Previously: "The text was from Amatis. "Clary. You need to leave the manor. Trashing this phone. Call Will tomorrow. Don't trust anyone."
Inside the box was her missing pair of rose-gold lace underwear that she wore on New Year's Eve, a missing scrunchy, multiple pictures of her sleeping, topless in the limo on New Year's, and her missing cell phone that she lost at the airport... after I bumped into Jonathan. He has my phone. Why didn't he return it? Clary started to tremble. She dug deeper and found her high school cheerleader picture and the topless sketch she had drawn for Jordan in Rome. What the fuck? Clary looked at the cheerleader picture again and felt terror begin to bubble up from her stomach. This picture was sitting in my parent's living room…how did he–?
Clary pocketed both of her phones and slammed the box shut, shoving it back under the bed. She rushed over to the couch and sat down, swallowing the urge to vomit. That is a fucking stalker box. She took out her old phone and turned it on, going to her voicemails. She saw the missed calls and voicemails from Simon, Jace, and her mother. Mom. She called me the day she died.
Clary put the phone to her ear to listen to Jocelyn's last voicemail. When the recording started tears filled her eyes at hearing her mother's voice. "Hi Clare-bear, why haven't you called me back, baby? You know I worry, love... You're probably already on your flight to Amsterdam now… Oh well remember to call– wait who are you? V-Val-Jonathan? Oh my god–…Clary baby listen to me don't come home... Let GO of me...Clary I love– Help! He–" Clary shot up off of the couch, slapping her hand across her mouth, stifling a scream.
Jonathan. He had been there before the fire that killed her. My Jonathan? He'd been there at her parent's house that day. No. He couldn't– But she said "Val and Jonathan"…Did he– did he start the fire? Oh my god. Her screams… she sounded terrified. Did he murder my parents? Does Valentine know? He has a box of… of me.
Amatis' words came back to her. "You need to leave the manor…Don't trust anyone...Call Will…" Shit. She knows something. I don't have Will's number. Clary gasped as she remembered him handing her his card at Edom and she zipped it in her purse. Think Clary. Get the card, call Will. I have to get out of here. What would dad do? The voicemail… it's evidence. She quickly texted her mom's voicemail to her current phone for safety. She rushed back to the box under Jonathan's bed and put her old phone back, shoving the box back under. She took a deep breath and walked over to the door to go back to her room and call Will. She turned the handle, but it was locked. Locked? What the fuck, Jonathan? Shit, he wanted me to wait in his bed for some sex game. Oh god. I almost slept with him.
Clary felt the terror building in her chest again. Her heart pounded. She had been friends with, confiding, dating, kissing, almost fucking the person who may have killed her parents. She started backing away from the door. She needed to search the room for a key and try to break out. She stepped back on to his pants, strewn beside the bed, and felt something solid beneath her foot. Please be a key. She picked up the trousers and pulled a small glass bottle of liquid out of his pocket. It was the size of a miniature booze bottle, like the mini vodkas she put in Izzy's Christmas stocking. The bottle was half empty. A cold chill ran down her back. He drugged me.
Clary's eyes flew wide. She had seen things like this before at NYU parties… party drugs, like ecstasy…date rape drugs. Oh god. Clary's eyes filled with tears as she remembered that Jonathan always made sure her glass was full… how he was always the one to fill the champagne… how pushy he was to get her to drink. How over the top horny I've been after drinking with him. Who the fuck are you, Jonathan? How could he do that to me, after I told him about Sebastian.
Clary shook her head and sat down on the bed. I need help. I need to leave…I need– I need Jace. Think. Clary pulled out her phone and texted her mother's voicemail to Jace. Evidence. She was starting to text him a follow-up message when the door opened behind her. Oh shit. It's him. She clutched her phone to her chest and ran a hand through her hair. Be cool. Don't let him know what you found. Don't trust anyone. She stood up and turned around with a fake smile.
Jonathan strode into the room, with a big grin on his face. "Clarissa, love. Why are you up? I thought I'd come back to find you asleep, waiting for me…" He walked up to her, cupping her face and kissed her lips. Clary smiled sweetly up at him as he wrapped his arms around her waist. No, no, no. She stiffened and slowly disentangled herself from him. He frowned. "Oh, sorry. I'm afraid I must have had too much to drink and woke up with quite a headache. I just wanted to go back to my room and sleep, but the door was locked, Jonathan. I don't appreciate being locked up. I should be able to leave if I feel like it… what if there was a fire?" She looked pointedly at him, anger building up inside of her. Fucking liar. Why were you at my house with my mom? Don't trust anyone.
He looked at her, his expression unreadable and took a step towards her, murmuring. "It's unlocked now Clarissa–" She jumped when her phone buzzed in her hand and she took a step backwards towards the door, not taking her eyes from him. Shit. Jace is probably calling. Jonathan smiled tightly at her. "It's nearly two Am. Who's calling, Clarissa? Did you want to take that?" He flicked his eyes behind her at the open door and then back to her. He looked like a predator about to strike. Clary began to tremble. "I– Yes, I'll go call them back in my room. Good night." She spun around quickly and hurried to the door. She was almost to the threshold when she felt him grab the back of her shirt and pull her backwards. The door slammed shut in front of her and Clary screamed as she saw two hands on either side of her head holding the door closed. Oh fuck.
Jonathan stepped up behind her, pressing himself flush against her back, caging her against the door. She could feel his chest rise and fall as his breath quickened. "Clarissa, it seems you are quite anxious to get away from me. What's the matter, love?" Clary closed her eyes and took a steadying breath. She turned around, pressing her back against the door and looked up at him. He looked wild, his dark eyes blazed lustfully down at her, flicking between her eyes and her lips. "Why don't we pick up where we left off, Clarissa?" He leaned his head down to kiss her lips and she quickly turned her head to the side. "No. I'd rather not, Jonathan. Please don't touch me again. I want to go." She saw his hand close into an angry fist against the door and Clary felt her heart begin to pound. Get out. Run.
Jonathan tilted his head at her quizzically as if he was trying to read her mind. "I don't believe that's true. Why don't we go sit by the fire and have a drink, love. Maybe some more champagne." He dropped a hand to her waist and pulled her roughly towards him. Clary felt irrational fury rise up in her at the mention of more champagne. Clary grabbed his hand, quickly spun him around, twisted the wrist behind his back, and kicked the back of his knees, so he fell down. Jonathan hissed in pain, as Clary seethed in his ear. "Why? So you can drug me again you fucking psycho?" She pulled the tiny bottle of liquid from her pocket, dropped it in front of him and shoved him forward, onto the floor. She spun around, opened the door, slammed it behind her and ran wildly down the hallway. Clary took a left at the first hallway she came to, and kept running. I have to hide and call for help. She heard the door slam open in the other hallway as Jonathan screamed. "Clarissa! That wasn't very nice!"
Clary exhaled as she slipped into a random bedroom in the dark hallway and quietly closed it. Barely able to see anything she felt her way to the bathroom and closed herself inside. She crumpled to the floor, in the dark, and pulled out her phone and saw a missed call from Jace. Shaking, she quickly called him back. While it rang, she heard doors slamming open up the hallway. Shit. He's going to find me. Clary nearly screamed when Jace answered. "Clary! Is that you? I got your tex–" She cut him off, whimpering into the phone. "Jace, listen to me. Jonathan has my lost phone that I lost at the airport…he– I think he's been stalking me. He's been drugging me, trying to get me to sleep with him. I think he killed my parents, Jace. Oh my god, I'm so scared. I'm h-hiding– he's going to find me and then– he's going to–" She started crying, trying to stay quiet. She could hear Jace's breathing increase. "Baby. I'm here. I'm in touch with Will Herondale. He called me, okay? We're coming for you. I'll get you, baby. I promise, Clary. I love you. Stay hidden and try to get–" Clary screamed as her phone was knocked from her hands, clattering across the floor, as the bathroom suddenly flooded with light. Jonathan glowered down at her, grabbed her arms, and jerked her roughly to her feet. "Ouch– Jonathan stop! Let go of me. I'm leaving–I'm going!" Clary screamed as he shook her violently, her heart pounding against her chest.
He gripped her upper arms painfully and pulled her against him. He looked furious and dangerous. Clary struggled, but it only seemed to anger him more. He shook her again and walked her backwards pinning her against the wall, with his hard angry body. He thrust his pelvis against her grunting angrily. He's fucking aroused. Sicko. Keeping her pinned with his hips, he grabbed her wrists in one hand and pulled a long black plush material from his back pocket. The belt to his robe… what the fuck? He quickly tied the belt tightly around her wrists. "No– Jonathan, stop it. Stop–" Clary struggled wildly but couldn't free her hands. He reached one hand up, gripping her jaw painfully. He shook her face, shaking his head angrily, his lips in a tight line. Terrified, Clary stopped struggling, her eyes filled with tears, and she trembled. "Jon– You're hurting me. Please, I want to leave." She tried to push against his chest with her bound hands, but could barely move with him pressed against her. Jonathan squeezed her jaw tighter and Clary whimpered and started to cry. He's going to break my jaw. He leaned down and leveled his face with hers. His crazed black eyes bored into hers. "You're not going anywhere, Clarissa. You are mine." He is insane.
Clary gasped loudly, as he suddenly released her jaw and reached behind her, grabbing a handful of her hair. She grunted in pain as he pulled her head back, pressing his body harder against her. She couldn't move. He kept his eyes fixed on her smugly as he raised the same little bottle of liquid that she dropped in front of him minutes ago, to his mouth and pulled the stopper out with his teeth. He spat it on the floor. Fuck. He's going to drug me again. Clary began to struggle wildly against him, clamping her mouth shut. Jonathan sighed in annoyance. "Clarissa, stop being so naughty and take your medicine." Clary squeezed her eyes shut and shook her head.
Jonathan growled and jerked her head back, hitting it against the wall. Clary saw stars and cried out. Jonathan quickly released her hair and squeezed her jaw again, pouring the liquid into her mouth. He then pushed her chin up, forcing her mouth closed. He pressed his forehead hard against hers and murmured a warning. "Swallow it, Clarissa." He continued to hold her mouth shut and slid his other hand into her bra. He moaned and groped her breasts for a moment, then twisted her right nipple painfully. Clary grunted in pain as he moved to the other nipple and pinched it viciously.
She began to sob under his hand as she felt the liquid slide down her throat. It tasted tart, reminding her of unripe strawberries. No wonder he's been so pushy with strawberries lately… It helped mask the taste. Fucking sick. Jonathan chuckled and released her jaw, but kept his hips pressed against her. "Aw. Now don't pout. It will make you feel so good, love. I'm afraid it's going to hit pretty hard, as it isn't diluted this time…" Clary turned her head, refusing to look at him, as he stepped back from her. Keep your shit together. You have to escape. She took a deep breath, and blinked her tears away, her voice shaking. "I want to go back to my room, Jonathan. My head hurts from hitting the wall and I want to change my clothes." He put his hand under her chin and gently pulled her face towards him. He brushed her hair away from her face and looked her over with concerned eyes, as if to make sure she was unharmed. She looked past him and spotted her phone on the bathroom floor, near the door. Get the phone and run. Be smart. He wants you. Use that.
She looked up at him and sniffled. He looked back at her, his expression softening, as if he hadn't just violently attacked her. He's crazy. How could I have been so fucking stupid? He sighed and looked down, untying her wrists. "Of course, love. I'm sure you want to freshen up after our unfortunate misunderstanding. We can go back together." Clary looked up at him through her lashes and smiled softly, nodding. "Yes. I'd like to shower and I think I need ice for my head…it hurts." Play him. He likes to be the one to take care of me. Jonathan sighed and wrapped an arm around her waist, tugging her towards the bathroom door. She looked at her phone on the floor. Closer. Jonathan stopped walking and Clary looked up at him. He stared at her, pursing his lips in annoyance. He looked down at the phone, then back to her. Shit. "I think you need a new phone, love." Clary jumped and yelped as Jonathan smashed it beneath his boot heel. Run.
Clary darted past him into the dark bedroom when she felt him grab the back of her shirt. She tore it open and shrugged out of it as the buttons flew off and kept running. Throwing the door open she ran into the hallway in her bralette and leggings. "Clarissa!" He roared behind her. She heard his boots pounding on the carpeted floor down the hall. As she approached the main staircase, she suddenly felt a wave of dizziness and stumbled. Shit. The drug. She grabbed the railing and ran quickly down the great staircase towards the main entrance. She looked over her shoulder and didn't see Jonathan, as she smashed into someone. Strong arms wrapped around her as she screamed and struggled, a wave of dizziness coming over her. No. The drugs.
"Clarissa, whatever is wrong? Why are you running? Wh- where is your shirt, dear?" Valentine pulled her against him, running his hands up and down her back soothingly. She trembled and buried her face in his shirt. "Help me, please, Valentine. He's after me. I need to l-leave. Go h-home. He drugged me— whoa…" Her legs wobbled and she started to fall. Valentine scooped her up into his arms and held her close. "There there, little one. I've got you." Clary's head began to spin and her skin to tingle, as she looked up at Valentine and blinked. What's happening?
She placed her hands on either side of his face, her words slurred. "My hero, Lucius Malfoy… don't let him get me. Oh my god. I feel so goddamn good, Val…" So dizzy…my skin is so hot. Clary felt a wave of desire roll through her lower stomach and she moaned, as the strong drug gripped her. Oh my god… I'm on fire. I need– relief.
Valentine smiled indulgently at her and chuckled. "Oh Clarissa. I have no idea what you're talking about. You are perfectly safe here, sweetness. You are home, afterall." Home? I'm home. Clary wrapped her arms around his neck and shivered. Why is he carrying me? He hoisted her up higher in his arms and Clary giggled as he cooed sweet reassurances in her ear. "No need to be afraid, little dove. You're right where you belong. Here. With Jonathan… and me. You're our little Idrian princess and we will never let you go…"
Clary shook her head and laughed, closing her eyes. "No Val-Val, I'm a Brooklyn princess… that's what Simon says… Get it? Simon says?" She felt his chest vibrate as he laughed. Clary felt another set of arms under her back and legs as she was passed to another person. She laughed and wiggled as a strong hand squeezed her thigh. So ticklish. She opened her eyes to find herself in Jonathan's arms, his angry eyes boring into hers. Oh shit. She pushed weakly at his chest, as he pulled her tightly against him. He pressed a kiss against her temple and murmured. "Got you."
Jonathan turned to take his woman back to his room… to my bed. She would need to be there for a while, chained if necessary. Clary whimpered and tucked her head against him. "Boo, Jonny. Meanie… oh god, I feel so fucking good." Jonathan chuckled and hoisted Clary over his shoulder, slapping her ass. She squealed then giggled, playfully slapping his back. "She's been quite receptive to our Faerie Nectar, father. It's definitely ready for distribution. Now, if you'll excuse us. I have to correct my naughty little Clarissa. I'm sure you understand that."
Valentine sighed and reached a hand out to stroke Clary's head, behind his son. "Indeed I do, son. Some advice… Do not harm her…be gentle with her punishment. You want her to want to come back to you… not run again. Don't make my mistakes." Jonathan hummed and nodded as Valentine looked down at Clary again, with a calculating look in his eye. "Why don't you take her to Jocelyn's room. The one we prepared for her, this past summer. It's still secure, no sharp objects or tools for which to escape or harm herself… or others. It was never dismantled after her death and still has many of her things. The thumbprint scan is still enabled. Perhaps Clarissa would enjoy looking through her mother's old trunks. She will be spending a lot of time locked in there, am I right?"
Jonathan ran his hand up and down Clary's legs and squeezed her ass possessively, as she moaned lightly and wiggled. The room his father spoke of was a hidden chamber, in a secret passage of sorts, just past the bedroom Clary was hiding in. Impossible to find, unless you know where the hidden keypad is. A thumbprint scan opens the chamber, letting someone in or out. An added bonus is that the room is soundproof. He stared at his father thoughtfully for a second. "I think you're right, father. Perhaps a change of scenery will be good for her, as well." Jonathan turned and walked up the staircase, with Clarissa over his shoulder, her long crimson curls bouncing.
Valentine watched her curls sway, mesmerized by them. She had felt good in his arms and he liked it when she asked him for help. The Fairchild emeralds looked beautiful against her bare skin. Just like they had on Jocelyn. Her firm, young breasts had pressed against him when he hugged her to him and he had fought the urge to carry her to his bedroom. Jonathan had come too quickly to retrieve her. Perhaps I'll pay our little Idrian princess a visit soon.
