Remy and Blair Dame

He could feel his fists were up ready to defend himself and fight some more. But he could not see them. All he saw in his eyes was red.

Blood.

Blood flowing down his face and drowning out his vision. But he was still in this fight. A fight against the most brutal kind of warrior imaginable. One just like his father.

And himself.

Some of the blood trickled away just in time for Remy to see a large incoming fist. But he saw it too late for him to do anything and it collided with is head. More blood splattered and flowed as it was felt around his head. Darkness followed that punch as he closed his eyes.

Remy was used to such darkness, for he only equated it with his own being.

Another blow that he couldn't see was suddenly felt knocking Remy further away. He stumbled on his feet struggling to stay up. But half his vision had returned as his right eye was forced open now from that blow. Blood splattered from his face, his long turquoise hair flowing wildly away from his head. Then it fell back down as did his head, right into another punch. This one sent him flying farther back, but another hand reached out to grab Remy before he could get away. Then he was pulled in close and another fist rocked Remy in the face. His body now hung lifelessly in the hands of his assailant, limp in the hand of the one who held him. But he did not stop. Another punch struck Remy's face and anther after that. Then there was a pause as the man reared his arm back even farther, ready to deliver one more final blow.

Remy's eyes opened weakly. Through his bloody stare he could see the older bald man looking down down the length of his arm with a scarred face and dragon tattoo. Then the reared arm swung forward propelled by his own strength and ready not just to his Remy's face but to go through it.

But then suddenly right before it could strike him, it stopped. The man grumbled as both he and Remy looked down to see another man holding onto his arm. He looked younger, but bore the same tattoo on his face.

"That's enough!" Taven shouted.

"Hmph." Daegon let out as he looked to Taven over his arms "You would stop me now?"

"He is no threat!" Taven scolded "If he ever was at all."

"If he is, I shall dispose of him. If not, he shall not be in our way." he said rearing his arm back again, but Taven stopped him before he could even do that.

"I said enough!" Taven shouted. This time Daegon returned the glare to Taven, but soon enough he rolled his eyes and when they returned to Taven he opened his hand and Remy fell limply to the ground. Blood continued to flow from his body and soon he was drowning in it.

"Thank my softer brother for his intervention. But me for my mercy." Daegon said looking down at him "And then consider yourself fortunate than we are pressed with greater matters than you." Daegon said before walking around Remy and continuing past him. Taven lingered above him and was about to kneel down before Daegon called back "Come brother!" he snapped back to him. Taven lingered with Remy for a few moments more before letting out an aggravated sigh, relenting and running to catch up with Daegon, leaving Remy all by himself.

"br-brother.." he whispered into the pool of blood as he picked his head up. That's what he was once. But what was he now? He turned his head up to see the two walking away from him. Daegon was a strong and malicious fighter. Taven may have been softer, but no less guilty. Remy rolled his head up and roared to them "Fighters! Warriors! Pah!" Remy spat spreading blood all over "Monsters all of you."

The two stopped and turned back to him looking over their shoulders.

"You see brother," Daegon began maliciously "He is fine."

"Warriors such as you," Remy pounded the ground to pick himself up. His chest was stained with blood as more dripped down from his hair "You create a world with chaos and hatred. One where the strong victimize the weak! One that will destroy everyone!"

"No. That is what we will stop." Taven replied.

"Stop?! You're just as terrible." Remy said as he buckled down falling back into the blood.

"Hmph. He really does remind me of Rain." Daegon said and even the sympathetic Taven seemed to sour at that comparison. Remy did not know who that was, but he knew of someone who they were like. The worst kind of warrior. One who would leave others behind. One who would thrive in a world like this. And that's who he compared them to.

"My father felt the same way. You two are just as he was."

A strange look came over Daegon when he said that and he turned around fully to Remy, speaking softer to him now "We are not like him. But perhaps we are more alike."

"You dare to compare us?" Remy spat, more blood adding to the pool as he did.

"You asked why we fight?" Daegon repeated the question Remy asked all fighters "My brother has told you his answer. But I will now give you mine." Daegon clenched his fist "I was given a task by my father, a destiny. One that was almost denied to me. But I will fulfill it now."

"Fulfillment? Destiny? Just as selfish reasons." Remy struggled to speak "Stuck in the cycle he forced you into."

"Yet they are mine. What of yours then if you are a mortal so noble?"

"To find my father, a man not like you. And defeat him, removing his stain on the world!"

Daegon smirked "Then let you succeeded in killing him.. as I had."

Remy managed to look up at them now. Through the blood and bruising, his sealed eyes were wider than they had been yet. He saw Daegon's smirk fade to sadness as Taven glared at him. They spared him no more words, but turned around to continue to walk away from him, into the forest with faces where two other brotherly 'Gods' would await them, with their own purpose and destiny.

But that didn't matter, he was still focused on Daegon's words.

This man, this half-god Daegon. He succeeded where Remy could not. He managed to defeat his own father, yet his purpose afterword's, his "Destiny' remained unfulfilled. Then what does that mean for Remy? Was he any different? No, he was! He would persevere, he would-

Suddenly, though no blow came at him Remy collapsed on the ground and his vision went dark once again. He did not know how long he was laying there, or if he would continue to do so. In fact, he wasn't sure if would ever open them again. But eventually he did.

Cloudy and hazy at first, with little idea of what was before him. Something tall and white with blue at the top. Around that was still a fog. But whatever it was, it was nothing like some far off realm or land he couldn't pronounce or ever heard of. Not that's he'd care if he could.

His vision soon cleared and he saw before him a tall, muscular woman in white tights. Her pale skin was almost as white as her clothes and the only distinct color from her came from her blue hair.

As his vision returned so did his scowl. He said nothing, but grumbled as he looked himself over. He was cleaned of all blood. You could hardly tell he was even in a fight, save for some stains on his pants, which being the same color didn't bother him. Picking himself up slowly he got to his feet and tugged on his jacket tightening it in place. He was eye level with the woman before him. A starring match seemed to be going on between them, but with nothing to say he turned his back to her. And that's when one of them spoke. But it still wasn't him.

"What? That's it?!" she exclaimed. Remy stopped from walking away to look back over his shoulder at her.

"Am I supposed to say something to you?" he asked "Why waste my words?"

"At the very least you could say 'Thank You'." she said disapprovingly.

"And what did you do to earn my thanks?" he asked growing annoyed.

"Well, if you haven't pieced it together yet, I'M the one that saved you." she said with extra emphasis, so he was sure to know who it was.

That made Remy go cold. "You. Save me?"

"That's right." she nodded.

"Why?"

"Well-" she stopped short as if the answer wasn't obvious "I couldn't just leave you there could I?"

"Is that so?" he asked, but expected no answer. "And who are you?" he asked, this time expecting one.

"I'm Blair Dame." she introduced herself "And if you won't tell me anything else, at least let me know the name of the man I've saved."

Remy paused contemplating if he really wanted to answer it. But he did oblige her "Remy." he said simply.

"Alright... and what were you doing out there Remy?"

"Another question you want answered?" he asked icily. Grumbling Blair crossed her arms. She looked like she wasn't expecting anything else, but then Remy spoke "Defeating strong fighters." he said simply.

"Seems like you weren't the winner in that last fight." she stated. Remy grumbled, remembering the two he encountered, specifically the one who did this to him. Yet Remy knew there were other's like him, others worse than him still out there.

Warriors just like his father who he had to defeat.

"Not yet." Remy said "But I'm not finished." he said standoffish.

"Oh." Blair Dame let out seemingly coming to a conclusion "So you wish to be strong too."

"Strong!" he snapped "I have nothing to prove by being strong. But you." he turned fully to face her now "Now you answer my question. Why is it you fight?" he seemed ready to take an offensive stance against her, as if she was his enemy now. Blair noticed this and wondered if her answer would spur him into action against her. So she answered him truthfully.

"I do fight." she admitted to him, and his scowl deepened "But only to protect myself and those I love." Taken by surprise by that answer Remy's expression softened after she had said that. His scowl was still there, but not as engrained on his face as it often was. It was still there, but so was the acknowledgement of something else. Something that was his as well.

"Then perhaps... you are not like other fighters." he admitted almost begrudgingly, his easing out of a fighting stance.

"Not all fighters are. But what does fighting strong opponents do for you? What are you doing?"

"What I was going to do before you 'saved' me." he said mockingly.

"A whole lot of people need saving now."

"I don't care about them. They put this upon themselves. " Remy said turning his back to her, waving his arms and his black coat followed him like a shadow "It's not the world I care about, but the state it's in. All from the fighters who made it this way," he thought back to Daegon and even Taven, but knew there were others just as bad if not worse than them "Dark violent warriors to pollute this world... no different than my father. If I'm to beat him, I'll have to beat them as well. All of them." he then turned around to view her "And you shall help me."

"Me?! Help you?!" she exclaimed. "Why?"

"You have already." Remy said. She volunteered for this.

"Yeah, but- that doesn't mean I can just tag along with you now! I'm looking for someone. My former bodyguard and hopefully future husband."

"And perhaps he is out there." Remy admitted, his words sounding reassuring, but the voice he said it in made her prospects worthless. "If you want to go out and find him, you'll need someone no different that I." he stated. He knew already that many fighters travelled in pairs these days, tainting this world and all others with them. If he cannot survive alone then, he they must go together. Until he had no further need for it.

"Well.." Blair paused and mulled it to herself. Looking around before looking back to Remy "Maybe you can help me. And I can help you more than I already have." she said as a sly reminder and a little joke. But Remy was not one to laugh.

"Then let's not waste any more time." she said as he started to walk off. Pouting and realizing this was going to be a dreary adventure, Blair prepared herself for the worst.

Sektor and Moloch

There it was in the palm of his robotic hand. The visor that housed his 'eyes' scanned what was held before it. Perfectly round, ash gray with an even darker symbol inside of it. A dragon curling it's tail and spreading it's wings.

This was it. The Dragon Medallion. Held and wielded by all who rule the Lin Kuei. Taken by and adorned by only the strongest, for only the strong can rule the Lin Kuei. Softs hearts and good intentions are not for them. Their own goals and interest are top priority.

Or at least used to be.

But with this in his hand, Sektor could carry on that legacy and true purpose of the Lin Kuei. It was one he was destined to rule. He may not be a man any longer, foregoing his humanity by way of the old grandmaster, but he still possessed a man's motivation.

He squeezed it tighter confirming it was in his grasp only for it to crack. Because this was not the real Dragon Medallion. If even Shinnok's Amulet had a replica, so must the Dragon Medallion. And here it was in Sektor's robotic hand as nothing more than a paperweight. A phony, to remind him of his failure.

That he could not take over the Lin Kuei, impose his own will onto it, or more importantly kontinue the previous Grandmaster's legacy. His fathers legacy.

A grumble escaped Sektor that sounded like the revving of an engine. It then broke out into a roar as he flung the fake Dragon Medallion across the ground until it hit the rocks that surrounded him and shattered.

"Worthless." he declared with his hands now free. But he looked down to them once again. Robotic hands, remade from weakness and doubt reforged into the perfect weapons, made for only true warriors. He scanned them revealing no deformity or malfunction. Yet here he was without The Dragon Medallion in them or the Lin Kuei behind him. But that would change soon, very soon. When he remade an army of cyborgs to stand with him. To enact his will instead of their own. And he knew the perfect place to start. With all of these new warriors roaming the realms, they would make the perfect candidates for the new Cyber Initiative.

And they may be closer than he thought.

For he heard something now, coming from behind him. Not some sneak attack, but rather a disruption. A low drone from the other side of the rocks. Sektor went on guard, ready to attack, but also to use his skills to learn who this was. Sinking down into the ground he fell into a green teleporter of his own making. When he shot back up, it was to the other side of the rocks. And that's when he found it. The sound was louder with heavy breathing along with it. There were still sharp jagged rocks all around him. He made his way forward. The growling ceased for a moment as a snuffing sound replaced it. Pressed against the rocks Sektor felt as if all the air was going to be sucked out and him along with it. It stopped suddenly and was replaced by the growl again. The disconnected sounds continued on and off for a few more cycles until Sektor poked his head around the rocks. There Sektor found not a man, but a beast.

Rounder than the sharp rocks, hunkering down and bent over. It's head was bowed as if in shame. As it sat there another breath escaped from its head and Sektor heard words this time.

"Drahmin." the large beast droned "Drahmin."

Sektor began to scan this creature trying to identify it.

"Large and Strong." Sektor stated "A perfect servant. One worthy of becoming a part of my cyber army." he spoke hushed and low. Yet at the sound of his voice the creature's horned head poked up.

"Drahmin?" it let out suddenly and turned it's head in his direction.

Three yellow eye's starred directly at Sektor, and it was now that he was able to identify him. The Oni Moloch.

Moloch rose from his sitting position growing even taller and casting his shadow down over Sektor.

"Drahmin?" it let out again. It was now Sektor realized he had been caught, despite his enhanced stealth. But he had been eyeing Moloch this entire time with other thoughts in mind. He jumped out of the rocks to reveal himself. The Oni above him sniffed, and his face turned disapprovingly on him. "Not. Drahmin." he stated the obvious.

"No." Sektor answered. When he spoke, he saw Moloch raise his left arm. A chain rattled around it, and the heavy orb in his hand was shown. Sektor knew what would come next. For Moloch was dumber than the rocks that surrounded them, but as strong a fighter as could be found. Sektor knew he could not take him alone. But perhaps he didn't need to. Moloch was ready to bring his orb down crashing it onto Sektor. He put his own hand up to stop Moloch from using it "But it seems to me that you are lost. And looking for him." Moloch stumbled and stopped raising his arm and the orb "I should not be surprised. It was more than a portal that brought you here. You and all the others." Sektor waved his hand. Moloch seemed confused at what he meant by 'others'. But he also didn't seem to understand much of anything. That was Sektors plan. "Yet why should they be out there together, in pairs. While you are here alone without the aid of your only friend and ally. Finally free of the Netherrealm, but separated from him." Sadness overcame Moloch as he fell back onto the rocks, cracking the ground where he sat.

"Drahmin." he said again dropping his head, looking like how he was when Sektor first found him.

"Yes." Sektor said "But he is not here." he said as he made his way forward "But-" he said sharply and getting his attention "What if I could take you to him?"

Moloch turned his head up at the sound of that and with a speed that surprised even Sektor moved his large body so quickly that he came right before him. Suddenly his dropping jaw was before Sektors face showing his many teeth and the drool dripping from it.

"Drahmin?" he droned again.

"Yes." Sektor said and brought up a hand to push up his jaw, closing it. "For he has been displaced like so many others."

"o-thers?" Moloch repeated.

"Yes." Sektor nodded "I can help you find him. If you would help me defeat those who helped displace him? What a deal that would be. What help we could give each other."

Moloch growled at that opening his mouth again and leering down to Sektor as it to bite his head off. Quickly Sektor put his hands up.

"You do not need to think of me as that sorcerer-" he reassured him "For I am not like him." Moloch grumbled some more at that, but relented appearing to listen to him. Always known for his strength rater than his intelligence, Sektor hoped to use that now. To think for him as he fights for him. To aid him in his own conquest. "I have my own use for these new warriors. Those who separated you from your friend and me my destiny." he paused "Let us aid each other. Will you join me then?" Sektor asked.

A curious growl came from Moloch as he rubbed a finger over his large head, curiously. He dwelled on that for some time until finally he dropped his arm and then nodded his head excitedly.

"A wise choice." Sektor said "I can see why Drahmin chose you as an ally and why you're so eager to find him." Moloch nodded some more "And we will." Sektor said turning his back and began walking away "Follow me." he commanded. And much to his surprise Moloch rushed to follow him though it took far fewer steps to do so and his running shook the ground and made Sektor stumble. But he quickly picked himself back up.

"Drahmin, there?" Moloch said pointing ahead.

"He is out there." Sektor answered and though he had not idea where he truly was or cared he could at least say that. Whatever to sedate this beast and keep him on his side "As are my targets." he paused looking down and Moloch turned curiously from the vast horizon to him. And then Sektor spoke his intentions.

"These warriors. Whatever reason they fight makes no difference to me. For when I turn them all into cyborgs, they will fight for what I tell them to." he raised an iron fist "And the Lin Kuei will be reborn!"

"Drah-min." Moloch said alongside him.

Fight Your Rival! Flesh Pits

They descended the stairs in darkness. Their steps echoing from stone stairway down deeper and deeper. Eventually, they reached the end of their echoes coming to the bottom of the stairs which opened up into a wide room. Though it was far from empty.

It was not some drab basement, or half drowned dungeon, though it was mistaken for both. The stench of rotting flesh, mixed decaying bodies and dried blood would make you think that. In reality, it seemed to be some kind of laboratory.

Operating tables could be seen with hooks hanging from above. They were rusty, metal, and stained red all over, but still not the most noteworthy thing about this place. Instead, that was the numerous tanks which lined the walls and allowed some light to shine out from them. Despite this place feeling hollow and empty the tanks were filled not just with water, but with bodies. Nearly naked bodies, covered in bandages, but not much else. They left little to the imagination especially the face which unlike the alluring or titillating body was ugly and deformed; a mouth full of razor sharp teeth.

Remy and Blair Dame stopped once they stepped inside, to look around at their new surroundings. They were not the strangest they had been so far, but were easily the most horrifying.

"Uh!" Blair gasped "This place! It's, it's-"

"Not empty." Remy commented dryly as he looked around. For they saw that while they were getting a look at the new place they stumbled into, they saw that they were not the only ones watching. Several orange eyes starred at them blankly from inside of the tanks. It unnerved Blair to think of herself as being watched constantly by these static ugly faces.

"But what are they?" she asked horrified as her head continued to turn.

"What does it matter?" Remy asked. Her head rolled around until it stopped at a tank right beside her where she saw hovering above her in the tank, one of the bodies was starring down at her. Blair starred back and wondered if the thing inside was even alive enough to blink.

But then it did more than that.

"What are you looking at bitch?!" she shouted at her from inside the tank.

Now Blair was on the one who blinked. "It talked!"

"I'll do more than that if you don't look away from me you ugly bitch!" she shouted down at her. Blair was appalled by this, but even Remy allowed himself to become slightly amused, but it quickly grew to annoyance.

"Tch. Quiet the mouth on this one." Remy stated flicking his hair and turning his head over. There he saw another pod with another clone starring right down at him. They made eye contact as both starred blankly at the other "What are you looking at?" he asked this time.

"You're pretty." she stated at a normal volume "You will be mine!" she shouted.

"I saw him first!" cried another clone from her pod down the hall, one that they could hardly see so she definitely did not see them. "He's mine!"

"No, he's mine!" another closer to them shouted and then ran her tongue along the glass.

"He's not as pretty as me!" another said.

"Do you like what you see?" one asked pushing up against the glass. Several shouts and bubbled shrieks were let out from the tanks as Remy and Blair looked around. But they were not the only ones to do so. For two others appeared, eyeing the laboratory themselves.

Sektor entered the Flesh Pits first coming from a door on the other side.

"The sorcerer should not leave his laboratory unlocked." Sektor said confidently looking around. Scanning, he saw many life forms inside, but upon getting here he saw they were not what he initially intended. "Clones. Hmph." he grunted dismissively. As if one Mileena was bad enough "They are no match for cyberization. But perhaps I've found the bounty to work with. A good base to build from. That is if this is not a bad leftover batch from the sorcerer." he asked pondering as the clones flanking in him their tanks snarled and hissed at him. "And I could convert this into another factory in no time." The room began to shake as another entered from behind him.

Moloch followed loyally behind him, his heavy steps shaking the water in the pods and thrashing the clones within them.

"Pervert!" one snapped "You came just to see me naked. You just want to see my breasts jiggle!" But they were paid no mind by Sektor. Moloch, however, ogled the clones being the glass strangely. He tapped on it causing it to shake even more violently, like a fish in a bowl.

"HHMMM." he droned as he then reached his free hand up and stuck a finger inside of the tank from the top, only for the clone to jump up and bite his finger. "EH!" Moloch retracted suddenly, shaking his finger and splattering more blood across the Flesh Pits.

"Kalm yourself." Sektor eased the giant Oni behind him who sucked on his bitten finger "We have other matters to attend to. Leave the pets in their kages."

"UH!" Moloch grunted and his massive arm raised over Sektor and pointed ahead. Sektor followed his finger to see where he pointed and saw two figures, these ones distinctly human and not clones.

"Well, well, well." Sektor let out setting his eyes on them, scanning their faces. "Perhaps I've found more suitable followers." he turned up to Moloch and nodded. Droning dimly he began to walk away, turning to go around the tanks beside them, his heavy steps thumping as he did.

That left Sektor as the only one to greet these two as they approached him. He did the same, crossing the length of the lab, so that they met in the middle of it. The clones from their pods watched them move towards each other.

"You." Sektor pointed to them as they came to a stop before each other "You do not belong here." he said "Or are you the sorcerers new guard dogs?"

"We are no ones guard dogs." Blair answered him "But we could ask the same of you? Are you some robot calibrated as a butler or something?"

Sektor's face didn't show emotion, but he turned his head up at them proudly "I am not. For I am the an assassin in pinnacle form."

"Is that so?" Blair asked unconvinced.

"And if you are not guard dogs. Then you are here are your own. Skulking out this place for your own purpose."

"Wrong again." Blair answered. Scanning Sektor could see Moloch trailing behind the tanks still unnoticed by the two before him. He had to drag this out further to achieve his results.

"Then why are you here?"

"Obviously, for no reason like yours." Blair answered. Remy had been silent the entire time, but he was eyeing the cyborg. Wondering what he really was. He seemed human, or at least a good mimic of it. He did not have to divulge their goals or reasons, but what of his?

"And as for that reason," he spoke up pausing so that Blair turned to him and Sektor titled his head over to find Remy did in fact have a voice "Answer me." Remy demanded asking a question he asked all fighters "Why do you fight?"

Sektor raised his arms proudly to answer "To return the Lin Kuei to it's former glory."

"Former glory. Hmph. You are not the first to make that declaration." Remy stated recalling a battle with Sub-zero, though it was Scorpions mediation on revenge that angered him more than the ice warrior. "But perhaps you are even worse than that one."

"He is a traitor!" Sektor declared "Who went against our grandmasters vision! My father had a way to evolve the Lin Kuei into perfect warriors. And he ruined it."

Remy felt sickened when he heard Sektor speak of his father and how he was trying to carry on his life's work.

"Vision. Is that what you called it? Or are they his words? Regardless, whatever you want is a travesty. Metal men with no souls. A father who discarded his son to this life, is hardly a father at all."

"He was a true leader!" Sektor proclaimed "And you," he paused pointing to them, but Remy specifically "shall help me carry on his life's work for it has now become mine..." he paused as neither Remy or Blair noticed the great shadow overtake them since it was so dark already "By becoming cyborgs yourself." Blair and Remy hardly had time to react before something great suddenly gripped them from behind and lifted them off their feet.

The two struggled to move as four great fingers wrapped around them. They saw Sektor below them shrinking as he stayed on the ground while they were raised above him. The sight of Sektor was soon replaced as they were turned around to see three yellow eyes staring at them, and then a large mouth filled with teeth roared at them. Then it closed its mouth and squeezed them harder.

"Not too hard!" Sektor commanded up to Moloch "I still need their bodies intact for the cyberization."

"HHMMMHHM!" Moloch droned and then looked to Remy "Drahmin? Where?" he asked looking over to Blair.

"Let go of my new boyfriend!" one of the clones shouted banging on the inside of the tank. But Remy had enough of this already. His arms and torso were tightly in Moloch's grip, but his legs were still free.

"I'm done with this!" he shouted. Then he kicked his legs up and as he did he kicked Moloch in his chin, knocking his large head up and his body followed. It crashed into the ceiling denting it as his grip on the two of them loosened. And as Moloch went up Remy and Blair fell back to the ground.

Remy landed on his feet as Blair went to her knees. No sooner had he landed, he turned around to swing a punch, which was met with one coming at him.

As soon as he landed, he saw Sektor rear up for a punch. Propelled by rockets on his back he flew forward and Remy moved to match it. Their fists collided with each other. From down the length of each of their arm, Remy and Sektor grilled each other down as sparks flew from their fists.

As they continued to glare at each other, each with equally lifeless eyes, Moloch had fallen back down to the floor shaking it. His three eyes instantly went to see Remy's back, but Blair came to stand between them. Moloch let out another angrier roar at her.

"Aw!" Blair let out "What the hell is this?! First those clones and now this!"

"What'd you say bitch!" one of them shouted as Moloch swung his arm forward and unraveling from it his chain was let loose unleashing the orb in his hand. It hit her dead on, and she was knocked back. Right then Remy and Sektor pulled their fists back. Remy flung himself forward with a kick unleashing a spiraling blue wave as he did. Sektor merely brought up his arm unleashing fire at it and their two attacks collided. Looking past Remy as their attacks erupted from the other, cancelling the other out, Sektor saw Blair being flung at him.

Then he dropped down, falling into a green portal and disappearing into the ground. Instinctively, Remy turned around just in time to catch Blair, though he was annoyed at the prospect.

"Thanks." she said from his arms.

"Pick yourself up." he said coldly as he forced her to do just that. For lining up across from them Moloch pounded his orb on the ground, and Sektor reappeared before him jumping up from the ground. Remy scoffed at the sight of them.

"You're strong." Sektor admitted "You shall make good cyborgs indeed."

"Fighting for your wicked fathers legacy?" Remy asked "You'll have none for your own. You hardly have a life to give, or even to take."

"Yours is already mine to take." Sektor replied "I fight for my purpose. Which you shall help bring about." he said as he readied himself for battle. Behind him Moloch did the same as did Remy and Blair across from them.

"Perhaps you really are a servant." Remy said recalling Blair's own assumption of him "Serving out a ghosts will since you have none of your own."

"And what of you?" Sektor grilled him "You ask others of their reasons to fight, but what of you? One who speaks so lowly of others, what lofty aspirations do you have?"

"I'm looking for my old bodyguard." Blair cut in.

"Drahmin?" Moloch perked his head up at the sound of that, for he searched for his old friend too. But it was Remy that Sektor spoke to and he was about to answer.

"I fight to undo a world of warriors." he said darkly "Ones who carry on a legacy like my father. A man who abandoned his family. And I'll defeat every warrior in the realms to do that. And if I have dismantle your fathers legacy to do that," he pointed a finger to Sektor "then I'll do it piece by piece."

Sektor took than as a bolder threat and greater khallenge "You can try. But you will instead join in that legacy." he menaced all his own. The four were ready for a fight now. With an audience to watch all around them the clones in their tanks shouted in unison.

"Fight! Fight! Fight!" the clones chanted all around them.

Sub-Boss Necalli Hour of Battle! Remy and Blair Dame

Another battle was over and another fighter was defeated, and a wicked one at that. Remy could feel his purpose drawing to a close. There were not many left he had to face. Yet there was still one great warrior he knew he had to fight. One exactly like his own father. When he defeated him, his journey would truly be over. The question was, where was he?

He and Blair recouperated after that last fight. She was ready to leave this laboratory and if nothing else awaited them here so did he. With those last two fighters defeated, they were already out of sight and therefore out of mind for him. All the while during that fight, the clones in the tanks cheered him on. He wanted to be rid of their prattling as much as anything else.

Suddenly the sound of footsteps was heard from behind them echoing from the dark stairwell. Remy turned around first to see who was coming. Whatever steps they were, they sounded like sharp pointed tips of heels.

Then emerging from the darkness running a hand through long white hair, with only a strand of black in the center of it was a woman. Dressed in purple she had a smile more reminiscent of a smirk on her face. She stopped suddenly as she entered the room starring blankly at the two who stood in it now. But then that blank face turned into a sultry smile when her eyes were set on Remy.

"Well, well," Sindel let out "What is this?" she asked in a sultry voice to match her smile. Sindel then strutted over to Remy koming dangerously close to his personal space. She took no notice of Blair who watched on cautiously from the sidelines. Sindel then leaned up poking her face even further into Remy who turned his head up from her to evade it. So she just leaned in even closer. "Aren't you a handsome young thing." she said alluringly "Care to escort a loving mother back to her daughters?" she requested flirtatiously as she began walking her fingers up his arm as her other hand touched his bare chest.

"Tsch. I think not."

"Ah but I am a queen. And that was a royal command."

"I don't have a queen." she said standoffishly.

"Aww." she cooed "Does the poor baby need a mothers touch." she said seductively as her hand walked up his shoulder to reach his face. She was about to take ahold of it and push it down to hers before Remy smacked it away.

"I said no,. Hag!"

Sindel's face curled up in anger and she stepped back from him. "You dare speak to me that way!?"

"Yes. Because I know who you are. Queen to that dreaded Kahn!"

"Not that he will be for much longer. Hmph." Sindel let out contemptuously and turned her head up "That brute." she spat "I know longer travel with him." she said, and Remy's eyes gleamed at her. He had just noticed now that he in fact was not here. The one he was looking for was nowhere to be seen. "I've left him now that there's no more use in him."

"Where is he then?" he asked darkly.

"Sitting alone and idly on a throne I won for him." Sindel said putting her hands on her hips "But if he doesn't praise my aide for winning it for him, then I won't help him keep it. I'll return to my daughters who need me more and will appreciate my services." she said glaring right back at Remy "And if you do not wish to escort me to them, then get out of my way." she said forcing herself past him. Blair watched her leave as Remy turned over his shoulder to watch as she stormed across the lab "Such a shame." she said aloud in a melancholy voice before looking back to him "He's so handsome. I would have thought you as a son or something more." she shrugged giving him one last look and a wink to go with it. Then Sindel continued down through the Flesh Pits. But like Remy and Blair, she got hollered at along the way.

"Mother!" the clones cried from their tanks "Mother is here!" "Hi Mother!" they waved to her.

"Yes, my beauties, mommy is here." Sindel called as she walked by all of them, waving and blowing kisses to each one as she did.

"Man," Blair let out "and I thought your family was messed up."

Remy said nothing, but the thoughts of these clones in their tanks being considered as something such as a daughter only made him remember a burial sight he had made. One for his sister encased in ice. A kold reflection came over himself as he saw them interacting with each other. He could think little more than that, just as Blair could say nothing for another intruder was koming from behind.

The clones in their tanks suddenly turned and hissed at something behind them, acting like wild feral animals in kages. A bubbling sound was heard as well as the grumble of many voices mixed into one. They naturally thought one of the clones had escaped her tank, but turning around they saw something much different.

Not a woman, but a nearly naked man. Seeped in red and lurching instead of standing, he looked like he came from one of the operating tables. The only thing he shared with these clones was its wild animalistic look. It opened its mouth to roar, but only a strained hiss escaped it.

"What the hell is this?!" Blair let out.

"Who cares." Remy answered as they both turned to face it.

"Soullssss." Necalli's voice strained "I've come for your soulsss."

"Souls?" Blair repeated "They're not for the taking."

"They were promised to meeee. To beee mii-ainee." he hacked.

"You're not a fighter. You're a mad beast." Remy said "One that needs to be put down."

"You will go dowwwn. Into my stomach."

"I've no time for putting down stray dogs." he flicked his hair to look at Blair. If what he was told was true, then his journey truly was koming to an end. "I have somewhere to be. For I know where I must go now. Get out of my way." he commanded.

"Youuu do not command mee. You will be food. You will be mine."

Remy huffed "You sound just as desperate as that tramp you just left." he tucked some hair behind his ear looking over to Blair "Take this one for me?"

"Me? For you?"

"Well, you do consider yourself my bodyguard right?" Blair grumbled at that. She was looking for her own bodyguard now, so for him to say that felt like a gut punch. But she still wasn't sure if he meant that to be insulting or he just didn't know how to talk to people.

"We'll fight him together." she said putting her fists up.

"If that gets this done quicker." Remy relented as he stepped up with her.

Sub-Boss Necalli Hour of Battle! Sektor and Moloch

Another battle was fought, raging all throughout the laboratory becoming fiercer as it went on. There was a moment where Sektor tried to drown them in one of the tanks. The clone inside tried to eat Blair and kiss Remy. Though in truth Sektor couldn't tell the difference. Victorious as he was in that battle, the two had gotten away. But that didn't matter to Sektor, he would merely follow them and finish what was started. Turning them into Cyborgs. He needed no further distractions.

But that's exactly what he was getting now.

"Drahmin?" Moloch perked up and then rushed towards something koming down from the stairwell. Sektor turned his head up at the last second only to see Moloch picking El Fuerte up in his hands squeezing him tightly, but excitedly. "Drahmin!" he cheered happily.

"Ah! Dio Mio!" El Fuerte exclaimed "What is this?!" and when he spoke a change came over Drahmin.

"Drahmin?" he let out confused as he gazed deeper into the mask that was before him.

"No!" Sektor lunged forward and hit Moloch in the back "That is not Drahmin! Put him down!" he commanded. Moloch did as he was told dropping El Fuerte to the ground. "Foolish thing." Moloch turned down sadly to him, looking like a dog that was kicked.

El Fuerte then scrambled back up the stairs shouting "General! General!"

Sektor then watched him go "AH! Dumb monster!" he looked up to Moloch "You let him escape!" Moloch seemed confused as to what the problem was. First he wanted him to drop him, now he wanted him to stay. "Now I wonder if Drahmin purposefully left you behind."

Now Moloch turned down to him snarling and Sektor realized that perhaps he had been taking his control of Moloch for granted. He even backed away from him expecting an attack. But then something else happened that saved him from that. The room went kold and stiff. As if something else was here now.

Moloch seemed to pick up on it first. Perking his head up higher and then sniffing the air. His usually dumb droning turned into a hopeful whimper.

"Drahmin?" he asked as he turned his head sensing some far away presence growing closer. Sektor seeing to his own calibrations did not see what he spoke of and was tiring of hearing that name.

'I am sick of hearing that name.' he growled to himself "Kreature!" he turned up to him "Did I not tell you-" but he stopped short for he saw now that they were not longer alone. And it was not the clones floating in water all around them, but instead it was something else rising from the ground just as Sektor would rise from teleporting. Only this was one slower and a growing dread was rising in the room with it.

Finally the creature rose up into the room, only to drop down to his feet. It reared its ugly head at them, sniffing the air just as Moloch had done. Moloch's hopeful whimper turned up into a grumbling growl at this new creature, which hissed and snarled back at them. Flanking them on all sides, the clones did the same. Sektor, however, did not feel threatened and was less than amused by his arrival.

"What is this? One of the sorcerers other failed experiments." he mocked.

"Hey!" one of the Mileena clones shouted down to him "What the hell did you say?! Say that to my face! You talking about me? Look at yourself!" they all cried and shouted at him, but Sektor paid them no mind. He kept his eyes on what was before him.

"I've come..." Necalli called his thin voice spreading through the lab like a fog "For souullsss."

"Hm." Sektor let out "Perhaps you are one of his failures."

"You are." Necalli droned back sharply "For yoouu havvee nothing for meee. No souuls to consume. To Nourishsss."

"It would be a weakness. For you rely on one who makes it for you."

"Not when I have the strongesssttt." he screeched.

"They are meant for a different fate." Sektor stepped forward "To become cyberized under my control." he raised a fist to shake it.

"You kannot have what is mine! What was promised to me!" Necalli shattered.

"Take them if you can!" Sektor shouted back. Suddenly the heavy pound of footsteps rang out as Moloch rushed by Sektor, pounding his orb on the ground as he did. "Or better yet, you shall join them!"

"Not Drahmin!" he shouted joining his voice with the others "But..." his three eyes peered at Necalli "Demon." he snarled and Necalli hissed at him.

"Youurss. Will be worth taking." he snarled to Moloch. "Oni."

"Some long lost brethren of yours?" Sektor asked "No matter. He will die before my hand." he declared. "I must kill you quickly. Before you let any others get away from me."

But Necalli had no more to say and rushed towards them, ready for battle.

Remy and Blair Dame Ending

They had travelled far and came a long way, but they had finally made it. The fortress was massive. Tall as it was wide, great as it was powerful, it was like a realm unto itself. And under new management. The skull with wings that once adorned its walls was cast down and something new was in it's place. Banners with a new skull, with a pointed horned helmet.

Remy watched it intently "So that hag was right." he admitted lowly to himself "He is here."

But just as he admitted that to himself, Blair cried out "He's here!" Alarmed Remy turned ready for a fight. He came here for one, so that's why he expected it. Yet when he turned around, he saw Blair grabbing at one of the many cages that now hung from the castle as a warning. And the one cage she held unlike the others had someone in it. "Jack!" Blair exclaimed as she ripped opened the cage door and the man inside fell limply into her arms.

"Blair-" he let out dryly before coughing weakly "you've been..captured too."

"No." she shook her head as she lowered him to the ground "I've come to save you."

"Save me?" Jack replied with a wry grin "Thought I supposed to be your bodyguard." he glanced over her shoulder to see Remy standing there "Looks like you've replaced me. Or is this your new boyfriend?" he asked with a grin.

"Neither." Blair said "I want you for both."

"What?" Jack snapped up at her. From behind her a malicious voice spoke.

"Well look at that." Remy said smugly over her "It seems you've gotten what you've come all this way for." It seems this partnership had actually bore fruit. For her at least, but not for him. Not yet. No sooner had he said that had he turned his head back up to the stairs that lead inside the fortress that once belonged to M. Bison. Keeping his eyes on it, Remy moved towards it. His leaving did not go unnoticed.

"Where are you going?" Blair called to him.

"To finish this." he answered not looking back.

"You wanna go in there?!" she asked shocked.

"It's why I came all this way." he clenched his fist "To find the last fighter I must face." He reached the top of the ladder.

"But he's strong. Too strong. Even for the both of us." she warned and he did not answer, but didn't move away either "I have to get Jack safe. " she said looking down at him in her arms. "When we're done, we can come back. All three-"

"I didn't come all this way to run back." Remy gritted his teeth and tightened his fist.

Blair stood up with Jack in her arms "I need to make sure he's safe. Then we-"

"Then go!" Remy turned around shouting at her "I do not need you!"

She was startled at first, but soon snapped back at him "You needed me to get all this way!" she shouted back.

"And now I've made it. And if you won't help me here, what good are you?" Remy's voice lowered, but still brimming with anger and malice. He did not wait for an answer. He said all he had to say and got all his use from her. He turned his back to her once again and walked off. Unlike when this journey started he didn't goad her into following him. Instead, he just continued on making his way towards those steps.

"So you'll leave us like that huh?" she called out "A fighter no different than your father." she repeated his own words and Remy froze. "Or the one in there." she added.

Remy's grimace twitched as he turned his head over his shoulder to glare at her. If a look could kill alone, that one would do it.

"Don't compare us again." he wared "Or next time I'll kill you."

"Then stay with us!" Blair pleaded "Why-"

"You wouldn't understand." Remy cut her off angrily "I came here to end warriors like him." he said to himself and continued to walk forward. Nothing would stop him now.

Blair watched him go uneasily. She had half the mind to follow him and the other half to let him be. A voice from beneath her gave her the final thought.

"Let him go Blair." Jack advised "There are some things you have to do on you own." Begrudgingly, Blair listened to him. But saw one last glance as he entered the fortress.

Remy made his way inside where there was hardly a soul to occupy it. Whatever battle caused the changing of hands didn't matter to him, but there seemed to be a change in architecture since that small time. He had never been here before. These jagged hallways and maze-like tunnels were unfamiliar to him, yet they brought him exactly to where he wanted to be.

The small tunnel of a hallway opened up into a wide open room. Some terrible machine or contraption was rupturing causing a great black pit to appear on the ceiling. But that's not what Remy cared about, even if it was what brought this calamity on in the first place and was still raging. For there was one great statue that stood centered in the room. One of a great konquerer with a horned helmet and massive hammer in one hand. The other hand was stretched out holding the earth in it, yet hovering in the air alongside it were five more of different colors were lined alongside it.

And beneath all that was a throne fitted for one person. The very one whose likeness the statue was based off of.

Shao Kahn.

He did not take notice of Remy yet for he was far too amused by what was beside him. A cage that hung by the throne like a decoration. Like the one Blair found it was not empty. Someone was inside it. Remy would have recognized him as Reiko if he was still recognizable after the Kahn's beating on him and if Remy even knew who he was.

Shao Kahn ran his hand along the cage spinning it much to his amusement. A dark evil chuckle was let out rumbling through the halls. But then Shao heard something else with it. Footsteps echoing out to reach him. He stopped spinning the cage suddenly and turned to look ahead to see a man approaching his throne. All went silent as Shao Kahn prepared himself for this new arrival.

He paused to look him over. For this was only the second visitor he received after he had won this throne since Sindel left and Reiko dared to betray him. Yet here he was, but Shao Kahn had no idea why he was here.

"What is this, boy?" he asked aloud "Kome to be the first pledge your service to the new Ruler of your realm?"

"No." Remy grimaced.

"No?" Shao repeated "Then what are you here for?"

"For you." Remy said darkly.

A grin formed under the helmet "What else is there!?" he boasted throwing his arms up. Remy now noticed the hammer was resting beside the throne. "And what is it you want with me, boy?"

"I am not a boy. I am Remy!" he declared his voice rising to be as loud as the Kahn's. "And I know who you are. And why you fight, so I have no reason to ask you. But you shall know my reason." he paused to look him over. And when he did, he saw the shadow of another person, the one that haunted him his entire life. The one that left him and his sister behind. "For you are the man I've always been destined to face in battle. A father no different than my own. All the people you've victimized. The families you've destroyed. Even your own!" Remy pointed accusingly to him.

"Soft hearted fools." Shao Kahn replied "Yet it seems to have hardened yours." he pointed his own finger to him. "Perhaps your father was in the right mind after all if his prodigy had such strength to him. To come all this way to face me." he complimented. "Yet you sound like my own daughter." he added dismissively at the end.

"You would savor such atrocities as compliments. But I'm here now. I fight to purge the world of warriors such as you."

"Noble fool, surely you don't count yourself." Shao pointed out the paradox that was Remy's motivations "Not that I would either." he chuckled at the end, still thinking of Remy as just a fly to be swatted.

"You'll only be counted among the dead. No different than any other fighter I've defeated or any of your victims. Now face me! I Khallenge you! To Mortal Kombat!"

The grin beneath the skull mask turned into a unexpected frown. But then his jaw went tense and turned into a snarl.

"Then you wish for your own death boy." Shao Kahn said rising up from his throne, grabbing the hammer as he did. He swung up, taking ahold of it with two hands and prepared himself. His shadow stretched across the room covering Remy. But he had been covered in darkness for his entire life. He could still see, and this would not stop him. In that darkness Remy prepared himself for his greatest fight.

Then Remy surged forward with a kick as Shao Kahn winded up his hammer for a strike. A glowing green aura surged from him as a spiraling blue wave escaped from Remy's kick.

And then the two clashed.

Sektor and Moloch Ending

They had travelled a long way. To places familiar and foreign. Each of them was filled with fighters who would be perfect candidates for the renewed Cyber Initiative. Started under his father, yet completed under him. So it only made sense that he would end up back here. In one of the old factories that he had created for that purpose. Before the betrayal and rebellion that lost his control of the Lin Kuei.

But with his newfound candidates and this old factory, Sektor would reklaim his rightful places. Sub-zero, Smoke, Frost, none would escape him. Even the former Sub-zero who declared he was 'perfected' and the 'Greatest Warrior' would not be safe. When they looked back to rekount Sektor's rise it would begin here.

But first he had to find out what had happened here.

The factory despite being shut down was in full use. The assembly lines were still running, the mechanical arms still moved processing and assembling it's victims into the perfect warriors. Skattered pieces of metallic bodies were discarded on the floor. The screens were ablaze with light and controls were primed to be used.

Yet he had only just arrived. Which made him suspicious.

Sektor skanned the room as the lumbering Moloch looked around. Both of them concluded it to be empty, but only one of them wasn't sure of it.

"Be on the lookout." Sektor warned.

"Drah..min." Moloch droned. Ignoring that name once again, Sektor walked over to one of the control panels to view what was being done since this factory had been decommissioned.

Using the buttons to see what had been done here, he saw camera footage and archives of a new wave of cyber warriors. All made in the image of the latest user. Juri Han.

"What is this?!" he exclaimed angrily "A perversion of my fathers work!"

"Oh what the hell is this?" a woman's voice suddenly shouted.

Sektor turned around instantly to face off against the newcomer. There he saw a woman entering through the doorway, the outline of her figure tightly constrained by the jumpsuit she wore. But the hair on her head was made out like two prongs that spread over the room like horns. She raised an eyebrow, blinking curiously at what she saw inside the room. A metal robot and some other monster starring off at the machines. In her hand was a cup of noodles, but on her face was a blank stare. Sektor recognized her from the computer, as if she had just come to life.

"You!" Sektor shouted "Who are you to be here?!"

"Me? I've been here. Who the hell are you?"

"So, you are the one who has reused this factory. Juri Han."

"Yeah, and what the hell is it to you?" Juri asked stirring the cup in her hand "What's wrong with this crap?" she complained peering closer to him, inspecting him "I didn't want it koming out looking like that!"

"Like that?! Like me?! You think I am one of your abominations?!"

"Oh well," Juri shrugged "Guess it's just the scrap pile for you."

Sektor clenched his fist at her "You know not what you have awoken." he warned "This place was created by my father. To forge a greater future. To evolve the Lin Kuei into the perfect warriors. To harden our resolve and fighting prowess to-"

"I don't care about any of that crap." Juri cut him off "You're dad must've skipped the bill if you're all he has to show for it."

"You shall see all that he had created. For I will kontinue it." Sektor declared raising his fist and shaking it at her "For it is you who shall serve me."

"Tah!" Juri threw her head back and laughed "I already had enough fun with your smoky friend. I've got all the test results I need. And I'm not in the mood for further disappointment."

"Then you shall die now!" he shouted "For you've come here only to be my first recruit! Moloch! Seize her!" he kommanded. But despite issuing that kommand it was no answered. Turning his head around he saw Moloch poking at one of the robotic arms hanging from the ceiling. The mechanical limb then poked him in his uppermost eye and threw his hand to his face to cover it, only to strike himself with his own orb knocking himself to the ground.

Sektor grumbled as Juri's cackle rang out "Quite the 'future' you have there." He then turned back to her.

"I shall take you down myself then."

"You can try." she licked her lips.

Sektor suddenly erupted forward, shooting like a rocket towards Juri. But she didn't move or even register him before her.

Then suddenly Sektor was blindsided as something rocketed into him from the side. Spiraling out of control Sektor crashed into the wall breaking through it. Groaning he shook his head and picked himself up, wondering what could it have been that overtook him. He turned his head to Juri, but saw now she was not alone.

For standing right before her and in her own image was a cyborg. Sleek, shiny and silver resembling Juri perfectly. The two did not stand there for long as another sprouted up from the ground through a teleporter no different than he would use. And that enraged him even more.

"What is this mockery?!" he cried out as more began to appear.

"Just some improvements I made. Bet you'll like em even more now." she said sipping from the cup.

"Perhaps I should finally thank you." he said smugly "You have only made my rise easier. And if you are so confident in them, then I shall turn you into one yourself. Then I can correct your mistake and join you to my army!"

"You and what army?" she laughed pointing back to Moloch behind him. Sektor turned around to see him laying on the ground, since when he picked his head up it locked onto the frame of a circular ring. Starring aimlessly at it even he could see that this ring that in fact housed a portal. One that Juri intended to use to get to the jungle to show off her new craft. But now that it was not in use, it was only an empty ring that Moloch starred at longingly.

Sektor could not show emotion, but he seethed in rage. He was outnumbered now and this demon was still lying on the ground. He turned back to the dumb beast who lingered behind him. Stomping over to him, Moloch turned his head up as Sektor stopped before him.

"Drahmin?" he asked looking up to him.

"No! Stupid Beast! Enough of that name! Get up! Fight!"

Moloch droned at him, peering over to see the line of fighters before him. But not the one he was separated from "Drahmin." he stated again.

"Stop saying that name! I command you! Fight for me!" Sektor shouted down to him and then raising his foot stomped onto his head. Moloch's head fell into the ground denting it. A low rumble escaped from him from beneath Sektors foot. And when he raised his head up, he was snarling at him. Sektor had only an instant to realize his error before Moloch snatched him by his leg that was pushing onto his head, crushing it in his grip.

Sektor let out a sharp painful cry before he was lifted up from the ground as Moloch rose from it. Roaring and waving his arms he swung Sektor into walls and machinery. Across from them Juri and her cyborgs backed up as Moloch went on a rampage using Sektor as a weapon against anything he saw. He slammed him into walls and the floor. He knocked him into machinery breaking both of them apart. It didn't take long for Juri to realize this had to stop.

"Well what are you waiting for?" she asked "Go get him, girls!" she commanded and unlike Moloch her creations obeyed. The two before her rocketed up to attack Moloch. But through blind rage and ferocity they were no match. One was swatted away by Sektor in his grip. While the other was quickly grabbed by Moloch who threw it to the ground, crushing it with ease.

"Eeh." Juri shrugged "Better bring out more." she said. And as she did what seemed to be an army of robots manifested, teleporting into the room. As they flew forward, Juri slid back to come to the control panel. She glanced up to see her cyborg creations swarm over Moloch. It didn't seem to matter how many there were. Some were swatted away by Sektor in his arms or crushed by Moloch's might grip. Some jumped on his back that he either tore off or slammed into the wall by backing up.

She turned back to the control panel. Using it quickly, she pressed buttons on it, dodging some stray wild swings from Moloch's arms and parts of her own cyborgs that flew with them. Then she looked over to them again and when she did something else appeared in the room. Electricity sparked and waned, but sparks were emitted from the center of that large metal ring. Soon enough opening up inside it was a portal. Moloch swinging Sektor wildly didn't even notice it. Not until the portal was open completely and swinging Sektor in his arms stopped only for a moment as he starred at it in some kind of stupor.

"Now would be great!" Juri shouted out. All of her cyborgs, those that were still in prime condition flew upwards and together knocked into Moloch who with Sektor still in his hands was pushed into the portal. Taken by surprise Moloch fell into it, with Sektor in his hands plummeting downwards into the portal. Falling fast, Sektor still in his grip tried to reach out to grab the edge of the ring to prevent his fall.

But Juri was even quicker about closing it than she was opening it.

Noise was snuffed out of the room as soon as she did. The factory she had taken control of to make her army of cyborgs was in disarray now. Still usable which is good for with an army like this she could make quite the profit. But still she was disparaged by their performance.

"Damn, that was close. Maybe next time I should get an army of demons huh?" she said looking to those that were still left which were outnumbered by the ones that were dismembered already. "But whatever," she shrugged "We got a sale to make." she said as she typed at the panel again. The portal opened again, this time revealing the Outworld Jungle. That is where she was meant to take these cyborgs she had made all herself.

As to where Sektor and Moloch went, she really didn't care.

But the two of them were taken far from where she was or even going. Their fall into the portal was long and surrounded in darkness. Eventually Sektor slipped from Moloch's grip to free fall all his own. For his part, damaged and broken Sektor fell farther and nearly in pieces and through another portal that had opened up. But not like the one that brought him there. He could see little to his fall, but what he could see was that he was in no realm he had ever been to before. Lying on the ground he could do nothing else but lament.

"no..no." he said through a crushed mask and body "My fathers will..my destiny.." he said as he starred around wondering where he was.

As for the one who held him, Moloch's fall was longer. He let go of Sektor as he fell, not knowing how long it was, but it came to a sudden stop when he landed on the ground breaking it into pieces. A hot seething felling followed and when he picked his head up he found he was back to where his journey started. In the NetherRealm.

Slowly, he droned picking his head up to view his familiar surroundings. Still there was fire and lave. Still there cries on anguish. And still it was only him. Alone for despite this event being over even though he couldn't perceive it, he could still see that his companion was nowhere in sight.

He sat up sniffling in place wallowing in his own pity. He gazed elsewhere at the NetherRealm. Far off in the distance on another set of molten rocks, he could see Gen watching as Noob Saibot battled Seth. But that did not interest him, for he was here and all alone. He continued to whimper in place. The only breaking of that sound was when he heard bare flat feet approaching from behind. Quickly and on guard Moloch turned around ready to face whatever there was.

But the anger in his snarling face turned to surprise when he saw who it was.

"Drahmin." he said happily.
