2. Chapter 01: Aboard - The Egg Carrier!

Greetings dear Sonic Fans, here's the second chapter of this story. Filled with things that RPG Lovers like to see in games, manga, and anime. It's taken time on what can bring about level-up stuff and label skills on their function to raising them to the MAX, but it's about covered. So anyway, I'll be taking a break to work out my other works but when I come around, I'll get this story on track. Until then, get ready to enjoy some surprising things yet to come…

Chapter 01: Aboard – The Egg Carrier!

-DAY 1-

The scene opens to where Leo the Lion was swimming in the open water. He was doing a few different swim practices with the arms and legs. Next Leo takes a deep breath to go under water, as he adjust his eyes to see the sea life creatures and fish that pass by. At this moment while the scene plays out, we hear Leo's voice as if narrating events like a journal entry.

Day 1 - On the first day, I've been busy getting some swim practice in. It helped me determine how far my stamina would last while exploring what sort of fish swam by this abandon GUN facility.

While Leo was swimming, a large shark was heading towards his direction. Leo took notice of the fish fleeing in fear of something on the move. That's when Leo took his swords out and stopped a rushing shark from trying to bite him off. It was a Great White Shark, and it swam it's prey around very fast while trying to bite through the weapons. Leo was charging one of his fist as the shark was heading upwards…

Of course, meeting a Great White Shark was not part of the plan. I was lucky that when it tried to eat me, I kept it from biting down and it swam me up to the surface. And took care of it.

"BOOM!" A huge explosion of water erupted from the spot near the island. Then we find many fish floating up along with a Great White Shark. Soon Leo pops to the surface to inspect his latest catch of the day.

Well, perhaps learning to fish is a skill? I'm basically a cat now, and Big the Cat is skilled at a fishing pole. I'll try seeing how that goes when I first make a fishing pole.

-SKILL LEARNED-

*Swimming Lv.1: Learning how to swim can help one when they are in the water. Helps develop muscle movement and breathing control to allow one to swim faster. More practice can lead one to compete as an Athletic Swimmer.

*Underwater Fighter Lv.1: When diving underwater, there are dangers from sea predators that attack without warning. Those not apart of aquatic nature learn to develop the ability to handle themselves in water battles. The more one learns to handle how to fight better underwater, the greater chances they can fight on even terms or counterattack what dangers charge at them.

-DAY 2-

The scene opens to where Leo had chomped down some island tree, and used his swords to help smooth out a branch. He then used some cloth string he managed to make from the old lab-coat. Then tied a piece of bent metal to appear like a hook.

I don't recall much about if I knew how to fish, memories of my past life is a blur? So I've basically decided to try and use a method seen in books, TV shows, films, even games…of creating a simple fish rod.

We see Leo approach what appears to be a river current from a waterfall leading to the ocean, and apparently some habitat fish that occasional swim in the area. Leo sat down to patiently wait for any bites on his bait. And lets just say, it's looking like the fish aren't in a hurry to get caught.

I will admit, fishing is all about patients. So while I waited for any bait, I decided to work out.

Leo prepares to distract himself as he begins a form of exercises like Push-Ups and Sit Ups. After doing a few of those, he began to perform Running Laps while throwing some Punches like a running boxer. Even did a few Barrel Rolls, Zig-Zags for Evasion moves, and tried to focus on his eyes and ears on what to see and hear.

The workout alone was meant to help improve my physical abilities. I maybe a muscular lion man, but that shouldn't mean I skip this. If I was to challenge something, a develop body can prove to keep one alive longer.

Suddenly while training, Leo's ears managed to hear a slight noise. And it turns out that it was the fishing line that alerted one that there was a caught fish. So the lion man rushes to grab the fishing rode and haul in not just a meal, but practicing his fishing skill.

-SKILL LEARNED-

*Woodcutting Lv.1: A typical skill that woodcutters perform by chopping down trees. Helps develop strong cutting force when chopping down more then one tree at a time.

*Crafting Lv.1: A basic principle of learning to craft a few simple objects. A daily means to pass the time by being creative. The more one practices and mastering simple crafts work can then try something more complicated.

*Fishing Lv.1: A casual skill to help one learn about how to catch fish in lakes or rivers. The more time put in to catching more fish increases one's skill to catch even bigger fish that may put up more of a fight.

*Runner Lv.1: A casual skill to help those that wanna be in physical shape by performing running exercises. The more one keeps up their running paste, the faster they can run. Enough that it increases the body to be faster then the average person to finish exercise lapses without slowing down until they finish the course.

*Fist Fighter Lv.1: A skill focus entirely on developing one's fighting style using only their fist. The key is practicing on delivering punches to targets. Enhancing one's physical strength a good deal while making one launch faster punch blows. The more delivered fist means the stronger impacts to break glass or wooden structures while developing an endurance to not have such things leave scratch marks.

*Dodge Lv.1: A learn skill to help in practicing one's dodging capability. Helps enhance the feat of when to duck, dodge, and take cover. Useful when evading falling objects, projectile assaults, or even making certain to not get hit by an opponents fist or weapons.

-Day 5-

The scene opens to reveal that Leo was out on the sandy area where there was open space. Leo was placing the items he had on hand, swords, shield, and even a hand-blade. Each different scene splits between one of the weapons Leo was practicing to adjust his handling of them. Each one request how one performs a style with such a weapon.

The next few days, I tried to practice some fighting skills, to see where I'm at. The only weapons I wielded were a shield, a hand-blade, and now longswords."

Soon a pile of Gun Hunter and Laser Hunter robots that only the upper body was position with their weapons aim at different angles. And Leo equip what was a Shield Hunter's shield to help the guy out. Then he dives in as the attacks were fired, and perform evasive maneuvers while using the shield to block attacks.

I thought that perhaps that while it seem practical, I have a Hunter Shield like before. Only this time, not broken. I setup a perfect spot by using the range weapons from the busted GUN Robots wreckage I salvage to fire and help me block with shield training.

The attacks continued in some pattern while Leo was getting use to how to perform well with shields. The next challenge was practicing the course without a shield, just to help the body evade in certain desperations. This helped focus on using one or two swords to counter an attack by bouncing it or knocking it away from the target. But the results weren't always perfect that some attacks breach through to leave a slight painful impact on Leo, but he had to endure or else he suffer more incoming shots.

I had to switch styles and learn about dashing through enemy attackers. But I did feel a slight sting when I couldn't evade them all. But nobody said that training would be fun, it was hard work.

With much renew spirit, Leo engage to continue the training he was putting himself through. The courage of a lion would not back down, as Leo pushes himself to further expand his experience and horizon on how one must survive by any means. Even if that means hurting one's self to toughen the body and sharpen the mind.

-SKILL LEARNED-

*Concentration Lv.1: A skill to gain strength by focusing the mind of surroundings. When performing feats that involve either the Mind or the Body, concentration is key. The more concentrated one is on the body movement, the easier it is to pull off stronger attacks. And the more concentration one is on the mind focusing on what move or plan to make will help resolve solution patterns.

*Perception Lv.1: A skill to help gain stronger vision of one's surroundings. Allowing one to pay close attention to details using perception as key. This helps those needing to hit targets from far away with better accuracy.

*Physical Endurance Lv.1: A skill to gain strong defense for the body. Training a body to be physically fit is one thing, but training the body to be more defensive brings greater results. Enduring physical blows to the point that unless a stronger hit comes along it won't make the body budge.

*Shield User – Beginner Lv.1: A skill used by warriors that focus solidly on defense using shields. In some means, certain shield warriors would take the blow of enemies as they could endure while protecting themselves and their allies. The more skilled one is using shield for protection, the better results for a good defense is a good offense.

*Swordsmanship – Beginner Lv.1: A skill used by warriors that focus solidly on offense using swords. By focusing on how to be a swordsman, one could gain the upper-hand against other weapon wielding opponents. The sword can cut through and deal slash blows on basic soft or weak structures, but when used by fully train users can deal critical blows against even slightly armored foes.

*Dual-Swordsmanship – Beginner Lv.1: A skill used by swordsmen that developed a unique sword style of wielding two blades. Normally a swordsman focuses on one sword in either left or right hand, and sometimes wield a shield. But dual-wielding allows for more offense power and when train perfectly can also be defensive.

-Day 7-

The scene opens to find Leo sitting on top one of the island's small mountain peaks. He was in a strange warrior's meditative state of a kneel position with one of his swords out. A strange yellow aura was forming as Leo opened his eyes wide.

Today was the day I would learn a skill I was looking forward to try.

-UNLOCKED SKILL-

*Chaos Force User Lv.1: A super rare skill that's the embodiment of all Chaos Energy, the mystical power wielded by few and known as the all-encompassing energy of the universe. It can be access through two known methods: by a natural link to the Chaos Force itself or by drawing upon a magical object that has such a link, such as a Chaos Emerald. Certain individuals call upon a certain Prayer to help amplify their connection to the Chaos Force. Chaos energy can be used for a number of applications, from being able to power machinery to reshaping reality itself. Through harnessing Chaos energy, individuals can utilize unique abilities, such as Chaos Control. Chaos energy can be used by an elite few to transform into unique states known as 'Super Forms'. These transformations greatly increase the innate powers of the individual and also provide them with new abilities, the most common of which are flight and invulnerability. Raw Chaos energy in its purest form appears to have a yellow-green color when using basic techniques. Despite this, Chaos energy can be in various colors depending on the user and the technique being used.

"Yes, Chaos Force…the prime known power source that's been the talk in any Sonic world related subject. I had finally acquired the potential to tap into Chaos Energy.

The training now shows that Leo was getting a feel for the strange aura he was creating. He wiggled his hands from the strange sensation. At first it felt like when Leo performs his Beast-King Fist or Howling Crusher, but those things were a different source of energy compare to the raw force obtain now.

"On one note, the Chaos Emeralds give anyone the power of Chaos and can do unforeseen abilities. Even transform one into a Super Form. There are only so few that I've seen harness Chaos Energy to gain a Super Form and perform untold measurements."

Training began for Leo as he stood up to continue the flow of using Chaos Force over his body. That's when images show Sonic characters and their involvement with Chaos Emeralds and how the power could perform amazing feats.

When I learned when Shadow the Hedgehog enter the fold, one could perform feats without the need of Super Transformation. One just needed to hold a Chaos Emerald and say Chaos Control, allowing one to manipulate space and time. Such as slow down time and teleport by warping within space and time, why even time travel seem possible. At least to some extent.

Then as Leo had his eyes closed, he began to picture a certain memory. The character that appeared was Shadow the Hedgehog, who demonstrates moves while channeling Chaos as energy. Including when Shadow performs a Chaos Spear that gave him an edge in many battles.

The best thing to happen was knowing that like Shadow, I too…am an Ultimate Lifeform, so there are some Chaos Power techniques I should use even without a Chaos Emerald or Super Transformation. If I could form a Chaos Spear like how Shadow does it so simply, it would be a first step.

Leo opens his eyes, and begins to focus on trying to create something with Chaos Force that even Shadow can do. But it seems that creating a single Chaos Spear requires concentration. The next big step will be creating a huge number of these things to wipe out a group of enemies.

-SKILL LEARNED-

*Chaos Spear Lv.1: A technique where the user channels raw Chaos Emerald energy as a form of electricity into a spear-shaped energy construct and then fires it as an energy bolt. Its power-level can be adjusted by the user, making it weak enough to just stun a target or powerful enough to inflict injuries. Another method is channeling the Chaos Spear's energy through swords when firing them. Upon manifested, the Chaos Spears are substantial enough to be physically grabbed and get embedded in surfaces.

-Day 12-

"Five days have gone by since I started my Chaos training. There have been some ups and downs lately. While much of my own separate training and daily task I can do well on, this practice seems the hardest."

Leo was seen trying to perform his other daily training and workout to help increase his skills. And at the same motion, to channel and create one Chaos Spear, but it was still pretty tricky.

"Rome wasn't built in a day, so mastering Chaos Powers may require more time." Leo exclaimed as he was trying to channel and focus himself here. "I can feel it. I can emit a gathering force and just about form a the technique: Chaos Spear!" He issued to focus on trying summon the called out technique.

Soon Leo began to form a something through the right hand. A form of electricity into a spear-shaped energy construct and then he fires it as an energy bolt "BOOM!" That single shot managed to deal a destructive blow to a small boulder.

"Well I suppose the real challenge is that firing a bolt made of raw Chaos Emerald energy, and even more so…unleashing more then one and adjusting the power-level to make it weak or strong is the hardest. Shadow the Hedgehog can do something as easily without breaking a sweat.

Leo tries to perform the same move, but this time tries to lessen the large amount. "BANG!" The next shot managed to ding a piece of metal frame set as a target. Then Leo tries to use Beast Fang to channel the Chaos Spear's energy through the sword before firing them. "BAM!" That move truly dealt critical damage to a large boulder, as it's reduce to rubble.

"Hugh…the first shot I used a lot of power that can inflict injuries on strong foes while the second might stun a target. And it seems I can channel Chaos Energy through my blades, something I believe was used by the alternate reality doppelganger of Shadow known as Sir Lancelot? This is a major feat to unlock!?" Leo expressed his amazement and wonder of what he was able to do and be more surprise then before. "And yet…Barely able to make three to six Chaos Spears, so I need to be careful in how I use them. This is truly enduring for my training." Leo exclaim

-SKILL LEARNED-

*Sword Beam – Novice Lv.1: A skill ability where a user can use a sword or other such bladed weapons to fire powerful beams/blasts of energy/matter or use the beams to enhance the cutting range of the blade. The stronger the wielder means a stronger effect. And when being used on more advance or powerfully crafted sword or bladed weapons make this ability even more stronger.

-DAY 14-

A loud noise was heard, as dark clouds covered over the island. Wasn't long before rain was falling with strong winds and strong waves splashing around the island. The camera zooms around the abandon GUN facility, as inside we spot Leo heading deeper into the area.

It is the 14th day, a sudden storm came in without warning. It's halted my training process. I stayed in the GUN facility to stay out, knowing they built this place to survive harsh storms."

We spot Leo exploring the areas that he previously visited and looks at the scrap of the bots he defeated when he first awoke in the world.

Knowing that I was staying put, I tried to find some other means of distracting myself. And that's when an idea came to me.

The scene opens to where Leo came across a 'DO NOT ENTER' sealed room label 'MAIN COMPUTER DATA STORAGE' on it. So Leo used his Beast-King Fist that opened a new path. And after walking into the place, found a main computer room filled with large hard drives of memories. Leo started to seat by a chair to work by a large screen monitor that displayed information.

"I decided to study a few things in the GUN Data base, but much of what was remaining was corroded. There were a few things about topics to pass the time.

Leo began to review a few things about what the researchers were doing and that GUN was paying by a separate faction for the project. There were many topics about using animal DNA to help make new Ultimate Lifeforms, but they had to start somewhere small. The research on what sort of animals seem like they could become acceptable to those that had problems that ended up like the Biolizard.

"From what I recall, 'Reading' anything helps increase the Intellect and Wisdom stats." Leo exclaimed to himself on remembering how there's another way to increase stats in RGP: that involves book reading task. "So no matter what the subject, research, terrain environment, mechanics, robotics, if it could improve myself, it's worth working to help not just the Body but the Mind as well." Leo felt assured that this was the best possible action he needs to take.

So Leo decided to spend his time reading all the data that this GUN facility had to offer him. Now the guy can increase his info about the world for when he leaves the island.

-DAY 17-

Inside the Main Computer Data Storage Room, we spot Leo sitting in the chair to view the monitor screen. And it showed the storm outside was seriously doing some rough stuff that would make sailors be cautious. Leo was watching things happen while having finished another chapter of some book that was saved into the system by one of the scientist that downloaded it.

The storm has continued, and while I have kept myself distracted…there is another thing that has come up that earn my complete attention.

That's when a pop-up screen appeared that alerted Leo, and even more so of what it had to say:

"After Brave Lion, there's been much on other passive abilities I've gain." Leo studied this display to know what sort of abilities one can use that just come naturally. "Okay, now for Skills?" Leo exclaimed from shifting his focus on some new skill sets.

"Hmmm…what's my Currency?" Leo shifts his focus on how much he's acquired some wealth means.

"From having searched the island, underwater and the GUN Base, I've managed to acquire sum of money that can help me. At least 5000 more to what I previously had." Leo rubs his chin from studying the currency he's obtain. "Let's check on my inventory?" He decided to review the items he has in his possession.

"It seems like one of those Dimensional Storage skills to review all the extra stuff I've come across on this island?" Leo ponders out about what he's viewing that helps one look over a large collection they have. "Then again, there were some Sonic characters that pulled things out of nowhere? Amy's Hammer being one thing." Leo speculated the matter on how such an ability could mean he holds nearly an infinity amount of things. "With this, perhaps it'll be easy to look over other things of what I need." The lion man states on how one can sort what is needed and if they have them.

Then Leo took notice of the interesting things in the storage of items. He obtain much metal materials, perhaps it's meant to be used for something important. And then there was the Gizoid materials, would they be used for something to make. And then there was the Chaos Battery Chargers, they apparently are meant to be used as an energy source but for what?

"Hmmm…Display SP!?" Leo decided to review the next thing that calls attention.

"The only notable Quest were how many sea creatures count and materials, plus my workout training equaled about 500 SP added to my current number." Leo explain the basic stuff he's done so far to help him score some SP amounts. "I haven't used any of this, I planned to save enough for if I needed some for an emergency." Leo scratches his head from feeling like this next subject was the hardest to decide. "It's almost been a month on this island, my skills have only grown so much even after I evolved." Leo stated on how he's improved and has yet to use the SP that cost 5 points to increase either stats or certain skills. "The only threats I encounter were sharks, squids, octopus, eels, but they seem too low on levels to help raise my level quickly enough." Leo explain what he's dealt with but knew that unlike before, such low level opponents didn't give much when one is high level: like Level 1-3 VS. a Level 25 opponent, one needs almost an army to get one level-up.

Then an instant memory of facing down some Orcas when Leo was swimming in the ocean to get food showed the loin man practice underwater fighting. It was not easy when one recalls in any Sonic game, one is suppose to runaway from being chased by Orcas in free run challenges. But in Leo's case, he had to take down those strong water creatures to help him survive.

"I suppose fighting against those surprise Orcas whenever I swam in the water helped me pass 2 levels. But that was about it after that, and nothing else has improved." Leo comments on what happen and has not happen since that time. "Perhaps I need to look over, and determine which should I invest the SP in? My acquired skills? Or obtain new skills? Or raise my stats? What would be more beneficial?" The lion man was faced with something that needs absolute attention on.

This was the hardest Leo had to do, considering that once the SP is spent, who knows how long it'll be until he can fill it up. The only way was from defeating enemies and completing certain daily quest stuff he managed to obtain from daily training and practicing new things. But Leo was missing something, and that was being more crafty in areas outside being strong and having luck to make it through.

"Hmmm, I've decided." Leo spoke forth in having decided what things he spend the SP on. "Transfer some SP to all Passive & Skills." Leo gave the word on what

"System, what happens when I transfer SP into Stats?" This may be the first time the lion man has ever done something like this.

"However by increasing my Intellect and Wisdom will provide aid later. And as for Luck, well…maybe it'll help my chances of finding a way off this island." The guy theorized what these three important stats could do in the long run.

With the task done, Leo continues to pass the time while the storm continues on outside as everything goes dark…

DAY 24

The scene opens The camera zooms around the island as the sun was finally seen again, and the fierce storm had left the area. Leo was seen leaving the entrance to the GUN abandon facility entrance. And now the lion man views the stuff that's scatter around the sandy beach.

"Looks like that storm really blew a lot of things, there's a few scraps mixed in with the kelp and a few sea creatures tangled in." Leo studied what was all over the sand, the typical mess one finds when a storm and waves toss things on nearby shores. "Hmm, what's that ahead?" Then Leo took notice of something that seem out of place.

Something ahead earn much attention, besides endless ocean water….an object seem to be floating. Course it looked like it was still halfway submerge, but that was besides the point on what it resembles as some aircraft. A large and heavily armored warship with a red, yellow, dark gray and white-colored hull. Consisting of a long and pointy bow with a red metal cover over its main cannon. The ship also had a fairly large and open deck and the Robotnik Empire's decal emblazoned on it. In addition, each side was covered by a large plate of armor which could be folded out into a wing. There were two massive jet engines on the rear.

"It…it can't be? But it is!" Leo muttered under his breath as he slowly took this in. "The EGG CARRIER!?" When he ushered those words, it looked like he was staring at a ghost ship.

Leo suddenly has memories about the Egg Carrier from when in the Sonic World, it was the events when a living liquid being called Chaos enter the picture. Eggman had such a massive warship made for such world conquest agenda, and there was something special about it. The Egg Carrier had two modes that it could transform into. First its pre-transformed form, the wings were folded up along the sides. Second its post-transformed form on the other hand, the wings and thrusters would extended out to the sides and the top of the rear deck would raise up. However it suffered damages and crashed into the ocean before later models like the Egg Carrier 2 came forth but was destroyed by Perfect Chaos and the newer model from the Solaris Incident suffered engine failure to crash.

-HIDDEN QUEST-

***EGG CARRIER INVESTIGATION***

This early model of the Egg Carrier was an all-purpose aerial fortress with numerous commodities befitting an evil genius. Capable of flight and hovering, and was equipped with a plethora of weaponry. This included a large front-mounted laser cannon housed inside the bow known as the "Egg Cannon", which could fire a powerful cyan laser beam that was capable of incredible destruction. Other armaments included laser turrets, deployable air mines for infesting airspaces, missile launchers, and cannons for firing spiked objects. Hangars for quick deployment of aerial robot drones to defend the vessel. This Egg Carrier could also transform into two shapes; a Cruise Form and a high-movement Battle Form. While being somewhat streamlined in the former state, the latter made it much harder to get from the landing area to the bridge. In addition, equipped with a tractor beam for picking up objects and passengers.

OBJECTIVE: Created by Dr. Eggman but fell into the ocean after a mighty battle. It became lost and believed sunk into the ocean depths after Perfect Chaos made a scene by controlling all forces of water, but now it's sudden return holds a mystery? Find the lead Egg Keeper that has worked to repair the Egg Carrier up to it's former glory and destroy the target robot before it brings this warship back to Dr. Eggman.

"Is this…a QUEST!?" Leo muttered in surprise from what he was looking at. "It seems like increasing my Luck has had a major effect. But I didn't think it be THIS effective!?" He expected rewards but to take ownership of a warship was just insane to imagine. "Well, I suppose the next course, is to investigate it and find my target. Who knows, it may just be my ticket off this place." The guy confirms that this maybe the best shot

With enough said, Leo runs through the beach before jumping across the open water. When he made a splash, he began to swim until he reach the front of the Egg Carrier. Then Leo climbs up to arrive at what was most likely Sky Deck on the left wing of the Egg Carrier.

"Hmmm, there should be an entrance somewhere?" Leo inspects the left wing while approaching the main vessel, trying to recall where the entrance as. "Ah, this will do." Leo slightly showed a smile, having found where the original entrance was.

Now Leo enters what was an old entry point that will lead him inside. So the lion man enters it before everything goes dark.

INSIDE THE EGG CARRIER

The scene changes to where Leo finds himself wondering through the hallways. But he was on guard, there was no telling what was lying in wait since this place was made to be like the villain's vessel of operation. The place seemed empty, but something was bringing this ship up to full operation again.

"Hmm…it's been a long time, my memory about the Egg Carrier is not what it use to be?" Leo tries to recall something about this place, but he was drawing a blank. "Perhaps if I continue down this path, I may find something familiar? I think if where I was had to be Area A – Deck, then I should be close to…ugh, if only I can remember?"

After passing through a door, Leo had somehow ended up in a strange new place which apparently was the large subdeck inside the Egg Carrier. Consisting of a moderately large hall with a large three-part screen situated just in front of the western wall. Above ground level in the hall, on the south and north sides of the walls, are also narrow passages that are connected to each other by bridges across the area.

"This is…Area G - Egg Carrier Hall?" Leo exclaimed from recognizing where he has ended up in. "Hmm…? I might have to recall where to go from here. There should be the Elevatore or the Free-Floating Platform to take me up or down, maybe it'll take me to the Bridge." Leo theorized what he recalls from seeing this place in a game.

Leo slowly walks to head up a flank of stairs, heading for what might be the elevator lift. But then a strange shadowy movement was seen acting behind the lion man.

"Hmm?" Leo reacted to stop his movement to inspect the area. "My new sharpen senses are acting up, something is here?" Leo felt like something was nearby to feel alert.

Leo got into a defense position, as he slowly continue to make his way up the stairs.

"Something is close here, very close?" Leo felt like whatever was in the room, he needed to be on alert.

The more Leo inspects the area, the more it felt like nothing was here. Was it just paranoid because of where

"I'm looking all over, but I'm not seeing it, so where?" Leo was not seeing where something of an enemy could be, not even above him. "Hugh, wait…below?" The guy remembered, that he was up on a structure but below was another floor.

"CRASH!" Then something broke through that collided with Leo.

"UUUUUrgh!?" Leo yelped as he tries to fight off what has him in a grip lock.

Soon Leo was sent through one of the other doors and was then dived into…

"SPLASH!?" Yes, there was water that went everywhere, and soon we spot someone coming up to the surface.

"GUUUah-Huuuuuuuh!?" Leo gasped for air after resurfacing from being underwater. "This….isn't salt water? It's fresh water?" The guy licked what the wetness was, and new he was not through out at sea because the water was not salty.

Now Leo swam out to the edge to climb himself out before noticing his surroundings. The place was a water pool complex and one for extravagances. In the middle of this room is the self-explanatory pool and surrounding it are various sun loungers and umbrellas. You think the place was setup to be so brightly lit that one was seeing the interior wall glasses and structure resemble the feel on being at a resort.

"I ended up in the Area E – Pool? But how, I don't recall a pattern to each this place so fast?" Leo was flabbergasted to find out where he ended up. "Ugh, I don't know why or how this happened, but something managed to get me? I need to be ready if it shows…" The guy just shook it off and decided to focus on one problem at a time.

"SPLASH!" Then something else pops out of the pool water to land on the floor few feet away from the lion man. It was a vaguely humanoid green robot with a trashcan-like head. On top of its head was a lid with a black surface and yellow lower rim, and on the bottom of its head was a red stripe. Situated on the bottom of its head up front was a black face section with two red eyes, and extending out in front of ZERO's face was a golden handlebar. On the back of its head were also two green prongs with red tips. On the sides of its head, next to its face, it also had two black bars for shoulders. Attached to these bars were its arms, which had thick green and red forearm armor and mitten-like black hands. Its lower body consisted of two stubby rocket thrusters attached on the sides of its hips. These thrusters were red on the top and had black exhausts on the bottom. It also had a fin on its rear, and up front it had a gray flap covering its pelvis. This pelvis plate had a black upper and lower rim, and a golden handlebar with a black grip attached to its bottom. It had an "E" on both sides of the head and the headlight was on the shoulder.

E-100 - ZERO

As part of the E-Series, ZERO was a very advanced robot that was developed to advance weaponry. However, it differed greatly from the other E-100 Series robots as it lacked a projectile weapon, mainly relying on locking onto an opponent and launching its fists to attack its foes, making use of a lock-on system and tethered hands. Unlike the standard E-Series model, ZERO also lacked legs or a Jet Booster, instead relying on a built-in propulsion unit for locomotion, which helped it to move over all possible terrain. Possesses impressive strength, able to smash through walls and generate shockwaves by punching the ground. It also had strong defensive strength, so the only way around it was to inflict damage by electrocuting it. Possess an "overdrive" mode as well after taking a certain amount of damage, where steam will bellow from its smokestack-like head, rendering it invulnerable to any sort of blow from enemy attackers.

"What…ZERO?! That's impossible!?" Leo exclaimed from seeing a familiar robot built by Dr. Eggman. "He was destroyed by Amy Rose, how is he…" The guy knew his history, Amy Rose was chased by ZERO until she finally fought and won by destroying the bot…

"Intruders must be eliminated." ZERO spoke with a deep male robotic tone of voice when addressing Leo.

That's when something was hovering to surround the area that turn into generators that emit an electric grid fence. Leo suddenly witness place his hands on the red lens on the forehead, which fires a dowsing laser beam. The lion man immediately used his Beast Fang to block the attack while ZERO closed in. Then Leo delivered a blow with the Scale Claw that knocked ZERO back a bit.

"It's a good thing I remembered what attack moves ZERO performs, the question is if I can handle it?" Leo

"Intruder Threat Level Risen…Begin Next Attack Phase." ZERO declared from recognizing Leo's potent threat must be taken to new heights. "POW!" Then ZERO delivered a powerful double fist punch to the ground, releasing a shockwave.

"CLASH!/GRrrrr!?" Leo braced the impact force as it pushed him a few feet back. "I forgot you have impressive strength? Then try this…BEAST-KING FIST!" Leo suddenly began to channel his force around his fist to fire off another lion-head of energy.

"PUNCH!" That attack knocked ZERO back a few feet away, but managed to adjust it's self. "Damage Recognize – Begin Countermeasures!/POW!" Then ZERO hovers above to perform another shockwave, this time with more electric force release.

"BRAVE SHIELD!/TRRisss…" Leo quickly summoned the Hunter's Shield to block the electric shockwave. "Good thing I learn that shield technique, and here's something else!/SLASH!" That's when Leo performed a surprise move by launching Fang Beast against the target.

"CLASH!" ZERO was sent bashing against the side of the electric grid net fence, temporally shorting it Then when it was over, steam began bellowing from the smokestack-like head and it opened to reveal it's blue core.

"That's it's weakness! Time to strike! HAarrrrr!" Leo roared as he charges with both weapons in his hands before leaping to deal a slash move.

"BASH!" Leo managed to land a good hit on the robot's core, but then he was repelled backwards. "Damage – Detect!" That's when ZERO's top closed again, ready to continue. "POW!" And then jumps upwards to perform another shockwave force.

"CLASH!/AAAAurghh!?" Leo was caught unprepared, as the force dealt damage while skidding backwards. "CLASH!?/GRRrr…?" Then another shock happen as Leo used the Hunter's Shield to absorb the drop double punch shockwave that pressed the lion man into the ground. "ROOOARRRR!/BEAST KING SLASH!" Then channeling energy through the Beast Fang in the other hand, Leo launch a counterattack.

"CRASH!/Trriizzz…" That energy sword force knock ZERO off and then crashed against the electric grid fence. "BANG!" The steam began bellowing from the smokestack-like head that popped open to reveal the blue core once more.

"It's exposed again!" Leo saw that his chance to attack was now. "ROOOOaaarrrr!" The lion man roars as he charges and with a glowing fist before dealing a punch blow.

"BASH!" And Leo for a second time, managed to land a hit on the bot's core, but he was again repelled. Then ZERO's top closed again, adjusting it's position.

"Threat Continue To Pose Danger. Begin Full On Attack Mode." ZERO declared to unleash all the stops against such a difficult opponent.

"POW!" Then ZERO leaps up higher in the air before performing an even more powerful shockwave punch force.

"Huuurrgh!?" Leo leaps up in the air to avoid the attack, but… "PUNCH!/AAARrrrgh!?" Without warning, a robot extended fist punched the lion man across the field. "GRrr…a Punch!? Really?" That was something he didn't think could happen, not since an earlier event from the Sonic Game. "POW!/CLASH!" Leo instantly reacts to holding up his two swords to block another double shockwave punch drop by ZERO. "Grrr….I…have to evade the next attack!?" Leo groans while trying to focus on the battle on what comes next.

"POW!" Before ZERO dropped another shockwave punch force, Leo managed to evade in the nick of time. "SLASH!" Then Leo managed to deliver a sword strike that knock ZERO on the ground briefly.

"Error! This Unit Must Not Fail!" ZERO protest as it was banging it's chest plates in a gorilla action.

"That's where your wrong!" Leo protest as he stood up, ready to engage the enemy more.

"POW!" ZERO leaps up to powerful another shockwave punch, but Leo leaps to dodge the electric wave. "POW!...POW!" ZERO continued this action while Leo tried to time the actions to evade each shockwave surge.

"HOWLING CRUSHER!" Leo announced the name as he take s a big breath. "RAAARRRRRRRR!" And unleashed a powerful sonic shockwave of his roar directly at the enemy bot.

"POW!" That attack was strong enough to push ZERO against the electric grid to short out. And soon steam began bellowing from the smokestack-like head and pops open exposing the blue core.

"One shot, CHAOS SPEAR!" Leo held up his right hand to summon three bolts of energy arrows he fired off.

"BAM!" Those bolts of energy were thrown to impact the blue core which stun ZERO. That's when electric surges and flames began to escape from the body.

"Error! Unit…Has…Lost…" ZERO uttered in a damage state, as flashes of light escape it's body. "System…Crashing…" Those were the last words ZERO was making before it's body went limp. "BOOM-BOOM, BOOM…KABOOM!" Soon ZERO's entire body had chain reaction explosions before one big one completely blew it to pieces. With that, Leo let loose a silent sign of relief from having gone up against a Boss Level Foe and the result: E-ZERO's Defeat.

Leo absorb the understanding that he managed to gain benefits on taking down such a strong opponent. But there was something odd about the whole thing?

"That battle, something about it felt off?" Leo held his chin to ponder about what that battle felt to him. "The data described it was a replicated version, a copy? Does that mean…The rest of the E-100 Series is aboard this ship?" Leo theorized the meaning of what the data he reviewed mention, and it's possible there's more of the Egg Carrier Crew to deal with. "Now I have to tread more carefully, who knows who I may end up fighting?" Leo concludes his thoughts on needing to be cautious of the danger.

Leo soon heads for the door that would lead him out of the Pool area. He knew that taking this ship would not be easy, but he didn't expect an encounter against a copy of the E-100 Series. And from what Leo remembers, they were each around a Boss-Level threat when one encountered them, so the lion-man has to tread very carefully.

EGG CARRIER

LOCATION – AREA G

The scene opens to where Leo was now inside a round elevator platform. The guy had found the Free Floating Platform and it was taking him somewhere.

"Finding this Elevatore was fortunate, but now I wonder where this may lead me to next?" Leo ponders about the current situation of exploring this vast ship. "I need to reach the bridge, and gain control here." The guy knew where he had to go, question was how to reach it.

When the elevator reach a spot, Leo exit out of it before continues down a hallway After walking through he found a door to enter it, only to discover a strange place. A circular room that had some Whack-A-Mole game with puppet versions of Sonic, Super Sonic and Robotnik.

"I think I ended up in the Hedgehog Hammer room, also known as the Torture Chamber." Leo speculated where he apparently has ended up in. "I think it was called torture for Eggman to deal frustration this way? Well, it doesn't appear active, games must not be on high demand when fixing a ship." The guy saw the place was not working, so wasting time playing games was put on hold. "Hmmm, the next room across…I wonder?" The door he saw brought about his curiosity.

Once Leo enters the door to leave the game room, what he found was something else. It was a prison corridor containing three cells. The place didn't look like it was top notch, but seem perfect to hold the average prisoner.

"This is….I know where I am? This is Prison Hall!" Leo exclaimed from recalling what this place was, a holding cell for prisoners.

Leo began to inspect the area with a careful, apparently this place held importance when having captured prisoners to remain aboard the warship.

"To think there were suppose to be many that would be imprisoned here?" Leo exclaimed from what his memory recalled that filled in these cells. "Come to think about it, in games…you could find valuable items like chest even in Prison Cells?" Leo recalls something that was very much about searching prisons to find hidden items and treasures.

This helped made Leo began to investigate the prisoner cells. From memory there was a level-up item, a Chao Egg and where Amy was kept. But after checking two cells so far, the only things inside where robotic schematics about the Gizoid Emerl and plans to alternate and change Gizoids into different types of models.

"I've obtain some interesting blueprints in how one might be able to create their own unique Gizoid models from two of the cells." Leo counted the things he was able to acquire after checking the first two cells so far. "The last prison cell, that's where Amy Rose was kept, I wonder…?" Leo stated from having mixed feelings of what else lies waiting behind such a cell.

But once Leo approached the final cell, he was uncertain if he may encounter someone else being a prisoner aboard this warship. After shaking it off, Leo approached to open the cell, and was meant with…a fired missile!?

"Hugh!?/BAM!" That attack exploded against Leo's shield which pushed him back and created a smokescreen. "Grrrr…" Leo growls annoyed after having shaken off what tried to blast him.

"Intruder Located!" A male robot voice was heard, addressing the threat before it.

"A hidden enemy, which is it?" Leo raised an eyebrow, uncertain which robot foe is coming forth.

"Apprehending target." The same voice address what it shall do next on it's task.

That's when Leo got defensive when something made loud metal footsteps to appear outside the open cell just as the smokescreen cleared out. It was some kind of a humanoid robot colored in black and white. Possessed no neck, the head and torso coming together in an almost ellipsoid shape. Torso was black with a wide and white vertical stripe down the middle, and possessed a head light with a hexagonal gray frame on the right side. Had gray mufflers surrounding the pelvis area, had the number "101" painted in white on the right of the large vertical stripe and the left side of the rear. The head meanwhile was small and platform-like with a yellow shade and green cylindrical eyes. Also had a Jet Booster hovering behind the neck. Shoulders were black vertical cylinders. Attached to each of them were arms, which were long and designed with two joints; each forearms were design as black gun barrels. The upper arms were black, while the parts between the upper arms and forearms were gray. Possesses two long and inverted legs with five points of articulation and large, black feet with two sharp toes and roller wheels on the heels. The upper sections of the legs in particular were black while the rest of them were gray, except from the calves, which were thick and black.

-ENEMY IDENTIFIED-

E-101 – BETA

*E-101 Beta (Replica) Lv.30*

POWER LEVEL: 3500

As part of the E-Series, Beta was a very advanced robot that was developed to advance weaponry. According to Dr. Eggman, Beta was even more advanced and powerful than E-102 Gamma was. Beta was re-equipped with small twin cannons fitted to each arm that could fire powerful missiles. Also possessed a Jet Booster that enabled him to slowly hover through the air for a safe landing. Additionally, as shown by his design, Beta could change his body frame when crouching down which let him roll on a set of wheels behind his feet to increase his speed. As the first unit in the E-100 Series of shooting robots in order to aid Dr. Eggman in his agenda to destroy Station Square and build Robotnikland on its ruins. While Beta went to the Final Egg shooting range to practice, Eggman finished constructing Beta's younger brother E-102 Gamma. Shortly after Gamma's test-run, Beta was summoned by Dr. Eggman and was pitted against Gamma to decide which of them would get a position among the crew onboard the Egg Carrier. Despite having the odds in his favor, Beta was defeated by Gamma. Not beaten in spirit however, Beta mutely appealed to his creator to still come along. Interested, Dr. Eggman eventually allowed Beta the privilege on the grounds that they could 'always use a spare set of parts'.

"Beta!?" Leo exclaimed surprised by what E-100 Series showed up now. "To think he would show up when last I heard he was…" The memory of what happen to Beta was clear, so why create something that was an early model.

"BANG!" But then Leo's thoughts were cut when Beta fired a missile without warning.

"BAM!/Grrr…" Leo managed to block the other shot using his shield to take the blow. "He's a replicated copy, it doesn't matter. I have to win!" Leo proclaimed that it's best to fight and figure things out later.

"Pow…" Beta fired another missile shot from it's arms. "BAM!" Leo managed to just duck out of the way of the explosion. "Pow…" But then another missile was fired at that same moment. "BAM!" Leo used his Hunter's Shield to block the explosive weapon.

"Somehow this isn't as tough as I expected, but…" Leo was stating from how things against Beta was nothing like ZERO's battle. "BOOM!" Then he had to use his shield to block another missile attack.

"Adjusting weapon output…" Beta declared to change tactics against this foe.

"Hmmm…My injury from fighting ZERO has yet to be healed. So this battle might take some time?" Leo stated on how the situation would be better if he was not still recovering.

"POW…" Beta fired another missile at that time. "BAM!" But Leo managed to escape the shot with record timing.

"Fortunately, even as a copy, his reaction time is not so fast. He was an early easy Boss at that time." Leo theorized that this enemy would not be super hard. "So let's try a little more force…BEAST-KING FIST!" Leo channeled energy into his fist before firing a lion head of energy.

"BOOM!" That attack actually knocked Beta across the room before using it's Hover Jet function to stop its self.

"Damage Detected! Begin Second Attack Maneuvers…" Beta alerts himself of the damage he's taken was serious.

Soon Beta takes off from the ground to gain a distance. "POW…" Then Beta tried firing another missile round directly at Leo which became a heat-seeking missile.

"A tracking missile, I forgot those were used before?" Leo

Leo soon began to run around the area, trying to evade the heat seeking missile. "BAM!" The missile exploded when the lion man dealt a slash of his swords to it. That caused smoke to cover him, which blinded Beta's sights.

"HRAAArrrgh…BEAST-KING SLASH!" Then Leo leaps out of the smoke, as he swung a blade with a charge amount of energy.

"BAM!" Beta took the second damage without warning.

"Error…Damage!?" Beta issue from stepping back and recovering what he barely endured.

"Okay, one more should do!" Leo grips his fist, it's just like when he fought this enemy in the game: three strong hits and it's over.

"Begin Final Stand Mode!" Beta declared from moving it's legs to balance its self. "POW-POW…POW-POW…POW-POW…" Soon Beta was firing extra rounds of missiles from it's arms like an endless barrage.

"Okay, so maybe not exactly over yet?!" Leo raise an eyebrow from seeing this taken a sudden twist.

Leo decided that speed and distance was key, and began to immediately rush around the area. "BAM-BAM…" Some of the earlier missiles blew up when they didn't reach Leo or their timer ran out. "BAM-BAM…" Another batch of missiles exploded too close to Leo, and saw more missiles fired from Beta. The lion man knew this would be endless, and had to end it…

Enough of this! HOWLING CRUSHER!" Leo shouted as he takes a deep breath while facing the enemy missile barrage. "RRRAAAAARRRRRR!" He unleashed a mighty roar soundwave directed at all the missiles before him.

"BOOM-BOOM…" The attack wave was destroying the missiles by blowing them up. "BOOM-BOOM…" The last ones fired were too close to Beta and then… "BAM!" Beta was hit with that big attack combo of it's own exploding missiles and from the Howling Crusher move.

"Error…Damage…Exceed….Function…" Beta exclaim as it's body was emitting smoke and sparks were shown from exceeding damage. "Shutting…Doooown…" Beta slowly replied as it's eyes were suddenly going dark now.

"BOOM-BOOM, BOOM…KABOOM!" Soon miniature explosions erupted before a bright light flashed from Beta's body in a big explosion sphere. Once the explosion faded out, there were no remains of the bot. Leo took a moment to absorb that he's taken down the second Boss Level Foe: Beta.

"Pant…to think Beta was this difficult even before he was taken apart and given a major upgrade." Leo pants from sounding exhausted before trying to wrap around how difficult the first version of Beta was compared to what he was remodeled into. "Now I must truly focus on who else I may run into? The level gap is somewhat stable to endure, but they are BOSS Level threats none the wiser." Leo knew that while he received experience to level-up, unlike the other enemies they were not label 'Boss' that separated the difficultly of the average foes in games.

Leo slowly prepares to leave the area, but he stops to momentarily look back. The sight of seeing the prison cell area, it had meaning behind it on any ship.

"Something tells me that in the future, I may have to imprison others here." Leo comments about how those that own warships, need something for if they capture enemies. "I only hope it is more of enemies then of friends." The guy prayed for not wanting to put innocent folks in such cells.

Leo stops himself from leaving when something just dawn to him. While he has faced many enemies, the fact remains that Leo came to this world and he's familiar with it. But there is no one he knows here, he's all alone.

"Friends…the thought had escaped me?" Leo muttered out about his lonely state.

Now Leo leaves the room to begin exploring more of the Egg Carrier and find what he's searching for.

EGG CARRIER

LOCATION – AREA A

The scene changes to where Leo exits the elevator to find himself outside of the Egg Carrier. He recognizes the oblong shape and the cannons. On the frontal half of the Deck is an elevated runway for airplanes with landing strips and is located on the bow of the ship, which can be accessed using a pair of elevators at the bottom of the structure holding it up. Behind the runway are as well an elevation that two elevators lead up along.

"Hmmm…I somehow ended up on the Deck?" Leo states on where he has ended up in this time. "I'm not sure if I'm closer to finding that Egg Keeper or not? If he's defeated, then the Quest is over." He states on trying to find his prime target related to the quest.

We see Leo moving forward a bit before he finds himself on the Front Deck area. The lion man takes a moment to inspect a spot that he recognizes.

"Hmm, something about this place, holds meaning?" Leo stated from having a strange déjà vu feeling. "An event took place here, that I'm certain?" He looks around, trying to recall such an important matter.

The more Leo studied the area, flash images of characters appeared. There was Sonic and Tails when meeting Amy and Dr. Eggman.

"Yes, I recall this was when Sonic and Tails meant up with Amy in their rescue attempt." Leo theorized why this scene looked so familiar to him. "But something else happened? What was it?" The guy scratched his head, trying to recall something important.

Leo was thinking very hard about why this area had such an important meaning. The images of when Sonic and Tails meant Amy, and then about Dr. Eggman taking a Chaos Emerald from a baby flicker. And there was one other thing that happened during the whole thing.

"That's it! I recall why this place was important! It's…" Leo's eyes widen when he realized what was missing about this place's importance.

"BANG!" Then another missile was fired from above heading for Leo.

"DANG!" But the lion man managed to rebound it's trajectory away from him. "BOOM!" The missile soon exploded a distance away as smoke covered the scene.

"So you DID arrive here? Why am I not surprised?" Leo narrow his eyes on expecting another enemy to appear, but which one.

"Engaging Intruder…" A robotic male voice was heard from above while recognizing Leo as a threat.

Soon it was recognized as a humanoid robot colored in mainly red and white. Possessed no neck, the head and torso coming together in an almost ellipsoid shape. The torso was red with a wide and white vertical stripe down the middle, and possessed a head light with a hexagonal gray frame on the right side. Gray mufflers surrounding the pelvis area. Had the number "102" painted in white on the right of the large vertical stripe and the left side of the rear. The head meanwhile was small and platform-like with a yellow shade and green cylindrical eyes. Had a hexagon-shaped disk hovering behind the neck, and a laser targeting scope on the right side of the head. The shoulders were black vertical cylinders. Attached to each of them were arms, which were long and designed with two joints; the left arm held a black-gray blaster while the right arm had a tri-digited hand with two points of articulation on each digit. The right upper arm was red with yellow-orange cuffs, while the parts between the upper arms and forearms were gray. Possessed two long and inverted legs with five points of articulation and large, black feet with two sharp toes and roller wheels on the heels. The upper sections of the legs in particular were red while the rest of them were gray, except from the calves, which were thick and red with gray and yellow-orange cuffs.

-ENEMY IDENTIFIED-

E-102 – GAMMA

*E-102 Gamma (Replica) Lv.45*

E-102 Gamma was designed for battle. As part of the E-Series, he was also a very advanced robot that was developed to advance weaponry. Gamma uses a machine gun in combat.

Being a gunner robot, Gamma wielded a single 15.5cm guided rapid-fire laser rifle that could accurately fire homing missiles in rapid succession. Additionally, E-102 was equipped with an infrared alignment laser that allowed him to lock-on to multiple targets at once. He also boasted high combat skills; he was able to hold his own against Sonic the Hedgehog. Most noticeably though, he could defeat E-101 Beta, who was already an even more advanced robot, as well as his successor, on his own. Gamma had a variety of "modes" to change his body frame to suit a situation. In his default mode, he could simply walk at a rather slow pace. By activating "Drive Mode", he would crouch down to roll on a set of wheels behind his feet to increase his speed. Another mode included "Water Mode", in which he would float indefinitely over water by deploying a fan on his abdomen. In addition to his normal armament, Gamma also was equip different devices to improve his abilities. These included the Laser Blaster, which increased his shooting range; and the Jet Booster, which gave him the ability to hover over pits. While being a high-tech marksman assault machine and the second model in the E-100 Series of robots created by Dr. Eggman, it was during the Chaos incident to aid in the destruction of Station Square. After joining the Egg Carrier's elite crew and noticing the doctor's cruelty, however, Gamma went rogue and abandoned his creator. Then assumed his own mission to "free" his robot brethren from his creator, and succeeded, though at the cost of his own life.

"Gamma…I can't believe they even made a replica of you too!?" Leo exclaimed surprised to recognize someone very familiar and he's now facing against.

"All enemies of Dr. Eggman will be destroyed." Gamma issued forth what it was programmed to do.

"Bang-Bang-Bang-Bang…" Then without warning, Gamma began firing laser shots that were pretty quick.

"BRAVE SHIELD!" Leo announced as he summoned the Hunter's Shield to take the shots. "CLANK!" The shield managed to withstand

"Resisting Is Futile!" Gamma declared that nothing will stop unit from it's mission. "POW-POW!" Next up, Gamma was firing missiles

"BAM!" Leo managed to have the shield endure the blows but they pack a bit more punch then the last bot's arsenal. "Grrr….then you leave me with little Choice!?...BEAST-KING FIST!" After a short growl, Leo charged his right fist to fire a lion aura head of energy.

"BAM!" Gamma was knock backwards from the attack but managed to rebalance himself.

"Damage…Ready to Aim!" Gamma recovered from the attack while beginning next counterattack. "Rapid Mode!" Gamma announced what he was going to perform.

"Bang-Bang-Bang-Bang…." Without warning, Gamma was firing rapid laser shots that forced Leo to yelp and move his feet. "Bang-Bang-Bang-Bang…" Then Gamma takes off to the sky by his Hover Jet to begin firing relentless shots all across the deck. "BOOM-BOOM-BOOM…" Multiple explosions were happening all around the deck, all of which were close shaves of almost taking out Leo.

"Somehow I don't recall Gamma being this active during the games?" Leo exclaimed from remembering when he first encounter Gamma in a Sonic Game, he never had such fierce action.

"Bang-Bang-Bang-Bang…" Gamma's continue assault was not letting up, Leo was trying to keep himself from getting hit. "BAM-BAM…" But then Leo yelps when one of the shots blew up an area the lion rushed into.

"Scanning for Target?" Gamma was scanning to determine if the target was taken out.

"Haaarrrrh!?" Then Leo shot upwards into the air, and summoned a bolt of energy in one hand. "CHAOS SPEAR!" He roared out before firing 3 to 5 bolts directly at the target.

"BAM!" The damage was dealt upon Gamma that was slightly stun. "Resuming Attack Motion!" Gamma announced his next change of attack pattern.

"Bang-Bang-Bang-Bang…" Gamma fired his laser shots at Lo when he was in the air.

"Time to see how well you go with a Shield up close!" Leo declared as he brought forth the Hunter's Shield to take the shots again. "HUuurrghhh!" Then without warning, Leo actually kicked his shield downwards against the attacking robot.

"BASH!/Wha-Auugh!?" Gamma yelped as the shield bashed against him to temporally lose balance and just barely hovered off the ground.

"Forgive me…HOWLING CRUSHER!" Leo declared before taking a big deep breath. "ROOOOOARRRRRR!" He unleashed a mighty roar shockwave when his opponent wasn't ready.

"BAM!" Gamma yelped from the explosive impact "CRASH!?" Then the bot fell to hit the ground

"Error…" Gamma tries to get up, but it's body was shorting out from the damage he sustain during the battle.

"Gamma…" Leo landed on the ground, and looked to the bot with some guilt.

"POW…" But then Gamma fired a missile without warning.

"BAM!/GRRaaugh!?" Leo didn't react in time, and was given damage.

"Mission…Must finish mission…" Gamma struggled to continue to fight even when badly damaged.

"What mission…Do you even remember…what your previous self tried to do that was not just follow Eggman but with free will to live as your own self?" Leo exclaim to remind this Gamma of what it choose to do when it learned the truth about Dr. Eggman: even without an animal inside, a copy should have some recollection of the original, right?

"Free Will…Living as one's self?" Gamma replied with confusion but somewhat felt as if this…held meaning. "Original….Over…Unit's Mission…Over…" Gamma replied while slowly it was starting to shutdown.

"BOOM-BOOM-BOOM…" Suddenly Gamma's body couldn't take the damage and explosions occurred along with flashing lights. "KABOOM!" Then a huge explosion came that swallowed whole Gamma as Leo shielded his eyes. When the light was extinguished, nothing much remained of the third Boss Threat: Gamma.

"Hmm, that battle….did not sit well with me." Leo felt a bit disturbed after having defeated this opponent. "Is it because I once remembered playing Gamma's character?" The guy tried to understand what it was he's feeling.

The more Leo thought about it, the more memories appeared. Gamma was an optional character to play when one unlocked different character's stories to see where they all connect. And Gamma was special because there was something that strengthen the animal inside used to help run the machine.

"Hugh, I have to remember, Eggman put in living animals in five of the E-100 series: E-101 through E-105." Leo signs from recalling what sort of enemies he's dealing with now.

Then flash images began to show up of the battles against three E-100 Series. And it began to form a picture of counting down from 0 to 2 here.

"I've taken out three, ZERO, Beta and now Gamma." Leo stated on those he fought in that order. "That leaves three others. And the last one I may know precisely where it's located." He stated from having a good enough memory to know where the last foe might be at. "I'll make my way there and take care of anything else along the way while finding that Egg-Keeper leader." Leo issue his plan on what course he needs to take if he wants to get through this.

We see a determine Leo leave the scene to continue looking and finding his target. And knowing that he will possibly see the rest of the E-100 Series along the way.

EGG CARRIER

LOCATION – AREA G

The scene opens to Leo having used the elevator to return to the Area G spot. Last time he went down the right that lead to the prison, so this time he'll go left.

"I should be entering a new area." Leo stated as he prepares himself on where to go. "About….now!?" He spoke before taking the next step forward.

When Leo went through the door, he entered a strange spot. It was a reservoir for the waste water of the Egg Carrier. But currently there was nothing in there for anything to swim in.

"This is the Water Tank area?" Leo addresses where he has found himself in. "It doesn't appear to be filled with fish from when it sank before?" The guy noticed the lack of fish that was suppose to be filled with.

Leo studies the area before having recall anything that seem important from his memory.

"My memory is fuzzy, but I think Gamma acquired his Laser Blaster here?" Leo held his chin to ponder what was important about this area section. "With that weapon, he had a better chance of beating the other E-100 Series robots." The guy recalls what events went down during some big event.

The area seem pretty much deserted, yet Leo tried to think about what could be done to change this area.

"Hmm, there's nothing much here, but if I did gain control of this place. Having something like this could prove important." Leo speculated his thoughts on what can best be done to this place.

This place handles waste water, so there might be something important to keep in mind. Namely in how to run a ship under such need of water to keep the systems from overheating and removing impurities.

"Hmmm, I'll need to improve myself on how to best handle operating this ship. When I take control. Still, what sort of skills will I need?" Leo

"BANG!" Without warning, another missile was fired from someplace. "BOOM!" Leo managed to dodge the attack by leaping above where the missile exploded where he stood.

"Hmph…" Leo managed to land on the ground before looking at something. "Well, it appears my plans will have to be put on hold?" The guy stated on knowing he has another fight to deal with.

"Target Is Cornered!" A male robotic voice was heard, as something was preparing to engage the lion man.

Soon something else leaped down from an entry spot for Leo to face against. It was a humanoid robot colored in blue and white. Possessed no neck, the head and torso coming together in an almost ellipsoid shape. Torso was blue with a wide and white vertical stribe down the middle, and possessed a head light with a hexagonal gray frame on the right side. Had gray mufflers surrounding the pelvis area. Had the number "103" painted in white on the right of the large vertical stripe and the left side of the rear. The head meanwhile was small and platform-like with a yellow shade and green cylindrical eyes. Also had a Jet Booster hovering behind the neck. Shoulders were black vertical cylinders. Attached to each of them were arms, which were long and designed with two joints; each forearms were designed as blue gun barrels. Upper arms were blue, while the parts between his upper arms and forearms were gray. Possessed two long and inverted legs with five points of articulation and large, black feet with two sharp toes and roller wheels on the heels. The upper sections of the legs in particular were blue while the rest of them were gray, except from the calves, which were thick and blue.

E-103 – DELTA

*E-103 Delta (Replica) Lv. 30*

The third E-100 Series robot created by Dr. Eggman during the Chaos incident to aid in the destruction of Station Square. Delta was a very advanced robot that was developed to advance weaponry. Tragically, however, after a mission failure, Delta was remodeled and banished to the Windy Valley. After being remodeled, he gain twin missile launchers and a Jet Booster. But was destroyed by E-102 Gamma.

"So it's Delta now…?" Leo expressed his tone from staring at one of the other E-100 Units that showed up. "I probably won't be able to convince you to give up before we fight?" Leo stated on what the answer was going to be here.

"Eliminate Target!" Delta declared, preparing to engage in battle.

"There's my answer." Leo shook his head, feeling this was expected.

"POW…POW…" Delta fires a few missile shots from it's launcher arms. "BAM…BAM…" Leo managed to evade the shots while running to keep a distance.

"Hmm, this one should be like facing Beta but a little more tougher like Gamma." Leo recognize that this opponent was not seemingly as challenging as the last boss. "Oh well…BEAST-KING FIST!" Leo shrug off the shoulders before charging his right fist to fire a lion head aura of energy.

"BAM!" That attack dealt damage to Delta that was unprepared.

"Alert – Damage Detected." Delta alerts from having been damage by a sudden attack. "Unit Engaging!" Delta proclaimed to immediately respond to the threat.

"POW-POW…" Delta fires more missiles while hovering off the ground for air advantage. "BAM-BAM…" The attacks blew up where Leo was at, but as the dust cleared he was…gone.

"SLASH!/BAM!" Then Leo dealt with a sword slash move by rushing to catch the bot off guard.

"Damage Account…Defense Down 60 Percent…" Delta alerted it's self on the next amount of damage.

"CHAOS SPEAR!" Leo roared as he waved his right hand to fire three bolts of energy.

"BAM!" That attack dealt damage to the surprise Delta as it yelped backwards.

"Alert – Defense 40 Percent!?" Delta issue from seeing after three attacks, his defense is very low.

"ARRrugh…/SLASH!" Leo then immediately slashed the target when it was distracted.

"BAM!?" That explosive impact caused Delta to skid backwards before trying to adjust it's self.

"20 Percent…" Delta exclaim from the shortage of the damage to know it was endanger. "POW-POW…" Then it fires missiles to try to deal any damage it could.

"HOWLING CRUSHER!" Leo announced when taking a deep breath here. "RARRRRRRR!" And released his powerful shockwave voice across the area.

"BOOM!" The attack destroyed the missiles and dealt heavy damage to Delta that couldn't protect its self.

"Alert…Alert…Damage Exceeded! Systems…" Delta exclaim as the body was shorting out and steam was emerging. "Shutting Down…?" The bot replied as it's voice was dropping slowly and the eyes faded…

"BOOM-BOOM, BOOM…" Soon miniature explosions were occurring, as Delta drops down on it's rear and fell backwards. "KABOOM!" Soon a larger explosion covered the entire bot, as Leo shielded his eyes. When the explosion subsided, there was nothing left of the fourth Boss Threat: Delta.

"And once more, another E-100 is defeated." Leo stated on having cleared another boss type foe in this battle. "It seems that it took about five good damage hits to finish Delta off. The same method from the game?" The lion man held his chin from pondering a theory that this victory was like how he did this when playing a Sonic Game and defeated this Delta boss round. "That leaves two left." The guy stated on how many should be around.

With everything done, Leo saw no need to remain in this area. The lion man prepares to head out but looks around once more.

"I hope that when I take control, maybe I can change this place to look a little less…villain theme." Leo expressed his thoughts from having viewed this entire area: mostly cause it gave bad vibes on how villains want their vessels to appear.

Now Leo reach the door that would exit the place, and took a deep breath to get his thoughts together.

"Let's go see where I end up next…" Leo declared to move ahead and find where his path leads.

EGG CARRIER

LOCATION – AREA G

"It should be about…here?" Leo stated as he left the Water Tank to walk down the hall and decided to take the elevator spot.

Leo decided to find the last E-100 Series robot that was mobile since the other type was probably in the place his memory recalls. After returning to the Egg Carrier Hall from the elevator ride, the lion man tried to figure out where anyone would hid. There were three doors he spotted that were together, and one of them he knew about.

"This place here, there can be no doubt. It's the Hot Shelter Entrance, no question about it!?" Leo exclaimed from having found an important spot to journey to his next destination.

Now before Leo enters, he spots something that was the farther door to the left side of three. Curiosity got the better of Leo as he soon enters to find a lab chamber station. Where mechanical arms were located in the main chamber with drills, blowtorches, claw hands, etc. They were all placed to perform some robotic tuning upgrades.

"This room…it's the very room where E-101 Beta was getting rebuilt?" Leo stated on having recall precisely what this room was.

Memories started to flood back as Leo recalls them. During a chance to play as Gamma, he witness Beta in this very room. And even for a robot, this sort of place might seem a bit extreme.

"After losing to the younger brother, Beta was obsolete but his spirit didn't give in to appeal to go along with his creator." Leo recalls what events took place when he played such a game with a story setting. "Somehow if I saw someone who was discarded and being rebuilt to be better but undergoing something like this, I don't know what to think?" Leo couldn't help but feel a bit complex over how one side would react to such treatments.

Then Leo kicked something and looked down to spot what might be robot leg and arm limbs.

"Somehow robots being physically dismembered and their old limbs discarded, if they watch such events unfold it would be torture." Leo muttered under his breath from thinking that this felt too sad for someone to watch.

The lion man began to look around while trying to piece together something. In the age of facilities like this room, it could create lots of units no different from a car assembly line. And sometimes improving old designs was the way of the future.

"Sign…I understand the importance of remodeling bots into more powerful beings, but maybe they could be another way in how to perform it." Leo signs from having tried to make sense of things present here. "I just need to find it, maybe in the ship's Library could help broaden my understand?" The guy knew that if anything could help understand robotics, it's a place that stores information.

Soon Leo was about to turn and leave this scene behind…or so he thought?

"POW!/Ding!" Leo immediately used his swords to deflect another incoming missile from behind. "BAM!" The missile destroyed a small portion where some scatter limb parts were.

"And so another has come?" Leo narrows his eyes at the entrance to the room.

"You will not escape!" A robotic male voice was heard addressing to Leo.

The fourth E-100 Series robot created by Dr. Eggman during the Chaos incident to aid in the destruction of Station Square. Epsilon was a very advanced robot that was developed to advance weaponry. Tragically, however, after a mission failure, Epsilon was remodeled and banished to the Red Mountain. After being remodeled, he was equipped with twin STINGER missile launchers on the arms, which were useful for taking out moving air targets. He also acquired a Jet Booster that granted him the ability to hover in midair. But he was destroyed by E-102 Gamma.

"Epsilon, so you appeared here too right were Dr. Eggman remodeled you and your brothers." Leo address the bot that came here to do battle at such a sight.

"Surrender or be destroy." Epsilon gave warning while preparing to engage in battle.

"And here we go once more." Leo signs from seeing this was going to happen.

"POW-POW-POW…" Epsilon fires missiles when the target was faraway from it. "BAM-BAM-BAM…" At such moments the missiles exploded but Leo was performing a running evasion maneuver to slip pass each shot.

"CHAOS SPEAR!" Leo announced as he summoned energy bolts from his right hand and thrown them forward to launch.

"BAM!" That attack managed to land a good hit against Epsilon.

"Damage…Continue assault…" Epsilon issue from what the bot suffered from the next damage blow.

"POW-POW…" Episoln fires more missiles to begin tracking a moving target.

"May as well get more practice in." Leo exclaimed from channeling energy around his left hand. "CHAOS SPEAR!" Leo roared out as he summons and throws more bolts at what's coming at him.

"BAM-BAM!" The bolts destroyed the incoming missiles "BAM!" The last one managed to deal damage to Epsilon

"Alert…40 Percent breach, 60 Percent Defense left." Epsilon stated on how much the robot can still fight.

"And again! CHAOS SPEAR!" Leo summons another round of bolts of energy he hurl off.

"BAM!" Another amount of damage was done before Epsilon could respond.

"40 Percent Remain…Gaining Higher Ground…" Epsilon alerted on the present condition the body has endured.

"POW-POW…" Epsilon began to open fire some missile shots, but…

"Not likely…CHAOS SPEAR!" Leo quickly responded to fire more bolts of energy.

"BAM-BAM…BAM…" The bolts destroyed not just the missiles but even dealt damage to Epsilon when the explosion was close to the bot.

"Danger…20 Percent…" Epsilon alerted its self of nearly reaching the limits of it's abilities. "Firing…" It prepares to open fire

"Here's something I wanted to try with perfect perception…" Leo takes the Beast Fang, and flips it's potion before raising his arm up. "HArrrrhh…" And then thrown his sword right for the bot.

"KABLAM!" The sword impacted the Stinger Launcher before it could fire and exploded to knock Epsilon off as steam was seen around the body.

"Damage….Unable to function…" Epsilon exclaim from this sudden breach as it's body was unable to stand the damage. "Unit…Shutting Down…" That's when it lost all feeling, the voice went down and the optics faded…

"BOOM-BOOM, BOOM…" Soon Epsilon felt on it's rear and then backside as miniature explosions covered it's entire body. "KABOOM!" Soon a huge explosions erupted from the bot as Leo held up his arm which was in response to catching his thrown sword back from the explosive recoil action. When the explosion cease, nothing remain of the fifth Boss Threat: Epsilon.

"I truly have started to feel stronger now, a battle like that wasn't as difficult." Leo stated from having a grip on his hands to test himself: the wounds were more then healed and he felt capable of competing against such low level Boss Threats. "Alright, I've almost finish now with just one more E-100 Unit left to find." Leo exclaimed from having defeated just about all the E-100 Series robots.

Soon Leo exits the room before the door closes. And then turns to face the other two doors nearby with one of them leading to a certain area.

"And that next bot is in Hot Shelter, so it won't be hard to locate him." Leo stated from staring at the door entrance.

As Leo approach the door to enter Hot Shelter, he looks back at where he came from. The lab that did such things to upgrade robots, it could be a good or a bad thing depending on how one treats their creations.

"I'll come back to handle things here when I have time." Leo addresses the robot lab chamber before going through the entrance to Hot Shelter.

EGG CARRIER

HOT SHELTER

The scene changes to where Leo finds himself entering a new area. A sub-deck that includes fish tanks and various industrial sectors. Even an in-house train that transports things: if it was in use, that would be robots and goods throughout the vessel. Leo inspects the area to carefully take note of things.

"There are certainly a lot of things here within Hot Shelter?" Leo stated on noticing what this place holds compared to the other spots he visited. "It's no wonder it was used for things and even has an in-house train to transport things to a ship this size." To him this was a major advancement of aircrafts having in-house trains to be compared to half a town or city structure inside this place.

Then Leo inspects the fish tanks careful, they seem capable of storing plenty of fish to help feed a crew.

And then memories about when Leo was fishing to get some sea creatures he saved and used for prepared meals: it dawn to him.

"Besides the various industrial sectors and train transportations, I could store plenty of caught fish creatures in these tanks and have them be prepared as meals. At least, that's something I recall sailors out on the ocean would do?" Leo suggest the potent idea on what would be useful: having fish tanks meant an endless supply of preparing one's meals. "My fishing skills and cooking skills should be plenty, and…" The guy was in deep thought on how this could be helpful on making preparations when…

At this moment, Leo heard a moving train with some supplies on it. With that noise it brought Leo back to reality from what he was thinking about.

"Best save the fish idea for later, I need to focus on why I'm here." Leo exclaim on shifting where his focus needs to be.

Leo continues his journey through Hot Shelter, remembering every detail of the path he needed to take. Oddly enough Leo thought there be robot enemies to face, but he has not encounter any at all.

"At last, it's here as I suspected!?" Leo proclaimed as he drops down into a strange area from having reach a vent spot.

When Leo landed, he found himself in an arena stage with something in the center. A robot colored in mainly purple and white, a head and torso tocming together in an almost ellipsoid shape. The head was small and platform-like with a yellow shade and green cylindrical eyes. However it was very different from other units in the E-100 Series. Retains the head and upper torso, these elements would rest on top of what mostly resembled a large stationary tower with a color scheme matching the. The tower form was round on the sides, with upper torso section being raised above a wide platform-like section with a black bottom. Had seven rocket turrets around the perimeter and had green lights in various places. Most of the bot rested upon a gray high-tech pillar. Had several pipes attached to the platform below the upper torso, all of which were bent downward.

-ENEMY IDENTIFIED-

E-105 – ZETA

*E-105 Zeta (Replica) Lv.40*

RANK: BOSS

POWER LEVEL: 4000

The fifth E-100 Series robot created by Dr. Eggman during the Chaos incident to aid in the destruction of Station Square. As part of the E-Series, Zeta was a very advanced robot that was developed to advance weaponry. Tragically, however, after a mission failure, Zeta was remodeled as a stationary defense unit in the engine room of the Egg Carrier. Zeta fires a volley of missiles from his turrets. But he was destroyed by E-102 Gamma.

"Intruder…Must Eliminate!" Zeta spoke with the same male robotic voice as the eyes flashed.

"And so begins my fight against another of the E-100 Series." Leo shook his head, seeing this was never getting any older. "Prepare yourself, Zeta!" Leo gets into a battle stance, ready for what's coming next.

Without warning, the seven turrets fired a volley of missiles on all sides, all heading for Leo. The lion man had to react, as he used his two swords to slice some of the incoming projectiles. And then tried to fire Chaos Spears at Zeta which destroyed two of it's turrets.

"Error…Turrets One and Two Disabled." Zeta reports the destruction of it's weaponry.

"If I'm right, there are suppose to be seven turrets. If I take them all out…" Leo theorize how one can defeat this copy of Zeta.

"Firing weapons!" Zeta declared as it's turrets were preparing ammunition.

"I better quickly get to the other side and disable more turrets!" Leo had to keep up the paste and focus on attacking the robot's main threats.

Leo had to quickly perform Brave Shield to block the next missile barrages after summoning the Hunter's Shield on the spot. After that, the lion man ran to get to another section of Zeta to try and attack the other five working turrets. Leo focused on taking a deep breath and fired a Howling Crusher that managed to destroy two more turrets.

"Alert! Turrets Three through Four Damage." Zeta alerts of the new damage to it's weapon function.

"Good, that leaves only three left!" Leo can see that things are progressing smoothly so far.

"Continue Attack Procedures!" Zeta declared as seeking missiles were fired without warning.

"Better keep moving, limiting the number of missiles is the only option to win!" Leo exclaim on how things are going at this speedy rate.

Zeta responds again with more missile seekers targeting Leo's position. The explosions across the arena force Leo to watch his footing and hear where the missile was coming to evade a blind spot. Leo managed to try something of knocking two missiles directly back at where they were fired. The result destroyed two more turrets of Zeta in the process.

"Five through Six Destroyed. One Turret Operational." Zeta reported the damage it has suffered through.

"Alright, one more and this battle is over." Leo declared from recalling how to win such a battle.

"All remaining missiles…Rapid Fire Section." Zeta announced it's next attack method.

"What?" Leo yelped a bit from hearing this announcement.

With a single turret left, Zeta was firing all missiles in that area. The lion man instantly had to rush the several number of missiles heading for him. Apparently Zeta was trying to win but Leo was not about to give up. Leo began to charge his fist during all the extra running, and saw his prime target.

"Gotta aim this right…" Leo issue as he stops to stare at the final turret. "BEAST-KING FIST!" After announcing this move, fired an energy lion head aura directly forth.

"BAM!" That attack destroyed the last turret, causing a short circuit buildup around Zeta's body.

"Alert…Systems Damage…" Zeta warns of the newest damage occurring all over. "All systems reaching critical…shutdown commencing…" Those were the last words spoken before it's optics went dark with a drop in it's speech function.

"BOOM-BOOM, BOOM…" Zeta's body was starting to show miniature explosions all over the top section before a bright flash of light came from above. "KABOOM!" Then the top head portion weas blown completely off before the entire tower structure completely broke apart. Leo studied this to know that the end for the sixth Boss Threat: Zeta

"Pant…somehow that one seemed a little more harder then when I fought the others? Probably because this one had more firepower compared to the others that had just two missile launcher arms." Leo pants a bit while stating the difficult was not like the other E-100s battles. "Fortunately speed was key here. And at least now, it's over." He wiped the sweat off the forehead to feel relieved.

Taking a moment, Leo began to count up the battles he's been in ever since he got aboard the Egg Carrier. If this was a Sonic game to fight all the E-100 Robot series, it be a real challenge.

"ZERO, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Epsilon, and Zeta…" Leo went down speaking the names of those boss foes. "They were all copies, so that should be all of them I defeated. Yet…?" The guy was stating until he stopped himself.

The more Leo process things about having taken down six boss level enemies, the more it felt strange. Sure ZERO was supposedly stronger base on being the Final Boss in Amy Rose's Story from that game, but something didn't feel right about the order.

"I get the distinct feeling that something is missing?" Leo scratched his chin, trying to put together the pieces that escape him. "Whatever the case, now I need to focus on finding that special Egg-Keeper leader." Leo decided to put that on hold and focus on why he's here.

Now Leo takes the route that would lead him out of Hot Shelter, and where to go next…is anyone's guess.

EGG CARRIER

LOCATION – AREA D

"I've finally come across the main controls area." Leo stated on gone through to into the Bridge and arrive at the entrance. "Should be beyond this point." The guy stated from focusing on what to do now.

Leo goes into a door after it opens, and finally enters a highly technological room with windshields on the front and the main entrance in the back. There's even a large chair for the captain of the Egg Carrier which was technologically-themed and throne-like in appearance.

"I've finally arrived…the Captain's Room!?" Leo states on having arrived at the place who commands the warship would be in.

Looking around the place, Leo recalls memories of whenever he saw this place. Though when staring at the Captain's Seat, it felt somewhat base on a Dr. Eggman feel vibe.

"I suppose in every space battleship, there's always a need for the captain's chair. But I think this could use a change of style?" Leo stated on what he thinks about this feeling, but the chair's style…well not his cup of tea.

While Leo inspects the area, he did come across something on the Captain's Chair. Some control buttons and dials for someone with intellect can use.

"Hmmm, these controls…I believe would transform the Egg Carrier. Though I think they're different from where the actual switch was? But that's not what I'm here for…" Leo recognize what he found but his focus was elsewhere. "I need to find that leader Egg Keeper, wherever it is?"

This was a tough pickle, Leo decided to seat in the chair, and tried to see if he can use it. With his intellect rose up, he should have some understanding.

"If I know Dr. Eggman, he should have some system control to give commands through his ship?" Leo was trying to theorize a means of how if one was a captain, he have a system to give orders and know what's going on with a robot crew. "What about something to locate his robots?" The guy ponders if there was something to locate specific robot types.

Soon Leo managed to stumble across a setting on the chair's controls that displayed a holographic image. It read the only active robot signals that seem…gathered?

"Hmmm? That's strange? The system reads the fewest robots that are active are all located…here?" Leo points at the blinking dot signals were located just outside the ship. "I guess I'm off towards the Center Dome…" The guy addresses where he needs to go to find his answers.

EGG CARRIER

LOCATION – AREA A

After taking time to leave the Bridge, Leo made it outside on the Deck. And after a bit of walking, came across a tall cylinder-shaped glass structure with the ship's engine inside it. The top of it serves as a giant round arena. There are also small platforms with cannons and black boxes around its perimeter. Leo knew that he arrived at Center Dome where the robot signal was strongest.

"Hmmm, I've arrived but I don't see anything?" Leo narrows his eyes, trying to figure out what's going on. "Could this possibly be…" A sudden thought came to realization that this was…

"Intruder Found!" A robot male voice was heard announcing this statement. "Prepare the cannons!" Then gave another order to begin the attack.

Leo suddenly spotted some enemies that were position around the cannons. These bots bear many key similarities to the other units in the E-100 Series, including an egg-shaped body and flat head. Their main torsos are blue-gray with white and round shoulder joints and an orange stripe around their torsos' lower half. On the front of their torsos they have a gray vertical row with a red light on top of it. Instead of legs, they have a gray hover engine with yellow and black hazard stripes on the bottom of the torsos. They also have long, spear-like arms with sharp, white ends and red, narrow forearm plating. Beneath their head plates, which have an orange stripe around them, they have a flat gray head with a pair of cyan eyes.

-ENEMY IDENTIFIED-

EGG-KEEPER

*Egg-Keeper Lv.10*

A mass-produced E-100 Series model created by Dr. Eggman. The Egg Keepers are capable of levitation. They can also detach their heads and send them flying through midair life a UFO. While in the air, their heads can emit a tractor beam-like field that can paralyze anyone who enters it.

"Ah trap…It figures…" Leo signs to shake his head, he should have expected such a cliché thing like this to happen.

"Seize Intruder!" The Egg-Keepers declared on seeing Leo on the spot.

"Hmmm, so one of them is the Hidden Boss I must find, but which?" Leo scratch his chin to figure out which was the target he's looking for.

"Cannons Operational – Firing!" The Egg-Keepers announced as they began to have their optics flash from some connection process.

That's when the cannons around Center Dome began to open fire by the Egg-Keepers. Leo instantly had to save the thinking for later while evading the shots. "BOOM-BOOM, BOOM!" The explosions were cutting it close, but Leo had to keep himself from getting hit.

"If memory serves me right, these bots were just the minions one came across of Dr. Eggman's forces. So they won't be as strong as those E-100 Series." Leo spoke during the run, trying to form a plan of attack and keeping an eye out for cannon shots.

"BOOM-BOOM!" Leo yelps to dodge more explosive shots, but under the smokescreen the Egg-Keepers perform a coordination attempt. Some of the Egg-Keepers detach their heads to fly like UFOs while emitting tractor beam-like fields. The lion man had to duck, dodge and evade being paralyzed and watch out for any cannons fired at him.

"This is strange, they seem to be coordinating unlike the mindless minions that see a target and just attack?" Leo narrow his eyes at having watch how these bots perform, and find it strange by their cooperative attack methods. "Which means, one of them is the Lead Egg-Keeper." Leo theorized it, the only way mindless grunt bots could pull off such complex actions is if they are receiving orders of who's leading them.

Leo continues to use his evading and defending skills

"It's time I settle this battle." Leo declared from deciding to really unleash his might. "I never tried a multiple wide-range attack when surrounded on all sides. But here goes…" Leo held his hands above his head while seemingly charging chaos energy. "CHAOS SPEARS!" Leo roared out this attack with all his mighty power of determination.

That's when Leo managed to unleash more then three bolts of energy, it was almost up to eighteen. "BAM-BAM-BAM, BAM-BAM-BAM…." The attacks rain down on all sides which caused the Egg-Keepers to panic before getting impacted and destroyed. There was a lot of smokescreen, and Leo was exhaling from having to force himself to unleash so much for a wide-spread but it was worth the price. When the smoke began to clear, all that remain were some scrap metals of Egg Keepers and disable cannons. But as soon as a minute passed, it brought Leo's full attention.

"Hmmm, something is strange?" Leo raise an eyebrow, sensing there was something not right. "I have yet to receive the notice to announce the results?" Whenever he wins a battle, he gets an update about it but there was nothing.

This was puzzling to Leo, ever since he awoken in this world he's gotten use to how the System lets him know of his progress. And to suddenly notice a difference, that brings forth a question.

"The only possible answer might be that if they were not strong, the level announcement would not show or…" Leo ponders about that in any RPG Game, it high level players beat very low level foes they don't get as much experience. "The second method would be…that the Quest has not ended?" Leo began theorizing another possible lead to some conclusion.

Then Leo began to inspect the area to see if there was something missing that was overlooked. That while he defeated all the enemies, the thought about one still being active was the clear possibility of what's happening.

"Hmmm, what do we have here?" Leo raised an eyebrow when he saw something that was strange.

Upon inspecting the eastern side of Center Dome, among the wrecked Egg Keepers, one of them was crawling. Apparently this one hid behind another bot to prevent it's destruction, but it suffered damage that sparks were seen.

"So one Egg-Keeper survived?" Leo stated as he used the Scouter to begin scanning this bot with the System's help.

*Egg-Keeper (Leader)*

Hidden Reward: When becoming more intelligent then any regular Egg-Keepers, managed to obtain more control of the Egg Carrier. Once defeated, then all rights will be transfer to the winner.

"I see, so your one of those special weak enemies that if one deals enough damage, gets a huge boast of either Experience or Rewards?" Leo stated on recognizing what sort of target he's come across: a lucky find too. "You must have tried to flea while seeking what could protect you but not before receiving some damage." Leo could tell what this bot's story is from where it was position.

"Unit has mission. Repair Egg Carrier and return to creator for service." Lead Egg-Keeper issue what it's assign mission was. "Creator's creations, make more robots…use to fix and repair Egg Carrier." It issued what the task was to help Dr. Eggman.

"I see, so you survived aboard the Egg Carrier?" Leo stated on where this bot came from.

"Negative…was aboard Egg Carrier 2." Lead Egg-Keeper revealed a more puzzling truth.

"What?" Leo raised an eyebrow, not having expected this answer.

"When it went down, unit found old carrier. Unit lead others to bring materials of Egg Carrier 2 aboard. Began repair work." Lead Egg-Keeper explains what events took place to repair one warship with materials from an even more wrecked ship. "But were sent away by storm waves and vessel sat in water." It revealed what took place that the Egg Carrier was swallowed by the sea.

"I see, that was during Perfect Chaos when it almost flooded the entire world." Leo firmly nods to agree: after Perfect Chaos appeared both Egg Carriers were never reported so it's likely they got swept by the sea.

"There were 100 Egg-Keepers, each one worked endless hours to repair ship." Lead Egg-Keeper reveals a surprise of how many of them there original were. "Most were destroyed by predator sea life or strong currents. Others damage from Perfect Chaos attack long ago, so many that deactivate would donate bodies to create new units of creator's crew that perished." The bot explains what was developing and how the robots managed to adjust.

"So that's it, you created near perfect replicates of the E-100 Series." Leo exclaim from realizing why he fought copied versions of the E-100 Robots cause they were made by materials from Egg-Keeper bots.

"Correct, the ship is 99% complete, we were preparing for takeoff but did not expect an unknown error in calculation." Lead Egg-Keeper stated on the progress was going well until a problem occurred.

"Namely when I showed up." Leo concludes how everything fits in. "And now you're the only one left." Leo stated from preparing to finish the damage bot.

"Incorrect." Lead Egg-Keeper objected to that claim.

"What?" Leo raised an eyebrow, slightly puzzled now.

"Unit maybe the last Egg-Keeper, but unit will not surrender." Lead Egg-Keeper expressed a final statement of last stand. "Releasing secret weapon…" It announced this as it's eyes were blinking in rapid paste.

"Secret weapon, what are you doing?" Leo replied confused while noticing the bot was up to something.

"Transfer of special code complete." Lead Egg-Keeper issued as it's eyes finished it's blinking process which was a download of code. "All ship's controls are pass-down to the last defense. Mission…oooooverrr…." The bot revealed what happened before it's optics began to go dark and the voice became slower…

Soon the Egg-Keeper cease movement before dropping down to the ground. Then a bright light flashed from the body, as Leo shielded himself. "KABLAM!" That robot suddenly exploded without warning, leaving nothing behind as Leo watch this play out.

"Self-destruct? And he was the last one." Leo stated on realizing that now all the once active Egg-Keepers were destroyed. "But what he said doesn't sit well with me, he transferred special code. Could that be about the special reward code?...But to who…?" Leo held his chin to ponder deeply about what he heard and tried to make sense of this.

Suddenly, something was heard above Leo's position that it just went pass without looking back. The body frame was black and different features that resemble the E-100 Series but it had no feet.

"That's…not possible? But that was definitely…" Leo's widen eyes never blinked after what he saw pass over him.

Leo immediately began rushed after what he saw, and approached a different arena on the front of the ship. This bot bears a strong resemblance to E-101 Beta's previous form in terms of body shape and color scheme, but has been heavily modified into an airborne fighting machine. Has a round black torso with a large white vertical stripe, a large muffler surrounding the pelvic area, and "101" printed in white on the left side. Has a black platform-like head with a large grey shade and a single green "eye" on its otherwise-featureless face that moves from side-to-side. With the leg features removed, the lower torso got replaced with a rudder-like black and white tail, and two thin grey and green-colored thrusters on the lower torso, granting it impressive aerial maneuverability. Arms are also equipped with large shield-like gauntlets with spike. Has powerful twin energy cannon weapons mounted underneath each gauntlet, replacing the old twin missile launchers the original counterpart had.

-ENEMY IDENTIFIED-

E-101 – MK. II

*E-101 Mk II (Replica) Lv.55*

RANK: BOSS

POWER LEVEL: 5500

When E-101 Beta was allowed to stay on the Egg Carrier despite his failures, Dr. Eggman remade him into E-101 Mark II. Following its upgrade, E-101 Mark II became a powerhouse of a fighting machine in almost every way over its previous form and was the strongest E-Series robot of its time. E-101 Mark II possessed jets and a tail-like rudder that granted it flight and super speed, enough to leave afterimages in its wake. It was also much more swift and agile than its previous form, being able to dodge missiles at extreme speed. Some of its new armaments included the ability to launch several guided missiles. Also had an advanced tracking system in its single green eye. Additionally, it was equipped with energy cannons that could fire yellow beams powerful enough to cause massive explosions upon impact and be charged for even greater power. Besides weapon capabilities, E-101 Mark II could create rainbow-colored force-fields that could deflect projectiles and even be used offensively by ramming it into opponents. It was also capable of teleportation for avoiding attacks. Additionally, it had large and durable spiky shield-like gauntlets which could knock away missiles by backhanding them and be used for high-speed charging attacks. E-101 Mark II is utterly silent and shows no signs of sentience. By comparison, E-101 Mark II showed even less individuality than its un-upgraded form, E-101 Beta, who displayed a desire to follow Eggman despite failing him. Regardless, it is fiercely dedicated to disposing its enemies, making it quite ruthless, as shown when it chose to attack Gamma on the brink of its defeat, an effort that resulted in its own destruction.

Hidden Note: Contains the Hidden Code from the Egg-Keeper Leader, so once it's destroyed then the winner will gain a special reward: Ownership of the Egg Carrier.

"So they truly made every copy including what the remodel version of Beta became." Leo stated as he became extra defensive on facing a stronger opponent. "And it was the Final Boss in playing as Gamma. Which means…" The lion man felt cautious, knowing this won't be an easy fight.

"Target Register. Primary Objective…" declared with a deep male robotic voice. "Eliminate!" It announced that it shall finish off the intruder.

Soon MK II began to hover around the field while watching Leo very carefully. The lion man pulled up his Beast Fang weapon for defense. But the next moment that happened was that when Leo lunge to attack, he went through a black after-image.

"What!?" Leo yelps that his attack didn't hit the real thing.

Then without warning, Mk II suddenly appeared instantly behind the lion man. Then a strange rainbow-colored force-field appeared around the bot and advanced towards Leo to ram him head-on. Leo quickly summoned his Hunter Shield for protection. "POW!" The force was powerful enough to force Leo back skidding the floor before reaching the edge.

"Grrrrrr….It's as I thought, he's on a completely different level to the others?" Leo lets loose a low growl after having witness a huge difference compared to the other E-100 Series. "If I had to say that if ZERO was the Final Boss for Amy, hers would have been a somewhat easier stage compared to this foe!" Leo exclaim a comparison of the two E-100 Series: ZERO was a heavy bulk brawler but Mk II is a speedy advance arsenal weapon.

"Preparing attack wave…." Mk II announced it's next move set.

"If memory serves me right, the moves he did were Phantom Shadow Move and Charge after? Next might be…" Leo was trying to figure out what pattern this bot was going for.

"Launch Guiding Missiles…" Mk II declared forth it's next attack.

Wasn't long before Mk II launches a series of missiles acting like seekers to home in on the opponent. Leo had to evade them, but saw Mk II perform Charge after creating another rainbow-colored force field to ram the lion man. Leo had his hands full to evade and fire Chaos Spears to destroy the missiles. "BAM!" At that time Mk II's backside was not protected so it suffered minor damage.

"Damage detected, fire Guiding Missiles." Mk II issues before switching to another attack motion.

"Again!?" Leo raise an eyebrow, seeing this attack again.

Leo watched as the enemy fired his series of missiles that he evaded and blew up portions. But from the smokescreen, Mk II unleashed another missile attack. Leo quickly charged his right hand to fire his Beast-King Fist move. But when it made contact, the bot instantly vanished from sight.

"Hugh!?" Leo was confused, but didn't see where the enemy reappeared until… "BAM-BAM, BAM!?/Grrrr…." Leo was blasted by more missiles from behind that made him yelp. "He used Phantom Shadow Move to dodge that attack when launching his own?" The guy was literally shock that this foe was moving so fast.

"Preparing Bomb Gun Attack!" Mk II issue forth another attack.

That's when Mk II appeared above the arena, Leo suddenly saw the bot charging up an attack. The robot fires a series of yellow laser beams from a high altitude. "BOOM…BOOM…BOOM…" The lasers pack enough power to cause explosions upon impact. Leo had to perform Brave Shield as the shield endured but the force was felt.

"Pant-pant….as expected, a Final Boss even in a separate story chapter is still very tough." Leo pants a bit from having managed to just get through that with minor lose of health.

"Target's life signs dropping…Engage further attacks." Mk II issue to continue the attack assault.

Then Mk II appeared in a shadowy flash before Leo, as it's red optic laser pinpointed the lion man. Then another series of missiles were fired, forcing Leo on the defense to use his shield. And then Mk II performs it's Crash attack with another rainbow-colored force field ram move.

"RAARrrr…BEAST KING SLASH!" Leo roared as he charges energy through the fist into his sword to launch a sword beam.

"SLASH!/BAM!" Leo managed to deal damage to the backside of the enemy

"Damaged Detected – Reconfiguring Data On Target…." Mk II exclaim as the small sparks began to fad out from the recent damage.

Leo decided to keep his distance, as Mk II performed that Phantom Shadow Move and disappeared as a black after-image. Leo had to keep his wits by listening and having his eyes find anything strange. That's when Mk II was above the arena and charging up for another Bomb Gun Attack move. Only this time instantly of just one or two, the enemy was firing six rounds. Those six explosions nearly got Leo but when a seventh explosive shot was fired really did a number.

"Arrrugh!?" Leo was tossed across the arena, as he struggled to get up to his feet and used one of his swords to push himself up.

"Fire Guiding Missiles." Mk II appeared on sight to begin another attack.

Soon a series of missiles were fired while Mk II surrounds in a rainbow-colored force-field to perform another Charge move. Leo barely at time to slash the missiles that explode close range before using his Beast Fang to block the ram attack. The result knocked the lion man across the field and his weapon separated.

"Grrrarr…" As Leo rolled across the field, he saw Mk II stop briefly… "One Chance…..Max Level….HAaaaahh…" Leo struggled to take an extra big breath as fast as possible. "HOWLING CRUSHER!...RROOOOARRRRRR!" He announced the name before blasting an extra strong shockwave

"KABLAM!" The attack managed to hit the enemy before it's force-field could stop it, and dealt extra damage.

"Warning!? Daamge breach?" Mk II announced as more blue sparks shorted out "BAM-BAM, BAM…/Systems Failure…" Much of Mk II was suffering from short circuits and certain miniature explosions. After a while it's vibrating body shook to the point it dropped to the ground.

"Pant-pant…wiat, this seems familiar?" Leo was exhaling from having felt spent, until he realized this scene was familiar to him. "Hugh?" Then flashes occurred of when Gamma first defeated Mk II and the latter played dead before attacking…

"Final Resolve – Engage!" Mk II announced as it tried to force it's power reserves into it's weapons.

"POW!" At that moment, Mk II hovered upwards to unleash a final action of it's Bomb Gun Attack move.

"BRAVE SHIELD!/KABLAM!/BREAK!/ARRrughhh!?" Leo reacted to block the attack with it's Hunter Shield which it's endurance completely was destroyed and knock the lion man back.

"All systems….overloading….shutting…dooooownn…?" Mk II reacted as a robot going haywire as it dropped on the drop. "BOOM-BOOM, BOOM…" Soon lights appeared above the body as explosions occurred before… "KABOOM!" A larger explosion sphere erupted that force Leo to shield his eyes. When the explosion subsided, there was hardly any remains of the Final Boss Threat: Mk II.

"Pant….pant….who knew, to pull off such a move required so much energy into a single use?" Leo was exhaling from having gone way overboard now. "And yet if I didn't remember a final struggle, I might have suffered just as what I saw when Gamma fought Mk II." Leo remembered what happen in the game, and managed to avoid the same playout. "Sign…still in the end, worth it to have benefit the rewards." He signs from some moment of relief on such victory on defeating not just the last E-100 Series, but a Hidden Boss at that.

We see Leo slowly moving himself away from the battle sight, and heading towards one of the doors into the Egg Carrier.

"The Study seemed like the right place, and there is possibly information. And I need that the most. Cough-cough…" Leo exclaim before letting out a few loose coughs.

Leo stops himself from trying to not lose balance now. That battle took a lot out of him, but he needed a place to rest. And there was still much to do now that he's become the owner of the Egg Carrier.

"After all, I don't know how to fly this thing. So what better place to go then a place for learning." Leo stated with a light smile on what he should do to pass the time.

Now Leo enters the door that allowed him to enter the warship, as the scene went dark now…

The scene opens to a hexagonal living room with a glass table and rotating figures of planets. A wall bed that could dropped down from the wall from a bottom near what appears to be an AC Filter generator. Right now Leo was sitting around the center crescent table, reviewing through a number of books. While he did this, there were pop-up windows that showed him of new things he unlocked now.

"Create an AI, as in Artificial Intelligence?" Leo held his chin to ponder what he was given just now is rare. "So then, I can create Robots of my own?" Leo muttered under his breath with a surprise response.

The more Leo thought about it, it seems that because of his higher Intellect and Wisdom, unlocked a major feat. Combined with the MAX Passive Skills, certain areas that require some understanding can be done now. And right now, the matter of creating an AI for robot assistants or fighters is open to the lion man.

"Hmmm, if I remember right? There were two types when creating certain AIs, one was to make certain robots function between daily or make them more human-like." Leo began to think what he knows about AI functions he recalls hearing about. "And I believe another case was an AI that helped run one's own system network separated base on tech-ware. They could perform things through wireless networks and get access to things if programmed right." Leo was in deep thought about this: if an AI could run a whole network of systems, then it could run a whole ship and robot drones. "Wait, there's something else? The holographic image program I came across. I wonder if…creating a virtual Avatar could hold an AI?" Leo recalled another idea that he almost forgot about existed until now.

This intrigued Leo very much even more so then creating a robot body or having a simple AI of code work a designated system structure.

"System, can it be possible to transfer yourself and create an AI Companion for me?" Leo asked if the System can do something which sounds crazy when heard out loud.

That's when something happened that surprised Leo, as a holographic projection screen appeared from the table. Then words began to appear with a message on it.

Leo was surprised, but it seems like the System ability he has connected Eggman's own system to help in this process. On the screen were empty AIs but one file label 'Leo's Development System' was a clue for the lion man about what he has which helped provide RPG level ups, etc. It was very surprising that such a thing could also be available as a selection choice.

"Let me see, this is the System that has helped me since my awakening even though I never understood how it came to be? So maybe having it access network and stay in communication would be better." Leo held his left cheek, trying to formula a procedure on how to best make this work. "Upload System AI into an Avatar function for this ship." He gave the next order while preparing the process.

"A power source?" Leo replied surprise, apparently this data transfer needs a lot more power then he thought. "Wait, I may have something." The guy immediately pulled out just the item that contains energy.

Then something pops up from below the ground by the table which acts like a deposit tube. After all the batteries were sent, the tube sank down. Now a holographic display was present with new instructions.

"Hmmm? Unknown capability, that must mean it excels more then other AIs? The System was only blunt about my own development as some Ultimate Lifeform. But I'm different from others, I can grow. But the System it's self despite it's advances, is not alive." Leo tries to figure out this complexing puzzle on what he should do to make this developing subject be like. "Even with all the training this month, it has been lonely. I need at least a friend I can communicate with. The System has been with me, yes, but it's not much for conversation." Leo spoke out the only sort problem of his was not having anyone else around, always alone and apparently it felt like he was talking to himself when contacting the System. "Sign…I hope this works. Designation – Genius-Level Intellect & Self Growth Interaction." Leo signs before he spoke of what designation he wants the never AI Avatar to be when the System is integrated.

"All that's left is creating an image for the new AI which should house the Systems functions while having some lifelike function." Leo studies the next thing as a holographic image of a digital body appeared: it's no different from what is used in health class on studying the biology of different species. "But what form should I use? I think one thing comes to mind. Let's see if it'll work." The guy was thinking a bit before having come to terms of a choice.

Now Leo began to use some form of construction method on the digital body layout. He made the form smaller, a little slim, and gave animal features to what it look-like with ears and tail. Next step was applying color texture for the skin, hair, eyes, and even a set of clothing. Once Leo had finished the basic principles of creating a digital CGI character's avatar, the next words popped up with a 'FINISH' label. And once Leo press that button, data of '1' and '0' numbers began to flow around the screen…

Beginning – Final Upload Of AI Data

That's when a holo-projection appeared next to Leo while digital lines and number codes were being put together and particles form a skin layer followed by color frame. When it was over, something stood that was only about 4 feet tall near Leo's knee-joint. It was a brown anthropomorphic female type lynx. The ends of the long triangular ears are black, and the face features cheek tufts on the muzzle and a stripe along the bridge of the black nose as well as one under each of the green eyes. Has medium-long black hair with splits at the ends that wears down, and a tail. For attire wardrobe, wears a purple sleeveless dress with black and white split tails, decorated with a white trim and a small golden brooch with a purple gem. Wears black pants, black and white gloves with purple cuffs, and black shoes that has white cuffs with a small golden brooch with a purple gem, white toes and black soles.

"I don't believe it, it's actual her…?" Leo was taken aback by having made an avatar and the form was something he's familiar with. "Um, System?" Leo spoke to see, if the procedure was successful or not.

"Present…" The Lynx girl spoke as her eyes blinked in response upon being active: the sudden action made Leo flinch a bit. "Greetings User, what would you like to do?" She asked in a very polite way to Leo.

"Ugh, are you functioning?" Leo raise an eyebrow, curious if everything worked out.

"Yes, my systems appear to be functioning perfectly." The lynx girl replied while giving the new body a feel of movement for sensation. "I do sense a strange feeling? It's curious, I still possess a link to check your System function, but with more…in your words, freely?" She stated from sounding curious of other sensations that one didn't have when just as a simple blank computer program.

"Yes, I see?" Leo slowly nods his head: apparently this was a success. "You know, calling you System just doesn't fit your new…appearance?" Leo felt like he was not talking to just some machine when it's resembling some person before him.

"Then…will user care to change that and give this form a name?" The Lynx girl request what she should be called then.

"First, I'm Leo…Leo The Lion." Leo introduce himself as what his name is which is his identity now. "And I think the perfect name for you just might be…" Leo took a moment before he finally revealed his choice. "Nicole…Nicole the Holo-Lynx." He issue on what this lynx girl should be called.

"Confirmed – New Name received. I am Nicole the Holo-Lynx." The Lynx Girl replied from having process what Leo would like her to be known as: Nicole. "Attention – You Gain a Reward for this Achievement." She issued from revealing another surprise during this moment after being named.

Then Nicole projected something like a flat digital screen which displayed information for Leo.

"Um, yes….can you determine if this ship can fly." Leo raise an eyebrow to ponder if this ship can move: after all, the lead Egg-Keeper mention it was about ready.

"A moment please." After that, Nicole disappeared as pink holographic light particles scatter: leaving Leo alone to think about what's happen.

"It's amazing, but I truly created my own version of Nicole." Leo was in deep thought about what he's managed to make: Nicole was a character of a different Sonic series but was amount a popular cast since the days about the Freedom Fighters TV series and comics. "According to the files I read that Dr. Eggman stored here, there doesn't appear to be a Freedom Fighters group that exist in this world. So it's more in tune to the game, I wonder…" The guy knew that chances are slim, but he wanted to make certain the world he awoke into did not already have a version of Nicole in it.

"All systems confirm, Egg Carrier is ready to deploy." Nicole suddenly reappeared after a minute pass which surprised Leo: the holo-lynx girl was very quick in such electrical tech field.

"Oh, I see. Well then, can you direct it towards Central City?" Leo request where he like the ship to go.

"Destination Uploaded…The ship will take off." Nicole replied in having done a direct link to give the order for take off. "Do you perhaps wish for us to be in Stealth Mode?" Nicole turns to ask Leo if he wants such a setting.

"This place has a stealth function?" Leo raise an eyebrow, he didn't think the Egg Carrier could have such a feature knowing Dr. Eggman likes to show off his tech.

"I took the liberty to prepare such a thing. Shall I activate it?" Nicole gave a friendly smile in wishing if that was Leo's choice.

"Um, yes…" Leo slowly nods from thinking that suggestion would be fine: after all, no need to cause a panic when they get to their destination. "Thank you for such consideration, Nicole." Leo replied with a small smile from seeing someone be so helpful that he almost didn't think about such a thing.

"Hmm-hmm…" At that moment, Leo took notice that Nicole actual let off a little friendly laughter and expressed a happy expression. "Your very welcome Leo. When you are ready, we can discuss changes to the vessel to make it more conformable to your liking." The way Nicole was talking, it was more so that after just a few minutes she was acting…more alive.

"Um, I like that very much, thanks…" Leo slightly nods his head to agree to what Nicole offered him.

"Then come join me in the Captain's Chair when you feel ready, I'll help redesign it while waiting for your arrival." Now Nicole disappeared once again, leaving Leo to have sometime to go over what happened.

"Somehow, I never imagine that the former System could take on the lifelike style so quickly, and of Nicole to boot?" Leo scratch his head from being surprised by such rapid development: perhaps his chosen words self-growth played a part in it. "It makes me feel better knowing that now I have someone to carry a conversation." He comments about having some company on his journey in a new world. "Perhaps, I may take this time to maybe design some robot helpers around the ship. After all, Nicole can't do everything." Leo ponders another idea to pass the time, he's got the skills so he may put them to good use now.

Leo began to head out of the room to prepare himself on what he was gonna be doing from here on out. For now, the lion man will have plenty of new things to do now that he's got his own warship for travels. Outside, the Egg Carrier takes off as it hovers off the water surface, and flies into the open skies. But further away from the sight, there was something watching everything that transpire. A familiar Gun Beetle model watched everything and recorded it all through its lens.

ELSEWHERE

UNKOWN GUN LOCATION

The scene reveals a dark place where a door opens to let in some light. Walking through the lit door was some human male. Only this guy was apparently a combatant that wore ballistic combat helmet with solid white visor concealing the identity of the eyes. The standard appearance was a black uniform with a ballistic vest. The combat helmet had a mark with a 'G' in the center which represents an organization. But near a large office desk, it had a 'GUN' label but with metal bars in an X-shape on the word. And there was a big office chair that faced large monitors with some camera view of areas being watched.

"Sir, GUN Soldier Unit 626 reporting in. We just received report from one of the spy drones…it's at GUN Facility 543." The man saluted after addressing who he was while giving a report of a recent disturbance.

"And…what is there to report?" A strange male voice was heard, sounding bored but felt the urge to pay attention.

"A strange energy surge was detected, and there's more…" The GUN Soldier stated while bringing up a small pad to begin typing into it. "It caught a glimpse of something while scanning what was there." The man explains that something major was discovered when scanning the island: then push a transmit button for the pad's data to be seen.

Soon a large monitor behind the stranger's desk with the chair looking at what the screen displayed. It was all the things displaying Leo the Lion boarding the Egg Carrier, fighting against Eggman Robots, and the warship taking off. Then a split screen shows the lion man but on the other screen revealed a match DNA belonging to a previous form under the name Project-X.

"Oh-ho, this seems VERY interesting." The eyes were seen from the shadows, they were blue eyes and seem to perk the mystery man's attention. "Tell me, ugh…what's your name?" The guy asked the one who brought in the report data, but the name escaped him.

"Um…Milo?" The GUN Soldier replied a bit stump to mention how to address the solider.

"Alright Mile or whatever, listen closely, do you know who we are." The man in the shadows asked while placing his fingers together to tap on his lap.

"We're GUN?" Milo replied on who they are and what their organization is about.

"Yes, but do you see what's different?" The mystery man stated on what makes them different from GUN.

"Um, that big X placed in the middle?" Milo replied a bit puzzled when seeing that on the GUN logo, is a metallic X-shape.

"YES!" The big man in the shadows replied with a big grin. "And do you know why that is?" He turns around while still in the shadows to push the question further.

"Um, is it to look…cool?" Milo replied a bit skeptical on how he sees how the 'X' plays into this.

"No, it's because that's who we 'actual' are….like a flip coin, there's a light side…and a dark side." The big man describes the major matter for someone simple to understand where he's coming from. "And that's what we are: XGUN!" He waved out his big arms when having proudly said their group name.

"X…GUN?" Milo replied even more confused about what their GUN unit was even with the X in play.

"Yes, the X is silent, and we're not just the Global United of Nations. No…" The big man spoke with a sly grin when going into details of the genius behind the brand name. "We're the X Global Underworld Network!" He reveals the name behind XGUN and what it stands for. "GUN is seen in the light, and we…are the shadows. The kind that does things in the dark that must be done even if it means bending the law."

"Um, do we really do that? Mr. Jack Hoarder sir?" Milo asked a bit puzzled by this whole discussion.

Then something was seen when the large chair turns to reveal something getting up out of it to appear near the soldier. A very large man in stature and very overweight both in body and in cheeks disproportionately larger than the rest of the face. He has pink bob hair and blue eyes. He wears a long purple jacket over a light purple buttoned shirt with a double triangular cut, a white shirt, a pink tie, brown trousers and black boots with small heels. His legs are much smaller than the rest of his body.

"Please, in this line of business…I go by the name: BIG JACK!" The big man declared with the attitude of a big businessman. "Cause in business, you gotta be big…REAL BIG…to get to the top!" He issued about how to get far in life, think big...

Soon Big Jack picked up a frame that showed what seem to be a pie shop called 'Jacky's Pie Shop' on it.

"My family started a pie business, I took over from my father once it grew to become a company. And then when GUN came looking for some talent in running an organization I built, I happily took the job." Big Jack proudly boasted about his success and new carrier life. "Now I'm both the King of Pie, and Big Shot of this dark underworld."

"I….see?" Milo replied from feeling like that was much to take in.

"But right now our focus should be on this…and focus on Project X." Big Jack points to the big monitors that displayed Leo's fighting. "His appearance has changed, but the reports say it was a failure." The guy discusses the issue about what the reports mention about this creature. "That don't look a failure to me. So, you know what's gonna be done?"

"Um…" Milo was a bit unsure how to answer that…

"We're gonna capture this fella, and learn how he survived. After all, it may prove useful in on how one can make the ultimate being that has extended life." Big Jack press his fingers together with an evil sly grin on his face.

"But sir, how can we catch this creature?" Milo asked a bit worried and concern about such a task. "He's apparently taken over one of Doctor Eggman's old warships? He could be anywhere?" From what the report showed, going after Project X may prove difficult to track.

"Ah, you know Milo it's almost cute how you can play dumb. But seriously, it's not helping your career. And besides…" Big Jack pretends to kid around but was blunt and straight to the annoyed point. "To catch a fish, you need perfect bait. And what's the perfect thing to lure chaos empower lifeforms?" Big Jack showed a confident grin when having mention a perfect tactic to catch such a creature.

Now Big Jack goes over to a nearby vault in a wall, and then began to input a code sequence. Once done, the vault door opens to reveal something inside that was being safe guarded. A palm-sized brilliant cut gem in a green color.

"A Chaos Emerald!?" Milo replied surprise to see such a rare jewel that's said to house such great power.

"That's right, everybody wants them. They are great power sources." Big Jack declared with a greedy expression across the face. "I'm gonna send the orders to have our GUN boys be station for where this little beauty can shine." As Big Jack looks deeply at the emerald he saw his own wicked expression. "After all, every priceless jewel is meant to be seen, especially if one wants to shop for it, say…in a Jewelry Store." The guy had an evil smirk upon having said such a thing.

Now Big Jack turns to look at the monitors when a word for some organization popped up. It was label as HIGH-TECH with images of advance motion gears around the metallic letters.

"What are you doing now sir?" Milo asked puzzled by this action.

"Just acquiring a little insurance from another side business partner I have connections with. What, never seen someone handle three different work orders at once?" Big Jack remarked about he's taking a few extra steps and is using other connections to do it. "Well live and learn, cause for someone like this, you need to require a little extra something." The big guy boast from feeling extra ready now insure the capture of Project-X.

Soon Big Jack went to a purchase page, and then a digital print of some kind of robotic object was seen. The man smirks from seeing what he's calling insurance, will be something to give the odds in his favor. The scene goes dark here of whatever future threats will be unleashed will be revealed in due time…

NOTES: Much Boss Battle events relate to foes fought in Sonic Adventure DX game.

Nicole The Holo-Lynx is based on an existing character from the Sonic The Hedgehog TV Show and Sonic Archie comic series. She will represent as the System that Reincarnated Protagonist have during their progress of level ups and quest, etc.

*Decided to try to update the level-up/reward systems to help make it be a little easier. Might be another future update, but unclear of when to do that.

Big Jack Hoarder is an OC based around the villain Jack Horner from 'Puss In Boots: The Last Wish' film. The last name difference carries a similar feel in pronouncing it.

Well now, this was certainly filled with old memories of the past with a twist. In the next chapter, Leo's new ship arrives at Central City and suddenly detects the presence of a Chaos Emerald. It's within a Jewelry Store, but to avoid being notice will go in disguise and purchase the item. But then trouble blooms when GUN makes a move to attack Leo. The lion man ends up fighting for his own survival, but something jams his connection to Leo's ship so he can't return. And then things take a turn when an old but newly upgraded 3rd version of the GUN Military Truck comes in and chases after Leo.
