Soon after the Family Day, Adora was doing better and Medusa had stated that she was going to be able to go home soon enough Though Adora's inner demons were still there. She would never get rid of them, no matter how hard she had to try to get herself better. Adora just pushed those demons down, down to the deep deaths of her brain. Somehow she knew that she doing better but Medusa did tell her that there was a chance of relapse and if that happened she has to make the efforts to come back and restart if she needed it - but there was also talking to her as if she needed and emergency person to talk to instead of coming back. Medusa also said that she would find a group for Adora to talk to if she needed it.

Maka was happy as Adora was getting ready to go home. Though, Maka was worried that she would never get the chance to go home as she knew that she could tell that she wasn't going to be getting any better. No one knew that there must be other reasons why Maka was a slow progress, but Medusa had to figure it out as it was something that was bothering her, on paper she was doing so well, but when watching Maka, she wasn't doing much better.

As Adora was all packed up and waiting for Marie to come pick her up, she looked over at Maka and smiled brightly.

"I see that you are ready to go.." Maka looked at Adora and then looked at her hands.

"I am. I hope you do better so we can hang out and you can meet my brother and his friends - who are amazing." Adora said as she wanted Maka to get better since she might be able to help Black Star, though there was other things that were bothering her - but she pushed that to the back of her mind.

Just then Marie entered the building talking to Dr. Medusa. "And I already told Adora that I'm available to talk and if she needed, I can find her a group to go talk to if she needed it."

"Thank you Medusa," Marie smiled as she looked at Adora and then noticed that Maka was there. "Hey there Maka, how are you?"

"I-I'm doing okay. How are you?" Maka asked as she didn't make much eye contact with Marie.

Marie looked at Maka and then looked at Medusa with a raised eyebrow, and signaled that she wanted to ask her quick question. "I'll be right back Adora."

Medusa and Marie walked a few feet away from the two girls and Medusa wondered what she could possibly want to talk about now as she had to get Adora home.

"What is it?" Medusa asked.

"Did you get Maka tested for ASD, yet?" Marie asked.

"How would you know if she has it?" Medusa knew a bit about Marie's background as the two went to school together.

"Black Star shows a bit of signs of it sometimes, and I see a bit of the same signs that Maka is displaying, I can recommend someone who specializes in it to come talk to you and do some testing on Maka." Marie whispered - as she didn't want a lot of people to know of Black Star being on the ASD, it was something that not even Black Star knew.

"Do you trust that someone to do the testing on Maka and not to share it with anyone?" Medusa was worried about an outsider coming into the building and doing the testing on Maka.

"I do, I trust the person very much and if you want, we can even have Spirit here if you want him to be since it does involve Maka." Marie mentioned.

"Who would call him? I have no idea how to even start that conversation with him because you were the one who brought up Maka having potential ASD, we aren't even certain she has it.."

"I can call him and I will tell him, and if you want we can do the testing at that place and not here." Marie suggested. "I think Spirit might know that she is, but it's been a while and he was only concern about her health and wanting her to eat."

"I guess, I would have to let the staff know that she is going to be going out," Medusa nodded.

"I'll make the call, and I'll call you back." Marie said. "I better get Adora home."

Marie walked away from Medusa, this was something that was new to her - and yet, she could see some signs but it wasn't her job to place Maka in that area as her area of knowing about it - made it tricky. Marie got Adora into into the car, Adora looked out the window to see Maka being guided back into the building by Medusa. Adroa knew that she was ready to go home but she wondered if Maka would ever get to leave as she looked like she was doing so well.

Maka was sitting in her room as she looked at her bookcase - there were so many new books that her father brought her. She picked up one of them and saw a note on the inside cover -

Maka,

This is the current book for the semester that I am teaching. I want you to at least read something that I am teaching and maybe you can write me at least something what you learned from this book.

love,

papa

Maka took a look at the book, Paradise Lost by John Milton. She shrugged her shoulders as she opened the book and started to read the first page. She could get lost in any book - it didn't matter what it was, it was just something for her to go into and not be apart of the real world.

Adora was home as she opened Black Star's bedroom door. He looked up from his laptop. His jaw dropped as he saw his sister standing there. He got up and wrapped his arms around her.

"You...you really are here.." He whispered.

"Yeah, I am." She said as she rubbed his back a bit. "Tell me, how is everyone doing?"

"They are doing well..." He said, "I have a report due in Albarn's class."

"What's your report on?" Adora was curious as she was behind on classes since going to the looney bin- as she called it.

"The Faerie Queen and the knights in it and how they represent the deadly sins and the sins of virtue."

"That's going to be a lot of work..." Adora mentioned. "How do you plan to write that so fast?"

"I have my ways,"

"It better not be cheating..."

"It's not! I'm not -"

Black Star stopped - he was going to say something hateful. He was going to tell Adora that he wasn't like her. Someone who didn't do their homework and got someone else to do it for them. He just got her back and there was no way he was going to allow her to fall back down that rabbit hole. he couldn't say anything like that - he didn't know if it would cause her to go back to drinking.

"I'm not going to be cheating. We have to use outside resources anyways. So it would be a piece of a cake when I get to doing it." Black Star said.

"Okay...I hope that you will work hard on it."

Black Star nodded as he walked towards his room. He knew it was going to take a while for him to get through the research as it was going to be a lot - since each knight is different but then there are a bunch of different themes inside it. Black Star looked at his laptop as he started to look at articles. He wondered what Adora was going to be doing now that she back home. Was she going to be going to back school? Was she going to do online schooling?

Book 1

Of Mans First Disobedience, and the Fruit

Of that Forbidden Tree, whose mortal tast

Brought Death into the World, and all our woe,

With loss of EDEN, till one greater Man

Restore us, and regain the blissful Seat,

Sing Heav'nly Muse, that on the secret top

Of OREB, or of SINAI, didst inspire

That Shepherd, who first taught the chosen Seed,

In the Beginning how the Heav'ns and Earth

Rose out of CHAOS: Or if SION Hill

Delight thee more, and SILOA'S Brook that flow'd

Fast by the Oracle of God; I thence

Invoke thy aid to my adventrous Song,

That with no middle flight intends to soar

Above th' AONIAN Mount, while it pursues

Things unattempted yet in Prose or Rhime.

And chiefly Thou O Spirit, that dost prefer

Before all Temples th' upright heart and pure,

Instruct me, for Thou know'st; Thou from the first

Wast present, and with mighty wings outspread

Dove-like satst brooding on the vast Abyss

And mad'st it pregnant: What in me is dark

Illumine, what is low raise and support;

That to the highth of this great Argument

I may assert th' Eternal Providence,

And justifie the wayes of God to men.

Maka took a look at the writing. This was the first opening to Book 1 of Paradise Lost - and it was set up like a poem - with line numbers on the right hand side. Though she was sure that it more like a story than a poem. Maka knew what the first two lines were talking about. She was never one to write in a book - but she knew that her father got this one just for her to write in.

"Of Mans first disobedience, and the fruit of that forbidden tree, whose mortal tast" this line talks about Adam and Eve - and the apple. Since Adam and Eve were the first two humans that god created.

Maka wondered why her father was going to use Paradise Lost since it was long - and it was going to take a year to go through everything as there was just so much to do. Just from the first few lines Maka could tell that it was a sort of retelling of the bible from another set of eyes. Maybe it went more in depth than the Bible, though Maka just ended up closing the book as she didn't want to really want to get into reading the book right now. There was more that she could.

Faerie Queene: Knights, Virtues and Sins

By: Black Star

Originally I was going to write about how the knights represents a sin, but the more I re-read parts of the stories and some articles and other martials the more I realized that Spenser was writing about Virtues and which knight embodies it. This book report is about the Knights and which Virtue they embodied but I'm still going to be adding in about the Sins because there is a lot that correlates with Virtues and sins.

The first Knight is the hero of Book One, The RedCrosse Knight. He embodies Holiness, though everyone might agree, I disagree at first because there could be another that represent the knight more. I believe that the Sin that RedCrosse embodies is Pride - as he seems to think he can take on that snake lady and thinks he can take care of her when in reality he did terrible in the beginning but again it was because he was possessed by the power of Pride. He was Prideful of his abilities but unable to defeat the snake lady until he overcame the Pride within himself. So, when he defeated the Snake Lady; that was when he let go of Pride and then was able become the person he was supposed to be.

Black Star looked at what he has written so far - and then ended up stopping as he was unsure what else to do at that moment. He knew he had do more research before had to continue on. There was plenty of time before the essay was due - it was an end of year type of project. Black Star was more worried how Adora was going to be doing now that she was home. It was going to be hard for her t follow back into a normal routine.

Adora was going to be okay. It was something that Marie had told him, he knew that she was right - but he knew that deep down that they were worried that she was going to be different. He didn't know what happened behind the walls of that place but he could guess that everything was going to be different now that she was home. Adora. His older sister - by a few minutes was home and she was going to be her old self - before she became an acholic.

Just then the front door opened and Black Star got up from his desk and ran downstairs to see Adora. "Adora! You...you really are home.." Black Star said as he ran over and hugged her tight.

"Hey Buddy..." She said as she hugged him back.

She was home. She was happy to see him, but she knew that her thoughts - all they were thinking about was the fact that now that she was home she could start again and slowly die. Though she knew that Franken and Marie probably put locks on everything and hid everything. It was one of the steps that they had to take in order for her to come home. Black Star pulled away from the hug and smiled at her.

"Does that mean you'll be going back to school soon?" He asked her.

"It probably won't be for a while." Marie answered as she looked at the two of them. "Dr. Medusa wants Adora to start out slowly, getting back to a normal routine before doing school work."

Adora - who didn't know if it was true or not but didn't want to fight with it as she could probably understand that it was mostly Marie's choice not to send Adora back to school right away. Black Star who frowned a bit as he wanted Adora to come back to school and have her friends back as everyone was going to be happy to have her back in their lives.

Maka was sitting alone in her room. She heard the chatter of the other patients as they walked past her door. She kept her book open as she had looked at the notes that she had written in it.

Book III

Hail, holy Light, offspring of Heaven first-born,

Or of the Eternal coeternal beam

May I express thee unblam'd? since God is light,

And never but in unapproached light

Dwelt from eternity, dwelt then in thee

Bright effluence of bright essence increate.

Or hear'st thou rather pure ethereal stream,

Whose fountain who shall tell? before the sun,

Before the Heavens thou wert, and at the voice

Of God, as with a mantle, didst invest

The rising world of waters dark and deep,

Won from the void and formless infinite.

Thee I re-visit now with bolder wing,

Escap'd the Stygian pool, though long detain'd

In that obscure sojourn, while in my flight

Through utter and through middle darkness borne,

With other notes than to the Orphean lyre

I sung of Chaos and eternal Night

"Offspring = The Son = Heaven's Firstborn."

Maka nodded her head as she knew that this was helping her a bit as she missed being in class. She wondered if she would have any good friends that would want to be here and see her. Maka's mental state has kept her locked up with the disappearance of her mother who would want to be in contact with her. What if friends did that? What if they decided to leave, and not return...like Adora. How was she going to be there and see Adora when she was gone from this place...this hell.

Adora was sitting on her bed as she didn't know what she was happy to be back home. She had her own space, she didn't have to worry about talking to Dr. Medusa. She wouldn't see Maka.

Her mind froze. She wouldn't see Maka.

Maka.

The one person she enjoyed talking to and listening to. She was not going to be able to see her everyday. Maybe she could ask Marie to take her up there to see Maka but would that be good for Maka or would that cause Maka harm because she was still stuck there and Adora was free to be outside.
