Kitana and Mileena

"Have you heard?" Jade asked Kitana, her mask though hiding her jaw well, was doing nothing to conceal her voice drenched in worry.

And though only half of Kitana's face was visible as well, her eyes told all that they needed to hear. Her brow beating down on her scrunched up face "I have." she answered, her voice just as concerned and worried as her friends.

The realms undone. Warriors from across all sides clashed in Kombat. Endless karnage and kombat followed with no end in sight. What's worse, no doubt this will spill into Edenia and Outworld as it had to Earthrealm where it may have originated. Kitana had thought to wait for Raiden, but when he ventured forth with Fujin to seek the source of this outrage, she had lost her chance and she had not heard from him since. No one had. From there she had thought to meet up with Liu Kang before he went to search for Raiden himself, but events forced his hand at the Wu Shi Academy and he and Kung Lao went forward to try to find their godly mentors and the source of it all on their own. And here she was, a realm away in her palace. Waiting.

But she knew she couldn't do that any longer. Not now when everyone else was out there fighting instead. They needed her no different than her people here. She had to join them in this fight. To aid them and protect Edenia. It's what a Kahn would do.

"What can we do? With all of them lost." Jade let out near hopelessly.

"I must lead the charge." Kitana proclaimed, her voice determined, her posture regal "To protect Edenia." And to aid the others.

"You do not mean to go alone." Jades concerned showed again, stepping closer to her.

"Of course, not." Kitana said, her voice lighter now, the edges of her mask turning upwards due to the smile beneath it. She reached out her hand to take Jades in her own "For a calamity such as this. If I'm to venture out into it, I cannot do it alone. If Liu Kang and Raiden needed help themselves then I will not go alone either. I will need only the bravest, strongest and most loyal at my side." she declared, and she could see Jade's mask widening as her smith grew beneath it "If I'm going, I will need you-"

"Sissterrr!" a high-pitched wail screeched through the castle. The two flinched and shuddered as it echoed off the walls of the palace and permeated everywhere else.

The remarkable glass windows hand crafted for the royalty of the palace shattered above them and its shards sprinkled down onto and around them like snowflakes. The two eventually slouched back up and their eyes locked. Gone was the joy and happiness they just shared to overcome their fear and had it replaced with a blank tired, droning glare of dread. Possibly worse than before.

"Sissttteerr!" the voice cried out again, in a voice that would make ears bleed. Kitana's left eye alone twitched at the sound of it, for this time it much closer and therefore louder than before.

They heard the offbeat clatter of a prance around the corner and then it stopped all at once.

"Sister!" the voiced hissed from behind them for the final time "There you are!" she let out as Kitana's eyes now blinked out of sync. They both turned to see who was standing in the hallway leading to Kitana's Kouncil chambers. Though they already had an idea and needed no introductions.

Standing in the doorway was a woman identical to Kitana in nearly every way, save for the purple she wore instead of blue and her shorter hair. The main difference between them truly is what's beneath her veil. It was Kitana's 'sister' Mileena, though the word may be a strained, but ever since their last victory once Kitana took her rightful place as Kahn, Kitana took her in as well and allowed her a life inside the palace. They were 'related' after all, though there was still much to do on Kitana's behalf for her, ranging from etiquette to common decency. When pressed upon it, Kitana said they were half-sisters. Mileena meanwhile insisted they were full sisters. Jade had no time for nomenclature.

Mileena stood in the doorway wide eyed yet looking suspiciously at the two inside. Though she wasn't alone in doing so. Cradled in her arm was a teddy bear whose beady black eyes showed more care than its owners orange Tarkatan ones.

"What are you doing sister?" she asked as she came forward into the room, the thumping of her heels sounded like the beating hoofs of a wounded or crippled fawn "Playing Teatime? Ha!" she spat "That's for babies." she said scornfully as she stroked her teddy bear on the head affectionately. Kitana and Jade exchanged a knowing glance before looking back to Mileena. Mileena would bark loudly and often on certain topics thinking herself automatically right or 'setting things straight' and would not handle any criticism against her. But more often than not she was an extra burden or distraction they put up with. But this was par the course for dealing with and reacting to her. And her 'sister' was never aware of it.

"It is not that Mileena." Kitana said as she broke her hold with Jade and turned to face her sister fully. "These are important matters we discuss." she said, talking down to her as if it was to a small child.

"Pah!" Mileena hacked "You make everything sound important. Most of its just a waste of time." she said as she waved her free hand dismissively and then used it to make the teddy bears head nod in agreement with her.

Jade remained silent as this was Kitana's matter to deal with "This is so matter to be taken lightly." Kitana insisted "Whatever this threat is we have no choice but to go out and deal with it."

Mileena's eyes once wide and full of some semblance of vibrant life suddenly turned suspicious and growing smaller, she peered in towards Kitana.

"Whose going?" she squinted, her voice hissing through her teeth.

"I am." Kitana answered confidently putting a hand to her chest proudly before she then reached out to place that very same hand onto Jades's shoulder "And Jade will acco-"

Mileena's attitude and demeanor changed suddenly, and her outburst showed it.

"If you're going, I'm going too!" she dramatically declared not allowing Kitana to finish her sentence. And no matter what Kitana had said or tried to say, or what word Jade tried to get it, it got her nowhere as Mileena kept cutting her off whenever she tried to refute her.

Kitana let out a sigh. It hadn't even started yet, and she could already tell this was going to be a long journey.

Chun-li and Cammy

A mighty roar from a demon was cut short by a sudden oncoming kick to it that sent it straight to the ground where it did not get up from. Another roared in its place but was cut down by a fist that swung out sending it stumbling back. Another bare leg then swung up from the ground upwards and hit the demon in the head sending it on its back to the ground. A third then charged forward as the leg came back to the ground. But Cammy was ready for this one.

Putting her arms out she reached out and grabbed the demon right as it tried to snatch her itself. But swinging herself up she came off the ground coming up and over the demon as her hands held onto its shoulders. Swinging over to the other side, the moment her feet hit the ground she threw her arms up with the demon in them and flung it away sending it hurling through the sky and away from her as she came to her knees.

She rested for a moment on her knees as she let out a few spared breathes.

"Harlot." a new voice spoke. Though this one was not guttural and evil like the others she faced, but calculated and robotic. Quickly standing up and turning over she came face to face with a white cybernetic humanoid figure "For the Lin Kuei!" it declared before it lunged at her.

Cammy braced herself for the attack as it came at her. But right as it was about to be blocked by her, it was struck by something else. Another leg that swung out colliding with the and sending it flying back knocking into the wall and shattering into pieces.

Cammy was grateful for the assist though not surprised by it. For she knew exactly who it was. Easing herself out of her fighting, stance she looked over as the leg came back to the ground. Once it was the women who swung it made sure the threat was eliminated before turning to Cammy with a smile.

"Chun-li." Cammy said.

"Cammy." she did the same "I'm glad I found you." she said taking a step forward "And not too soon." she said looking around at all the discarded defeated bodies around her. Hideous demons every single one of them, save for that last entry.

Cammy patted her hands together "No closer to figuring this out, though." she said frustrate before putting her hands to her hips "Seems you're still in top form." Cammy managed a compliment with a grin.

"We'll have to be," Chun-li told looking to her friend before looking gravely around "for this."

"You make it sound like we'll need help then." Cammy said almost curiously.

A reassuring smile came across Chun-li's face "It's a good thing I found some then."

A bit of confusion came over Cammy's face since the way Chun-li spoke it sounded like it wasn't anything Cammy would know of. Something new "And where are they?" she asked.

"Waiting for us." Chun-li replied.

"Waiting?" Cammy repeated "And where will we be going?"

"That's the next thing I found." Chun-li said as her hand moved to her side.

"Hm?" Cammy let out as Chun-li produced a small metal disc that fit perfectly into the palm of her hand. A small communicator unfamiliar to Cammy reinforcing her previous thought. The device in Chun-li's hand shined a pink glow and above it a figure began to form in a hologram. It revealed not a complete figure, only the top half of a woman, decked out in military gear.

"Special Forces." she announced in an iron voice. She sounded unwelcoming, but it's where Chun-li said they had to go.

"Sonya." Chun-li said in an opposite tone "It's me." This woman, Sonya's demeanor changed if only slightly.

"Good to hear from you. Any closer to the base?"

"Not yet." she shook her head "But I'll be there soon." she reassured her "Now that I've found help." she finished looking over to Cammy who nodded back. Rotating in the hologram in her hand Sonya looked up to see the woman Chun-li had spoken to her of.

"And who's this?" she asked looking up to her.

"Cammy White. Delta Red." she replied bringing a glove up to tighten it.

"Alright, if you say she's an asset I'll take it." Sonya said before turning back to look up at Chun-Li "You on your way?"

"We'll make out way there now." she confirmed with a nod.

"Well get here soon." Sonya warned and had more to say with it "It's getting worse out there. The longer this goes on and the more the realms become merged the longer the journey gets, if you get here at all." Cammy's eyes went up from the hologram to Chun-li, and they shared a serious intense stare. It seems things really were bigger and worse this time "And try to stay in one piece." Sonya added at the end.

"Understood," Chun-li nodded.

"Sonya out." she said before disappearing from the communicator and the pink shade vanished leaving nothing yet again.

"She seems patient." Cammy said as their focus went up to each other again.

"She has information we need." Chun-li said putting the communicator away "On what caused this."

"Does she?" Cammy mused crossing her arms "How about who did it?"

"That's where I think we come in."

"Hm." Cammy nodded for she and Chun-li were clearly thinking the exact same thing. The exact same culprit "Alright then." she relented uncrossing her arms "Special Forces it is right?" she asked and Chun-li nodded.

"And another one. The Outer World Investigation Agency."

"Outworld." Cammy mused aloud as she dropped her head to think "I encountered some warriors claiming to fight for that very place."

"Well, the ones we're going to are there to investigate it."

"Hm." Cammy let out "Seems they'll have their work cut out for them." she admitted.

"No less than us." she agreed.

"Well Special Forces," Cammy said again before looking up to Chun-li "Sounds like well fit right in."

"We'll have to get there first." Chun-li said "And it won't be easy." It seemed the longer this went on the stronger the warriors they would encounter.

Cammy grinned "So we're at it again this time? Let's go."

Whatever was going on, they would solve it together. They just had to get there first.

But even they knew it would be a long and dangerous road, but it didn't deter them. Now that they were together.

Kitana and Mileena Fight Your Rival! Kanzuki Estate!

Leaving Jade and Kotal in charge of Edenia may have been the most comforting part of this all. But once she left it, well she only had to find out what awaited them.

And only one other person to confide in.

They found themselves in a large estate; one perhaps to rival the palace of Outworld back home. It was of Japanese design with rivers within the compound, mountains in the distance, houses all around them with rose red and peach colored lanterns to light the way through the night. Charming as it was, Kitana walked through warily, as if behind any building or lying in any shadow a mysterious enemy could be hidden ready to trike at any moment. She was on edge, as if any moment something or someone could strike out at them as had happened so many times already on this journey. Mileena, by contrast skipped through as if she had no care in the world. She was a few paces ahead of her sister and likely to get farther, if Kitana also hadn't been keeping an eye out on her as well.

"Mileena," she said, straining her voice as she looked around "do not get too far ahead of me." Stopping Mileena turned back and put her hands on her hips.

"If this was a race, I'd win." Mileena pouted and called back to her but stopped none the less.

"It is not." Kitana strained her voice as she walked forward to catch up with her and the two now walked side by side at a slower more cautious pace.

"You just want to find your boyfriend faster." Mileena mocked and the top half of Kitana's visible face went red, not from blood but blush.

"I told you-" she said putting up a front "There are more important things to discuss." she insisted, though it was Liu Kangs disappearance that compelled her outside of her palace after all. Mileena was more observant than many guessed and with no sense of manners would say things openly.

"If you were not so slow, we would be there by now." Mileena nagged as they walked. Kitana then got over her near embarrassment to scold her again.

"You're the one who keeps wanting to stop." Kitana said turning over to her, but when she did, she didn't see Mileena's face as she was preoccupied with looking over the bridge to see the running water beneath it. Something they had no time for "Come on, let's go!" Kitana grabbed her and dragged her off, and they walked off side by side again.

"But I want to see my pretty face." Mileena protested cupping her own "And maybe grab a fish to eat." she gurgled then grabbing her open and flat stomach as it grumbled.

"Oh Mileena." Kitana sighed as they walked forward together. She kept scanning the surrounding areas with her eyes. But it seemed no matter where she turned her head or wherever she looked there was nothing to be had. That was, of course, save for those two women up ahead on the other side of the bridge. But they were hunched up to each other, looking down at what one of them held in her hands. And with their backs to them, Kitana hardly thought anything of them.

Up ahead, the two women were trying to find their way as well.

"Are you sure it's this way?" Cammy asked Chun-Li, her arms crossed as Chun-Li remained focused on the communicator in her hand.

"I was certain it was," Chun-li began but then her face scrunched up in doubt "but.." she paused "maybe things are worse than we thought." she concluded ominously.

"Then we have less time." Cammy concluded herself.

"But with no way of telling where to go next what do we do?" Chun-li asked putting her hands on her hips and looking down, pondering silently to herself. Cammy was silent herself, but eventually came up with a -simple as it was- answer.

"Might as well ask for directions." Cammy said somewhat optimistically. Looking up, Chun-li saw that Cammy was looking past her. Looking back over her shoulder she saw two women approaching them. Strangely dressed perhaps, with near matching costumes and veils though they came in different colors. The one to the right wore blue and had her hair tied up neatly as it still long enough to fall down her back, while the other wore purple and let her shorter hair fall down wildly.

"Worth a try. What could go wrong?" Chun-li said happily as she walked towards them, their paths now intertwining. "Excuse me," she began politely as she approached the two of them, being closer to the one in purple, but speaking to both "we're looking for the Special Forces Headquarters have you-"

"Better keep looking then!" Mileena snapped and when she did the distinct sound of her jaws snapping shut was like that of an alligator clamping down it prey. The two women backed away from them startled as if she was a rabid animal, but she just let out a mischievous ugly little cackle at that and the two princesses continued on their way as the two they passed recoiled and then walked on.

"Mileena!" Kitana scolded softly in a disappointed tone and quickly getting her attention "That was very unbecoming."

Mileena only let out a grumble from her mask. Her gaze was laser focused as she squinted and peered at Kitana beside her. She couldn't race ahead; she couldn't stop for food, and she couldn't have a conversation. It led her to a natural conclusion "You're no fun sister."

"This isn't about fun." Kitana began to lecture. But whatever Kitana said in response to that Mileena did not hear. Kitana's voice and all other sounds faded, and she stopped suddenly in place when she overheard the two women they had passed exchanging words behind them.

About her.

"That was rude." Chun-li said.

"Yeah." Cammy agreed, her voice full of pomp "Well," she continued on as if it hadn't happened "best get going. We've been here too-AH!"

The two women let out a shriek when all of a sudden, they were face to face with Mileena again.

"What'd you say bitch!" she shouted at them, her mouth opening very widely under that veil.

"Ah you again!" Chun-li let out.

"Ugh" Cammy let out reviled "What bad breath." Cammy covered her mouth in disgust.

"WHAT?!" Mileena shrieked, and she lunged at them only to be pulled back just in time when Kitana had come to grab and try to restrain her sister.

"Mileena!" she shouted grabbing a hold of her from behind and continued to restrain her as she tried to punch, kick or even bite at them "I'm sorry about this!" she spoke apologetically over her sister towards Cammy and Chun-li as Mileena continued to try and fail to swipe at them with her hands and feet "She's usually not so, so- "and then she stopped short becoming confused even herself. As if she was talking about a dog and not a person, let alone her own sister. Eventually, she settled on one but was unsure of the word even to herself "enthusiastic." The wording caused Chun-li and Cammy to exchange perplexed looks, as if they didn't understand any more than Kitana. In that moment Kitana managed to drag Mileena back and hung her arm over her, keeping her in place as she interrogated her. "What are you doing? Are you trying to get us into trouble here?" she said hushed and low to her.

"They said something mean about me!" Mileena shouted loudly back at her for all to hear.

"You were mean to them." Kitana's voice rose steadily.

"But I'm pretty!" Mileena shrieked.

"Mileena we ha-" in a fleeting moment Mileena ducked under and popped out from her sisters grasp and scurried back over to Chun-Li and Cammy "Mileena!" Kitana called out as she grasped out but just missed her as she was now standing before the other two and squaring up to them.

"Come on then." Mileena growled, her jaw snapping like a bear trap "I'll make you eat those words!" she put her fists up.

"You seem like you wanna eat them yourself" Cammy said as she complied with Mileena, her comment only enraging her further.

"Seems we have no choice now." Chun-li said mimicking her. At this point a distressed Kitana rejoined them and stood side by side with her sister.

Seeing they had come too far now; Kitana rolled her eyes and took a stance identical to her sister.

"We'd get there faster if we just followed my idea." Kitana sighed aloud. Looking over she saw Cammy and Chun-li ready to take them on. Seeing the two women dressed in green and blue, she wondered how much easier this would have been if she had done this with Jade instead. It might not have changed anything, but it would have certainly made it easier than who she was with now and who had gotten her into this fight. Resigned and ready for this right she went into it head on with her sister Mileena.

And then the two groups charged the other.

Chun-li and Cammy Fight Your Rival! Kanzuki Estate!

The estate was so large it takes a chartered plane to arrive here. Yet here they were managing to get in on foot of all things. And that couldn't have been a good sign. Along with the dreaded silence of the estate itself. Cammy stood stiffy as Chun-li paced before her, getting a look around the estate before turning back to walk by Cammy and look the other way. With nothing to be found on that side either she turned back to pace and look again. Cammy's eyes followed her as she kept passing by her.

Finally, Chun-li stopped but the distressed look on her face didn't leave and neither did Cammy's eyes watching her from behind.

"No sign of Karin." she said worried.

"Or Birdie, Ibuki or R. Mika." Cammy added with her head bowed.

"I don't like the feel of it." Chun-li said.

"I didn't expect to come here at all." Cammy said pushing herself up as Chun-li turned around to look at her "You said this was the way to the Special Forces."

"It was, I was sure of it. That's what it said." she said as she brought the communicator out once again to reach Sonya. Cammy came up to view it as well. The problem was that nothing happened. "Hm?" Chun-li let out as Cammy leaned in closer. Both of them focused in on the communicator, but no hologram sprouted from it. "Sonya?" Chun-li called "Sonya, can you hear me?" Chun-li asked but received nothing in reply. "Sonya!"

"I hear you!" Sonya shouted back not out of anger, but out of frustration for her voice was covered in static and if not for her yelling hard to hear.

"It seems what you said is true," Chun-li said "It's gotten worse. In fact, we got a little lost from the interference." she said looking up and around. There's no way they'd end up at the Kanzuki Estate otherwise.

"That's no good." Sonya said coming in only a bit clearer now "Do you know how far you are?"

"We'll find a way." Chun-li confirmed.

"We'll talk more when you arrive. Just make sure-" Sonya was cut off alarming Chun-li. Before she could say anything else she vanished from her view shocking the two she left behind. Whether it was the deepening ties of the realms and the interference brought from them or something going terribly wrong at the base she didn't know. But either way she knew it wasn't good.

"That can't be good." Cammy said aloud mimicking Sonya's sentiment. From Karin's and the others unknown whereabouts and no contact to be made with the Special Forces, it made them feel powerless. And blind. It only reinforced how bad everything was getting. "Are you sure it's this way?" Cammy asked Chun-Li, her arms crossed as Chun-Li remained looking down, focused on the transponder in her hand.

"I was certain it was, but.." she paused as doubt settled in all over her face "maybe things are worse than we thought." she concluded ominously looking up to Cammy.

"Then we have less time." Cammy concluded.

"But with no way of telling where to go next what do we do?" Chun-li asked putting her hands on her hips and looking down, pondering silently to herself. Cammy was silent herself, but eventually came up with a simple answer.

"Might as well ask for directions." Cammy proposed sounding optimistic. Chun-li brought her head up as well and looking past Cammy, she saw two people approaching them after crossing the bridge of the estate. They did not look like they worked here, but they did not seem to be causing a ruckus either. After all many from all sides had been displaced by the events. And given the way these two carried themselves in a practically regal manner she saw no reason not to at least try it. Looking at them, the two of them were perfectly identical, save for the way their hair fell and what they wore. The one in blue was long while the other was short. They were wearing extravagant if not revealing attire and their mouths were blocked off by their masks. Seeing them Chun-li thought for a moment if the one in purple was wearing green, they would be perfect matches for her and Cammy.

"Worth a try. What could go wrong?" Chun-li said happily agreeing with Cammy. She then took a step forward towards the two women as Cammy followed behind her. "Excuse me" she began politely as she approached the two of them from the side as they came close to walking by them "We're looking for the Special Forces Headquarters have you-"

"Better keep looking then!" the one in purple cut her off and snapped at her with her jaws sounding like that of a closing bear trap that almost caught Chun-li in it. Chun-li flinched back as Cammy was ready for something else to follow that outburst; a fight given all the others they had come across. But instead, the woman in purple reared her head back and laughed as they walked by. The laugh was cut short by the woman beside her in blue.

"Mileena!" she scolded getting her attention back on her.

Cammy and Chun-li watched them go, with Cammy dropping her guard as they two got further away. The one in blue chastising the one in purple; this Mileena.

"Well, that didn't go as planned." Cammy sighed "But I guess it could have gone worse." she admitted. After all every other encounter followed up with a fight.

"That was rude." Chun-li said.

"Yeah." Cammy agreed as she came up beside her with her hands to her hips, but like Chun-li eyed the two women walking away "Well," she continued looking now to Chun-li and ready to move on "Best get going." she said as Chun-li looked back to her, which meant that they didn't see someone sprinting back towards them, but they did hear the sound of feet furiously running through the estate "We've been here too-AH!" she let out a shriek with Chun-li as all of a sudden Mileena returned and pounced at them.

"What'd you say bitch!" she shouted at them, and it looked like her jaw was stretching her veil to its maximum extent.

"Ah you again!" Chun-li exclaimed, caught off guard by her sudden reappearance.

"Ugh!" Cammy gagged and quickly covered her mouth "What bad breath."

"WHAT?!" Mileena shouted but was suddenly grabbed from behind and restrained by Kitana.

"Mileena!" she scolded grabbing a hold of her and continued to restrain her as Mileena struggled in her grip, trying to break out and take her anger out on Cammy and Chun-li in any manner she could. Whether it be arms legs or even.. teeth? "I'm sorry about this" Kitana fretted speaking apologetically over her sister towards Cammy and Chun-li "She's usually not so, so.. " she then began to trail off, unsure of what to say to explain all of this "..enthusiastic." she eventually seemed to settle on unsure of the word itself. Chun-li and Cammy looked to each other now wondering what they had gotten themselves into this time.

Finally, with a tug and a mighty effort following it, Kitana dragged Mileena off to talk to her. Cammy and Chun-li at first were curious as to what was being said, as the two huddled close to each other with Kitana holding Mileena in place. Curious as they may have been eventually, they decided against it. They had more pressing concerns and while they were wondering if this would be a good time to leave, they didn't want to put their backs to them just yet.

"Are you keeping track of all this?" Chun-li asked.

"Not in the slightest." Cammy admitted unamused by it all.

Right as they admitted they couldn't get a handle on it, Kitana lost hers on Mileena who came back before the two ready to settle this once and for all.

"Come on then! I'll make you eat those words!" she put her fists up.

Chun-li spared a look at Cammy who responded to Mileena first, tired of dealing with this.

"You seem like you wanna eat them yourself."

"Seems we have no choice now." Chun-li said mimicking her. It was two on one now, but right as they readied for their fight Kitana arrived last to the scene. Though tired in her eyes she resigned herself to this fight but not before one whisper of a comment to Mileena.

"We can't let you two stay in our way." Cammy said "If you don't move we'll make you."

"I am Mileena Princess of Outworld!" Mileena boasted.

"And I am Kitana Kahn." She declared proudly.

"Outworld?" Cammy repeated shocked.

"Invaders." Chun-li said eyeing Kitana.

"Maybe this won't be a waste of time after all." Cammy said. One enemy gone was one less to deal with. Then together hey charge at them.

Sub-Boss Necalli Hour of Battle! Kitana and Mileena

Just as they rid themselves of those other two something else crawled into their place. The sound of water beneath the bridge they crossed over, became disrupted as if something was caught in it. It got both of their attention, and they turned back towards it.

"Fishy?" Mileena asked peering over her shoulder. But looking back they could see it was not that.

Sprouting up from the water was a great feral man-like creature. Standing in the water under the bridge shadows his it's form, but its eyes glared at them. Then hurling up from the water and onto the plans he crouched low before coming up and turning to them letting out a few animalistic snarls as he did.

"This one is pure." Necalli gurgled looking to Kitana who stood with up straight with her arms crossed behind her back. Her posture was stiff, but her eyes gazed back at him curiously. Then his eyes then shifted to Mileena as did his observations "This one tainted." he said looking to Mileena who lurched forward as he did and growled in reply "Yet their souls are identical as are they." he said taking a step forward "But they will be mine."

"You will have nothing from me beggar!" Milenna took a proud step forward to slam it down and bark at him.

"Mileena." Kitana scolded coolly from behind her, as she kept her arms behind her back and her eyes to what was before them.

Mileena lashed back to Kitana "I did not start this fight!" she shrieked defensively as she pointed to Necalli "He has called for it." Over her mask Kitana's eyes watched Necalli. Stepping forward she passed Mileena.

"This one I believe deserves his fate." Kitana said stepping forward as she brought her arms forward and her fans out.

"Yesss." Mileena hissed in agreement as she crouched down low beside her "He will bow before us!"

Sub-Boss Necalli Hour of Battle! Chun-li and Cammy

No sooner had they rid themselves of that problem had another arrived. For there was another intruder at the Kanzuki Estate.

"No doubt about it." Cammy began "They were definitely up to no good." she said to Chun-Li as they walked off deeper into the estate trying to find their way out of it.

"Definitely." Chun-li agreed. The reach of Outworld was long it seemed. It only made getting to the Special Forces all the more important. And they were ready to do just that.

A rumbling from behind caught their attention. Alarmed they turned and saw someone was bearing down on them. Turning around and rising up from the floorboards. They saw it leap at the last moment and they ducked as a shadow of red passed over them.

They shot back up bracing for another fight as this thing's back was to them.

"Something tells me he didn't get an invite either." Cammy said. But as she starred on determined Chun-li's gaped in shock.

"Be careful." she warned becoming serious again focusing on Necalli "Ryu warned me about this one."

"Then let's deal with it." Cammy said. Chun-li nodded to her and they prepared for battle.

Kitana and Mileena Ending

Kitana let out a long well-deserved sigh, her eyes closed in a peaceful embrace of relief. It's done. It's finished. Their journey, trials and battles had not been for nothing. Everything was perfect for Edenia, Outworld, Earthrealm, even the NetherRealm. All was placed back into its orderly place. She couldn't say for certain, but she knew in her heart that Liu Kang had something to do with it. For now, the barriers returned and all set in its proper order. All those strange fighters, old and new back to where they belong.

But here and now, they were still not done it seemed, for they were far from their home as well. Kitana looked around to see exactly where they stood; in Earthrealm on a green hilltop with a good view all around and a dark, but peaceful night sky above them. Certainly not Edenia, it would hardly pass for home, this Field of Fate. Few things could. And the two of them had been gone for too long.

"Very well." she concluded simply, her voice stern and with determination. Her mind made up "Let's us go." she said and took a step forward and off the hill.

Instead of footsteps behind her Kitana heard a groan and then a soft pat was heard. Turning around she saw Mileena sitting on the ground, her legs and arms crossed, her body slouched in her sitting stance.

"Mileena!" Kitana gasped turning around more to look down to her sister "What are you doi-"

"I'm tired." she whined on the ground.

"This is no time to stop!" she urged as she had done for their entire journey.

"Why? You said everything was back to normal." she pouted up to her older sister defiantly.

"Yes," she agreed for it was true, but there was so much more now "but we are not home." she fretted, explaining the obvious "The Special Forces will rendezvous with us-" she turned and pointed off to the distance, but would get no farther when she turned her gaze away.

"But we've had a long journey. Can't we rest?"

Kitana turned back to her sister but said nothing this time. She gave no scolding, disappointed glance, exasperated sigh nor looked down on her. Instead, she reflected on what Mileena had said, what they had done and how her own legs were very sore from all the walking and fighting. Looking to Mileena's exhausted state she certainly felt the same. In the end she raised her head up and let out another tired well-deserved sigh. Maybe that wouldn't be such a bad thing.

"Alright." she relented looking back to Mileena.

"Yay!" Mileena threw her hands up, elated as Kitana not only agreed but liked her idea. "See," she let out excitedly "you had a much better time with me than you would have had with Jade."

"Yes." Kitana agreed her mask turning up into a reserved but still noticeable smile "I suppose I did." she admitted as she came down beside her. It may not have been easier, but they got through it all the same. Together.

Kitana nestled on the ground next to her, her right knee raised as she rested her arm off of it. Mileena then put her hands back in her lap and the two merely sat there on the hill. Waiting. In silence.

"Waiting is boring." Mileena then said breaking the silence, unsatisfied now as she always had been.

"What do you want to do to pass the time?" Kitana turned to her. Mileena jostled in place and shook her head as if that would make an idea come to her. Trying to come up with another idea that her sister may like. She seemingly did when she turned back to Kitana.

"Wanna play a game?" she asked. Kitana paused only briefly before answering.

"Yes." Kitana agreed and now positioned herself to face Mileena as she shifted around to do the same. Both of them sat on their knees, looked across to the other and raised their hands as if preparing for some ancient precious ritual they would now have to perform. They raised their arms and clapped their hands before crossing them to clap with the other.

"Pat-a-cake, pat-a-cake, baker's man." they both said in unison as the other hand clapped the opposing one "Bake me a cake as fast as you can. Pat it, roll it and mark it with a K. Put it in the oven for Kitana and me!"

Chun-li and Cammy Ending

Despite the fact the worlds were merging, colliding and falling apart at the same time, and that it was so hard to find each other, they managed to find these two with ease.

It seemed no matter what was going on, they were on their worse behavior.

The jungles of Outworld were as dangerous as you could imagine. They had to pass through it on their way to the Special Forces and encountered warriors from it to boot. But perhaps the greatest danger was the newest one brewing inside it.

Amongst the jungle brush of low hanging, overlapping leaves and vines were two people. A man on one side and a woman on the other. Clearing their way through the jungle, they came to a small clearing, free of trees or high grass that allowed them a better look at each other. You could almost imagine and even expect a fight about to erupt. And judging by the gleams in each of their metallic eyes, they were eager for one.

Little did they know that from that very same jungle they were being watched by numerous watchful eyes.

Moving a leaf out of her way, it allowed Chun-Li's eyes to gaze forward to see the meeting of these two notorious enemies.

"So that's Kano." Chun-li said as she observed the man. Shirtless with tattoos of Black Dragons over his muscular torso. She was less familiar with him so kept her eyes on the unknown target. Of course, that meant watching as Kano spoke with Juri from afar. Though Chun-li could not hear the words said, only the mouths moved.

"That's him alright." a voice came as another set of eyes were revealed from behind a leaf beside her, though like Chun-Li the rest of her body was obstructed "And that's Juri?" Sonya asked peering over at the woman who lingered before her hated foe.

"You bet." Chun-li nodded.

"Tsh. Well, can't say I'm surprised these two came together in all this. If she's as bad as you say."

"She is." Cammy's voice added from beside hers peering through the leaves as they gazed at them together "But why him? What purpose?"

Right at that moment Juri lashed out her leg to kick Kano only for it to stop abruptly before hitting him. He didn't flinch or move from his spot, instead he leaned on closer walking his hand down the length of her leg, before coming to her chin to push it up closer to his face.

"I could only imagine." Sonya said disgusted as all three pairs of eyes were revolted by what they saw and growing more so by the minute. But Cammy's eyes on the farthest right saw someone new entering the scene.

"Who's that?" she asked alarmed as a man encased in metal approached, with two hooked swords over his shoulders.

"Kabal." a man's voice answered and above the three women's eyes came a mans along with his voice "Kano's right-hand man. Second in command of the Black Dragon." Jax explained. Kabal despite being with Kano looked almost the polar opposite. He wasn't covered in tattoos from head to toe, but in rags and machinery. What little skin of him they would see seemed to be badly burned. His faced concealed behind the mask revealed nothing but calculated menace. The only thing they seemed to have in common were pairs of weapons. Hook swords and Butterfly knives.

Right as Kabal entered Juri and Kano turned towards him, with Juri leaning back against Kano who pressed up to her from behind brining their bodies ever closer.

"So, he's in league with him." another man's voice concluded as a fifth and final set of eyes appeared from the jungle over Cammy "But it doesn't explain why they're here." Guile said.

"Opportunistic." Jax stated "Like some others I know." he said as he cast untrustworthy eyes towards Guile. But as he looked to him and Guile bore it as well as he could. The three women beneath them saw something else.

For right next to Kabal a mechanical form appeared. Not seeing it, its sudden appearance startled Kabal who quickly backed away, allowing Chun-li, Cammy and Guile to see his speed for the first time. It also brought Jax's eyes back to the situation at hand, and though they didn't know what was being said they all heard Juri's evil laugh at reaction.

Standing with them now, as if to even the playing field was a cyborg. Though not like ones they all had faced. Though similar in construction it was not in appearance for this one was built to model Juris likeness. As showed in the shared reaction between it and her maker from Kabal's.

"Guess that answers that questions." Cammy said as more and more of those cyborgs slunk out from the jungle to join them. Their numbers growing more and more it only made some of them concerned for how to proceed next.

"So, what's the plan from here?" Guile asked seeing as how they were outnumbered now.

"We shut this deal down." Sonya said her eyes focusing in on the two ringleaders in the center.

"Right." Chun-li agreed "Let's go this."

They saw Kano and Juri turn back to each other, their bodies close and grinding against each other and they were speaking too low for them to hear. But whatever it was they knew where it was going and couldn't let it go on any longer.

"Freeze!" Sonya shouted and her voice sent shockwaves through the jungle. Kano, Juri and Kabal all turned over as the five of them burst out from the jungle.
