Thinking about changing the name of the title seeing as this has gone so far away from my original concept. With that being said, I'm happy with the direction it's going. Just need to come up with a new title. Ideas welcomed.
"Ok. I'm here. How bad is it?" Jun asked for an update, walking into a dark room with what looked like a tube with blue water and a girl with long hair floating inside.
The water was so blue that the girl looked blue; you couldn't tell what color her hair was or anything.
"We added some more sedation medication; she's back to where and how she should be." Kazuma answered.
"Good…" Jun sighed.
"However…" Kazuma started, causing Jun to snap open his eyes to look at him.
"What?" Jun asked, demanding an answer.
Next to Chihiro, Kazuma knew the girl better than anyone.
"If you want to keep her like this until the time is right, sedation medication would have to be added to the tank every other day—if not every day. Her progression is going faster than planned; she's not going to make until the right time because you can't add the sedation medication every day. If you add the sedation medication every day, it will kill her—no ifs, ands, or buts. At the rate she's progressing, I'd say she'll be ready by late New Year's Night—at the latest. That's the latest she'll be able to hold out before she has to be removed. With that timeframe in mind, she'll have to be sedated every four days. And as you know; if things continue to change or speed up, things with the girl are going to have to change. And you both know damn well what's going to have to change. When or if those change, her PTSD and shyness will be greater. Ultimately, you can release her in the next few days and still continue on with the prophecy with Tohru and the other cursed members—minus Kisa and Hiro because of their ages. However, you know she'd have to be involved as well. Not only that, but if she's released this early, her PTSD and shyness would be far too overwhelming for her. That might make it impossible for her to go on with the prophecy, destroying all you've worked for. She'd also lose her virginity a lot sooner—and to who knows who because they all want a virgin. That's what the dreams are for—and they'll be realistic dreams, as you know. Clearly, you know the latest she has to stay asleep is New Year's Night. I'd say the earliest she could wake up and be released would be on Christmas Night. You two need to figure something out amongst the two of you. Just remember, your crystal ball will tell you everything about both (and any other) days she could be released." Kazuma explained.
"Thank you. I apologize; this can't be easy for you either." Jun apologized to Kazuma.
"No, it's not. And watching all of the prophecy isn't easy either. But for her, it must be done." Kazuma stated, sighing a little.
"Yes, it must. I know it seems like I'm doing this for me, but I'm really not. I'm doing it for Chihiro and Sophia and Hatori and the girl—and even the rest of the family. I can't stand Akito—I never could. And the fact that she/he has to be involved, sickens and pisses me off. I don't know how you can stand it—knowing what has to be done." Jun stated.
"I know… You were always a great friend to Chihiro and were fantastic with Sophia. You helped her so, so much when Chihiro had to go away. As I've stated already: it's not easy, but at least she'll be alive—and safe with Hatori. I know he'll keep her safe—for the most part. I know she'll be hurt, but she won't die as long as she's with him. I know he craves her; he just doesn't know it yet. It's why he's so hesitant with Tohru. As much as he "loves" her, he doesn't love her like he knows, deep down, he loves another. That's just how I think of it. She'll be alive, safe, and happy." Kazuma replied, watching the girl in the tube.
"Like Kyo, you loved Sophia and this girl like they were your own." Chihiro spoke, watching his reincarnated love.
"Yes, very much so. I may not have been Sophia's biological father, but I loved her as my own—just as I loved her mother. But they're both gone now, and I must move on. It's one of the reasons I found this girl; I knew the day she was born who she was—who she meant to be. It just sucks she has to have a crap part of all this. Well, I should be headed out. You two have a lot to think about. See you later." Kazuma replied before heading out.
"He's having such a hard time with this—more than he's letting on." Chihiro stated, watching the closed door.
"Yes. But it'll all be worth it in the end. We just have to remember it like that. Soon, you'll be with your Sophia, Hatori with be with her, Kazuma will have his adopted daughter back, Tohru will have a new friend, and they'll all belong to me." Jun spoke, looking at Chihiro.
"Yes, of course. What are we going to do about Akito?" Chihiro calmly agreed before asking, looking at Jun.
"There's not a whole lot we can do. All we can do is keep an eye on her/him. We only do something if it comes down to drastic measures. So much has already changed—and I'm sure more will change as well. I knew there'd be hiccups down the road, but nothing like this. We can't afford anymore huge changes. These changes make a huge impact on her; she can't be released any earlier than Christmas. Three more months. That all we have to last at least. Three months and a week if we're lucky. Let's go see what we must do." Jun explained before walking to his watching room.
"What are the others up to?" Chihiro asked once they entered the room.
"We'll watch them after we figure things out. But they should be at Tohru's surprise now." Jun answered, pulling out his crystal ball and started watching that.
Fifteen Minutes Later:
"Ok…" Jun sighed, putting the crystal ball away.
"What's the plan?" Chihiro stoically asked, watching Jun.
"We plan for four different days: New Year's Day Night, New Year's Eve Night, Christmas Night, or halfway between Christmas Night and New Year's Day in the afternoon. I will let you know times when we get closer to them. But those are the days and times with the better outcomes for her and her situations." Jun answered Chihiro as calmly as possible; still, Chihiro could see and hear the worry on Jun's face and his voice.
"How will the ritual that's supposed to happen on New Year's Evening supposed to happen if she needs to be released early?" Chihiro asked, concerned.
"She wasn't supposed to be released until her birthday in February and the original plan was New Year's Day. If she's released and wakes New Year's Eve Night, we do the final step of Tohru's part in the morning and afternoon. If she's released and wakes New Year's Day Night, we do the final step New Year's Eve afternoon through the evening. We have two options if she's released and wakes Christmas Night. One: as long as Hatori doesn't take her virginity before New Year's (which I don't think will be a problem), we'll be able to continue on the normal day. Two: we can continue with the day as planned whether he takes her virginity or not if she's involved. Then there are several options for the day halfway between Christmas and New Year's: like Christmas night, as long as Hatori doesn't take her virginity before New Year's, we'll be able to go on as normal. Two: she can be involved if I say so. Three: if we choose not to have her involved, but for some reason Hatori takes her virginity before New Year's, she'll be forced to be involved—or have more health issues. But they won't be horrible health issues. Four is a consequence: if Hatori takes her virginity before New Year's, and we try to keep her out of everything, she'll be kidnapped by an unknown group of men and will be beaten and repeatedly raped. Knowing Hatori, he'll want to take things slow and get to know her before there's any kind of sex. Yes, he'll have urges, but he won't act on them. And yes, while he will still be able to fuck Tohru all he wants until the girl is ready, he won't; he will not hurt the girl in any way, shape, or form—even if she understands the family's dynamics. I only told you all the options because you have a right to know—and because we both know Hatori. The last thing I'll say is that some things with Hatori will have to change from now until then; I may need to call upon you. Just be ready at any given moment. I'd tell you more about the girl, but you know the rules; I can't tell you anymore than I already have. Anymore about her, and things will change and be worse for her." Jun explained what he could.
"Yes, of course. And what of the deaths? Do you know who's going to die? Can you say?" Chihiro asked, watching Jun.
"Yes, I know, but no, I cannot say. However, you know one of them—well, you know both of them, but you know the answer to who one of them is. One of them will be erased from everyone's memories and existence and the other will not. But enough of all that; everything will work out one way or another. There will always be someone watching over the girl to make sure she stays the way she is until it's time, and we'll periodically check up on her. Let's just sit, relax, eat some popcorn or nachos and watch what Tohru and the others are up to." Jun answered and then instructed; he could see Chihiro's stress rising.
"Yes, I agree. I apologize." Chihiro apologized.
"No need to apologize; I get it. With that said, we need to be patient. Patience is a virtue, remember? You taught me that." Jun calmly told his best friend of forever.
"Yes, I know. Everything will work out and come together in the end. Thank you." Chihiro replied, breathing deeply.
"It's no problem. Besides, you owe you; I owe you big time for everything you've done for me. I certainly owe you so much more than you're asking for. You're sure you don't want anything else?" Jun replied, stated, and asked.
"Yes, I'm sure. I currently do not want or need anything. The only things I want are to be with my Sophia and for this girl to be safe with Hatori—and to be his. I know that no all, but some of the guys will have at least a time or two with her. Just as I know Tohru, Rin, and Kagura will play around with her. But as long as she's safe with Hatori and happy, I'm happy. I'm thrilled, knowing I'll be able to be with my Sophia in roughly a year. And I'm happy as long as you're happy. However, if I think of anything else, I promise to let you know—whether I'm on Earth or buried six feet under and in Heaven. You just be ready at any moments notice." Chihiro sincerely told Jun, ending in a joke.
"I wouldn't expect any less." Jun responded with a smile.
"Shall we watch your family?" Chihiro asked, bowing a little.
"Quit that; they're your family as well. You're my brother; you always have been and always will be." Jun stated as they sat in some chairs and started watching Tohru and the others.
They arrived at Tohru's surprise about fifteen minutes ago…
