Act 2 Chapter 19 Encounter
9 Minutes Before
Running is what Denji had been doing for the last couple of minutes and try to find Reze the only thing was there was really no way he can track her he never trained in that since Devils do damage and he just follows the damage.
Sighing before going at a slower pace he was trying to follow the "why was there a girl with purple hair and apron crying." People talked a lot so trying to find her would be easier right? Nope. Some people were just giving him the wrong direction if he had any idea it would be a whole lot clear.
Running for just a bit more Denji starts to Notice the people around him stop looking at him in weirdness and replaced with emptiness and they kinda looked like dolls…what the hell.
Moving away from the dolls he hears the wind split apart on top of him and he jumps to dodge a sword slash by Quanxi who just in the moment slices all the dolls heads in the vicinity with speed boost that looks like she disappears and reappears back to where she was with the dolls all dying all around them.
"Are you Chainsaw Man?" Quanxi asked Denji and him being shocked on the situation and now having his cover blown kicked up to his feet and grabbed a knife from his pocket. It was only a pocket knife but at the moment it was all he had. Quanxi just raised an eyebrow as he just kept his ground. She shrugged her shoulders as she charged at him.
'Be unpredictable Denji' Rai runs through Denji's mind as he remembers many more times he's had to improvise as Rai said "being able to adapt fast is how you win a battle, strength isn't the only way to win a battle."
Running to meat Wuanxi on the sidewalk Denji jump over the horizontal slash to his abdomen and twist his body just for her second sword to skim him which caught her attention.
He managed to sneak behind her grabbing her neck and sword as he tries to back step he was stabbed in the back with a knife from a guy with a deranged Mohawk. Pushing past the pain Denji slashed at the man but was intercepted by Quanxi by her blade.
Realizing the losing battle Denji uses his left hand to try pull his lead in his cheats but that was cut by Quanxi.
Again Denji cliched as he finally got out of there range as he kicked off of the deranged man who grunted in return. Backing away to the other sidewalk across the street Denji just looks at the two.
"DENJIII!" Reze was heard screaming in the alley behind him.
"Reze." Denji managed to get out through his frustration, pain and disbelief turning into fear.
"Reze get out of here!" Denji yelled he wasn't going to be the reason she dies he couldn't be..
Running up to Denji who was crouched looking at his cut hand Reze looked on to see Quanxi giving her a special kind of stare until it was lifted.
"You're the Soviet best assassin aren't you." Reze eyes raised as Denji looked at her scared before looking at her eyes.
Rai told me that the eyes are the windows to the soul I didn't get him before but in Reze eyes he could see all the emotion from what he saw a the Coffee shop of…wanting to protect me and uncertainty in it covering every cm of her eyes.
"…" looking down at her shoes Denji asks "Can you help me…please." He continued to look at her shoes it was either she helped him and they survive and she will be a traitor to her country and home. The other option is they kill Denji and take Pochita then fight the others for Pochita that's what I'm assuming anyway. Uhh my head going to overload like Rai what the hell.
Denji looks at Reze as her eyes were open wide then she took his sword and raised it high above her head intending to strike Denji. Denji closed his eyes but Reze couldn't finish her job and lowered it to point at Quanxi and the man. "I'm with you Denji Forever." She had tears slip from her eyes as her left had the sword and used her right to grab his cut arm. Denji opened his eyes in relief as he stood up holding her hand it was warm he liked it a lot.
An stare off was what happened as Reze cut a bit of her finger to heal Denji who happily sucked which made her slightly blush but at the scenario there in she recomposed herself.
Denji regeneration took place as the limb started to grow back and they continued looking at the two.
Quanxi usually would not have stopped to talk but her girls were supposed to contact her but they weren't sending anything we're they in trouble or was she worrying for no reason. A battle cry was heard as Quanxi looked up to see a small girl with brown hair, red hair clips in a bun that leaves some hair to hit her neck which is currently flowing in the hair as she lands with a dagger at Quanxi head who parried it with the side of the blade as she bounced off next to Denji.
"Kobeni!" Denji exclaimed her name in total and complete surprise "how are you here?"
"Oh Captain Kishibe wanted to recruit me into his division and oversee my training he said I hand a lot of potential." Denji made an ooouuu face as Kobeni smiled at him then looked at Reze who looked kinda displeased.
"Who's she." Both Reze and Kobeni asked looking at each other going as far as even pointing at each other.
Quanxi who was watching just scoffed and charged gaining there attention. Two meters beside her was the man who wasn't moving until something inside of him did and started to speak through him.
"Lady Reze you are a traitor!" Catching everyone attention again as he started to morph as he exploded into a small typhoon which is pretty giant to normal people with a baby's face in the middle? Shaking the weird transformation everyone got ready for battle.
Reze pulls the pin on her choker exploding her head as it transforms into the nuke like head.
Denji pulls the lead as he starts to only transform into Chainsaw Man.
Kobeni grabs a second dagger from her pocket given from Kishibe as he was entertaining those girls with Quanxi. She holds them in a reverse grip it seems most appealing to her in a strange way.
Quanxi looked over at the transformed devil in distrust but the devil didn't look back instead setting its sights on the traitor.
"Help Me!"
"I Can't stop moving!"
"Help!"
To there sides and alleyways there were doll like people running at them making blades from there arms.
"Santa Claus" both Quanxi and Reze said as they look all around to see them approaching.
"If they touch you turn into a doll." Reze shot an silent explosive that blew an incoming group but the ones following them just overtook them.
"Wait are those real people!? We can't just kill them!" Denji through his more distorted voice said stopping Reze in her tracks about to send a barrage she lets her hand down.
"Hey! This things going after you too why not a truce!?" Denji asks planning to escape in the carnage to get these guys out of there trail.
"…For Now…" Quanxi lef out staring unconvincingly at Denji.
"Never!" Typhoon devil being the trained devil he is could never work with a enemy so in spite of what's better to survive he goes after Denji.
"Fuck's sakes." Denji jumps af Typhoon cutting massive chucks of his body same with Kobeni and Reze blows a solid piece that landed in an obscure alleyway. Transforming the soles of his feet into Chainsaw's he runs up the building while the other's like Quanxi and Kobeni had to jump from the side's of the buildings.
Dolls now approching go for the easier target being the Typhoon Devil cutting him down and down fast.
"Holy Shit!" Looking at these dolls demolish a devil so easily startle them they continued there screams and howls for help but knowing what they can and can't they jump over each a rooftop followed by a horde of Dolls.
Running and jumping onto another rooftop Denji looked back it seemed that he needed to regroup with Reze and Kobeni who were together while Quanxi was off by herself doing whatever she was doing.
Quanxi given time as most dolls swapped to going after Denji, scouted she wanted to find her girls who were near here. Jumping to rooftop to rooftop and slicing the occasional doll she made it to where Kishibe has tied them up with a rope he had in the trunk of his car.
Jumping from the higher rooftop she was to the one Kishibe was one it made a brief moments where Kishibe turned to her with all his attention on her.
"Hand them back Kishibe I'm not here to play games." Quanxi gave a glare that if Kishibe "didn't have a few screws loose" would have pissed himself. Though this startled him the normally stoic Quanxi was not here but something more akin to a silent rage was shown.
"Move and they get it." Kishibe grabbed the sword from his back it was a straight sword akin to when he started devil Hunter. Training with those weak fries with wooden swords got him in the mood you could say.
He lifted to the one with the exposed brain and eyeball.
"You choose death I see." She grit her teeth now her hair covering what Kishibe saw of her brown eyes as she grabbed what was behind the eye patch which was a blackened arrow?
'Is she one to?'
Quanxi threw it behind her as it sailed in the air it launched through her head as she started to transform growing more of those blackened arrows on her neck and what seems like a crossbow on bothe her arms.
Kishibe took the blade and went into a stance ready to fight the devil to the death if needed not like he would win. It would likely take a whole lot of him to take down normal Quanxi but this hybrid version is a death wish.
Charging Kishibe, Quanxi runs with even greater speeds only to be interrupted and punched in the face by a blond boy with a white lightning bolt on his hair. She skidded on the rooftop but she caught herself as she looked at her new opponent.
"Captain you alright!" A incoming Rai joins the battle!
At home with Aki, Katsuki, Shoto, Himeno, Power and Meowy who were lazing around just leisurely talking about general things everything was alright until both Katsuki and Shoto got a simultaneous message by Rai which it's caption was "HELP!" Sitting up quickly Katsuki reads through the brief message and so does Shoto.
"There's people after Denji and they seem to be on the other side of the city Rai sent me a message." Katsuki yelled it startling all of the inhabitants. He got off the couch and went to grab his shoes followed by everyone else. Everyone had just either a sweatshirt or a normal t-shirt and jeans they seemed to be popping these days.
Piling out of the home they all saw the plume of smoke and dust filing up the air it was a long way just with a car and a run would be even longer. An idea in Aki's head was light as he made the fox handsign as he said "KON Full Body" soon a giant Fox appeared as it nodded its head.
Others shocked while some of the others just grinned as they jump on top of the devil as it prepares to take off.
"Full Speed." At Aki's call the devil strides as fast as it can as it skips and leaps through multiple buildings.
"We're Coming." A collective thought…other than Power "THE GLORY WILL BE MINE!"
Denji, Reze and Kobeni now on a single roof we're in the middle as multiple dolls came they rite her had to kick them away to slice them which didn't make it any easier as their screams just hurt them. They hold the line specifically after they find out devils and hybrids don't get turned into dolls. With a little formation of Ms Boom boom and Chainsaw Boy being in either side of Kobeni while she picked off fodder.
This seemed to go on until some guy popped out of a doll of a big guy having avoided a slash from Denji he stabs him 3 times consistently as Denji kicked him away noticing why he was even doing it. "Curse Devil."
"Hey you bastard! Are you the Guy sending these dolls at us!" His distorted voice was heard as both Kobeni and Reze were getting overrun with some getting to close for comfort.
Tolka meanwhile made assessments on this Chainsaw Man 'This boy has confidence not overconfidence he is clever and can clearly improvise on the fly, strong, fast…I would struggle getting this last nick without Master.'
From the fire exit on the side Tolka is there was the dark haired women named Master as she controlled all her dolls to stop as she walked up to roof and standing next to Tolka. "Question do any of you know how to make a Sophisticated doll ?" she was left in silence mostly from the wary opponents but Tolka just kept a straight face as she walked up to him
"Take the Human You'll turn into a doll…" she stopper for a breath,
"…And only add Emotions only Humans have."
"Pity"
"Adoration"
"Worship"
"And the secret ingredient GUILT" She laid her hands on his over to his chest as he started to curl outward and groan incoherent swears. Then turned emotionless as he stared into them.
"You failed me Tolka but you have to take what you can take."
At those all Denji, Reze and Kobeni got into stances ready to charge her as she said something else Tolka mirrored and and older man seem to mirror but making his hand into a blade "I O-Offer my Heart and my beloved children…in exchange…"
"Hell Devil…"
"Please call all living things 100 Meters from my current position" only the blue haired girl called Master said this "Except Me"
"To Hell"
With that a Centaur looking Devil spawned as it grew to absorb every living thing to Hell as they were teleported into a black space.
They saw each other the were all in a circle.

Rai having been transported into a black void with a whole bunch of people just went through all his knowledge as his eyes widened significantly.
