Enjoy!
Once he had a better idea of where to go in a few days time he found a familiar scent, one he had never wanted to come across again.
Pressing on he followed it coming to a stream. Stopping to get some water he felt eyes on him from a tree.
"I mean no harm." He called out. "I am just resting."
"I have never seen you around here and I know all of the demons." A younger males voice called back.
Standing he looked up to see a boy sitting on a limb with sandy colored hair hanging loose down his shoulders and grey eyes. He bore a resemblance to Riku.
"I am looking for someone, the Lady Yoake." Nen said. "Do you know where I may find her?"
"No." The boy answered back quickly. Jumping down he was soon standing on the other side of the stream staring Nen down. "And I suggest you turn around and forget about her."
"Nikko, it is alright." Freezing at the voice Nen couldn't help the growl that escaped his throat. Coming through the trees stood the person he had come to hate. "This is Nen. He is an acquaintance of mine."
"Hardly." Nen replied reigning himself in.
"Go to your mother." Haru told his son.
Watching them apprehensively Nikko turned walking away. "To what do we owe this visit?"
"I know who I am, who I really am." Nen said.
"They told you. I am surprised. Getting anything out of my parents is damn near impossible."
"I have no words for you. I will speak with Lady Yoake."
"Alright." Haru acquiesced. "Promise me however you will be civil no matter how out of hand this meeting may become. Lady Yoake has a temper akin to your own."
Giving a curt nod Nen made the small leap across the stream standing beside the other. Staring him down he felt his pressure rise as he berated himself for feeling tears begin to form in his eyes. "You can hit me if you want.
I deserve it, for what I did to the two of you."
Swiping at his face quickly to catch his tears before they fell Nen shook his head once.
"That would mean acknowledging you and I have no intention to do so." He quipped.
"Fair enough. This way." Haruki motioned to have Nen follow him. Walking someways he soon smelled smoke from a fire and saw small enclosures made of wood and fabric that could be dismantled.
"The next time you rip your kimono Hatsumi I will have you walk around in your natural form with no need for any clothing." A woman's voice could be heard as she sat on the ground sewing.
"Ah! Mama! No!" A young girl cried out her hair darker than Nikkos.
"Hatsu rrrriiiip!" Another small girl shouted out as she sat next to her identical twin sister.
"Be quiet Suki!" Hatsumi snapped at her showing her fangs.
"Ha ha ha ha." The other twin giggled out. "Rrrriiip."
"Stop it!" Hatsumi yelled jumping to her feet and running at them.
"Ahhhh!" Both the twins screamed as they transformed in to pups running in opposite directions.
"Welcome to my chaos." Haru said softly as he walked closer to his family. "Where is Nikko?"
"His tent." The woman said. "Better question, who is this?" Laying her sewing down she looked up at Nen with sharp, silver eyes that were nearly opaque.
"Lady Yoake." Nen said bowing respectfully as he knelt. "I am Nen. I serve Lord Sesshomaru and Lord Kohaku along with the Lady Rin and Lady Izumi in the western lands."
"Lady Izumi, of the east." Yoake said with a growl.
"Yes."
"You can tell your lady that sent you to fuck herself." Yoake said bluntly.
"I came on my own accord." Nen replied feeling nervous and anxious. "I have come across information recently that my litter mate and I are the sons of Lord Yami and Lady Ai."
In an instant Yoake was on her feet and standing beside him tugging at his armor.
"Strip!" She ordered.
"I…"
"Prove it." She snarled. Understanding what she meant he stood removing his armor and kimono raising his demon energy to show his true eye color as well as his markings. Watching as she took a step back and began to tremble Nen stood still. "My brothers…markings…you have….and his mates eyes."
Turning quickly she glared at Haru. Before she could say anything he spoke.
"Yes. I have known that they were both alive." He said.
"How…dare you!" Yoake howled. "You insufferable eastern bastard!"
"I shouldn't have kept it from you…" Haru tried only to be interrupted.
"No Haru! Being unfaithful or being called away is something that shouldn't be kept from me! This! This is unforgivable!" She shouted. Bringing their children's attention they all stared intensely with Nikko poking his head out and the girls standing stark still.
"You are right." Haru agreed.
"Leave my sight. Go back to your treacherous father and bitch mother!" Thinking for a moment she looked at Nen briefly. "You are in the same compound as them."
"Yes."
"Your clothing, is from the celestial palace isn't it?"
"It is." Nen confirmed. Looking up at the sky towards the west she howled.
"Nishi! You lying cunt! All of you! Liars! Traitors!" Yoake screeched out.
"Mate." Haruki attempted only to be clawed at.
"Leave! Leave!" She screamed in rage.
"Yes my lady." Haru said with a respectful bow before he turned to leave.
"Father?" Nikko called after him.
"Take care of your mother until I return." He called back.
"You are not welcome back! Lying mutt!" Yoake yelled after him.
"Oooooo. Mama mad." Suki whispered to her sisters.
"Shush. Something bad has happened." Hatsumi said.
"Mama? You mad?" The other twin called out. "At papa?"
"Yaeko, quiet." Hatsumi warned.
"Go to your tent." Yoake commanded. Waiting until they left she stood for a moment before reaching in to her kimono pocket and taking out a short pipe. Sitting down she packed it with her finger from a small wooden container she had taken out as well.
Taking a stick she placed it in the fire waiting for it to catch before lighting her pipe puffing on it. "Are you going to stand there all day?"
Taking her hint Nen moved closer to her to sit across the fire from her.
"I apologize for the disruption." Nen said softly.
"Disruption, interesting way of putting it." Yoake replied. "It is though I suppose disrupted a great many things such as everything I knew to be truth."
"Yes." Nen agreed feeling similar.
"So, tell me Nen, what do you want to know?"
