Author's Note: To ReadingBeta, Xandar is still working through his own struggles. In order to make a character believable, they can't be perfect. He may be stronger than when he started, but he still has emotions and a lot of unresolved aggression. Truthfully, I think in order to make him stronger...he has to go through something awful. Hint, it'll be in the Truth Seekers episode. Also, Striker only broke the dam because he knows how to hit people where it hurts and he definitely hit Xandar where it hurt.

As well, I know you guys think of my character as a crybaby, but honestly, I can't just start off or make him a complete Mary-Sue at any point. He needs to still have flaws, he needs to be relatable...or at least, somewhat relatable. If I made him a Mary-Sue or Gary-Sue, he'd no longer be interesting. His past is what makes him tick and he needs to grow through his struggles. Now, let's begin!

Last time on Xandar's Helluva Adventures, a competition was held, a murder was stopped and a huge battle broke out. Now, Xandar comes clean, discussions are had and Loona opens up to Xandar.

Chapter Twenty-Three: After The Festival

Xandar's P.O.V:

I stood next to Loona as Joe and Lin yelled at Millie. Honestly, can't they let it go? They're the ones who hired Striker in the first fucking place. Joe finally turned to me with a pointed finger. "And you!" He yelled. "I don't know what you're problem is," he then stops. "Actually, no. I do know. Ye'r a crybaby and further more, ya say one minute ye'r the Princes brother. The next his son? The fuck is even going on here?" He demanded.

I look at Moxxie, then Millie, then Blitzo and finally Loona. They all nod sadly. I sigh and glare at Joe. "You want to know what my problem is?" I growl.

"Yeah!" Joe shouts. I growl even more. Joe doesn't react. He simply continues his death glare.

"I'll show you what my problem is," I seethed and snap my fingers. As I transform Joe and Lin jaw drop. When the transformation is done I smirk at their shock.

"Ye'r...ye'r a-" Joe tries before I hold up a hand. If his jaw dropped any further it would fall and hit the ground.

"Yeah, I'm a human!" I snapped. "I only took on this form because I wanted to go through Hell without death glares! So go on! Be pissed off! Just know that at least these guys accept me even if you hate me! And further more, Loona is the love of my life. I didn't lie about that," I finish turning to her with a smile, which she returns.

Joe's features soften. "Look, Xandar-that's ye'r name, right?" He asks to make sure and I nod. "We don't hate ya. Now we understand why ya lied. Besides, ya showed us great strength during the festival. At least ye'r stronger than that weak thespian-" he tries before Moxxie slams the back of the I.M.P van causing all of us to jump.

"You know what?" Moxxie begins in anger. "I am so angry at you two! You never liked me and I get that. And I may not be a strong, beefy dick head...but Xandar and Millie has the strength for all of us. Furthermore," he continued to rant as Millie gave him a thumbs up and I smile. "You're getting on Millie's case for getting attacked by a ranch hand that you hired?" He practically demands. "Shaaaaame on you!" He finishes in a mock cowboy accent crossing his arms.

"Wow," Blitzo says in shock. "That was pretty bad ass," he said surprised. Joe walked up to Moxxie and said Imp looks at him. Oh no. Joe then nodded curtly and walked away

"Wow!" Millie cheered. "Pa has never acknowledged your input before," she praised before walking off on her crutches. At least that's true.

"Soooo, is that progress?" Moxxie asked. I smile and place a hand on Moxxie's shoulder. I nod at him.

"You're getting there Moxxie. You're getting there," I replied. He turned to me and nodded with a smile.

I sat at a table across from Stolas. He takes a sip of wine as I take a gulp of my beer. We set our drinks down, ironically at the same time and I sigh. "So why did you call me here dad?" I questioned curiously.

"Stella said that she'll let you stay at the palace, but you have to abide by her rules," he explained. "More than mine," he added with a scoff.

I think about it. On the one end, I want to stay with the family...but on the other end, I'm with Loona. What do I do? I sigh after a moment. "How soon do I need to decide?" I asked.

"By the end of today. But, Octavia and I won't be upset if you decide to stay with Loona," he replied. He smiled. All I could do was frown. Stolas takes in my look. "Are you alright?" He inquired. "You seemed pretty upset at the festival. I would've said something, but I had to perform my royal duties-" he tried to explain, but I hold up my hand and he stops.

"It's ok. I understand. "It's just...that Striker guy. He was getting under my skin. The stab was the last straw." I sigh, taking two gulps of my beer and essentially finishing it.

Stolas sighed. Why is he upset? I said it was ok. "You know Xandar," he begins with a sad look. "Weapons were not allowed at the festival, but I couldn't disqualify him due to popular demand. I would have done so immediately had I had the choice. I'm sorry son."

I nod in understanding. I finally smile. "It's ok dad. I completely understand. Don't worry, you'll have the answer by the end of the day." I stand up, but before I turned to leave, I smile at him again. "I do enjoy when we hang out dad. I want you to know I appreciate it." Stolas smiled and gave me a hug, which I returned.

"You as well son. I'll see you in awhile."

"You too dad."

I found myself sitting with Loona. She stared off onto space holding a cigarette in her hand. She takes a puff and blows out the smoke with a sigh.

I look down. "Loona?" I begin looking at her. She takes another puff before turning to me.

"Yeah?" She wondered staring into my eyes. She puts the cigarette back in her mouth and grabs a bottle of whiskey. Debating for a moment she puffs one more time on her cigarette, puts it out and takes a long swig of the drink.

"Are you...do you think I'm pathetic?" I requested voice cracking. She turned to me in shock. I stare at the ground as a tear rolls down my cheek. "I need to know," I trembled.

"No baby!" She gasped in shock and pulls me in for a hug. I continue to stare at the ground. "You're ok. You just...you struggle a lot. I don't think you're pathetic. You're a kind, sweet man and I love you!" She finished holding me tighter.

I pull away, place my hands on her shoulders and looked her in the eyes sadly. "I love you too," I replied. "I thought I was stronger. I-I thought I was brave. But that bastard Striker, made me feel like less of a man. All I want is to be brave! Like you," I tell her with tears streaming down my face.

Loona sighed and looked me in the eyes again. "You don't have to be like me to be brave...you just need to be yourself. And you're strong, just the way you are," She finished with a smile. I smile too, though I don't know what I should do. No, I do. I'm going to get stronger. For her and for me.

"Loona. I...Stolas offered for me to come stay at the palace," I begin as she turned to me again. She takes a swig of her whiskey and nods. "I don't know if I should. I care about you and I don't want you to think that-" I tried to say but she places a finger on my lips.

"It's ok Xandar," She replied with a smile. "I won't be mad. I love you." I smile and lightly grab her hand.

"I love you too." With that, we began to make out again. You can figure out the rest from there, but damn. She's an angel with a perfect heart and body. God I love her so much...

Author's Note: I'm sorry for the short chapter. There will be at least one more before we get into the Truth Seekers episode. And believe me, it's gonna be a doozy.

Next time on Xandar's Helluva Adventures, Xandar moves in with the Goetia family and Stella hatches a plan.
