Frozen Heart Part 8

Chapter 71: Kasim: Alive

Kasim was barely alive. That was how much the sorrow was clinging to his heart. He could not do anything for his family now. They were all dead. He was alone without anyone to love or care fore.

He had failed as a prince. He had failed as a brother. He had failed as a good son, for he could not protect his parents.

How was Kasim still alive and not dead of shame yet?

The truth lay in what the people of Alomit did not see and had not noticed, for other forces was at play besides the dark ones that had infiltrated the palace and the kingdom.

He had been fallen towards the ground. He had been neither scared nor angry. He was just surprised that he was falling, that he barely registered the fact that he was falling towards his end. He could not fly, for he was not a flying carpet, nor was he of the ancient Djinn. He was a human that had been falling towards the ground, and he neither welcomed death nor accepted it, he had not even been scared falling towards the ground.

He had been shocked and surprised, but had not felt fear. When he finally came to himself, he was no longer falling and he could not see the palace. He was inside somewhere, and by the movements of the place he was in, he guessed he was inside some kind of ship.

There was not much place so it probably was a one man or a two-person ship that could travel as fast as the lightning back and forward between kingdoms.

Kasim slowly got up and stood on uncertain legs as he leaned himself against the wall in the little cabin. He saw the door leading outside, went up a flight of stairs and he stood outside as a cold breeze met him and large raindrops fell upon him, but he found it refreshing.

Was he out to sea? How did he get there?

Kasim turned around and saw a man near the ships steering wheel. Kasim approached the helm of the ship wanting to meet the person who was currently steering the ship.

"Excuse me sir. How did I get onboard this ship?"

"Ah, he is awake again!" the mysterious man said and clapped his hands together in delight over seeing Kasim awake and alive.

Kasim asked again, "How did I get here?"

"You are here because you are meant to be here the!" man said and was smiling at him.

Kasim asked, "Who are you?"

The man answered, "I am one who has already lost it all, but there is still some things that I need to do before I can find death. I once thought that I was meant to find death, that whore, but apparently, that was not my time yet. I still have some things to do while I am alive."

"What is your name?" Kasim asked him.

"My name is Malaki, a name from a distant past, that no one can remember anymore, but maybe my story is written somewhere."

How did I survive?" Kasim asked.

"You fell from the palace like a bird whose wing never worked. You fell towards the ground but before you hit it, I was there and I whispered words and slowed your fall."

Kasim took two steps away from him.

"You are some kind of magician."

"Yes, a sorcerer. I am connected to strange powers beyond most human understanding, but here I am and still alive after all these years. I think it may be centuries I have lived."

Kasim smiled and said, "I think I know what is going on here. You are trying to pull a prank on me."

Malaki said, "I know about the creature that murdered your family."

Kasim´s smile withered from his face as he went silent once again.

Malaki said, "The creature that has attacked your family is an ancient creature who wants to unleash hell in this world of man. Should the creature called Zuldrak succeed, this world of man will come to an end and the world of the Djinn will come to be once again."

Kasim said, "Enough of this nonsense, the Djinn is just a child's fairytale."

"If that is so. How could you hang a woman and that woman is still alive. How can I still be alive, heck how are you are alive Kasim, prince of Tehomia?"

Kasim looked down on his feet and Malaki started laughing.

"You see Kasim you are meant to do great things, but now you are in a dangerous position."

"What do you mean?"

"You see Kasim, you are the prince, but you are said to be cursed and some people are going to go far in defending themselves if they believe you are a threat to them. There has after all been a lot of dark magic associated with you and your family."

"My family never asked for any of this!"

"I know that Kasim, but the truth of the matter is that you and your family was targets before anyone of you were even born."

Kasim´s eyes went wide open as he heard this.

"What do you mean?" he asked afraid to know the answer.

"Beneath your ancestral home, lays a temple and city that used to be the great kingdom of the Djinn. Zerah the woman you have hunted, who does the bidding of Zuldrak is currently down in those tunnels waiting."

Kasim was about to say something when Malaki said, "You may as well throw those thoughts of yours out Kasim. You are not strong enough and you do not have the right tool to confront Zerah."

"She murdered my family!"

"She is close to losing her humanity Kasim. She is turning into a "Djinn of old." You can do nothing about that right now. Only weapons of darkness can harm the Djinn and kill them, if that fails they can be sealed away again with strong magic. For now there is no way for you to win a confrontation and the faster you realize that, the easier it gets for us to make a plan."

"A plan?"

"Yes, Kasim. I want Zuldrak dead, as much as you do, but we cannot defeat him as of yet."

"Then what must we do then?"

"We are heading for the Kingdom Of Corona. I believe that the royal family has something that we can use to defeat Djinn, a shadow dagger."

Kasim looked at Malaki and asked, "How do you know all of this, how do you know so much?"

"That is something that will remain my own secret for now. Let us just say that every time Zuldrak does something, I get the feeling of what it is he does, what Zuldrak plans to do."

"You are connected to the Djinn are you not?"

Malaki said, "In some ways I am and in some ways I am not."

Kasim said, "In any case I would like to thank you for saving my life."

"You are welcome prince Kasim."

"So we are going to go to the Kingdom of Corona and convince the royal family there to give us the shadow dagger that can be used to kill Djinn then head home and confront Zerah and Zuldrak?"

"Almost prince of Tehomia. Zuldrak´s lair is in the mountains of Arendelle. He is trying to find five Zeals to unlock the Djinn prison, he has one already so now he lacks four of the Zeals, and one of them seems to be in the Kingdom of Corona."

"What are the history behind these Zeals?"

"A long time ago they were used to seal the Djinn of from our world and they got scattered around the five kingdoms. Now one of them is in Corona, where we are headed as well."

"Can they be destroyed?"

"Not by ordinary means as a great deal of magic resides within them."

"Shadow weapons?"

"It is possible that they can, but it is possible however it is unknown to me if the destruction of a Zeal unlocks the prison immediately or not, therefore I would not risk destroying them, or try to do it."

"So no throwing Zeals like that into lava."

"No lava!"

"Okay, that is good to know."

The rain started to ease up and gave way to a clear blue sky and Kasim asked, "If we manage to defeat this Zuldrak, what am I to do? Will my kingdom accept me back with open arms?"

"I think so prince Kasim. Tell them the truth about the magic that you encountered and be aware that even though you may feel alone now with the loss of you family. There may be a pretty woman out there for you as well; you are a prince after all."

Kasim was smiling at that and nodded to Malaki as he looked out on the horizon, thinking about how he was going to ask the royal family of Corona for the shadow dagger.

He hoped that they was not going to see him as insane and touched by darkness, but he hoped they would see him as a man of honor who wanted to protect as many people as possible.

Now he was on a quest to find and defeat Zuldrak before these Djinn could hurt even more people.

That reminded him about something and he turned to Malaki and asked, "Zerah is one of the puppets that Zuldrak is using, but does Zuldrak use other agents?"

"There was Hans of the Southern Isles, but he is dead now and he is using another agent called Miko. I am afraid he is also manipulating the former Queen called Elsa and her sister Anna and a woman called Nell. There is another agent, but I cannot get a sense of whom this agent is. I believe this agent is a sorcerer as well that is good at blocking my own magic, so I cannot pry into this agent´s mind and being, but I believe it is someone close to Elsa."

"Elsa had received an invitation to come to my birthday, to make her kingdom and the sultanate become closer allies, but all of that has been for nothing."

"I myself transported Elsa to the Northern Kingdom. After that, she went straight for "The Black Box."

Kasim looked at Malaki and he asked him. "How is this Elsa like?"

"She is beautiful, confused and dangerous. I believe Zuldrak is manipulating her. I would wish there was more that could be done for her, but she has literally killed her own kingdom and killed adults and children alike with her magic."

"Because of Zuldraks manipulations?"

"Yes, but also because she wanted to. Kasim if you ever get the chance, then take Elsa out so she is no longer a danger to ordinary people."

Kasim nodded, as he knew the danger of the situation. Wielders of magic could be very dangerous, and he was prepared to do what he could to protect his lands from that danger. Protecting his people became a top priority.

He was going to stop Zuldrak, no matter the cost; he was ready to give up his own life so his people could live in peace.

This Zuldrak had to die no matter what the cost to his own life and wellbeing was going to be. He would protect his people to the last blood drop he had in him and as he looked over the horizon, his thoughts returned to Zerah.

She was out there, and she had helped murder his family. He was going to make sure that she was sent from this world on a permanent basis, but first he had to retrieve the shadow dagger.

He did not know if this was going to be a task that was easier said than done, but he would do his best and succeed or die trying.

This was the promise he made his family and this oath he was going to keep.

Chapter 72: Elsa: The Return Of The Ice Queen

Elsa was sitting alone in the apartment in deep thoughts. Her thoughts were concentrated on her husband, as she was sure that he was the one who had taken Zanna's life. It made her wonder if he was speaking the truth, when he said he had done something that was not his fault.

For all she knew, he could be lying about it all. She was however sure that he loved her and that made a smile appear on her lips, as she took another sip of water.

It had helped telling him about all the things, she had been through, like a heavy burden being lifted off her back, and she felt able to breathe and to think about, what she was going to do next.

She was joined with Tom in matrimony, and she did not have any regret about him. He had taken her virginity, and she was comfortable with that fact, because that signaled the end of another life of hers that was no more.

Children of royalty was like a fine wine. Whenever a peace pact was to be formed, a noble child married another, and it was expected that royal women were pure and innocent, in other words, had not been sleeping with other people, and had her virginity intact.

She remembered a story she had read, many years ago. The story was about a king in a foreign land, who had a daughter and no sons. It happened that the rival king wanted to go to war against him, but as the first king did not command a huge army, he offered a marriage pact to his rival. The rival´s son would be married to his daughter. The rival accepted such initiative, and his son was sent to meet the princess. The princess however had fallen in love with a young carpenter, and she silently left the palace in the middle of the night to be with him.

This resulted in her losing her virginity. The princess was saddened to hear that she was forced to be married, and in her anger, she led it slip that there was a carpenter she loved, and the prince was furious. The prince returned to his father and upon telling him what had happened the two kingdoms were at war. The king was killed as an arrow pierced his heart. The prince himself got hold of the carpenter and had him nailed to a cross, and he had that cross, thrown into the water, with the carpenter´s face head first down into the watery depths of a grave. The princess was raped multiple times, and was publicly humiliated. When asked if anyone wanted to buy her, many had said, that they rather wanted to eat their own shit, then to touch such a filthy human being.

So in short, it was a bad idea for a royal female child to lose her virginity. However, Elsa was not a Queen anymore. She had burned her home, destroyed her city, and had chosen to live in "The Black Box." Whatever she had been, she was no longer, and as she had given herself to Tom, the last remnant of the Queen had been destroyed, and Elsa was reborn as the wife of a former knight, now a blacksmith, and having her home in "The Black Box."

She had not noticed the amount of yelling and noise that came from outside the apartment at first, but it seemed to get louder and louder every second passing by.

She was about to open the door to take a peek outside to see what was going on, when the door opened and Tom came in and closed it again. He seemed to be very pale and he was sweating, as if he had run a marathon, but Elsa was quite sure he had just been walking home.

Elsa said, "Tom, what is it, what has happened?"

"I said some words that I should not have said, but there were no other words I could have used."

"What happened at the meeting?"

"They had become suspicious of us, all the top leaders of the syndicate. They are some very sick bastards."

Elsa went over to him with her cup of water.

Tom took a small sip and gave it back. Elsa could see he was trying his best to think of something to say, but he did not seem to want to make eye contact with her. It gave her a bad feeling.

She said, "Tom, just tell me from the beginning what happened."

Tom went over to the wall, started pacing back and forward, avoiding Elsa´s gaze, and then he said, "They had become suspicious of the fact that you and I were so good at working together, and so fast in making weapons, that they wanted to know how long until the order was done. "

"That is a good thing right?"

"No, as they found out that we were so good at working together and got married even, they wanted to know things about you."

Elsa´s heart sank in her chest, and she felt as if she could not breathe as she nervously rubbed her hands against each other without noticing it.

"They asked me questions Elsa and I could either chose to lie to their face or tell them, all the things about you that you told me. I told them that they could ask you about such things, because it was out of the question that I was going to sell my wife out."

She wanted to kiss him right there but she could see there were something more going on.

"They told me that I was showing them disrespect, by not answering their questions, and it did not go so well."

Elsa noticed that his nose seemed broken, and now she saw that someone had hit him near his eyes, and that was going to leave a mark.

"Oh, my love what did they do to you?"

She went over to him and hugged him, and tried to kiss him, but he did not want to make eye contact with her.

"Why do you not look at me?"

Tom hugged her close to his body and she felt his lips against hers, and he hugged her close again, with his arms around her, almost as if he was trying to shield her from the infernal noise outside.

"Elsa."

"What is it Tom?"

"They wanted to do just what I told them to do. They want to speak with you, but…"

"What is it?"

"They got so angry with me, that they decided to threaten us both. If you do not meet those monsters then they will stop any supply of metal that we have. We do not have another job, or contacts within this building, and if they reroute all the materials from our work to others, it will not be long before we end up becoming expendable."

Elsa was at a loss for words, and only managed to ask, "Is there anything else they want from me?"

"They want us to show them that we obey them. If we do, there is a chance we get to keep our job, but they require something of you."

"What is it?"

"They want you to come to the twenty-fifth floor for an audience with them, but they demand that you come barefoot and as naked as the day you were born."

Elsa´s mind refused to work. She was trying to process what he had just said. They wanted her to go to them naked.

Tom continued: "They want you to shave of all of your hair on the top of your head as well, and they have alerted all the citizens of "The Black Box," that they are in for a naked surprise."

Elsa felt her heart beat stronger against her chest, she heard distance voices, and her eyes became unfocused.

She felt like she was falling in a deep dark eternal void. She saw shadows surrounding her and voices that spoke out of context.

"What do you want in return?"

"It must be kept a secret."

"Do not forget who helped you. If you betray me…"

"The child is an insurance."

"The king will know if you betray me."

She could not make sense of it but she felt something within her, something that brought her back to conscience, back into the arms of her husband.

"Elsa! What is happening?"

The blue flame surrounded her body once again. It filled her soul, her heart, her mind and filled her with rage.

Tom had moved away from her with his eyes wide open, as Elsa stood before him the flame attached to her like a shield. Elsa did not say anything, for she felt like someone or something else, now were the flame surrounded her body. She did not even feel it, when Tom touched her; he discovered he was not being burned. The only thing she felt was his lips against hers, and the flame disappeared.

However, the confidence within herself did not.

"What was that?" he asked with a low voice.

"My inner strength, they want to see me naked and without my clothes so be it. Will you love me more or less for doing as they asked?"

"We belong together you and me to the very end, regardless what you can do with your powers."

Elsa smiled, but this one was one of the monarch that she had been raised to be. Her mind felt clear, like she was filled with a simple purpose, to tell the syndicate, they could go take their orders and stick it up where the sun did not shine.

She had no plan to do it naked, but decided to do so anyway, so the leaders of the syndicate could see just how tough she was.

She took the sack off and her shoes as well, and stood naked as the day she came in to the world, and as she stood there, she could feel the flame inside of herself, filling her with pure courage. She was going to show them all who the real boss was.

The infernal noise coming from outside of the door from men chanting: "Come out you naked bitch!" made Elsa change her mind once again, and using her powers, her snow queen outfit crept up and down her body, and the snow queen was back.

Putting her hair in a braid, she went over to Tom and kissed him, and felt his tongue against hers, and she was happy.

Elsa said, "Come my love, we cannot disappoint the syndicate now can we?"

They both went over to the door and opened it, and they saw that many people had surrounded their apartment.

All the yelling seemed to vaporize as she stood before them. She was beautiful with her blond hair, the ice dress, and high stilettos made out of ice. She was standing tall, with her head held high, as she started walking alongside Tom to the headquarters of the syndicate.

All those surrounding her had expected to see a white slim woman go through the long streets floor by floor naked, and vulnerable, but she could feel their thoughts now. They were thinking that she was not just an ordinary woman, and seeing her in a dress, that no amount of fine silks could reduplicate, they understood that there was something different about her.

She could feel the flame alive inside of her, warming her belly and the heat went all the way up through her body, her heart feeling calmer than ever as she slowly and with the pride shinning out of her, made her way up the stairs towards the twenty-fifth floor.

She looked at them, and those who had met up to chant things like, "Show me your pussy, can I fuck that ass of yours, do you want to know how to ride a real man?" all looked away.

They could feel there was something about her eyes, something cold, smart and deadly.

Everyone was silent, as the people all saw her beauty, and did not move unless they looked away, so she could not to read their minds.

She could not do that, but Elsa knew that they understood that there was something different about her. Something they could not understand.

Elsa saw a man among the crowd that seemed to be shaking a lot. He did no doubt have one of those deceases that made people shake, or he had seen the horror of war, Elsa could not tell. He was the only one who looked her straight in the eyes, and for a moment, Elsa felt vulnerable.

There was something about the shaking man, that told her that he was smarter then he looked, but Elsa saw him straight in the eyes, and pretended that he was the smallest man in the world, insignificant even.

Pride was a weapon, and she had been a queen, but she had never forgotten her lessons of how to rule people and rule them with an iron fist. She could be the queen of "The Black Box," if she wanted to. Elsa knew that the flame within her kept her powerful and prideful, all side effects of her powers, and something told her that when the flame were gone, she would be the one she had always been, the Elsa her husband knew so well.

They arrived at the twenty-fifth floor, Elsa saw a man that was waiting outside the door, and then she said, "Open it up!"

Her voice was like a whip, painful and harsh and it made the man immediately do what he had been told to do. Her anger was beginning to boil beneath the surface, and if she were not careful, the blue flame would be visible up and down her body.

Aldo, Dominic, Leslie and Edgar, was all waiting in the room and as she showed herself, she could feel that they were surprised. It was not because they had told her to come to them naked and bald, but they could feel that there was something about Elsa, that was dangerous.

They could feel it in the atmosphere in the room as she stood before them. They could feel that she was some kind of commander, which gave orders and not obeyed them. Dominick was sitting on a chair looking stupid, with his mouth half-open; Edgar was blinking hard with his eyes as if he was unsure what Elsa, the most beautiful woman he had ever seen, was going to do. Leslie gazed upon her fascinated with her, and in her mind, Leslie imagined how it would feel like to have that blond woman between her thighs.

Aldo was the only one who did not reveal what he was thinking, but Elsa knew, that all four of them understood, that she was a highborn and did not give a shit about what people told her to do. They knew she was a cold and smart woman, and an excellent opponent.

Elsa was disgusted by all four of them, and drawing strength from her inner flame, she immediately started to talk with a low cold voice.

"How dare you?"

Aldo managed to say "What," when Elsa let them have it.

"HOW DARE YOU THREATEN ME AND MY HUSBAND AND DEMAND FOR ME TO SHOW UP NAKED?"

"We…"

"HOW DARE YOU THINK YOU ARE BETTER THEN ME?"

"We just wanted…"

"I DO NOT CARE WHAT YOU WANTED!"

The temperature in the room was going down.

"YOU THINK YOU, COMMAND ME? I AM THE ONE WHO GIVES ORDERS AROUND HERE! DO YOU GUY´S UNDERSTAND THAT?"

"Do you think you can threaten us?"

"I DO NOT MAKE VEILED THREATS. IF I HEAR ANOTHER WORD OUT OF YOUR CUNT MOUTH, I WILL KILL YOU!"

Dominic made the mistake of saying: "You dare…?" and an icicle sat in his neck, with blood fussing out of him, and he fell as long as he was, down on the floor and lay dead before Elsa´s feet.

It had come from her hand, the other syndicate members got up, Aldo´s eyes were wide opened, and he asked: "What are you?"

"I CANNOT REMEMBER I TOLD YOU TO SAY A GODDAMN THING!"

Elsa calmed down again and with a low voice she said: "You will be supplying us with the metal we want, if you do not I kill all of you, because I am done being a sweet person to everyone here. From now on, you all do what I say and if you do not, I will have you all crucified. There will be new metal waiting for us in our shop, and you people will send your men to kill our competitors. From now on if people want something made they have it made at our shop, do you understand that?"

She was not even waiting for an answer, but she and Tom walked back to their apartment, and Elsa pushed Tom down on the bed, while she got on top of him and started riding him with a fiery passion. It was not long before she felt his seed inside of her, as she climaxed on top of him, and fell on top of him.

They both gazed into each other's eyes, and Elsa felt the flame within her disappear, as she had calmed down again. As their tongues met, Elsa wondered if the syndicate had understood her message.

They found many kilos of metal awaiting them at their workstation the next morning.

Elsa knew that by revealing her powers, it would not be long before someone in "Icilia," especially the new king would learn of the mysterious witch that lived inside of "The Black Box," but she did not worry about any of this.

The flame gave her power and appeared when she was angry, she felt ready to take on an entire army and in that instance, and she remembered something. She remembered that the voice had told her to unleash her true potential, and now she knew how to do that.

Chapter 73: Tom: The List

He could hardly believe his own eyes, when he saw the metal stacked up in front of his shop, he could not believe this was happening, but it was.

Elsa had scared the syndicate top members, and had been given everything she had requested, and this meant that from now on, there were only one blacksmith in the entire complex who could make things for people that needed them. He had only thought that they would be given all the metal, but he had not thought about what this meant for all the other blacksmiths.

The streets was filled with blood today, and bodies lay spread out here and there, as those who had been making their own tools with metal, had been killed for being "Expendable." They were no longer on the life list, and when the syndicate soldiers confiscated their metal, all those who had refused and accepted alike, all of them had been cut down where they stood. Men, women and children, it did not matter for the syndicate.

The only thing that seemed to matter to them now was his beloved wife Elsa. She had scared them, he knew that, but he started to wonder what the consequences of her revealing her powers would be. He could still not believe the amount of destruction his wife was capable of doing, and as they worked at their station, Tom could see eyes upon them.

Tom hated the feeling that he did not have the ability to remain unnoticed and unknown to most, but now everyone seemed to know who they were. He could imagine that they were trying to get a good look at Elsa, to know how she looked like, the witch, who was capable of killing people with her powers, as easy as it was for someone to blink with their eyes.

They were aware that, there were a new player in "The Black Box," one who had powers and was not afraid to use them, and in the following working hours, Tom and Elsa found themselves sought out. It was Elsa they were interested in talking to, and Tom always had his sword ready at his side, should the worst thing happen.

People came to Elsa to meet her and talk with her, and giving her gifts, all "Items of Pleasure." She got many wheels of cheese´s, butter, caviar, lobsters, rare meat from cows that was massaged by hand, Alcoholic wine and beer, honey, earth with real grass attached to it, so she could remember the feeling of green grass underneath her naked feet. She was given candles, matches, milk, potatoes, dried and roasted meat, which could be eaten as a snack. Lipsticks in all the rainbows colors, a pearl neckless, the man who gave it to her said they were not real pearls, but it was the most expensive thing he owned, and he asked, "It is the thought that counts, right?"

Tom asked himself, why they were doing all of this, when an old woman brought something to Elsa, that made Elsa wipe away tears, and Tom went over to her to see what it was.

Elsa had been both nervous and grateful for all the gifts she was being given, but those earrings she held in her hand was made out of true gold and real diamonds. Elsa said that she could not possibly receive such a gift, but the old woman insisted, and asked if she could talk with Elsa in private.

Elsa said, "Of course you can, but can you wait until the evening."

She were interrupted when a man said. "I also have something I want to ask you about."

"All of those that had given her something wanted something from her!" Tom realized, as he started to have a bad feeling about this.

They knew what she was capable of, and the fact that the syndicate seemed to do what she told them to do, made Tom realize that they were thinking that she was the top dog in "The Black Box" now, and that could only mean one thing. They came to pay their respect and gave her things and then they wanted something in return for the kindness they showed Elsa.

Did they really think Elsa was "The Godmother," or something, or was it because she carried herself forward, as the ruler she once had been, Tom could not say.

Some had brought them paper and pencils, also "Items of Pleasure" in "The Black Box," and for those who could not write, Elsa asked them to come over to the paper. Then she asked a writer, who had brought her fresh bread and butter, to write down a list of names of the people that wanted to talk with her. She also made him record were they lived.

Elsa thanked them for the gifts, and told them to move on. When she had the time, she would hire someone to find them one by one, and deliver the message, that she was ready to hear them now.

Tom and Elsa spent the evening getting all the gifts inside their apartment, and that night, Elsa became one with Tom again, as she rode him skillfully, and when she fell on top of him after reaching her climax, he whispered into her ear, "My Queen."

She smiled, as she felt asleep beside him, her hands resting in his, their fingers entwined.

The next morning, they both saw the girl run around looking for work.

Tom knew that Elsa had talked with her before, as she had told him about her. Her name was Annika, a girl who could read. Her mother had died some days earlier, killed by some kind of decease that had taken over her body. Annika was all alone and Elsa decided to have her do errands for her, for money and food.

Elsa waved at Annika to come over to her and as Annika approached her Elsa asked, "Annika would you like a job?"

She nodded.

"Good, I have heard you can read is that true?"

Another nod.

"I have a list here for you, I want you to find the people on this list one at a time and then follow them back to me. I will pay you for doing that job; do you want to do it?"

"Yes, Elsa I will."

Off she went for the first person on the list, and returned with a younger woman, with blond, glittering hair, and blue eyes, and old clothes, that had been resewn many times.

Tom said, "Elsa, these people you send that girl to, they could be dangerous."

"They want something from me, so I doubt they will attack those who work for us both."

"She is still just a kid."

"I know, and I think we could teach her a thing or two."

"What do you mean?"

"I was thinking about her some days ago, and realized that she is all alone. We could take care of her."

Before Tom could answer, Annika and the woman, known as Mary stood before Tom and Elsa, and Elsa gave Annika some bread with butter and cheese, some candy, and a coin that she could stick in her pockets for being such a good girl, and Annika sat down and enjoyed her food.

Tom knew that Mary was only interested in talking with Elsa so he kept his mouth shut.

Mary approached Elsa and said, "I am so glad to be able to talk with you, Elsa was it? I gave you the jar of honey, have you tasted it yet?"

"Likewise, my name is Elsa, and no I have a lot of jars of honey in there, but I have not opened any of them yet. I thank you for the gift, and I understood you wanted to talk with me?"

"Yes, I wanted to ask you for a thing I hope you can do for me. You see my sister she is a good girl. She is pure an innocent in her own way, but she is a "Lady of the night."

"I see, but what is the problem?"

"You see she has fallen in love with a client of hers, that has whispered sweet poisonous words into her ears, and she is hopelessly infatuated with him. He has promised to marry her many a times, but when it comes to actually keeping his words on that, he does not. My sister does whatever that would please him, but she is treaded like dirt."

"Why did you want to tell me this?"

"We all know that the syndicate does what you ask them to do. You see, I have tried to talk my sister from seeing him, but she refuses to listen. It can be the death of her, and I do not want that to happen. My sister's name is Tina, and her lover is called Ferris. He works near the brothel Zanna used to run. I want him taken care of."

Tom was furious, opened his mouth, and said, "What exactly are you telling my wife to do?"

Mary took a step backward, and Tom saw Elsa look at him. In that moment her eyes looked so cold and full of anger, that Tom had difficult to keep his eyes focused on hers, and then he said, "Elsa, can we talk for a minute?"

Elsa went over to a corner, Tom went with her, and he said, "You do know what that woman is asking of you right?"

"Yes, and it was extremely rude for you to interrupt."

"Rude?"

"Yes, rude, you scared her."

"Elsa, they think we are in charge of the syndicate," but we are not. If the syndicate, suddenly finds it annoying that we keep on giving them orders, it will come back to haunt us if they see a weakness."

"You and I are not weak; I have told them that if they did anything out of line then I am going to finish them."

"Elsa, you are my weakness. If something happened to you, I would not know what to do. I love you okay?"

The cold hard eyes turned soft and warm, her lips founds his, her hand his cheek, and then she said, "You make me so happy Tom. We are playing a dangerous game, that the syndicate invited us to play, and now we have to keep being those in power. Even if that means that we have to strike a deal with the syndicate, but I think we need to keep ourselves away from them for some time, to just get them to calm down a bit."

"What do you have in mind?"

"Something, but what matters now is that people have given us "Items of Pleasure," and now we have to see where this leads."

"It could mean towards our doom."

Elsa looked away, her arms crossed, and Tom did not know what else to say.

Elsa turned to him and then she asked, "Are you with me to the end, no matter what happens?"

"To the end my love."

Then he kissed her, hungry for her lips, her scent, the feeling of touching her body, to touch what was his only. He knew that the syndicate had given him and Elsa the metal because they had to defuse a ticking time bomb in that room when Elsa had been ready to kill them all. Aldo would no doubt plan his revenge no matter what. He had lost face and even though Elsa could offer Aldo the world, it would not make his humiliation go away.

Tom and Elsa decided to go back towards Mary, and Elsa said, "This man Feris, will no longer trouble you anymore, I will see to it that the syndicate knows about it and they will deal with him, but I cannot say when it will happen, but it will happen."

"But what if my sister…"

"She will be safe as long as you make sure that she stays with you. Lock her up if you need to. Ferris will trouble you no longer."

Tom knew that there would be more blood in the streets, he just hoped his and Elsa´s blood was not a part of it and hoped that the blood did not permanently leave a stain on the floor.

Chapter 74: Anna: Remembrance

"The kingdom of Corona" was built on a hill, with the Grand Castle standing on top of it, overlooking the city. Anna and Nell had finally arrived after their long journey, something none of them wanted to remember fondly. The only thing they wanted to remember was when they lay in each other's arms, making love to one another.

After they had left the inn, there had been no other dangers on their journey, but they had already lost so much. Kevin, Isa and the child that had lived within Nell had all died on the journey. Her first true love Kristoff had died by the start of it, and now the journey was at an end.

Anna had never seen such magnificence before, and she looked at Nell and saw that she had become star struck of its beauty, and she was sitting on the horse with an open mouth. It made Anna laugh and ride over to her, put her arms around her, and said that now everything would be better.

It damned had well better be. Anna did not want this journey to be for nothing. Not after all the things that had happened. As they crossed the bridge leading to the Island, they saw fishing boats being tied up near the harbor, and big ships leaving it, and Anna was reminded of her own home and felt the tears press against her eyes.

She wanted to be strong for both of them, but she was surprised of how strong the love of her life Nell was. Ever since she had lost her child, she was talking and smiling again, and Anna was happy about that.

It had been that way since Nell broke down, in that room many days ago, and Anna just wanted to make sure that Nell knew, that she was always going to be there for her.

A breeze hit them both from behind, and Anna knew that it was the ocean, that brought the cold winds with them, but she also realized that she had lost track of time.

"What day was it? What month was it? How long had they been on the road?"

She had no idea.

Anna and Nell approached the harbor on top of their horses and heard broken lines of conversation between smallfolk and Captains and fishermen they rode past, and Anna thought about it all.

"Yes, I have heard the too."

"What had he heard? Was it exiting news?"

"Arendelle is destroyed. There were bodies everywhere, and the castle was burned down."

"

"They know my home was destroyed, but I do not think they know how it happened. The king will not be expecting us if they have heard it as well."

"Hans is dead! I have heard he was a bad egg."

"He was and in the end he has paid for it, with his life. He had, according to other rumors, been assassinated, and the culprit had not been found."

"The sisters of Arendelle are dead."

"The sisters of Arendelle is very much alive, and is going to keep on living for many years still."

"The Tehomian family was all found dead."

"They had been the ones Elsa had made that stupid ice deal with, is there any other news?"

"Struck down inside their own palace, surrounded by their own guards."

"That is odd. Hans is killed inside his own palace, no one sees a thing. The Tehomian family dies, and no one sees a thing. It is all too weird. I am starting to think that there is some kind of connection but I just cannot seem to recall what is connecting it all. It could have been him. Tamas wrote in that bloody letter, that he was going there. He was a sneaky bastard, so it could have been him." Anna though to herself.

"I have heard mysterious reports of real magic appearing in "The Black Box."

"Real magic? Elsa!"

Elsa had gone to "The Black Box" after all, and she was the only one, that Anna knew that had those kinds of powers. She did not miss her sister at all. She had stopped loving her since that day, where it was revealed that she was ready to do whatever was necessary to win, even hold a child hostage.

It made Anna wonder, if she had been wrong.

Elsa was her sister and Queen, and it was not unusual that people kept high-ranking people as "Guests" to convince their loved once not to do anything stupid. She had fallen for Nell, a woman that craved as much love as she herself did, and she loved Nell as a result, and the feeling was mutual for Nell.

That was the reason she had done it, the reason she had pushed Olaf into that fire. He wanted to tell Elsa the truth, something that Anna in no way was going to permit him to do.

She remembered the day when she had first met Olaf, alongside Sven and Kristoff, and how easy they all had become friends. How Olaf had told her, as she was freezing near to death in front of the fireplace, that there were some people worth melting for.

That was that Olaf that she had loved, but then he had changed. Maybe it was because of Elsa´s magic that had kept increasing in power, which had made Olaf more of Elsa´s puppet then friend. Elsa had loved that snowman because he had been created out of her childhood memory, and Olaf was in the end loyal to her alone.

Anna loved Nell, and was in no way, going to risk her life and her baby, and had killed Olaf, and Anna said to herself, that the snowman she had seen melt in the fire, had not been the same snowman, that would rat out an innocent child.

"On the other hand, would he?"

He had only sided with Elsa his creator, but also his Queen, and Anna had sided with Nell, instead of her rightful Queen, so in that way, maybe Anna had been the one who had acted irresponsible, but that was what she did for love.

Her love was strong for Nell and she would do anything for her, and Nell was the same. It was a match made in heaven, but surrounded by blood, tears and betrayal and mangled corpses. Anna realized that she had done what she thought was the right thing to do, and then damn take them all, those who were to believe different.

It was a slow journey up the hill, as they had to pass people on the way up who was either carrying wares up or down, so they had to ride as slow as possible, so the horses or the people was not scared, or created unnecessary trouble.

They came to the main door to the castle, and found two guards guarding the door, and Anna realized, that she had not worked on what she was going to say.

Then she remembered that Rapunzel would know her face, so she got down from her horse and went over to the guards and asked, "Is it possible to gain entrance to the castle?"

"No, unless you have any urgent matter to speak with the king about?"

"My name is Anna and this is my companion by the name of Nell. I am here to speak with the king."

"Well, Anna what do you want to speak to him about?"

"About Arendelle."

"A woman named Anna wanting to speak to the king regarding Arendelle. Are you Anna the princess of Arendelle?"

"Yes, I am."

"I think it is very disrespectful, to talk about "His majesties" niece, whom is said to have burned with the castle itself. Have you come here to disrespect Elsa also? Be gone before I have you arrested."

Anna used the ace in the hole.

"Is Rapunzel in the castle?"

"Yes."

"She knows my face and can say good for me."

The guards looked at each other and the one whom had not said anything, opened the door and went inside, and Anna and Nell waited and waited and then they waited some more.

Anna sent Nell a tired smile, and Nell smiled again, when Rapunzel came out through the door, dressed in a violet dress and a little diadem in her hair.

She stood for a second and looked at them both, where after she went straight over to Anna and hugged her tightly in towards her own body, while she almost yelled: "My God, you are alive, we have received the news that Arendelle has been burned down, we was fearing that the worst had happened. That we were never to see you again!"

"I thank you with all my heart my princess, we have traveled very far, we wanted to come and show that we still are alive, and then try to find out what else we were to do."

"Then you made the right decision. I understand that your companion is named Nell?"

Nell did a little bow towards Rapunzel and said, "Yes, that is right my princess."

Rapunzel looked at her for a bit and then looked at Anna, and Anna had no doubt in her mind that there were thousands of questions inside of Rapunzel's head, but before she could speak, Rapunzel said, "Come in you two, you must be tired."

They followed her inside the castle and Rapunzel lead them through several corridors and said, "So, my dad, mother and I and my husband are all, as you may know full of questions of what has happened in Arendelle. We all thought you were dead Anna."

"Well, I am very much alive."

"And your sister?"

"She is alive as well."

"Oh, why is she not here with you then?"

"It is a complicated story."

"I am looking forward to hear every little detail of it."

Anna started to wonder if Nell had been right all along.

If she told every little detail, the story would be that princess Anna had rebelled against her own queen and that was in no way acceptable, and was high treason. She suddenly realized that it was a huge error to come to the castle, but she did not want to show any sign of fear.

She would not allow that.

Rapunzel spoke: "You two must be tired after such a long journey, and it happens that we have two guestrooms prepared."

"We only need one, your highness," Nell said.

"I see," Rapunzel, answered.

Anna´s mind was working on high pressure, when Rapunzel said that. She realized that Nell had already told too much, for it was uncommon for two women to sleep in the same room in a grand castle, and Rapunzel must know by now that Anna and Nell was a couple.

This was getting very dangerous indeed.

Rapunzel showed them their room. It was big with a table, chairs, a divan, a couch and a big bed.

Rapunzel said, "We eat together, when my father has time for you both, but for now you are to remain in this room, until called upon, and now you must excuse me, but I have to meet with my husband now. Go get some sleep both of you."

Then she locked the door, and they were trapped in that room for now, and Anna had a bad feeling about this.

Nell asked, "Anna, there were no witnesses to all the things that has happened, right?"

"No, everyone ended up dead, we saw if from the ledge of that hill."

"What do we do now?"

"Just allow me to tell what happened, and if they ask, tell your story exactly as it went okay?"

"I will."

Anna hugged her and said, "I love you Nell, I really do."

"I love you to Anna."

They went to the bed and found it to be a deep and very comfortable bed, and it was not long before they were asleep in each other's arms.

Chapter 75: Miko: Drums In The Deep

No one had seen him that day he killed Hans, but he had not left the Southern Isles. Instead, he had gone down to the harbor and went onboard his own ship to escape the suspicion that it was he, who had committed the murder.

"The Westergaards" were all dead, their family line gone from the world, and now the Southern Isles were leaderless, he knew that this would cause a civil war for power, and he wanted to be gone before that happened.

He had been Hans´s right hand man in the eyes of the public, and now where Hans was dead, Miko doubted that anyone was going to fear him, and openly try to kill him in the streets, and he was not looking forward to that, or wanting to find out if that was going to happen.

To keep himself busy he concentrated on the work his workers were doing. They were digging with pickaxes and dynamite and they continued to dig. One of the men had come to him and he said that it was as if the entire burial chamber had been sabotaged and destroyed.

It was as if the ruble in the tunnels was made to keep people out of there.

Miko knew that it was probably sabotage but it was not to protect the dead from being disturbed. The controlled collapse of the tunnels was to protect what others would want people to forget about.

A Zeal of the Djinn was resting beneath the burial chambers. Miko had spent many days observing the digging. They kept on working they kept on being paid. They dug and dug even as they inhaled all the dust and there was a constant coughing from them.

"If the hard work did not kill them, the dust in their lungs would!" Miko thought to himself.

Then one of the men had come to him and said, "We have broken through sir. The burial chamber can be entered!"

"Well, then prepare the men as we will enter the place then!"

The worker had looked at Miko and said, "The truth is sir that the men do not want to enter the burial chamber. The say that there is something off with the place. Some even say they hear drums, like tribal drums coming from beneath the place."

"Drums?"

"Yes, and sir I have heard them myself. I do not think it is a good idea to go in there."

"Listen it is just peoples imagination. They have been working hard from the light towards the darkness in those chambers and now they enter a place that has not been set foot in for a long time. Nothing is wrong!"

To prove it Miko asked the worker to follow him, as he would lead the way into the burial chambers.

"The place is cursed!" he heard a man yell, and Miko saw countless dogs and cats run away from the palace and the birds above him was flying right into the palace wall and fell to the ground dead.

The dogs and the cats ran into the water as if they were trying to get away from the Isles. Miko and countless others saw how the dogs and cats drowned in the water. One place a dog stood chained up and the dog kept on barking and wanted to attack everyone near it.

"My god!" the worker said. "What is going on?"

Miko smiled and he said. ""What you are seeing before your eyes are true fear of just a fragment of the true power of the ancients.

He entered the castle and he followed the stairs down into the deep until he found the place where they had their breakthrough.

He could hear the tribal drums as well.

He was laughing to himself and he said, "This is truly the place, all of you men has done a great job!"

No one was smiling no one was clapping. They all looked like they just wanted to get out of there. Miko asked the worker that had told him about their progress, "What is your name?"

"My name is Ken."

"Well, you will follow me deeper inside these burial chambers."

Miko started walking further inside and Ken reluctantly followed.

"You can hear the drums right?"

"I can hear the drums ken."

"So why are we not going in the opposite direction? This place is oozing evil!"

"This place Ken is a sacred place, just like a church. Here you will find no gods in the way people understand them, but this place is something different. It is the burial place of the family, which for generations held these Isles as their own. They were the Anheiser family."

"Anheiser family?"

"They were descendants of those that originally were at war with the ancient Djinn of old. Yes, Ken you may look at me as if I have gone mad, but the fact is that this is the truth. In the great war of the Djinn many were defeated and imprisoned but their powers can still be felt outside of their prison. You are hearing their tribal drums. It is what I have been searching for, and now we are here."

They stepped into a huge chamber where coffins had been put inside openings in the walls, and each coffin was marked with a black eagle. The heraldry of the long dead Anheiser family. He heard footsteps behind them and he saw that Ken´s men had decided to follow them into the burial chambers.

Ken turned to them and asked them, "Why are you here?"

"Well, boss we just did not think you should head in alone, besides what kind of example would we be if we were afraid of ancient places?"

Ken was smiling.

Miko could see that ken was very proud of his men. Suddenly they heard the drums again. They all stopped up and listened to the drums.

One of the men said, "This was a bad idea. Let us get out again."

"Are you a coward?" asked another.

Ken said, "Those who wish to go may go, I am not forcing anyone to go with us, if they do not want to."

They all followed him.

One person said, "I can see some stairs going down there. Maybe one person should stay on this floor if someone comes around."

"That is a good idea!" Ken said, and the person who had suggested it stayed behind.

They followed the stairs down, the drums became louder, and they found themselves in an underground chamber. In this chamber, there stood a statue of what could only be Djinn and on the wall behind the statue, there was a tapestry with images of Djinn attacking and cutting open each other, their wounds healing once again.

Ken stopped and held his arms to the side signaling that his men was not to take another step further.

"This is a cursed place!" Ken said to Miko. "Are you dealing in some sort of dark magic?"

The men was looking at Miko with horror.

"A dark magician, no. I am a man that lives in constant sorrow, because of that Ice bitch that murdered my family. That I will not forget. That I will not forgive. Now you will witness true power."

Miko went over to the statue where there was a bust of a head. It seemed to look like it was laughing at him. He touched the stone eyes and pushed them inn, and then the head made of stone started moving and opening its mouth and within its mouth was the Zeal he had been searching for.

The image of the Djinn on the seal started laughing a loud laughter that went into the bone, marrow, and soul on the men.

The images of the Djinn on the tapestries started moving by themselves and Miko said, "Witness the power of the ancients!"

They heard a scream that came from upstairs where one of the men stood watch.

"HELP ME!" they heard him yell.

Ken yelled, "Men on me. This way!"

All his men was following him and one said, "We should never have come here, we should never have come here!"

"Shut up" Ken said. "Now is not the time to be afraid!"

Miko stood back and did not move a muscle. He just looked at the image of the Djinn on the zeal that was laughing loudly.

He was thinking, "This is just the beginning of the absolute power I will poses, and I will destroy that woman and make her my slave and bend her to my will."

He turned around and walked very slowly towards the stairs as if he had all the time in the world. He heard screaming coming from upstairs, but he was walking slowly as if he did not have a care in the world. The coffins in the openings in the wall had moved and the lids in many of them had been moved. Skeletons of long dead Kings, Queens, Princesses and Princes were fighting the miners.

Miko could see that some of them had already fallen. One person had an axe in his skull another had his heart pierced with an arrow. It was complete chaos. The Zeal in his hands was laughing and suddenly the skeletons stopped moving and they bowed before him.

"Is it me they bow for or is it the Zeal and the moving image?"

As long as they did not attack him, he would not care.

Then he said to the skeletons, "Kill them all!"

The skeletons obeyed and they attacked the miners.

Ken had an old sword in his hands that he had grabbed from a grave, but he was not a swordsman, and he yelled to his men, "Run Away!"

Miko made a wave with his hand and flames appeared blocking the miners exit and escape route. Ken stopped in his tracks and looked back at Miko.

"He is a brave man this ken, but with this Zeal in my hands I have even more power. No one can best me now!"

Ken came running towards him with the sword raised high. If he was going down it had to be in a blaze of glory. Miko waved his hand again and Ken started screaming, as he fell to the cold stone floor flames all around him. He was burning and rolling on the floor trying to extinguish the flames.

The skeletons was cutting the miners down left and right. One skeleton got hold of one miner and strangled him to death, another skeleton took a sword and cut one of the miners open from head to toe and cut the miner in two half's.

"This was indeed an exciting day!" Miko thought to himself and went over to Ken that was barely alive.

Miko looked at a skeleton whose rotten clothes revealed she once had been a princess.

Miko commanded, "Take his heart out!"

The skeleton princess sat on top of Ken and pushed her bony fingers through his mouth and down his throat, while Ken was gargling and kicking wildly with his legs and turning purple and gurgling, what would have been screaming. He became silent and he was dead. He had stopped moving but the skeleton did not, and through a neck that had been torn asunder, she presented to Miko Ken´s heart.

Miko took the heart and the Zeal´s image started laughing again as the skeleton princess put its cranial mouth to Miko´s cheek almost as the skeleton had tried to kiss him. Miko found it amusing, thanked the skeletons for their work, and told them to go to sleep. They found their coffins and started laying down in them, and hereafter they stopped moving.

Miko found it amusing, for the skeletons had never truly been alive. They had been controlled by the Djinn´s dark magic that came from the Zeal. He looked at the image of the laughing Djinn and he stated laughing alongside them as the fires started to consume the chamber and the tunnels he was moving trough. There were no witnesses.

Chapter 76: Nell: A Meeting And A Dinner

Nell lay naked under the blankets in the bed next to Anna. They were both naked and in love and Nell had a bad feeling in her stomach. She could not escape the feeling that they should not have come to the castle in the first place, and she suspected that Anna was thinking the same thing, even though she did not want to admit it.

They had made love that night, and feeling Anna´s careful but eager fingers inside of her, gave her more pleasure than anything else she could think of. She always wanted Anna, the only person that had ever stuck to her as family and loved her unconditionally. She wanted to be the best person she could be when she was with her, and nothing was going to come between them.

They had been locked in the room for some time now, but at least they were locked in with each other.

They were given three delicious meals a day, and many cans of fresh water, and for the meals, beer or wine, whatever they preferred. In truth, they only preferred each other, loved kissing each other, sucking on each other's nipples, and just sleep with their arms around each other. That was what they wanted for the rest of their lives.

Nell had lost a lot and Anna was the final person she stuck too. She had lost her sister, her parents, her home on the Southern Isles, had been raped by Hans, had lost her child, and Nell knew, that if she ever lost Anna, then she did not want to continue on living, her heart, her love and herself would die with Anna.

They heard a knock on the door and a voice asked, "Are you ladies decent?"

"No, we are not!" Anna replied and got up from the bed.

Nell did the same thing and started taking her dress on. They had given it to her. She no longer went around dressed like an ice harvester, and the green dress she had been given made her green eyes become much more noticeable.

Anna was wearing a red dress, red as blood, and Nell thought Anna looked like a goddess, and the best thing of it all was, that goddess was hers alone, and no one else´s.

"We are decent now, you can come in!" Anna said and Rapunzel opened the door and escorted them out of the room.

Rapunzel asked, "So, ladies how have you slept?"

Anna said, "Like a rock, thank you, so are the king ready to receive us yet?"

"Yes, we are going to eat dinner together all of us. We have many questions for you, and we know it has been tough for you both. We could as you know, not believe our ears, when we heard that Arendelle, had been burned to the ground. Anna, we thought that you all were dead, and the king wants to know exactly what has happened, all of it.

They went through a set of doors and stood in a large room with carpets on the floor, and paintings hanging all around them on the walls. In the middle of the room, there was a long table with many chairs, but there were no one else in the room.

Rapunzel had a fine dress on, the same one she had on when Anna and Nell had come to the castle seeking help. Nell was nervous, but she felt Anna´s hand in hers, and she calmed down, and saw Anna smile at her, while Rapunzel was not looking.

Another set of doors opened up and the King and Queen of Corona stepped inside, all dressed as a royal couple, all fine clothes and a crown and tiara upon their heads. Nell thought that they looked nice and trustworthy, but she kept her head held up high and remembered, that there were also wolves in sheep's clothing, so she was going to be very careful about what she said. Anna had told her to let her carry on with the conversation, and that Nell should only speak if she was spoken to.

In came the dazzling Flynn Rider, Rapunzel's husband all dressed in a fine white military uniform, with a sword hanging down from his belt, and he was all smiles and laughter. Nell thought that this family dinner was not going to be as bad as she feared it would be.

Anna said, "You majesty it is so good to see you."

He responded, "Likewise Anna of Arendelle. I hope your surroundings were the best?"

"I have nothing to complain about, I had good company."

Nell felt her cheeks blush.

The king went over to Nell and said, "You must be Nell, am I right?"

Nell curtseyed and said, "You are right about that, your majesty."

Nell knew that the king's name was Frederic and the queen's name was Arianna and she saw them both approach Anna and Arianna put her arms around Anna and said, "We thought you were dead, what happened to your sister?"

The king said, "We will speak about that at the table, I can already smell the food."

The servants came with plates of roasted duck and salad, a thick brown sauce, bread, butter and cheese, and placed it on the long table made of tree, and then they left and Nell and the others took a seat.

Anna and Nell placed themselves next to each other, Rapunzel and Flynn next to each other, and Frederic and Arianna next to each other.

A servant came in again and placed a can of wine in front of the royal couple, another one at Rapunzel and Flynn, and a third in front of Anna and Nell.

Nell was hungry, and when the King said begin, she and Anna took some of the roasted duck, and some of all the other delicious delicacies, and Nell ate and found herself relax more and more, and the wine that had been placed in front of them tasted like summer.

King Frederic said, "Now, I want everybody to be silent, for now I have to ask you some questions Anna and I know you two must have gone through a lot, but we have to get to the bottom of it all, so what happened back in Arendelle?"

Nell looked at Anna who placed her hand on Nell's leg, and then she turned to the king and said, "It is a long story, your majesty; I do not even know where to start."

"At the beginning, please."

Anna told the story. She told him about the magical abilities that Elsa had been born with and how she was hit by her sister with her magical powers, and about the trolls that had warned Elsa to never use her powers and as a result had spent many years isolated from her sister.

The king turned to Arianna and asked, "What is it about our family having strange abilities?"

Then he looked over at Rapunzel, as for her to say something.

Rapunzel said, "I too had magical powers that was the result of my mother consuming a flower, so my hair could heal those, whom had been hurt."

Flynn said, "Oh, I can vouch for that, it scared me half to death when it was used on me."

"At least you did not freak out," Rapunzel responded with a smile.

Anna continued her story and told them about the coronation day, how Elsa had revealed her powers, and how she had escaped up the mountain and had created an ice castle and two snowmen, how Hans of the Southern Isles had been given control of Arendelle and had tried to kill her when he met up with her.

The Queen said, "Hans is dead, killed by an unknown assailant, so he will trouble you no more."

Anna told them, how Elsa was locked up in a cell, while she was dying because of the magic, which Elsa by accident had unleashed towards her, how Hans had tried to kill Elsa, and how she had come in between them and had died as a result. How her act of true love had been what saved her in the end, and how Hans had been arrested for his treason.

Rapunzel asked, "You were literally dead? I do not find that hard to believe, and Flynn can tell you more about that."

Flynn said, "I was wounded and died as a result, but the remaining magic in Rapunzel brought me back to life. I was given a second chance to become something good."

Rapunzel said, "This Hans was a bad guy. I was kidnapped while I was still an infant, stolen by a woman called Gothel, who pretended that she was my mother, and treated me like a daughter."

Flynn responded, "A truly evil woman, which got what she deserved."

Rapunzel said, "I was sitting down the other day and I wondered just how far she would have taken it. As I would age, she would probably get some person to take me against my will and plant a child in me, which could inherit my powers. We know that there are many bad people out there."

"Exactly!" the king responded and smiled at his daughter.

Anna told them how Elsa had dreams, in which Hans raped her, how a voice had been calling out to her, and said she was like a key for something that was beyond her understanding, how Hans had been sent back to the Southern Isles, how the Sultan of Tehomia had ordered a gigantic ice order.

The king said, "The Sultan was actually a very nice guy. I met him three times doing his life. Now, he and his family is dead, and now there is a war in Tehomia."

Anna asked, "What about this war?"

The king responded, "After the sultan's death it was only a matter of time, before someone was going to try to take power, and that always results in war. It is a terrible thing when it comes to war, it will never go away."

Anna told them how she and Elsa had learned that two people were dead because of Elsa´s powers. Then she told them about Nell. How Nell had grown up within the castle of the Southern Isles. How Nell's sister had disappeared. How she managed to escape the castle. How Hans had been taken into custody, how a stranger called Tamas, was capable of making a fine Elixir for Elsa so she could dream a dreamless sleep, as her dreams were violent. How Hans had massacred his own family, how Nell escaped a burning inn, how Elsa had been accusing her for acting strangely.

The king asked, "Acting strangely?"

"Elsa had accused me of yelling at her even though that I was never in the room to begin with."

Anna told them how Hans assaulted Nell and how she had escaped on board a ship known as "The Time Bandit," and how she escaped that very same ship, doing a dangerous storm that had cost every man working on it their lives. How Nell had met up with Kristoff, and how they both came to the castle, and how Nell had told them about Hans's takeover of the Southern Isles and the death of Gerda, and how Hans began preparing his war ships for and all-out war with Arendelle.

Anna yawned, and Nell could see that she was tired. Good food and good wine would surely do that to the body, and Nell felt tired as well.

Then Anna started the story, they both had agreed should be told, but it was a changed version of it.

Anna said, "We found out that Nell was pregnant with Hans´s child, and as we told Elsa this, something within her snapped. I blame her powers for that, but she conjured up icicles that massacred everyone in Arendelle. We managed to get out of the palace and city, and looked on in horror, as my ancestral home burned down in front of us. Then we figured we should travel here, and seek some help and guidance of what we were to do next."

The King looked at his wife, and Nell felt like her head was being pulled down towards the table. She felt weird. She looked at Anna and saw that she was struggling to keep her eyes open.

The king had a letter in his hand and he opened it up and started reading:

"To the King and Queen of Corona"

"My name is Tamas and I used to work for the Arendelle royal family"

"You might be sought out by your niece, Princess Anna and a woman called Nell"

"Whatever you do, do not let them leave your side"

"They are responsible for high treason and they are murderers, which have conspired against Queen Elsa of Arendelle."

"Should they find themselves in your perimeters, you can ask them about Olaf and the timeframe in which Anna became aware of Nell´s pregnancy to the murder of Olaf, which resulted in Elsa losing control of her powers"

"They are guilty, and should be thrown in prison"

"I will write to you again"

"Yours in confidence"

"Tamas"

Nell´s head felt heavy and her eyes were slitting out of focus.

She said, "Anna, something is wrong."

She looked at the wine placed in front of her, and knew that something with it was wrong.

It could only be drugged!

Anna yelled, "Nell!"

Nell heard it and then she saw Anna collapse to the floor and Nell fell with her, and her world turned to darkness.

Chapter 77: Elsa: Past And Present

Elsa was laying down on the couch and was reading a book, which one of those whom had come to ask for her help had given her. It was night, but she used one of the many hundreds of candles, she had been given as a gift to read it.

The book told the story about the Civil war that had nearly destroyed all of "Icilia," back in those days many hundreds of years ago.

Many years after the closing of "The Black Box," as it was given a permanent roof, the line after Queen Mia lived on. The King named Gavin, now sat upon the throne. Years of incest between brothers and sisters had left him a man that was shaking a lot and his wounds did not heal that fast either. His mind was still his own, and he was neither mad nor evil, but people despised him, and called him a freak of nature.

He pretended not to hear those words, and laughter behind his back, but each word was like a dagger to his heart and he hated people for it. Hated them and he could have their tongues removed, but he did not do that. He was neither evil nor barbaric, but he was hated all the same.

It happened on a cold and stormy night, as the rain poured mercilessly down, that a young woman, came to the castle cold wet and shaking like a leaf. She asked King Gavin to have pity for her, and asked him if she could stay for a night, as it was cold outside, the weather would otherwise kill her.

Her name was Amina. She had golden hair and lips made for kissing, and her eyes was as blue as the wide ocean, and he found himself smitten by her beauty. He allowed her to stay, which she did for many days, as the king fell hopelessly in love with her. She was not the kind of person that judged other people, but only saw the goodness in people's hearts, and she was forever grateful for the compassion The King had shown her.

As days passed while she was his guest, The King gathered all his strength, and asked her hand in marriage, and she accepted, and they were married in a grand ceremony, and all the people of "Icilia" cheered for the new wedded couple. They had been married outside, to the pleasure of the happy crowd, as "The Black Box" stretched far into the sky, which shadow lay upon the wedding, a promise of things to come.

King Gavin's brother Malaki returned home in the middle of the festivities accompanied by a man with strange tattoos over his face. History remembered his name as Zuldrak, and his role in "The Civil War" to come.

It happened that Malaki had been sent into exile, for insulting his brother, callng him a freak of incest as Gavin was the result of the union between brother and sister, while Malaki had the same father, he did not have the same mother and Gavin and Malaki was half-brothers. Malaki whispered treacherous words into the ears of many of his brother's men, words that said that a shaking man would only make the throne shake, and the kingdom with it.

It was said that Malaki upon returning home, went before his brother, went down on both of his knees, and asked King Gavin to forgive him, telling him that he would like to stay home now, and he was going to be a good loyal brother from that point on.

King Gavin forgave his brother, and all seemed to be good for everyone, but the shadow of "The Black Box," would beg to differ.

People said that the human heart was a fragile thing and humans was quick to make mistakes, for as Amina saw Malaki, with his broad shoulders and long black hair, she fell in love with him, and her heart wanted him and not Gavin.

It was said though there were no proof or evidence to this, that Amina had married King Gavin because it would be stupid not to marry a king, but she had not loved him, as a woman would love her husband and her children.

That day Malaki returned would prove to be one of many sparks that started the Civil war. It was said that in the shadows of the night, among the silent stones in underground tunnels in the castle, that Malaki and Amina met in secret. Amina would make a little hop and wrap her legs around his waist, as he had her pressed up against a wall, as his manhood found her cave filled with her passion, as they kissed each other as young lovers do.

As they did this against the wall as the fire from a torch on the wall bathed the wall in a green like color, they were committing high treason and this was something that would prove to be the death of many.

The King noticed it. He noticed her eyes seeking his brother and he knew beyond a doubt that there was something between them. One night he went over to her as she stood by a fireplace and the fire gave her an aura of beauty and warmth around her, which made him even more furious.

Malaki was at this point out in the forest hunting a deer, and the thought of him made King Gavin tell her that he had loved her, and before she could respond he grabbed a fire poker and hit her in the face with it. She lay on the ground, tears running down her cheeks, but the king was deaf and blind to her and he beat her.

He beat her until she pulled her legs up around her in a fetus position.

He beat her until she was screaming.

He beat her until she was silent.

He beat her until her face was unrecognizable.

He beat her until all life had left her.

Then he sent a decree out, that he put a bounty on his brother's head and Malaki had to die.

Words reached Malaki of what had happened to his beloved lover and swore revenge and then he and Zuldrak disappeared not to be seen again for a long time.

They returned to "Icilia" five years later, with an army behind them. History told tales of how Zuldrak had convinced many men that he had mysterious powers, and if they choose to fight against "Icilia" and it's King, they would be rewarded heaven and earth. Most of them just settled for some gold and women to warm them in the night and have their children with, this was what most wanted.

Now, even before Malaki´s, army met King Gavin´s, the people of "Icilia," had years lived with the tale of how the king murdered his Queen in such a brutal way, and many citizens chose to be on Malaki´s side of the conflict. Others decided to be on Gavin´s side, for he was after all the true king.

As both armies faced each other, everyone realized that it would be a fight that would be symbolic in many ways, for they fought it in the shadow of "The Black Box," those who were defeated and lived would be spending the rest of their lives in that thing.

They were about to die, and historians told that on that day as the shadow was cast over them all, no birds sang in the air, no wind made their capes blow up and down. No breath from all the scared men could be heard, or no one noticed it.

They were those who was about to die, they saluted each other in the quietness in the shadow of "The Black Box," and measured each other. Some said that King Gavin had been prepared for that day, for his army consisted of many well-trained men, all of them battle hardened.

Malaki had almost the same amount of men, for it was not that many that had journeyed with him. Historians speculated that Zuldrak had told Malaki that they had to return to "Icilia" now, or the people would forget the king's crime in time, and so they had journeyed back with their army.

King Gavin was dresses in a white amour and helmet, against Malaki´s blue armor and it had to have been a surprise when all Gavin´s men saw that Zuldrak had no amour on at all.

A knight known as Kildar, whom had been a part of the battle, said that though King Gavin shook within his armor and blead easily, he had to face his brother or his men would lose their respect for him and join Malaki´s side. Kildar also said that King Gavin had asked Zuldrak, why he wore no armor, and if he needed one he would give Zuldrak an armor that he was sure would fit Zuldrak perfectly, but Zuldrak said, "No thanks King Gavin; even if I am cut down I for one cannot die."

Malaki told his brother that he had loved Amina, and in no way would he allow Gavin to get away with what he did to her, and Gavin had told him, "Come at me brother, let us see what you are made off!"

Kildar described the events that followed as pure chaos. He found himself fighting twenty men in that battle, but he got glimpses of what happened to some of the others.

He saw Malaki´s body laying down on the battlefield, but he did not know if Malaki was alive or dead. He saw King Gavin die as his head was cut off from the rest of his body, that clung to the horse and as the horse ran away from the battlefield, The King without a head was pulled right after it. Maybe it was the heat, but Kildar had sworn, that he had seen Zuldrak move faster than any man alive had ever moved before and kill better and more effective to. He could have sworn that he could see that Zuldrak had multiple arms, but it had to be the heat of the battle, that made him see things.

Zuldrak fought, but he was stabbed through his neck from behind and then the true terror started. There were two armies, consisting of bloodthirsty men and with their leaders dead, there were no one to lead them all.

The soldiers stopped their fighting when they heard the sound of a battle horn. The man who had blown into it said that there were no reason for them to fight each other, as it still took many men to sack the city of "Icilia."

The men understood what he was getting at and they regrouped and ran as barbarians and all of them as one, and they sacked the city. Men without armor where cut down where they stood, the women was raped or killed or the other way around. Some soldiers saw women they liked, and bound their feet and hands together, took them over their shoulders as war trophies and carried them to safety. They would be their wives. Some refused and their kids were slaughtered in front of them, and then they were killed, and some women said they would come with the soldiers freely, as long as the soldiers showed mercy to the kids.

Some did, and even went so far to adopt the child as well. Historians noted that in the future, those soldiers that had adopted the children would live with his wife, his own and adopted children, which led to a functioning family dynamic, which was held together through thick and thin. For all the others it was just pain and blood in a true massacre.

The soldiers left the city a smoldering ruin, with the palace destroyed, the city looted of valuables and beautiful women, and those left behind that was lucky to have escaped the massacre, were both young and old, and it did not take long before the smoldering ruin of a city fell into anarchy.

Neighbors that had lived beside each other for generations fought each other for food and valuables and men with wives and daughters found that they had to fend of other men that wanted to get to the women. In the end, a man known only has Hira, gathered some men that functioned as his own army, and they went from house to house, street to street, and restored order and peace.

The survivors gathered around Hira and told him about the accusations they had for one another. Rapist and murderers were cut down were they stood and those that was still alive now faced the task of rebuilding the city.

The first thing they did was to gather the corpses of all the dead, stack them up in piles, and burn them. Kildar said that he could have sworn that when they burned the body of Zuldrak, he had seen a shadow with red eyes among the fire, it had smiled to him, and then it became smoke among the fire and disappeared.

Elsa was tired of the reading and blew the candle out and closed her eyes to try to get a bit of sleep, it would not be long before she had to confront Aldo and she needed to be rested.

She fell asleep on the couch and dreamt of the smiling shadow with red eyes.

Chapter 78: Miko: A Personal Hell

He lay plans to escape the Southern Isles, but the master had contacted him telepathically and had told him to stay put.

"Miko."

"Master, what is your bidding?"

"She is in The Black Box, near "Icilia."

"What do you want from me?"

"You are to stay on "The Southern Isles," and you are to take control over the fleet. It will come in handy."

"You said it would not."

"Yes, but things have changed, and that is because of the sister. Anna is currently in "Corona," seeking help from her cousins. Maybe she have walked into a trap of her own, maybe not, but in any case, the fleet will be important, when it comes to the attack on "Corona and Icilia."

"Why is that?"

"I hate "Icilia," and it is time for them to pay for their transgressions against me. Now a new king have taken command. He is of the same bloodline as Queen Mia, and now where Elsa is in the area, in "The Black Box," it presents an opportunity to kill two birds with one stone."

"By why "Corona" then? Why not just attack "Icilia" head on?"

"Because there is multiple ways to skin a cat. If we get our hands on Anna, we can lure Elsa out of "The Black Box."

"Nobody is allowed to get out of The Black Box, once they have entered it. Why do you think she will do it for Anna?"

"Why do you think it is not going to happen, Miko? They are sisters through and through, one of them will seek the other one out, and if we can get Anna in our grasp, it will be easy for us to control Elsa."

"Elsa hates Anna with a passion, after she killed that bloody snowman Olaf, if we do something to her chances is that, Elsa will just leave Anna to die, or kill her herself."

"No, she will not."

"Why do you say so?"

"Elsa is married to a man called Tom within "The Black Box," and she is still capable of feeling empathy. We can use that to our advantage, but we have to be quick. If Elsa loses all her empathy within "The Black Box," we will not be able to lure her out of it."

"So we are eventually running on a short time frame?"

"Yes, we are so as you can see the ships, became necessary again. We have to retrieve Anna from "Corona," with force and violence that is the only way."

"Anna, is she accompanied with that woman?"

"Yes, she is."

"Nell."

"You can do with Nell exactly as you want to when the time comes, but from now on make sure you take control of the Southern Isles fleet. It just came in handy again."

"Another question master if I may?"

"You may ask!"

"Why did Elsa go to The Black Box?

"I told her to travel there, that she deserved to live in that place, and she believes it to be true. She has a chance of finding a Zeal that is hidden below The Black Box. She will have the greatest chance of retrieving it."

"Speaking of Zeals master, I have retrieved the one hidden beneath the Southern Isles. The Zeal is in my hands now."

"That is excellent news Miko. Soon you will have our power and you will be able to do with the ice queen as you like."

The voice were silent once again.

Miko had a new trial to complete, but how would he to do it? There were Generals and Lieutenants there had a better claim to the throne, than he himself had, and his mission were to take control of the ships, all of them.

The Captains onboard them was not going to fight for him, so there had to be another battle, and that had to happen soon. There were over one-hundred military ships down at the harbor, and Miko realized that he needed many men for such a job, but where would he find them?

As Miko contemplated this, he knew that the Captains onboard the ships, might try to steal the ships, and sail to another harbor and swear loyalty to the cities' leader, or they may have become mercenaries, either way Miko could not find out what to do in such a short notice.

Then suddenly he knew what he had to do.

He found the men sitting in "The Three Drunken Bandits."

They were the mercenaries he had used doing the takeover of the Southern Isles, and now he was going to use them again.

He had learned the names of the ones who was arguing their case and course and why they should be the ones to sit on the throne and as his men were very effective and loyal mercenaries, he decided to send them on a mission to kill all the contenders for the throne.

He told them that those people had to die silently, without anyone being alarmed to battle. Miko would then take care of the rest.

He asked if they wanted the mission and they accepted, on one condition, "That they were handsomely rewarded."

Miko smiled and said that they would be just that, for it was his intension of taking the fleet in his possession, and sail to "Corona" and "Icilia" and if they choose to take part in those battles or not, they would automatically be rewarded with Gold and many naked women.

The only thing required of them, was to use their swords and skills now.

Miko then rented a room in the inn, threw himself on the bed, and dreamed. In his dream, he was chasing her through the snow, as her ice dress was partly ripped to pieces and she held on to it, so her body was not exposed to him.

However, he was not after her body. He was not interested in fucking her. He wanted her dead because of what had happened to Anita and Matilda, and he was going to cut that monster up.

She tripped and the wind got hold of her clothes and she lay there naked in the snow, the blood pouring out from the holes, he had made in her body with that knife of his, and he felt disgust towards this woman.

Nothing but pure disgust.

His family was dead because of her, and for that reason, he lifted up his sword, and forcefully made it cut all the way through Elsa´s body, but to his horror, her face changed to his wife´s.

It said, "What did we do to you? Were you not interested in helping your family? Did we disgust you so much, that you left us to die?"

Miko awoke bathed in sweat.

It was a cold night outside, and his mercenaries were no longer sitting at the table. He knew that they were out doing their job, for their targets did not have much protection with them, so it would be a rather easy task for them to complete.

He waited for three days before they came to the tavern again, with the news that the targets were dead. One of them had got and axe through his skull, another one had been drowned. Another one had been stabbed repeatedly and that man's wife had been raped and strangled. The two last contenders for the throne, one had his skull cleaved of his shoulders, and the last man´s body had been filled up with arrows.

Miko and his men travelled up to the castle again and found soldiers blocking the entrance into it, Miko gave the order, and the battle began. He saw two of his own men be cut down, but the other soldiers was either killed or surrendered.

Miko said, "Leave no witnesses."

The surrendering soldiers were cut down were they kneeled and Miko went into the throne room and sat down upon the throne. He had conquered it, and now it was time for him to assemble all of those that was not in "Death´s Dormitories," and explain to them the gravity of the situation.

In one of the castle towers, a huge bell was used only when people were to assemble at the steps leading into the castle. He got his men to hide the corpses of the fallen soldiers, and made them clean up the blood, and then the bell was rung.

Its high beckoning sound, made people stick their heads out of their windows and almost as in a trance like state, walk towards the sound of the bells ringing.

Miko greeted them outside and said, "Dear people off the Southern Isles. As you may now know where King Hans is dead, another king must take his place to rule the Southern Isles but there has been many contenders for the job and all of them has been found dead!"

The women in the crowd covered their children's ears, and put their hands in front of their own mouth´s in utter shock, while the men´s eyes went wide open and husbands and fathers placed their arms around their wife's and children, as to shield them from the hard hitting news.

"The contenders to the thrones was found stabbed, drowned, filled with arrows, and first we thought that it had been the work of a war taking place between them, but know we suspect otherwise! Two invincible enemies have betrayed us, who seeks to destroy us!"

There were loud gasps of shock among the crowd.

"The Kingdom of Corona" and "The Northern Kingdom" all seeks to destroy us. We captured a spy that confessed his sins before he jumped to his death, to avoid your anger."

Someone in the crowd yelled out, "WHAT A COWARD!"

The people were getting angry, Miko could see that, and now it was about time, to get them all fired up and ready them for war.

He said, "They will stop at nothing to destroy us all, and we as a nation, must rise up to them, for we refuse to be a part of their political games! As a Kingdom, we will rise up against our enemies and bring the fight to them, and we will be victorious."

The crowd was going into a frenzy, "KILL, KILL, KILL!"

"We all thought that they were our friends but they only have hatred and deceit in their hearts and it will be destroyed, they will all die for their transgressions against us!"

"KILL, KILL, KILL!"

"We must stand tall and not give up, you must allow the hatred of what they have done towards you into your hearts and minds, only then will we be victorious."

The noise from the people was deafening.

"We will take our fleet and take it towards "The Kingdom of Corona" to destroy our enemy, and then set sail for "Icilia," and bring that city to heel. We will show them what happens to those, who declares war on us!"

The people was yelling blood and curses towards "Icilia" and "Corona."

"So arm yourself men and ready yourself for the fight of your life. You do not fight for yourself! You fight for your women, your children and your kingdom! Death to our enemies! Death to them all!"

The people was in such a frenzy and they were ready to fight each other, and Miko decided to turn this, so that would not come to be.

Miko was about to continue his speech, when someone made a slow clap behind him, something he found annoying and he turned around, and he saw Hugh, who was the leader of his mercenaries, approach him and Hugh said, "It was a great speech, my friend and I want you to understand that I harbor no ill will against you."

Before Miko could ask what he meant by that, he saw the sword coming before he felt it, and it pierced through his stomach, through his organs, cutting through muscles and went out through his back, and as he struggled with the fact that a sword went through him, Hugh said, "But the master does."

Miko saw his frozen wife and child before his eyes, he did not even feel the sword being pulled out of his body, but he fell nonetheless, still with the image of his families frozen corpses clinging to his mind's eye, and as he blead out and died he still saw the frozen corpses of his family.

This was his hell. To die with that image edged deeply into his mind. It would be the last thing he was ever going to see in his life, that was going to be his personal hell and then Miko was no more.

Chapter 79: Elsa: The Confrontation

Elsa woke up and she was shaking like a leaf.

"Tom!" she cried out in the darkness, and the figure beside her awoke, as if it had been hit by cold water.

"What is it Elsa, are you okay?" he asked and Elsa felt his arms around her.

"I was, it was a dream."

"Did you have a bad dream?"

"Yes, Tom it was bad."

She did not even notice that she was grabbing on to Tom´s arm as if she was holding on to her own sanity. The dream had been a brutal one this time.

The shadow with the red eyes had called out, "There you are!"

It had run towards her with lightning speed and pushed her to the ground like Hans had done, and before Elsa could say anything, the shadow looked at her with its red eyes and said, "It is almost time!"

The shadow disappeared and voices from people she could not see was heard all around her. She tried to block the voices out, but she heard them still and no matter what she did, she could not block them out.

"I trusted you!"

"The king cannot be trusted!"

"We went right into a trap!"

"Where the prison that holds them?"

"Zuldrak, we cannot!"

Elsa woke up after that and felt bloodied, beaten, and sweaty all over. Her husband was there for her and it made her calm, for this day she would need all of her strength to come through.

When her breathing had become more regular, she asked, "Tom, when is it morning?"

"In two hours from now, why?"

"Aldo."

"I see, are you sure you want to do this alone?"

"I do not want to do it alone. I HAVE to do it alone, and that is what matters."

"Oh, I know something different that matters?"

"What?"

"Let me show you."

She felt his lips to hers, and felt the heat between her legs. He was stiff as a board, and Elsa decided to be on the bottom this time. She lay down on her back and Tom got between her legs, and then she felt his dick inside of herself.

It was one of the things she loved the most of all. Being one with another human being. She had never thought it was possible to have so much love for another human being, but here she was, on the bed with him inside of her.

He came and Elsa felt wet and sticky, but happier than anyone else did in the world.

Everyday people came to her, and showered her with gifts, and treats and Elsa had almost fainted, when she saw the sight of chocolate, something she had not seen or tasted for what felt like years. They all wanted something from her.

One wanted protection, another wanted on the syndicate´s life list, others wanted to work for her and others had favors to ask. Words on the streets were that Aldo had not been seen for some time, and rumors were that he was plotting something and that could only mean trouble, and Elsa wanted to avoid an embarrassing situation, so she wanted to seek out Aldo and befriend him.

It was such a strange feeling.

In another life, she would have sentenced Aldo to death, for the rape of a noblewoman, but now she was in The Black Box, and it could be a death sentence saying to people aloud that one were better than they were. People would be insulted and slit ones throat for parading around, and that was something Elsa had to keep in mind.

News of Elsa´s powers spread like a wildfire, and people came to her to see if the rumors were true. She had made the entire floor be covered in snow, the children had run around throwing snowballs at each other, and Elsa was suddenly remembering a similar scene a lifetime ago.

Sometime later, she sat at the table with a stomach full of bread and honey, and she felt more energized then she had ever been before, and not only that, she felt like a Queen again, and felt the powers within her.

Tom said, "So, I am not to come with you?"

"No Tom, but keep me in your mind right?"

"I always will my love."

Elsa got up and kissed him on his cheek and she went out of the doors. She was dressed in her snow Queen dress, and people turned their heads to get a better look at her and as she was ready to ascend the stairs to the upper floors, she saw the shaking man standing on it.

It looked like he was just standing and waiting around. She started walking upwards, when she felt his gaze upon her.

She felt like an animal caught in the spotlight unable to get away from it, and the man spoke, "You seem to get quite a reputation around here."

"To whom do I have the pleasure of speaking with?"

"HAHAHA, that is rich so polite you are little woman, my friends told me you were an extraordinary individual."

"You still have not given me your name."

"No, because it does not matter, but what does matter is this and I want you to listen closely. The Black Box is like a hell to people, and only the strongest survives in it. This place is like a powder keg. Set a light to it, and people dies, being slaughtered in the street. If there were to be a war in the building, I have heard rumors of the new king of "Icilia," wanting to bring the building down if that happens."

"He cannot do that, we do not hurt anybody outside of "The Black Box!"

"How long do you think that is going to last? I am just going to tell you straight up Elsa, yes, you have powers, but whatever you do, do not try to start a war in this building. It would be an ugly business for everyone within it."

With that, he went away, and Elsa shook her head and continued up to the main office of the syndicate.

She knocked on the door, but nobody answered and she slowly opened the door and went inside. Aldo was siting surrounded by shadow, and one wax candle. He was reading a book.

As Elsa stepped forward, he started reading aloud, "And then came the day when the king defeated the Djinn and they cried out in despair as they were sealed away, never to be seen again. The king apologized and told them that he had no choice, for the Djinn was too dangerous, as the war had proven to be. It was rumored that it was not all of the Djinn that had been captured, but there were still some running free, and to this day plots their return, although no one has ever seen the mighty Djinn since that age of legend."

"That sound quite interesting," Elsa said, and was waiting for Aldo to look at her.

"No, it is all nonsense and superstition. Djinn born of smoke and fire with powers beyond human comprehension. It is just a silly fairytale, and it is silly people that believes in such things."

"Why do you read about them then?"

"I read to know, because I want knowledge not for the sake of using it, but to just know more than anyone else. It keeps me in charge, and it keeps my mind sharper than a sword. Why are you here again?"

Elsa thought that he should know the reason why, but it was possible that he was just playing games with her.

"I want to tell you that I do not want bad blood between us Aldo. I want there to be peace."

"Peace, it such a fine word now is it not? Do you know what I have done?"

"Rumors."

"Tell me."

"You killed a princess."

"Yes, I did, and I raped her as well. Do you want to know why I did that?"

"Tell me."

"Because I love fucking I really do. I love women, and that bitch, when her father did not want to pay for her ransom but actively started hunting me; I killed her to get back at him."

"We humans are more complicated then we dare to admit. On the other hand, most people are not like you Aldo."

"Everyone can do the most horrible things to each other. Leslie is one of them as an example. Abused and violated, turned her into a person who has a fetish for killing people doing sex, why they are between her thighs. She loves it and hates it at the same time. She loves and hate her lovers at the same time. Her body is like a temple, where she invites people in only to change her mind and kill them. That are the people we are in this "The Black Box." Something brought you here as well. Hearing the tale of the Snow Queen of Arendelle made me quite interested in you."

"I think everybody knows about me now."

"Do they? Maybe they do, I cannot say and in other ways, I do not care, but what I do care about was the fact you made me loose face. I do not like that."

"Finally we come to the thing I wanted to talk with you about. Many people come to me and starts paying…"

"Tribute that really belongs to the syndicate," he finished.

"I wanted to start a kind of partnership with the syndicate."

"And what kind of partnership are you thinking about?"

"I could be the face of the syndicate, the person people can come to and…"

"No I am not interested in that sort of thing."

"Then what do you propose?"

"I do not know. All I know is that you made me loose face. Now people come to you to ask for a favor, something they used to do with me. I have nothing!"

Then he started laughing and said, "I guess that is karma for all the bad things I ever did in my entire life. Go to the closet and open it."

Elsa went over to it and opened it, and was met with a sight that almost made her scream, and when she turned around, Aldo was so close to her that she could not avoid the powder he blew into her face.

Elsa felt weak and numb, and heard a distant voice, "You are doing better than we ever expected you to do."

Her half-closed eyes fell upon the dead body of Aldo. Maggots were eating through his body and the stench was unbearable. If Aldo was there and dead, then who was the man she had been talking with now?

She looked up and thought she saw a face that reminded her of an ice statue she had seen before, but she could not quite place were that statue was now.

The man laughed and said, "Well, there is no way you are getting out of here alive! It is unbelievable with you, how you could be so blind to it all, but then again I always were a good actor. You are nothing but a shell Elsa, and yet you continue on, you are pretty much as I always imagined that you were going to be. Strong, beautiful and just like me in many ways."

Elsa tried to make sense of it all. Her brain fell two sizes too big for her skull, and she feared for her life. She kept on thinking that Aldo had been dead for what seemed to be a long time, so who was this man she had spoken to, that had disguised himself as another.

He continued, "Now Elsa, Aldo does not want anything from you, since that stupid fuck is dead, but I am going to tell you something because your way and mine goes the same way. Did you know that your sister has been locked up in "Corona," were I have some business to tend to? Before I depart from this place, there is one thing you should know; there is a secret tunnel underneath the building in the sewer tunnels. You can find it by the statue of a naked big-breasted statue."

Elsa heard the words, "Sewer tunnels, big breasted woman…"

Then Elsa passed out.

Chapter 80: Tom: The Children And The Shadow

Tom was sitting at the table and regretted not having gone with Elsa. He knew that she would be okay, as people within "The Black Box" feared and loved her at the same time, and even asked her to do favors for them, in exchange for gifts like "Items of Pleasure," but none of the favors had been done for them.

Elsa had counted on that she could gain the help and the trust of the syndicate, but he was now in serious doubt about that. Aldo was not a man that was going to take it lying down, after he had lost face, and as he waited for her, he did in the end lose his patience and decided to look for her himself.

He had not liked the idea of Elsa confronting Aldo alone, but she had insisted. Her beauty, her touch her warm personality was what he lived for. There were only a few women like that out there. No matter what she asked for she got, and Tom knew that if something had happened to her it would be his fault.

He saw himself in the mirror, and he saw them again. The children's eyes and their pale faces with the accusing eyes, followed his every movement, and he felt overwhelmed by it all. They were dead, and yet the images hunted his mind relentlessly, and without mercy.

Tom whispered, "It was not my fault. I did not know you were onboard."

Their mouth´s opened and the water ran out from their mouths, and Tom looked away. Having Elsa with him kept him sane through it all. With her gone, the children had returned to haunt him once again for that act at sea, that seemed a lifetime ago.

He looked at the mirror again, and saw something approach the drowned children from behind, it was a shadow, and Tom felt his heart filling up with fear, as the shadow looked at him with its red eyes.

"Another phantom?"

He refused to look at the mirror and left the apartment to search for Elsa. He knew where she had gone, and as he hurried to the syndicate´s main office, he saw people look at him, their eyes questioning where he was going.

He arrived at the syndicate's main office, and found his wife laying on the floor close to the corpse of Aldo, whose mouth was filled with maggots.

"Elsa!" he yelled out and ran towards his wife, his heart beating in his chest, as if it was trying to get out of him.

The stench from the corpse was unlike anything he had ever smelled before, a mixture of death and rot, and maggots, and the sight of it was brutal to look at.

By the look of it, Aldo had been dead for a while, and by the stench, he guessed it had been a couple of days. Tom was not going to spend another second near the corpse, so he lifted Elsa up into his arms as fast as he could and then he carried her outside of the office.

She was still breathing and he was relieved, but thousands of thoughts was trying to penetrate his mind.

What had happened, and why was Aldo dead and his wife unconscious?

He carried her through the floors, as bystanders stopped with what they were doing and turned their heads to see what was going on. He saw the children's faces in place of people's real faces. Tom knew that the traumatic experience was becoming a lot worse within his mind, and he hurried even faster to the apartment.

When he arrived, carrying Elsa and out of breath, he knew that he first was just going to allow her to sleep, and then he was going to ask her what had happened to her, and what they were going to do next.

Elsa was the one that came up with the ideas for everything after all.

Placing her down on the bed, he put the blanket over her, and sat down at her bedside. Her breathing was stable and her chest raised and lowered itself.

As he inspected her face with a closer look, there was something, which looked like dust, on her nose. He used his finger to wipe away the dust, and put his finger under his own nose and sniffed to it.

It was just as he thought.

Spending his early years as a knight had taught him the many ways, an enemy could resort to trickery. Upon smelling the dust like substance, he could smell the sleeping powder it was mixed with. Someone had used it on Elsa, and Tom was relieved that she was out of danger.

With nothing else to do but wait, he went out to the kitchen again. He took a sip of water and then he sat down at the table, and just waited. He looked at the mirror again, and the pale naked children was pointing at him, their missing limps a reminder of his own past.

A past he could never escape.

That incident had let him to "The Black Box," and he gladly stayed in it as long as he could be left alone. That was at least what he had thought first. He had always felt alive, when the wind blew though his hair with the smell of the sea, filling his nose drills. He had been a Captain upon the ship "The Holy Fist," as his ship had been fast and quick and armed to the teeth.

It had been a terror on the seas against pirates, and made a fine example to any fleet, of how a ship should be used. It was never in the frontlines doing battles at sea, but was always among other big ships, all waiting to pounce on the insignificant enemy.

Back then, he was payed for his duties and sold his talents to anyone who had the coin. He never lacked anything, and his men would follow him into death, which was in the end what they got.

That week he had been hunting down a ship that was rumored to be piloted by a pedophile, who loved to kill children after having his way with them, and Tom was bound by his own honor to kill the man, whose name was Ferak.

Ferak had been the commander of the ship "The Wailing Bitch," for a good fifteen years, and was rumored to be a skilled captain, that was not to be underestimated.

A sudden knock on the door pulled Tom out of his thoughts, as he went over and opened the door.

Leslie stood outside of it, dressed in a silky grey glittering dress, but Tom did not lower his guard. Leslie was dangerous with or without a weapon, as she was fast, and her strong thighs were known to have taken the lives of men and women alike, while she got a kick out of it.

She said, "Well, well it is Tom that comes to greet me at the door? I had been expecting Elsa."

"She is not here at the moment."

"You are not good at lying Tom, besides I asked if anyone had seen her and many said they had seen you hurrying away with her as fast as possible."

Tom was not going to deny it. It was difficult keeping something secret in "The Black Box."

Looking behind his shoulders and gazing upon the mirror, the shadow with red eyes were watching the scenery, and Tom felt helpless. The shadow and the children were not real; it was just a friction of his own imagination.

"What do you want here Leslie?"

"Edgar has lost it Tom. We have discovered the body of Aldo, and something tells me that it was not Elsa´s doing?"

"It was not."

"I am glad to hear it, but Edgar are of a different opinion about that, and no matter what happens now, it will all end in pain and suffering!"

"What are you talking about?"

"Aldo´s death has sent shockwaves of reactions throughout the Box. He is taking as many of the syndicate´s men as he can and gathers them to his side, while I have many men on my side as well."

"You mean?"

"Yes, war is inevitable and I cannot defeat him and his army alone. I suspect that a civil war within "The Black Box" will be rather good really. It cleans the filth out of The Black Box. However, I was reminded about you and Elsa."

"And you want us to take sides with you?"

"Yes, and before…"

The door flew open again and interrupted Leslie and Edgar came into the apartment and said, "Oh? So you are already here Leslie."

"So you had the same thoughts I had?"

"But of course dear Leslie. I do not want you to worry about recruiting Tom and Elsa now."

Tom saw it and he heard the shadow laugh, and he felt like his head was about to explode. It was all just a dream.

It had to be.

"What I am saying Leslie is that Elsa will be siding with me and not you."

"If you think for a moment."

It was getting too much for Tom but he had to say something: "Tell me why Elsa and I would be choosing either of you?"

Tom was angry.

He knew they were not going to leave her alone, and that was because they had seen what Elsa was truly capable of doing and they wanted her to side with one of them. To them Elsa was nothing more than a weapon to be used against other people.

Edgar said, "She is to choose me and I will make her a true leader of the syndicate.

Leslie said, "She is to choose me and whatever orders Elsa comes out with, will be followed through with."

Tom thought about all those people who was still awaiting to have their favors done, and Tom said, "The people come to Elsa when they ask for a favor. I guess I can trust you Leslie to uphold your promise to another woman, and make sure those favors are dealt with?"

Leslie smiled and said, "Of course, but I in return will also want some of those "Items of Pleasure" that you guys have."

Tom thought for a second and said, "Okay, that is a deal."

Edgar sent them both a look that could kill, then he walked out of the apartment, and Tom knew that no matter what happened next, there would be blood.

Before Tom could say anything, Leslie ran over to him and hit him so hard in the face that he became dazed and he fell as long as he was and hit the floor. Leslie leapt on top of him, and with her strong arms and hands held Tom´s arms down on the floor, so he could not move.

She said, "I have one thing I am going to say to you and Elsa though."

Tom could feel her legs tighten around his waist, as if he was a mouse trapped by a squeezing snake.

"If you or your pretty, little wife betray me, I will have both of you skinned alive, mark my words on that."

Tom´s gaze fell upon the mirror and saw the children pointing at him accusingly, and the shadow with the red eyes was looking at him, awaiting to see what he did next.

Tom could feel that his breath was being taken away from him and unable to breath, he was at the mercy of Leslie and he said, "Yes, that is understood."

Leslie was muscular and hit him hard and Tom saw stars once again, and felt something being ripped open.

He did not need to look for he could feel it. He could feel Leslie´s perversion and madness, as she sat down upon his exposed manhood, and let Tom inside of her, while she loosened her leg pressure a bit for him to catch his breath.

"Get off me!"

"No, I am going to ride the fuck out of you and if you do not do what I tell you to do when I tell you to do it, then I will tell you pretty, little wife that you fucked me and said to me that I was the best piece of pussy he ever had."

She lowered herself down towards his ear and moaned in pleasure as she rode him.

Tom wanted to kill her, as he was about to cum, but then Leslie got off him and said, "If you do anything stupid your dick comes off."

Leslie started sucking him and Tom came inside of her until there was nothing else left back in him, and Leslie showed him that she had swallowed it all, and then she said, "Remember, you do as I say, and Elsa will not know about this."

She got off him and left the apartment leaving a dazed and confused Tom on the floor as he slowly started to work on the fact that he had been raped and Leslie was going to use this against him.

He got up, went into Elsa´s room and lay down beside of her, his hands in hers and fell asleep, dreaming of the shadow, who held a knife to Elsa´s throat, and cut it open from ear to ear, while it's hysterically laughter echoed in the following darkness.
