Chapter 17

(Third Person P.O.V.)

Akihisa who was now currently Max Steel was wearing a tuxedo along with Yuuko who was wearing a backless black dress and matching flat bottom black shoes that exposed the insteps of her feet, the two were currently in a speed boat heading to a giant cruise ship in the Yellow Sea several hundred miles away from the Shanghai Port Terminal, while on the speed boat, Yuuko looked to Max and said, "It's a good thing my twin brother is having his engagement party here in Shanghai as the family of the girl he is getting engaged to, that of course being Hiromi Nakabayashi, the former Class Representative of Class 2-E from our old high school in Japan, wanted to go somewhere in another country for the Engagement party." From what Max could see, Yuuko's tone matches that of her facial expression.

Max just looked back at her and replied in a similar manner, "Yeah and that makes it easier for us to do our job, as we just use the excuse of us being here in Shanghai China for supporting your brother Hideyoshi to come here and complete this mission." Yuuko then looked at him and mentioned rather bluntly, "Yeah but we still technically have to also be here to support my brother as well, which we will after we grab and destroy the damn computer disc that this Chinese Triad gangster crime boss guy named Chang has in his possession and is trying to auction off to the highest bidder."

Max just rolled his eyes and silently agreed with his girlfriend as they arrive at the giant cruise ship where one of Chang's men was waiting for them in a special elevator that would take them up to the deck of the ship, they both then entered and got up on to the deck where two more henchmen were waiting for them and asked for their identification where they said they were the couriers for Senor Martinez of Columbia, to which they checked the list and saw that they were on it, they then had both Max and Yuuko walk through an X-ray device which doesn't see anything on Yuuko but does see something on Max's wrist, to which one of the henchmen asks, "What is that on your wrist?" cautiously but curiously, to which Max shows them his wrist watch and replies, "Oh, its the newest time piece by the company N-Tek, its not a solid gold or silver Rolex, but still pretty cool its shatter proof, water proof, and has a few other neat features, the works, you like it?" casually, the henchmen just looked at it as one of them said, "Oh yeah, I have one of those, yeah I love them, they're awesome. Alright then you two both can go now, you'll both be escorted to a private room and will stay there until either Senor Martinez has either won the auction or has dropped out." casually as both Max and Yuuko were being led to their room by two more henchmen.

While waiting in their designated room for a bit, Max and Yuuko were eventually informed by one of Chang's henchmen that Senor Martinez had won the auction and that the disc would be presented to them on the ship's deck before they leave.

Once they left the room and managed to acquire the Seraph computer program disc from Chang's henchmen, Max then crushed it in his hands and Yuuko threw down several hidden impact smoke bombs from her purse to cover their escape, Chang and his henchmen then see what looks like Max and Yuuko trying to escape in their speed boat and Chang orders his henchmen to go after them, however they don't know that the speed boat is being driven by a remote controlled drone that Kubo is operating from his computer console next to Roberto back at N-Tek HQ and that the Max and Yuuko in the boat are just holograms.

This was nothing more than a trap as the fake Max and Yuuko vanished from the boat altogether, the Federal Chinese Police in boats and helicopters surrounded Chang's giant cruise ship and all of his henchmen, arresting all of them and taking them in, meanwhile Max and Yuuko emerged from the water back at the Shanghai Port Terminal and reported a successful mission accomplished to Rachel who congratulated them both on a job well done before Max changed back to Akihisa Yoshii and taking the two of them to their next destination, which was the engagement party for Yuuko's twin brother Hideyoshi.

At the engagement party Yuuko and Akihisa were toasting to Hideyoshi and Hiromi's new union and then afterwards dancing with each other and enjoying the other festivities as well.

Akihisa and Yuuko were sitting at a table at the engagement party and talking as Yuuko looked to Akihisa and said, "Hey Akihisa, don't you find it kinda weird that we both moved to a different country and changed schools to get away from all of the people from our old high school in Japan, and yet here we are still interacting with quite a few of them and or people who are related to or have some kind of connection to them." curiously, her tone of voice matching her facial expression as Akihisa just looked at her and replied, "Yeah it is, but still at least we don't have to put up with any of their stupid bullshit any more, I mean when you think about it, fate really does have a strange sense of humor." casually with a smile on his face that matched his tone of voice, as Yuuko just looked at him and nodded while saying, "Yeah I guess it does, doesn't it." humorously with a matching smile on her face before she and Akihisa shared a deep and passionate kiss together.
