A/N: Good to be back. I missed writing fictions.
*Crash*
The window shattered as she was slammed by him, hitting with her back. She tried to take control but her strength is decreasing from his.
She couldn't think of any possible ways to get out of his hold but to kick his balls.
"Agh." He groaned in pain.
She took the chance to dash and jump over him. He fell hard on the floor as she was sitting on top of his abdomen while punching him heavily for a few times.
When he regained his strength he gripped on her wrists and hardly slammed his head on hers. He pushed her off of him and stood up, seeing his wife groaning from the attack he made. She forced herself to stand up, despite the aching of her body. He took the chance to kick her, making her fly over the hard wall.
"Agh!" She groaned, blood were trailing down her forehead.
Both of them panted heavily. Their eyes met all of a sudden, a smirk formed his lips.
"Told you, honey. You should've given up." He stated to her.
She smirked, "You give up."
With that, both of them run off in a swift movement and grabbed their guns. Turning around, both of them pointed their guns at each other.
The couple we're still breathing heavily, their eyes were looking at each other with nothing but hidden emotions. But she held still, trying to look at him angrily. While him on the other hand, were also trying to look at her with anger but slowly, by slowly, he began to soften. Through her amber eyes all he could see was himself, pointing a shotgun at her. He couldn't do it.
"I..." He spoke, lowering his shotgun. "I can't do it."
She gripped on her pistol and pointed it at him abruptly. "NO! Do it!" She yelled trying to supress her emotions, "Shoot it."
He slowly move his head side ways, "No. I won't."
"Come on, Jiraiya! Don't let that madness eat the hell out of you!" She yelled, "DO IT."
How did this perfectly married couple turn into this toxic? Well before that matter, let's go back to the very beginning.
He was driving his motor in full speed in the traffic, trying to get away as much as possible from the cops.
While he's in the middle of driving, all of a sudden, his earbud communicator beeped.
"What?" He said on the line.
"The authorities are after you, Jiraiya." His friend, Hiro, stated.
He sighed out of irritation, "I know that."
"What did you do this time?" The other line asked.
"I don't have time to explain myself." Jiraiya said, "I want that building spyed and monitored, Hiro. Asap."
"What's the magic word?" Hiro joked through the phone.
"I don't have time for your jokes and all. This is an important matter."
"Fine." Hiro sighed on the other line, "Head to the Diner."
With that the call ended, leaving Jiraiya in the middle of the busy road.
As what he was hearing, the sound of the cops' alarm on the car got loud, making him aware that they were getting closer.
"Fuck." He cursed under his breath and drove off in full speed.
In the Diner
"Ugh! This taste nothing more like i ordered!" Hiro complained, spitting out what little he bit from his burger.
A waiter walked by, he raised his hand towards her, "Uh excuse me, can i have a ketch-" The waiter ignored him and went past him which made him irritated, "HEY. Excuse me?? Ex- excu- ugh whatever."
He rolled his eyes and decided to eat the burger 'he ordered', when suddenly, Jiraiya sat down infront of him in a lazy manner.
"Sup." Jiraiya greeted.
"Jesus, Jiraiya." He smirked sheepishly and took a big bite of his burger. "As was expected, you escaped." He said, looking at Jiraiya's bruises.
"This?" He pointed at one of his bruises. "This is nothing."
"Right."
Jiraiya suddenly took a pinch off of Hiro's burger and munched it, receiving a bad glare from Hiro.
"You know," Hiro started.
"What?"
He took another bite from his burger, "This is not a very good decision you've made so far this day." Hiro said, making Jiraiya look at him in confusion. "I mean, you could've just went to your office instead of going here. The cops could get you."
His eyebrows knitted in confusion and irritation, "What do you mean by a 'bad decision'? Bitch you told me to go here."
"Now, now, now, Buddy." Hiro exclaimed. "Don't go after me like that. I'm also going through a shit right now. I have problems, you have problems, we all have our own problems. Yours just so happens to be the son of the great criminal." Hiro stated.
Jiraiya smirked. "Yours just so happens
being a momma's boy."
Hiro raised his brows as he drinks his water slowly while averting his eyes off of him. "At least i have a mom." He thought.
"Enough with this." Jiraiya sighed as he leaned forward on the table. "How's the building that i asked you to monitor?"
Putting down the cup of water, "Ah yes, the building." He took out his laptop and began tapping on the keyboard of it. "So far..." He trailed. "The info i could get was..." Tapping more on the keyboard. After getting the result he showed Jiraiya the laptop. "This."
His charcoal eyes scanned the informations, brows knitting. "What the hell." He muttered under his breath.
"That building is not an ordinary one, my guy." Hiro stated.
"So you're telling me that-"
Hiro nodded and proceed what Jiraiya could have been said. "The building is controlled by some industry spies and assassins." He stated. "Apparently, there's only one assassin and i gotta say it to you, you could bump into the assassin one day and could have a hand on hand with it... so be careful."
"There's no traces of that assassin nor any of its identity, right?" Jiraiya spoke.
"Unfortunately, yes." Hiro stated with arms crossed together. "I recommend you to stay somewhere safe for now, Buddy. Since you blew up one of the buildings they're controlling."
"That won't be necessary and are you underestimating me?" Jiraiya crossed his hands.
Hiro sniggered nervously, "No, i'm ju-"
"Well you're kinda pointing that i have no chance winning a fight with that assassin." Jiraiya stated.
Hiro laughed nervously again, "What no, i'm not." He stated. "Look my friend, i'm just concerned about your wellbeing ."
Jiraiya rolled his eyes and sighed. Then suddenly a waiter came to their table with a bunch of bottle of beer with him. As the waiter was putting the beers on the table, Jiraiya was looking at Hiro with an eyebrow arched up. Hiro smiled and laughed nervously.
"Uh thank you." Hiro said to the waiter as the waiter left. Noticing that Jiraiya still have that same look on his face he sighed. "We have our own problems, my friend. So," He grabbed another bottle of beer and gave it to him. "Cheers?"
Jiraiya scratched the back of his head, "Whatever."
"Cheers!"
Morning came. The sunlight came seeping through the window and hit Jiraiya's sleeping eyes. His eyes squinted more from the sunlight. Groaning, he rubbed his forehead as his head was aching from lastnight's drinking session with Hiro.
When his pounding head relaxed. Jiraiya opened his eyes, only to be greeted by the unfamiliar white ceiling.
"What the..." He exclaimed as he sat up on the bed. "Where the hell am i?" Muttered to himself as his eyes scanned the whole room.
As his eyes go further down, right to the floor, he saw something that made him look at his own blancket covered body. His eyes widened upon seeing his body bear.
"What did i exactly do last night?" He said, slumping back down on the bed while trying to remember what he had done last night as he was drunk. His mind was raising to so many memories when one caught his whole attention.
