, Naruto skipped school.

He knew that Momo would have his head tomorrow, but frankly the blond didn't care.

No, he's not at his usual Internet Café. Naruto was in no mood for gaming or even LP grinding. He just couldn't sit tight in his classroom after he had found out that there was a group of psycho stray exorcists out there killing innocent people just because they made a contract with devils to help them with their daily life.

Rias said even if they were stray exorcists, there weren't many of them that were as crazy as Freed so he didn't need to worry about it too much. However, with someone like Asia with them, there were no doubt that Freed had gotten back on his feet, so even though Rias and Akeno had sent out their familiars, Naruto still decided to skip school to go to a number of his clients' house and make sure that they were alright.

Naruto was about to go to the next house when suddenly he saw a very familiar figure approaching a local restaurant near the rooftop he was standing on.

Smiling in relief, Naruto then jumped down and landed behind her. Since he was still nowhere near as skilled as Kiba, his landing was rather violent and made a loud noise, making Asia flinch and turn around to look at him, a surprised look on her face before it was turned into a smile of relief like his.

"Naruto-san…"

"Hey there, Asia."

"…Auu." Asia looked at the menu in her hand in confusion as she didn't know what to order. The blonde had never seen or heard about such foods like those before in her life. Naruto was sitting across from her with a smile on his face, patiently waiting for the nun to make the choice.

"W-What would you like to order…?" The employee asked nervously. It was quite clear that she was new and didn't quite know how to handle the current situation. Naruto could only smile at her while making a gesture for her to wait. He quite couldn't believe that Asia had never come to a restaurant like this before and because of it she was having a hard time. Even a normal person should know how to order a meal.

Naruto had offered his help, but she only replied proudly.

"It's fine, I will manage it somehow". And so, she kept wondering what to choose and the fact that she didn't know how to speak Japanese seem to make things even more difficult for her.

"She will have the same order as me." Finally, the blond had had enough and decided to order the same meal for Asia. It's too bad that the restaurant they were in didn't serve ramen or else he would have gotten the chance to introduce the food to her.

"Okay." The employee smiled and wrote down his order before she walked away.

"Auu, I'm ashamed. I can't even buy a single hamburger by myself…" Asia muttered with a down expression.

"Don't worry, Asia." Naruto grinned, making Asia look at him in confusion. "All you need to do is improve your Japanese and then you can order whatever you want."

"Right." Asia nodded her head rapidly at that. After that, it didn't take it long for their orders to arrive and Naruto wasted no time to dig in, as he had not eaten anything but a slice of bread since morning.

After the first bite, Naruto was about to go for another one but stopped when he noticed Asia wasn't eating her hamburger at all, but rather, she was taking a very good look between it and him with a thoughtful expression.

"Here…" Naruto said as he put his burger down. He could tell that Asia just didn't know how to eat her food. Reaching forward, the blond then picked up her burger and started unwrapping the cover for her, revealing the delicious looking contents inside "You can eat it after taking the wrap off like this. No need for a spoon or anything, just use your hands."

"T-There's actually a way to eat like that!? A-Amazing!" Naruto nodded his head as Asia gently took the burger from him.

"Try it."

"Y-Yes." Asia nodded her head and took a small bite of the burger, chewing and tasting it very carefully before saying with a bright expression on her face "D-Delicious! This burger is very delicious!"

"I am glad that you like it" Naruto grinned at Asia, whose eyes were shining with excitement before asking "You never had a burger before?"

Asia shook her head and then answered him "No. I have seen it often on television but this is my first time eating it. I'm moved! It's delicious!"

"Okay, so what do you normally eat?"

"Mainly bread and soup. I also eat vegetables and pasta food."

"Sounds too healthy..." Naruto chuckled while nodding his head. He himself had never been a fan of vegetables of any types, and hated them the most whenever he had to eat them with ramen "Then eat that burger carefully so you remember the taste, okay?"

"Yes. I will eat it with joy."

And with that, Asia started eating it with a delight expression on her face. The two then began to talk a little, with Naruto being the one who asked the questions and Asia answering them truthfully, not that she seemed capable of lying. Naruto was relieved to find that the exorcists and Fallen Angels didn't do anything to her to become friends with a devil like him.

However, Asia still had had to use her Sacred Gear to heal Freed. It appeared that Asia's healing power was powerful enough to heal all the bullet wounds and the damages Yuumi had done on him. All the bullets Naruto had fired at him with Samira's Blaze revolver had all gone through his body, so there had been no operation needed to remove them.

However, when he had asked why she was out there, Asia said she had time off but he couldn't just shake off the feeling that she was running away from something. After that, she became a bit depressed so Naruto decided to think of a way to cheer her up.

There was only one decision that he could come to.

"Asia."

"Y-Yes."

"Have you ever played a game on a PC… I mean on a computer before?"

Asia tilted her head to the side cutely for a moment in confusion before answering: "I… I have never tried, but an abbess has taught me how to use a laptop before. Why do you ask?"

"I have decided." Naruto declared with a huge grin on his face "Today we should forget about everything. Let's go out and have fun."

"Eh?" The nun looked surprised.

"Let's go to my favorite Internet Café."

"Wahhh… everything looks so amazing here!" Asia said in amazement as he walked into the Internet Café with Naruto, who then headed over to the host table to create a user account for her. "There are so many computers here."

"Best internet café in town. You won't find any place better." Naruto said as he walked back to Asia and smiled at her before making a gesture with his head "come on, let's find two PCs next to each other."

With that, Naruto led the blonde nun further into the café. Since it was still school time and everyone but Naruto was still at school, there weren't too many customers, so his usual seats were still available.

"Sit here Asia." Naruto grinned as he pulled the chair back for Asia like a gentleman, before leaning forward to type the user account to unlock the PC for her. In quick succession, he turned on the League's client and used an old account of his for her to play before using the next few minutes to explain to her how the game worked. The blonde looked confused for the majority of his explanation, but she listened very closely with a very serious expression on her face.

"Ah… I think I get it." Asia said finally with her head tilting to the side.

"Let's do it then. Do you want to try playing Yuumi?" Naruto asked and opened the shop to show her the Magical Cat.

"Wahh… it really is her. She's so cute." Asia cooed at the splash art of Yuumi and her book. "Your power is so amazing, Naruto-san… to be able to bring her to this world… it's as if you have the power of God himself."

"Ah well, I don't think I can do the same thing as the almighty but…" Naruto blushed at that and purchased Yuumi for Asia before heading into a custom vs bots game to show Asia how to play her. Yuumi had one of the easiest and most simple gameplay of the game, so she shouldn't be too much of a problem for a beginner like Asia.

"I see I see…" Asia nodded her head as she clicked her mouth around and guided Yuumi's Q, Prowling Projectile.

"You gotta remember that you can only guide it like a homing missile when you attach her to an ally. The arrow will fly in a straight line if you are outside." Naruto explained "And Yuumi won't be able to attach to an ally if she gets hit by crowd control effects, negative statuses like stun or knock airborne."

"I think I get it Naruto-san." The girl nodded her head.

"Just follow my instruction in the game and we will be good." The blond grinned as he created a duo queue rank lobby with Asia "Let's go!" He cheered. This had to be his first time duo queuing up with anyone, let alone a cute girl like Asia. Sure she would have problem playing and he might lose a ton of LP, but he knew it would be worth it.

"Click accept!" He then started instructing. "Okay, so you are first pick. Great! Let's band Thresh and Leona, those two Yuumi hates the most." And with that, the two went on into their first game together, with Asia playing Yuumi and him playing Lucian against the enemy botlaners, Lux and Ezreal.

"Heal heal! Asia! Press E!"

"Auu…"

"Activate her R and we win this

"So I detach and hit the enemy champion to gain a shield?"

"That's right, but you gotta be careful not to get hit by them." Naruto nodded and trailed behind Asia so that he could assist her if she got hit by Lux's light binding but in the end she didn't and as soon as she had gotten the shield, she used W – You and Me to fly back to Naruto "Damn, you are a natural Asia!" He grinned, giving her a thumb up.

"T-Thank you, Naruto-san!" Asia smiled radiantly at him, and before long, the two began to draw the attention of every customer in the café as a sign of two foreigners, one of them was a cute girl no less, playing League was a very rare sight. Even the owner himself went over to watch their games, cheering for him whenever he got a kill and giving Asia tips to properly support a 'hardstuck bronzie' like Naruto with Yuumi and build her champion whenever she recalled and went back to base to regen and buy new items.

Before everyone knew it, Naruto and Asia were in the fifth and final game of his Silver promote.

"Okay, calm the fuck down Uzumaki!" A second year male from a local school said as he hit the blond squarely on the back of his head, but Naruto didn't even react to it. He was shaking, and sweating nervously, even though he had been put in this situation more than a hundred times for the past eleven year.

"Yeah dude, you can't let the girl carry you! Gotta show her how a man plays his game." Another said as he grabbed his shoulder. "Yo! Don't build Kraken Slayer this game! Zed will one-shot you with just one Q and E. Go Immortal shieldbow or Galeforce."

"No backseat gaming, let Naruto concentrate." The owner roared. "C'mon kid, you can do it and remember Plated Steelcaps is always an option."

"You're no better than us, Iruka-san!" they all said, making the owner sweat drop before the whole café fell into silence.

"Holy shit, I can't dude! This is worse than a horror movie!" A student said to his friend as Naruto's whole team was wiped out, making them lose the Baron. The current kill scoreboard was 32 – 45 in favor of the enemy blue team. Red team was down 3 towers, but they had three drakes and an incoming Inferno Soul if they could secure the last dragon. Naruto had a KDA of 10/5/12 as Kaisa while Asia, who was playing Seraphine because Yuumi had been banned, had tears in her eyes. She didn't fully understand the game yet, but she could tell how important it was by feeling the tension and pressure from everyone around her and it made her extremely nervous. Her KDA wasn't making her feel any better also, as she had died a total of 12 times and only 10 assists.

"If Asia-chan can hit a five man R, and his team can secure the final inferno drake then they should win, right?"

It all came down to a fight in the dragon pit, with minions in top and mid pushing for the red team. Asia was spasming her abilities so that she could use her empowered W - Surround Sound to shield and heal Naruto's Kaisa and her teammates as the enemy Jayce continuously poked them down with his shock blasts.

As the inferno drake was initiated by the enemy jungler, Lee Sin, and was hammered down by the rest of his team at a rapid pace. Naruto waited patiently for the dragon's health to drop below 1000, and fired a Void Seeker blast into the pit at the same time his jungler, Jarvan IV, went in with a combo of Demacian Standard and Dragon Strike. The two junglers smite the dragon almost at the same time, but it was Naruto's ability that secured the dragon, causing the whole Internet Café to explode into cheers and roars of excitement…

Asia, seeing her chance, launched Seraphine's ultimate ability at the enemy team, Encore, which then travelled through all five of them and dealt massive damage with the Inferno Soul explosion. However, it was the charm status that came with it that allowed Jarvan IV to dunk on all five of them with his R – Cataclysm, locking them all in a circle of impassable terrain, allowing Naruto, with his Kaisa R - Killer Instinct to dash to the side and rained auto attacks down the enemy team, hitting multiple targets at the same time with Runaan's Hurricane and Kaisa's Icathian Rain. One after another, the enemy team fell with Zed managing to get away, but Naruto sniped him down with a max range Void Seeker blast, acing the red team.

"YEAAAAHHHH!" The whole café roared in excitement "End the game! End the game! End the game!" They chanted as the blue team charged into the Red team's base and destroyed one turret after the other before going for the nexus. Once it had exploded and the victory sign had been shown on Naruto and Asia's screens, the whole Internet café cheered once again.

"History in the making!"

"Guess we can't call him Bronze I gatekeeper now, can we?"

"We won?" Naruto asked, more to himself than to anyone as several hands grabbed onto his shoulders "I'm silver now…" Before he could even do anything, the blond was removed from his chair and tossed into the air by a group of fellow high school students.

Asia, who removed her headphones and put it down gently on the table, had a smile on her face as she turned and looked at Naruto.

"Ah, we had a lot of fun today."

"Yes, we sure did."

After the wholesome celebration that Iruka, the café owner, had thrown for them, the two of them found themselves walking down the street together, enjoying each other's company with some ice cream. It was already getting dark. Naruto had had so much fun that he didn't notice the time. He just couldn't thank Asia enough for helping him with his promote. League of Legend had always been and would always be, a team game.

"So you really can summon Yuumi from the game?" Asia suddenly asked, a smile on her face.

"Not exactly from the game, but from my Sacred Gear. It's rather complicated but… yeah you get the idea." Naruto grinned as he explained it to Asia, who gasped lightly in surprise. Even he still didn't quite understand his Sacred Gear, that's all he could tell Asia "You have a Sacred too, aren't you Asia?" He couldn't help but ask.

"Yes Naruto-san, my Sacred Gear's name is Twilight Healing" she looked down at her hand "It had the power to heal the wound of every living being." Asia muttered the last part quietly but the blond could still hear her very clearly.

"That's quite amazing, Asia." Naruto said, before he noticed the sad look on Asia's face, and decided to ask her before he could stop himself "but why do you look so sad Asia? You have an awesome power to heal everyone, you should be happy." He told her but Asia put on a complicated expression. Soon after, a single drop of tear fells from her eyes as she looked at the ice cream in her hand, and soon more tears started flowing down her cheeks.

"Hey hey Asia it's alright." Naruto said quickly, feeling like an asshole for making Asia cry "I'm so sorry for asking question like that"

"N-no, it's alright Naruto-san" Asia shook her head as she raised a hand to wipe the tears at the corner of her eyes and then looked up at him with a soft smile. Feeling that she might have a story to tell him so she could pour her sadness out, Naruto took Asia to a local park and found a bench to sit down her, where she began to tell Naruto about a story about the girl who was once called the Holy Maiden.

In a certain region in Europe, there was a girl who was discarded by her parents. She was raised in a Church nearby by a nun along with other orphans.

The girl who was a strong follower of the Church awakened a special power at the age of 8.

She used her power to heal a wounded puppy and a person from the Catholic Church witnessed it by chance.

From there on, her life changed.

The girl was taken to the main Catholic Church and she was symbolized by many as a 'Holy Maiden' because of her healing power.

She used her power to heal many believers and they were told it was a power of divine protection, a power that was only meant for them.

Rumors brought rumors and she was respected as a 'Holy Maiden.

Even without her approval.

She had no dissatisfaction for how she was treated. People from the Church were kind and she didn't hate healing people. She was happy that her power could be of use. The girl was thankful to her power which was bestowed to her by God.

But she always felt a bit lonely. She didn't have any friends she could open up to. Everyone treated her nicely and was nice to her. But there were no one that were willing to become her friend.

She understood why. She knew that they were looking at her power as something irregular.

They didn't look at her as a human but as a creature, an instrument that could heal humans.

But one day, it changed. By coincidence, there was a Devil nearby and she healed him.

A wounded Devil and the girl, pure at heart, couldn't ignore him. She thought that even if it was a Devil, she had to heal them because he was injured. It was her kindness that made her take such an action.

But that one decision changed her life forever.

One of the people from the Church saw that incident and notified others.

The leaders of the Church were shocked about it.

"A power that can heal Devils!?"

"Something absurd like that cannot happen!"

"The power of healing can only heal the followers of God!" Yes, there were several people who had the power to heal, but the power to heal even Devils was out of the question. The people of the Church thought it was common sense that the power of healing doesn't work on Fallen Angels and Devils.

Apparently, a similar incident had happened in the past. The power to heal Fallen Angels and Devils that were not protected by God, but that was feared as the power of a Witch.

So the people saw her as a heretic.

"Damn witch that heals Devils!"

The girl who was respected as a Holy Maiden was then feared as a Witch and the Catholic Church turned their back on her.

She didn't have anywhere to go until an organization of "Stray Exorcists" picked her up. In other words, she had to get protection from the Fallen Angels.

But the girl never forgot to pray to God. She also never forgot to thank God, but even so, the girl was abandoned.

God didn't save her.

What shocked her the most was that there was not even a single person in the Church that was willing to defend her. In the end, there was no one who cared about her.

As Naruto listened to Asia's story, he had an expression of shock that then became anger. His hands balling into fists so hard that his nails was cutting into his flesh and drawing blood from it. Those people, how could they do that to a girl like Asia, who had done nothing wrong. She had only done what they all had taught her to, and that had been showing her kindness to others, even if it was a devil.

Naruto had never felt such anger in his life.

"-I think it's because I didn't pray enough. It's because I'm clumsy. I'm so stupid that I can't even eat a burger by myself, or know how to play my role properly in a game."

Asia wiped her eyes as more tears were falling down her eyes while laughing softly

"This is also a trial that the lord gave me. Since I'm a clumsy nun, the lord gave me this trial. So I have to endure it." Asia said, more to herself than to Naruto as she then looked up and stared at the sky above her "I'm sure I will make lots of friends one day. I have a dream. I want to go buy flowers with a friend, buying books and… playing games together and…"

Asia trailed off as she turned her eyes back to Naruto before her nose catching the familiar scent of blood, and looked further down to see it dripping down from his hands and gasped in shock "Naruto-san, your hands…"

Asia quickly took it and used her power, a green light appeared around it and the wound where his nails had caused slowly healed up.

"Asia, you want to make a lot of friends, don't you?" Naruto asked before smiling brightly "Would you like to become friends with me?"

Asia sat there, looking puzzled. "… Why? Why do you want to make friends with someone like me?"

"Why not? We talked right? We played League with each other all day, right? We had so much fun together? If that doesn't make us friends, what will?"

"…Is this a pact with a Devil?"

"It's not! Asia and I are going to become friends with each other! We will talk when we want to, we will play when we want to, and yeah I will also go shopping with you! Whether it's books or flowers, we will go shopping as much as you want! Okay?"

It was the first time he had ever said anything like that, so he didn't know if he was saying the right thing or not, still those were words that came from the bottom of his heart. If that was what he could do to help this girl, then he would gladly befriend Asia and protect her with his life, just like he would with any of his friends, his master.

Asia had both of her hands over her mouth and once again started to cry. Although this time, it wasn't the tears of sadness.

"But Naruto-san. I have no common sense."

"You can learn by living in this city! If you go around looking and talking to different people then you will know eventually."

"I can't speak Japanese. I also don't know about its culture."

"I will teach you! Leave it to me!" he said determinedly.

"I also don't know what to talk about with you."

"We can talk about League. I will teach you to play it fully later if you want, and then we can talk about the game all the time. There are so many interesting things about it, so we will never get bored of it." He grinned "So will you become my friend?" She nodded her head repeatedly "Then, let's get along from now on, Asia." Asia's face then broke out in a beautiful smile as she held tightly onto his hand, touched by his words. Everything was going to be alright now, she didn't care about that incident anymore, and she wouldn't care about how painful that past was.

All that she cared about was staying at Naruto's side, learning to and playing League with him… forever.

"I know someone who can cheer you up." Naruto grinned and held out his hand, with Asia's on top of his. He then channeled his power and in a flash, Yuumi The Magical Cat and her companion Book of Thresholds appeared on their hands.

"Meow~"

"Waahhh…" Asia said in amazement as she stared at the cute little cat with sparkling eyes, who looked up at her with a smile on her face while waving her tail around. Yuumi then jumped onto her shoulder and rubbed her gently against the crook of her neck as Book flew up and hovered behind them "She's so cute!" The former nun cooed, raising her hands up to stroke at the soft fur on Yuumi's little body.

"Yuumi will be your friend too, won't you?"

"Yes, we are going to be best friends forever." Yuumi nodded her head and said proudly before looking at her companion "Book will also be your friend too Asia! Nothing's gonna separated us!" The Book 'nodded' repeatedly at that, making Asia's eyes tear up.

"You see Asia?" Naruto smiled as he put a hand on the girl's head, rubbing her hair softly "You have three friends now. Making friends isn't as difficult as you think it is." The girl couldn't take it anymore and threw herself at him, wrapping her arms tightly around his neck as she leaned her head on his shoulder.

"Thank you, Naruto-san… Yuumi… Book…" Asia cried softly as Naruto returned her affection by wrapping his own hands around her, allowing The Magical Cat to nudge herself closer and join in with them "Thank you."

Naruto knew at that moment, one of his goal in life was to protect Asia and her dream.

"What a heartwarming scene… but no, it's impossible." There was a voice and instantly Naruto whirled around with Samira's revolver, Blaze, in his hand, having felt a presence behind the moment they said the first word. A black winged figure standing in the middle of the air lowered down before them with her arms crossed, and he instantly recognized her as the woman who killed him and his classmate Issei Hyoudou the night Rias revived him as her servant.

"Raynare-sama!" said Asia with a shocked look on her face.

"Hmm, we meet once again, Naruto-kun…" Started the Fallen Angel with a smirk on her face. "I thought that Devil would have just left you there to die that night, but it seems that she has quite the courteous heart, choosing to save you instead. It's too bad that you are a devil now." Raynare sighed as she shook her head at the blond man

Naruto narrowed his eyes at the woman and stood in front of Asia. "Heh, you said it like it's a bad thing." Naruto said as he pushed Asia back behind him.

"That made us enemies, you know." Raynare replied with a soft chuckle "And when an enemy is standing in the way between me and something I want, I will have no choice but to eliminate them." A light spear appeared in her hand as she then turned her attention over to Asia "Asia, it's time to go back. Come to me."

Asia held her hands to her chest as she spoke up from behind Naruto. "I will not go back with you. I will never work for you people again!"

Raynare shrugged as she let out another sigh. "I assumed as much. A kind and loving girl like you will never willingly work for something like us." She then turned her attention over to Naruto and asked him "Give me Asia, Naruto-kun. I don't want to kill you again but if you continue to stand in between me and my goal, I will have to force my hand."

"You know, I was told something similar continuously for the past eleven years." Naruto said, smirking as he summoned Yone's mortal steel katana in his other hand "So I am used to people threatening me with something far worse than death. If you want me to stay out of your way, then you will have to try better than that."

"So be it then." Raynare said and threw the light spear at Naruto, who pushed Asia to the side as he sidestepped to dodge. Yuumi instantly latched onto him and launched a prowling projectile at Raynare, who widened her eyes and tried to cancel it by throwing a light spear at it. However, the projectile changed direction as Yuumi willed it to, going around the light spear before slamming into Raynare and exploding, sending her back.

Naruto wasted no time to follow up with the attack, rushing toward the Fallen Angel girl with a knee thrust into her abdomen "Sorry Raynare-chan, but I am different than before." With that said, the blond thrust the pommel of the katana into her stomach, making her cough violently at the force behind it before he hit the side of her head with the silver revolver in his other hand, knocking her to the side.

"Shit." Raynare cursed as she flapped her wings and regained her balance in the air, summoning several spears in her hands to throw at Naruto, who had his gun up and ready to fire at her. But before he could pull the trigger, the blond felt a presence coming at him from the side, and raised his sword to block a light sword just before it could slash down on his head.

"YO! Shitty devil!"

It was none other than Freed.

"Yikes, it's the rat face guy again." Yuumi said in displeasure as she floated behind Naruto.

"Tell your cat to shut the fuck up before I blasted her head off!" Freed growled angrily as he tried to push Naruto down, only for the blond to turn around to kick him in the stomach before firing a round of bullets at him. The stray exorcist was better prepared this time and dodged all of it, even using his sword to parry two bullets with relative ease "Heh, same trick won't work on me twice."

"We will see about that when I try a bigger gun, freak." Naruto narrowed his eyes. He favored Samira's revolver over Jhin's because of its mobility and infinity ammo (as long as he still had demonic power), but of course Blaze paled in comparison when compared with other guns he could summon in term of firepower. More or less it was just a bit stronger than a normal gun, while Jhin's pistol had the power of anti-tank high caliber sniper rifle.

"Freed, what are you doing here?" Raynare asked but before the mentally unstable stray exorcist could answer her question, several more black winged figures appeared around them with men dressing in robes similar to Freed, making Naruto sweat nervously. They really had him outnumbered now "Kala."

"I have a feeling that this troublesome little devil who defeated Freed last time will show up, so we all came to your aid Raynare." The fallen angel named Kalawarner said. She was a tall and buxom woman with brown eyes and long, navy blue hair that obscured her right eye. Her attire consisted of a maroon, trench coat-like top with a wide collar, a matching miniskirt and black heeled shoes. The trench coat top was open at her chest, giving view to her breasts and cleavage. She also wore a gold necklace around her neck.

"Ah so my name is heard by the almighties, I feel flattered!" Naruto taunted before he jumped back to block a pink light spear, with Yuumi's shield protecting him from a blue one.

"Don't talk to us like we're at the same level, filthy low-class Devil" Said a blonde in a gothic Lolita dress, as she looked down at him from above as if she was looking at something very disgusting.

"Let's just kill him now and take the girl back." Dohnaseek, the fallen angel who had the appearance of a middle-aged-looking man with short black hair and dark blue eyes, said with a sense of finality as the other stray exorcists gathered around Naruto, who tried his best to remain calm. 1v1 he had no problem. 1v2 should not be a problem if he was careful enough, but 1v20 was a whole different story. He had never fought this many opponents before in his life, even in a game of League where he was fed.

"Yuumi, protect Asia." Naruto gave the instruction to his champion, making the Magical Cat and her companion look at him in surprise. "Don't let anything happen to her." Having watched too many action movies while waiting for matchmakings, Naruto knew the risk of having to fight to protect someone while being outnumbered by his enemies better than anyone. If he wanted to keep his head in the upcoming fight, then Asia needed to be protected first and foremost.

"Are you sure?" Yuumi asked, concern in her voice.

"Leave them to me." Naruto nodded his head as he steeled his nerves.

"Alright, give them hell Naruto!"

and with that, Yuumi and Book turned around and latched onto Asia, forming a shield barrier around her that knocked back all the stray exorcists who tried to sneak up and grab her. Asia looked at Naruto worriedly, her hands clutching in front of her chest in a form of prayer, praying that he would be alright.

Knowing that he couldn't just brute force his way through this many enemies and that he needed to fight smart, Naruto summoned a third weapon to form a combination that should help him in his current situation, in theory. It was a glowing capsule like device then appeared behind his back, worn like a sling bag with a belt across his left shoulder.

"And I quote…" Naruto began as he reached around and activated the device "It's not how much time you have, it's how you use it." Once the device had fully been activated, Naruto dashed forward with seemingly speed that shocked even the fallen angel, leaving behind a trail of bluish energy that was radiated from the machine behind his back.

"Wha… how is he so fast?!" Within a split second, the blond appeared in front of an exorcist, killing him instantly with a sword through his chest. It was the first life he had taken, but Naruto didn't have time to think about it as he moved onto the next since every second mattered, dodging and sidestepping repeatedly to avoid barrages of bullets that were fired at him from every direction. However, since there were just so many of them, Naruto had no choice but to take the least damage route, forcing himself to take a couple of bullets to the chest and thighs before he was able to stab his sword into a stray exorcist, and blast the one next to him in the face with the revolver.

"NOO!" Asia cried out in horror with her hands covering her mouth as she looked at all the blood on Naruto as he collapsed on one knee, feeling the bullets with holy power sear into his demonic flesh. Before she could run over to her friend to help him, however, Naruto slammed his hand into a large button on the device behind his back.

The world shattered around him and he was wrenched backward through swirling particles of time, standing where he had been three seconds ago without even a single bullet wound on his body.

"Holy shit, that feels weird." However, the blond didn't even have time to feel the excitement of using Ekko's Chronobreak for the first time, as the Fallen Angels, finally realizing how dangerous he was, decided to partake in the fight.

"It's the device on his back! Destroy it!" Dohnaseek cried out as he threw a spear at Naruto, forcing the blond to dash to the side before he suddenly disappeared and reappeared in front of him, slashing the male fallen angel in the chest, giving him just enough time to move his body back to avoid being cleaved in two with just a cut on his chest. Mittelt used that opportunity to attack him from behind, but Naruto rewinded himself back in present time again, appearing on the ground with his grenade in hand.

He tossed it in the air and made it explode, generating a dome of frozen time with him being the only one allowed to move freely. The blond dashed around, seemingly moving at godly speed from the exorcists' fields of vision, and cut them all down one by one. Because bullets moved extremely slow in the area of Parallel Convergence, Naruto didn't bother using his revolver, as he knocked the ones fired at him to the sides with his sword to make way for him to go for his next target.

Once Parallel Convergence ended, however, a gunshot was heard and Naruto looked behind him to see Ekko's Z-Drive engine shutting down. Freed, who had managed to leave the area before the time grenade exploded, was standing behind a tree, holding a smoking gun in his hand with a wide smirk on his face.

"Too easy to predict, you shitty devil." Naruto widened his eyes at that before he felt a heavy blow in his gut by the two fallen angels Raynare and Kalawarner, who flew at him and threw their holy enhanced fists into his stomach at the same time before punching him in the face. Asia let out a scream as the blond was sent flying backward and crashed into a fountain, breaking the top portion before falling down.

Asia looked terrified as she quickly ran over to Naruto and started to heal him as much as she could.

"Are you okay, Naruto-san?" asked the girl desperately as Yuumi went over to him and started healing him as well, accelerating his recovery even further.

Naruto grunted and coughed a mouthful of blood as he nodded and forced himself on his hands and knees. "Yeah… I can still fight!"

Raynare created another spear of holy light in her hands and said "Asia, if you want that devil friend of you to live then come back to be right now!"

"You do realize that I would rather die than letting you take her right?" Naruto growled as he glared at Raynare, her Fallen Angels companions and the surviving stray exorcists after that overwhelming assault of his. They had looked at him with different eyes now. There's no way that he could pull a trick like that again without a miracle.

A miracle…

No matter how he looked at it, he was outnumbered, outgunned, out everything. Even with Yuumi assisting him, it would still be extremely difficult for the two of them to fight against so many opponents…

If only he could even the odd…

… even the odd.

The blond suddenly remembered something that rias had told him during his training with her.

"Naruto-san, I…" Asia began with tears in her eyes, but Naruto instantly raised a hand to cover her mouth, stopping her before she could finish whatever she meant to say.

"No Asia." HE shook his head and said as the Fallen Angels and their followers approached them "It's not over yet. I will not let them take you away. I will protect you." He said and then snapped his head back to look at his enemies. Stabbing his sword onto the ground, the blond pushed himself up onto one knee and cried out, praying to whatever demon lords down in the Underworld that it would work "PROMOTION! BISHOP!"

Before Raynare and her companions even realized it, they were blasted back by a surge of demonic power, so powerful that they could see it with their own eyes. The demonic power became an aura that surrounded Naruto's whole body, coming off of his body in waves. The blond then put his hand on the ground and activated his power.

With this, he should have enough power to summon a powerful champion.

For a brief second, a small, smartphone like device appeared in his pocket but the blond didn't seem to notice it.

"Please let this work." Naruto prayed as he concentrated on the champion he wished to summon "COME!"

In a flash, a man with wild red haired appeared, dressed in a dark purple coat with wild dark fur trimming lining the hood, exposing his muscular torso, and white pants with brown boots. The most noticeable features about him, however, were a pair of metallic combat bracers that he wore around his arm, and the overwhelming presence of a fighter that he was radiating even as he stood there and did nothing.

Raynare and her companions stepped back nervously at the sight of the man, who merely stood there with a bored expression on his face as he cracked his neck around before turning his body around to look at Naruto and Asia, with Yuumi the Magical Cat at their side.

Just the sight of a cat standing on a hovering book alone was more than enough for The Boss to know which one was his summoner.

"Hmmm… so you are the summoner brat everyone has been talking about." The man said in a gruff tone. "You look like you have seen better day, even though you have that cat with you. Has anyone ever told you to never pick a fight you cannot win unless you are me?" He made a comment while gesturing his hand toward Yuumi, who hissed at his remark.

"Nice to meet you too Sett, still angry that I stopped you from going for my team last time?" The boss merely gave her the middle finger.

"Sett." Naruto nodded his head as he looked up at the red haired juggernaut.

"Beat it kid, I don't have time for a half ass summoner like you." Sett cut him off while waving his hand dismissively "Return me to my world. I have urgent business to take care of."

"Wha… but I need your help!" Naruto cried out in annoyance and frustration. "This is important, I can't let…" But before he could finish, Sett had reached down and grabbed the blond by the collar of his shirt and effortlessly hoisted him up into the air. A Stray exorcist took that chance to attack them, aiming for Sett back, but The Boss didn't even bother looking as he shot his hand back and punched the guy square in the face, breaking his skull and killing him instantly.

"Hey! Put him down you meanie!" Yuumi detached herself from Naruto and lunged at Sett with her claws, but the Boss just lazily grabbed her and held her in the air before turning his attention back to Naruto, who was struggling to free himself but Sett's arm didn't even move an inch. Asia and Book also tried to help, but a flick of his finger was more than enough to knock both of them back.

"Like I said… you are a half ass summoner." Sett said as he glared into Naruto's eyes, a dark expression on his face "Why should I waste my time with a kid like you? You don't look like you can pay the fee either, so buzz off."

With that, he threw Naruto onto the ground, causing the blond to land heavily on his ass before tossing Yuumi toward him, making Naruto catch her with both hands as Book flew over in relief.

"So it's money then. Fine, help me and I will pay you later." Though, Naruto wasn't sure if he had even made enough money to pay someone like Sett, who seemed to see through him.

"A no is a no kid. Plus, my service isn't that cheap." Sett growled "Now, send me… What's so funny?" He then noticed the evil smirk on his face and asked with a tick mark on his forehead.

"You know what boss… how about I summon your mother on your ass?" The blond asked, smirking evilly and tauntingly. Much to everyone's surprise, Sett looked quite taken apart by it.

"Don't try to fool me! We all know that you can only summon those who qualified as champions." Naruto raised an eyebrow at that. That's something he didn't know, but still did his best to keep a straight face. Now was not the time to show weakness.

"Wanna see me try?" Naruto asked as he put one hand on the ground, making a magic circle appear. "I wonder what momma will say, when she finds out that her 'good hearted' son isn't out building schools and hospitals for poor orphans but beating the craps out of his opponents in fight pits and ruling the criminal Underworld of Ionia."

"You… you…" Sett muttered while pointing his finger at Naruto, shaking in anger but at the same time sweating nervously. Lore wise, strong champions also meant that it was harder for him to enlist their services, but not Sett, whose one weakness was his beloved mother. "HAH! I like you kid! You have more guts than I thought!" He then laughed with his hands on her hips, rather awkwardly, making Naruto, Yuumi and Asia sweat-dropped. "So, whose sorry asses do I have to beat in your stead, oh great summoner?"

"Them!" Naruto pointed his hand at Raynare and her group as Yuumi copied his gesture with a paw "Defeat them and protect Asia." Sett then spun around and smirked as he cracked his knuckle.

"I see. So, who's ready to rumble?" He then suddenly turned around to look at Naruto, waving a hand at him as he said "Hey, uh, listen... My momma don't need to know any o' this. 'kay?"

"If you can beat them, then yes." Naruto nodded his head, satisfied as Sett turned back to face the fallen and stray exorcists. He took a step forward, causing them to take one back nervously until a number of them gathered their courage and charged at him.

"Nothing I hate more than people with sleeves." With that said, he grabbed a stray Exorcist by his head and slammed him down to the ground, breaking it and also his back in the process before lifting him up and throwing him at another, sending them both away. Dohnaseek and Mittelt tried to attack him, but Sett didn't even bother blocking, letting them hit and slash him repeatedly until electricity started crackling all around him.

With a wide smirk on his face, The Boss got into a stance with his right fist cocking back. Before any of them could react, Sett threw his fist forward, punching the air with so much force it became distorted, blasting the whole area in front of him up with a shockwave that was generated from the sheer force behind his attack alone before unleashing all the damage he had taken in a wave of energy. Both Dohnaseek and Mittelt were sent flying into the air with damages beyond imagination before landing somewhere in the park, unconscious.

"Oi oi! No tapping out in my ring." Sett said while twirling his fists around as all the cuts and bruises on his body healed up.

"Die, you shitty devil's summon!"

Freed then came at him from the side with a stab of his light sword, but The Boss merely shot his hand out and grabbed him by the neck in midair, wiping the bloodthirsty smirk off of his face with a question and a dark expression on his face.

"You swing on the boss?" He asked with an eyebrow raised, and then punched Freed's gut with so much force a shockwave was generated and knocked everyone onto the ground "LET'S GO FOR A RIDE!"

Saying that, the Boss leaped into the air, carrying Freed with him. His whole body crackled with yellow electricity as Sett flipped onto his back and slammed himself and Freed down into the ground and the last group of stray exorcists, knocking them into the air screaming in terror before the whole area around him exploded.

Raynare and Kalawarner managed to fly away at the last second so they were spared from the destructive power of The Show Stopper. When the smoke was clear, the Boss was the only one left standing, dusting his hands as he walked out of the hole of bodies he had left on the ground. Several of them were dead, no one more so than Freed, whose spine and organs had been completely shattered.

"I don't like hitting women, but… business is business. You two also don't look so harmless." And with that said, the boss charged at the two.

But before he could reach either of his targets, a massive bolt of lightning shot down from the sky, hitting Raynare and Kalawarner and sending them both stumbling onto their backs. Naruto looked up and smiled in relief to see his master Rias and Akeno flying down toward him with their wings.

"Ara ara, then allow me." Akeno said with a soft giggle as she hid her smile behind a hand. Sett thought she looked a bit creepy before he walked over to Raynare and Kalawarner, grabbing the back of their heads and slamming their foreheads against one another, knocking them out cold.

"Naruto!" Rias smiled as she and her Queen landed in front of the blond and embraced him. "You're okay, I'm so glad!" Before Naruto could hug his master back or even enjoy the feeling of her very large breasts against him, she pulled back and hit him lightly with a fist on his shoulder "What were you thinking? You should have called us! You're lucky I saw you using Ekko's ability from school and recognized it fast enough to view this park as enemy's territory for you to use Promotion."

"eheh, sorry buchou. There isn't time for a phone call." He then smiled at her before looking over at Sett, who had a bored look on his face as he stood there with his arms crossing on his chest "Thank you, Sett for helping me there."

"Yeah, whatever kid. I expect two dozen gold coins as payment the next time you summon me or borrow my gloves, and remember… uh… my momma doesn't need to know about all these, 'kay?" With that, the blond allowed him to leave, disappearing from the real world and returning to his Sacred Gear much to his friends' amusement.

It was at that moment Naruto's Promotion to Bishop ended, and the smartphone device that had fallen out of his pocket when Sett threw him disappeared with a crack of blue electricity.

Feeling his strength left him, Naruto let himself fall back before anyone could catch him, sitting down on the ground with a tired smile on his face before looking at Asia, who kneeled down next to him with a smile on her face.

It's finally over.

Note: Done! That wrapped up the first arc of this story! Hope everyone has had a great time reading this chapter.

There are several points I would like to address about Naruto's Sacred Gear in this note, so please read and tell me what you think:

Runeterra Arsenal, only allow Naruto to summon champions and their weapons from the Game League of Legend restrictedly. I will not have him summoned items from the game because there would be so many mechanics that I have to take into consideration unless the items themselves are associated with the champions themselves, for example: Viego's Blade of the Ruined King or Gangplank's Dead Man's Plate. Those things Naruto can summon, and used as his.

Runeterra Arsenal is at its earliest state of development, which mean that it can evolve even further in the future. Naruto, because of the amount of demonic power that he has (kudos to canon Naruto whose chakra reserve is one of the greatest) at one point he will automatically attain Balance Breaker of his Sacred Gear, called Multiverse Transcendence. I will not spoil its abilities, and let you figure them out until it appears.

Because of the same reason, for the time being Naruto's usages of abilities will be restricted to 'Game-mechanics' and not 'Lore-Mechanics'. However, at one point he will reach the 'Lore-Mechanics' of each ability, the final stage of his Sacred Gear. For example, Ekko's Z-Drive Engine is actually a time machine that allow him to travel back in time, not take him back in time in present time like his ultimate ability Chronobreak in the game (like how Naruto used it in this chapter). This also meant that for now only the summoned champions themselves can use the 'lore mechanics' versions of their abilities, making most of them much stronger than Naruto as he is now.

Naruto cannot summon another replica of his champion, or a weapon that is currently used by a champion that he summoned. That is because inside his Sacred Gear there is actually an artifactial world of Runeterra unique to him. Naruto cannot summon 2 Yuumi, or another Book of Threshold while Yuumi and Book are out with him.

So far in this story, Naruto only uses the weapons he has summoned as how they are, not how they are supposed to be, making them less effective than normal. The only ones who can teach him how to do that, are the champions themselves.

Yes, Naruto can summon the skin-variant versions of each champion and their weapons. However, excluding a few special ones that involved his Balance Breaker, they are all purely cosmetic changes and will give no additional effects. He will, however, prefer to use their standard appearances overall.

The reason I let Naruto summon Yuumi first, is not because I consider her to be weaker than other champions. I am a cat person and I really like Yuumi so I have him summon her first. Also, the reason Sett is summoned in this chapter and not someone else, is because he's my main and will play a crucial role in Naruto's strength developments in the future.

So far, Naruto has only summoned weapons of 'mechanically champions' with simple trigger mechanisms and wield them as his to fight (though nowhere near the caliber that that they can, for example if he summoned Sett's combat bracers, then they will just be normal gloves for him. He won't be able to perform the same feat as Sett can as it is something that he has to attain through trainings first). Mage, spell-caster type champions will have a different usage (Naruto can do it with skill based champions like Sett or Jax or Draven too, he just hasn't realized it) that is exciting and I cannot wait to write about it. I will let everyone guess this one as well.

Issei will just be a side character in this story. He is still around, just don't expect him to become important.

Yes to female Vali? I mean... I have a Valenne in Soundless Knight, no?

No, I will not have Naruto used powers or summon characters from other games. This is triple crossover between Naruto/Highschool DxD/League of Legend only. However, Legends of Runeterra and Wild Rift will still make cameos every now and then, it's just that they won't be as important as those qualified as champions of the League.

There will be champions that will 'permanently' stick around with Naruto later. Yuumi will be one of them.

League Gaming will be an important factor in this story. It'd be funny to see the girls fighting over the chance to be his duo-queue partner later on. And yes, his skills and rankings in league will start improving from this point on.

Since Raynare and Kalawarner are on popular demands, this chapter will not be the last time that you see them.
