At the end of Ward we saw that Weld's power was altered during the fight with the Titans but we never saw the specifics of it. Lung, inexplicably continued to survive everything that was thrown at him...But now he gets to learn about the downside of having a metal body.

A comic needs to be more than just a story and some pictures. It needs to have a soul.
