As the days went by, Zane learned more about this strange land and its people. Hailey told Zane about the culture, traditions, and daily life in Mt. Horn. He found out that they were largely a rural nation that was largely specialized in agricultural production. They had a strong and advanced military and were currently fighting an ongoing war with some enemies on their western border. In turn, Zane told Hailey about Ninjago. She was fascinated to hear about the kinds of technology they had and the different groups of people that lived there. He also told her about his abilities as a nindroid.
"So let me get this straight." She said, obviously confused. "So y'all have a self-repair system, but it was also damaged when you got stabbed…"
"But still functioning." Zane finished.
"So that system is busy repairing itself first before moving on?"
"Yes. It functions very similarly to the processes of a healing human body."
"Oh okay, that makes more sense." She said.
Suddenly Zane fell back on the couch as his arm gave out. Black splotches formed in his vision as he became lightheaded.
"Are you okay?!" Hailey cried. Zane could barely nod.
"I-its a system-induced shutdown..." He told her. "It's so my body can focus all energy into repairing my system...I'll be okay..."
A few seconds later Zane blacked out. Hailey sighed.
"I guess you'll have to take it from here for right now." She said.
Ok, these are mainly going to be chill chapters except for this one and probably a few others. Also, would you like me to do accounts of Zane healing or just skip and get to the parts where he can move on his own again and Hailey shows him around Mt. Horn? Tell me in the reviews.
