(Mood Madness)

Spectacular Webhead 11: Yep, there's a reason why he's one of the most beloved characters in the franchise.

OmniIBIBUltraInstinctGodzilla (ch 2): Yep, that was pretty much my train of thought too, but I will admit that Scott was one of my favorite parts of All Stars. At least Jo does try to help her team win until the merge. You just gave a perfect description of Anne Maria. I did mention that I'm giving Mal a decent overhaul here. Also yeah, the Infinity War reference. I couldn't help myself.

Theboiishere12345: Thanks, I'm glad to see you liked it, and I appreciate the feedback. I know what you mean about Anne Maria, and I didn't want to get rid of her so soon, but I couldn't get rid of any of the other characters either, so it mainly came down to process of elimination with her.

Volcasiron30: Thanks, I'm glad to see you're enjoying my stories. I'm not taking on any new stories right now, but I'll keep it in mind for the future.

SuperSonicHeroes: Yeah, Anne Maria was never meant to go very far, but I think she made an impact in her time on the island, and proved that she's not as bad as some of the other Villains on the island. Truth be told I always meant for her to be eliminated here, but I knew the Villains were due for another win, so I chose to have Anne Maria get sent over to the Heroes. Plus I had her go out on a fairly high note, like puking on Chris and getting a kiss from Mike. To be fair, if I were missing out on a million dollars I'd want some compensation too. And yeah, Owen was a lot of fun to write in this one.

OmniIBIBUltraInstinctGodzilla (ch 3): Like I said, I'm giving Mal a decent overhaul, starting with him gathering information on his competition. Though he did break Brick's alarm clock, but yeah as more of an afterthought. And yeah, we saw in canon that Mal couldn't control Mike's body for long periods of time, at leasts not until he assumed full control. Duncan and Anne Maria being swapped to the Heroes was inevitable, and Gwen being sent to the Villains, well I had to balance it out somehow. Jo was never the kind of person to accept her faults or take any responsibility for her mistakes, but at least she and Brick got their final showdown. Duncan will have an easier time fitting in with the Heroes this time around, but I did already try to address the love triangle between Mike, Zoey and Anne Maria. The two Invincibility Statues, well one of them at least will come into play in due time.

Jack8090: Those eliminations probably shouldn't have been that surprising, but the cameo by Owen was definitely fun to write. I have been giving some thought to how to go about episode 100 in this fic, and I've got some ideas, but you'll see how that plays out in due time. But it won't have to do with Don.

OmniIBIBUltraInstinctGodzilla (ch 4): Yeah I know, Anne Maria wasn't meant to last, but she did make a sizable impact in her time there. Mal is still keeping to the shadows, but you'll see how things progress when he takes full control. Courtney definitely had a moment to shine here, and I think she earned it. Duncan isn't the nicest guy, but he's not heartless either.

OmniIBIB (all of yours in one): Jo was always annoying, I personally didn't see too much of a difference in All Stars. You're not wrong though, Anne Maria was the first Hero to actually be eliminated in this fic, and the Villains do face a numbers disadvantage right now, but I plan to work that out over time. But yeah, Courtney is facing an uphill battle with her redemption arc in this story. I still stand by my opinion that All Stars was better than Pahkitew, mainly because the latter screwed up characters we didn't even know (Dave being a prime example) and made them essentially psychotic. Also don't worry about taking so long to review, I just appreciate getting feedback at all. The DJ and Dawn story arc is one I'm enjoying myself, even if DJ is in a bit of a predicament after the latest chapter. Owen making a cameo was something I couldn't resist, and from the looks of it that was well received. Yeah, Sierra wasn't really deserve of All Star status if you ask me. God only knows what Chris was thinking when he put her on the Heroes team, but yeah he probably did it just for fun. Glad to see you caught the references to Avatar and Star Wars in the last one. Owen's cameo was fun to write out, and you can't say that he isn't really committed, and I don't think anyone is surprised by Owen showing up where there's food. They spent enough time around him to know how he operates. Truth be told I actually did forget about Izzy being part of Heather's alliance in season one, and you gave a pretty good analysis of her character in your review. Izzy has definitely done some… questionable things, but I still like her and Owen together. They deserve to be happy, and they're definitely better than Gwuncan. I personally don't have a problem with Chris' new voice actor, I think he did a pretty good job all things considered.

Ellismskd24: Yep, Mal did what a good number of people were thinking of. And I still have plans for his dynamic with Duncan when the time comes.

Frosty Wolf: Thanks, I'm glad to see you liked it. I figured the Villains were due for another win by now, and yeah, gruel isn't particularly filling so they had more room, even with less people to work with. Anne Maria's elimination was pretty much the same, but she's not entirely at fault for the love triangle either. You're right, Owen is committed without a doubt, and his cameo on the island out of nowhere is something that shouldn't even surprise the other contestants anymore. They know how he works.

Starting with the recap…

In typical fashion, Chris started off the newest episode with a recap of the previous one "Last time on Total Drama All Stars: After being forced to swap teams by yours truly, Duncan and Gwen found themselves stuck living with the enemy. But while Gwen ended up being given the cold shoulder by about half of her team, Duncan received a reception warm enough to make him call his own bad boy-hood into question. When the time came for the challenge, our Heroes and Villains got to gobble down some giant pancakes, and in a few cases they got to throw them right back up thanks to a barf-tacular obstacle course of my own design. Unfortunately, where some of the barf went left a lot to be desired, ANNE MARIA! At least the rest knew how to re-swallow the stuff. In the end the Villains won the day, the Heroes were sent strqaight to Loserville, and Anne Maria, the aforemention barfer, took a particularly awkward Flush of Shame, albet with some company from a TRAITOR who shall not be named."

"It was Owen." came the input from one of the interns.

"Guess who's getting flushed next? That guy!" Chris pointed at the intern, which prompted him to run like hell "Anyway, we still have 11 players in the running for the season and the question remains, which of them will be the next to take a circular swim in the big porcelain bowl after that intern? There's only one way to find out, and it's to tune in right here and right now, on the newest episode of Total! Drama! All Stars!"

(intro)

Shots of four brand new spotlights popping out, following by the camera zooming through the camp, past the spa hotel and crappy cabin, up to the top of the thousand foot cliff, and then down into the lake below

Dear mom and dad I'm doing fine

You guys are on my mind

Underneath the lake, Anne Maria (also holding onto a can of hairspray) and Courtney are both tugging back and forth on a treasure chest, which opens to reveal Cody inside, along with Mr Coconut and a McLean Brand Invincibility Statue floating out of it and to the surface, while Duncan is lounging in a canoe.

You asked me what I wanted to be

And now I think the answer is plain to see

In a nearby forest, Jo is jogging through and passes a clearing where DJ and Dawn both sit on the ground meditating, hand in hand and surrounded by several animals.

I wanna be famous

Over at a certain river, Heather and Alejandro are riding in a canoe and glaring at each other until the canoe goes over a waterfall, with Alejandro gracefully leaping out onto dry land, but Heather goes over with the canoe. Down below, Brick is standing on a cracked log doing push ups until Heather lands on his back, causing the log to give out and make both of them fall.

I wanna live close to the sun

Go pack your bags cause I've already won

Scott watches Heather and Brick fall and laughs, until Fang comes out of the confessional and starts chasing him.

Everything to prove, nothing in my way

I'll get there one day

Pan over to where Chef is just relaxing in a lounge chair in front of the spa hotel watching all of the chaos unfolding on a monitor, only look over and scowl as he saw Mike and Zoey sitting on the beach gazing longingly at each other… only for the moment to be ruined by Mike letting out a gasp, followed by a bang of his hair coming down and covering one eye, a malicious smirk spreading across his face.

Cause I wanna be famous!

Gwen is sitting at the Dock of Shame and pulls Cody out of the water, the two of them staring into each other's eyes, only for the moment to be ruined by Chris dropping a bear onto the dock with a helicopter.

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na.

Pan over to the lake where all 14 contestants (Alejandro, Anne Maria, Brick, Cody, Courtney, Dawn, DJ, Duncan, Gwen, Heather, Jo, Mike, Scott, Zoey) are standing on a series of poorly built platforms holding jousting sticks and all preparing to fight.

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

The teams clash, with Brick and Jo taking each other out, Zoey shoving Scott back, Anne Maria pushing Dawn back, Mike going up against Alejandro, Duncan and DJ pushing each other back, Alejandro pushing Cody back, finally Gwen and Heather pushing each other back.

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

The scene changes to night at the campfire ceremony, with Zoey looking concerned and reaching out towards Mike (with the bang down over one eye), who has his back turned to her, with her attempt to reach out to him being interrupted by Chris popping up in between them.

(Whistling tune as the song ends)

One intro later…

"Okay seriously, this is officially a complete load." Duncan spat out some gruel and tossed his bowl to the side "I'm just gonna say it, I'd rather go off forging for my own food like they do on Survivor than put up with Chef's crap any more. Any objections?"

"Personally I don't have a problem with it Soldier." Brick set down an empty bowl on the railing of the cabin steps "Say what you will about the taste of Chef's cooking, but at the very least we get the necessary food groups."

"You mean the different ways to make us upchuck over ourselves during challenges? Pretty sure he's got that down to a science. Come on DJ, even you can't like this crap right?"

"Yeah, sure…" DJ on the other hand was just lounging over one of the railings staring aimlessly out towards the woods, specifically towards where Dawn was meditating under a nearby tree with a squirrel nestled in her lap, then let out a sigh as he pushed his gruel away "I'm gonna head out and get some air, I don't really have much appetite right now." and so he just walked away from the scene without another word.

"Well he's officially in one of his moods. Never thought I'd say that about him."

"He's been like that ever since the… incident during the challenge yesterday." Brick blushed at the memory of it "I can imagine why he might have been perturbed by it."

"Oh get real, if it were me I'd be wearing that like a badge of honor."

"Touching a woman in her… unmentionables?"

"More like getting somewhere with the girl I'm into like DJ is into the aura chick."

"Okay, gonna put a pin in… touching them for now." Cody looked over at Duncan "You mean you know about the two of them?"

"I knew about that way before Revenge of the Island came out. DJ told me and Geoff awhile back that he had this one girl that was basically his girl next door. Literally."

"Oh. How come you didn't mention that before?"

"Cause I'm not a snitch and it doesn't have anything to do with me. You know what screw it, I'm gonna go track down some fruit like on Survivor. Later." so Duncan gave the two of them his typical finger pistole and walked off into the woods.

"Okay, so… that happened."

"That's one way to put it I suppose." Brick shared a look with Cody "I may not agree with his perspective on the… incident, but if nothing else I have to commend him for recognizing that their history wasn't his to tell. I respect that."

"Truth be told I'm not surprised he'd do that, if nothing else because it wouldn't be the first time he chose not to cross that line either."

"Really?"

"Yeah, remember Total Drama World Tour? Me and Gwen kissed in the confessional and he walked in on us, but he kept it to himself, and he actually reassured me that him and Gwen are just friends. Even after I punched him."

"Um…"

"Poorly timed jab at a costume Chris made me wore. Anyway he even kinda respected me for it, at least I think. I always had my doubts, but Duncan really isn't that bad of a guy once you get to know him." Cody subsequently ducked underneath a rock flying in his direction "It's just that he hates to admit it, you know having a reputation to maintain and all that."

"Soldiers or not, everyone has their pride."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Confessional)

"Hey just cause I'm not a giant ball of sunshine and rainbows like the rest of these dipsticks doesn't mean I'm a snitch, so let me get that straight." Duncan shot a scowl at the camera, then let out a sigh "Great, now they're gonna think I'm going soft. I gotta find a way to get back my badassery before being stuck on Team Hero ruins my rep. I could try stealing Chris' wallet. No, I've done that like five times already."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, with the Villains…

At the same time, Heather and Alejandro were having dinner in the dining room of the Spa Hotel amidst the sound of whistling, which quickly got on Heather's nerves as she took the chance to round on Alejandro "Oh for the love of god, do you have to whistle through your nose while you eat Windy?"

"...Typical Heather." at this, Alejandro merely let out a sigh and took his leave of the dining room without another word.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Confessional- Heather)

"Typical Heather? Are you serious?" Heather was left taken aback and rather indignant at that line "That's what he calls a comeback? It's like he's not even trying anymore… It's like he's lost interest in me… No like hell that's going to happen, nobody loses interest in me!"

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Confessional- Alejandro)

"It's merely a matter of strategy." Alejandro gave a smirk "In order to get the upper hand I will have to throw Heather off her game, and so far so bueno. Muy bueno."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, outside the Spa Hotel…

"You know it's funny" Cody sat on the roof of the loser cabin looking up at the sunset "When it's not trying to kill you, this island is acutally kind of peaceful."

"The only downside of that is that moments like that are far, few and in between."

Cody looked down to see Gwen standing in front of the loser cabin with a basket in hand "Oh hey, what are you doing out here?"

"Two things mainly. One, with Courtney in exile the only company in the Spa Hotel is Alejandro and Heather, so I had to get the (bleep) out of there. Two, I figured you guys were gonna be sick of stomaching Chef's gruel, so I snagged a couple of things from the hotel kitchen."

"Really? You didn't have to-" Cody cut himself short when he suddenly took a whiff "Do I smell chocolate?"

"I snagged a few chocolate chip cookies out of the pantry, and a few BLTs." she held up one of the sandwiches in question "Like I said, nobody should have to stomach Chef's cooking, but call it my way of saying, sorry I puked on you during the challenge yesterday." in an instant she saw him leap off the cabin roof and land in front of her and was subsequently pulled into a brief yet heated kiss, which she pulled away from after a moment "Okay, that's never going to stop taking me off guard-" she paused and looked over to see him burying his head in the basket "And you aren't even listening anymore, okay."

"These are amazing!" Cody pulled out of the bag with a cookie in hand and some chocolate on his face, and he pulled Gwen into a tight hug "You're amazing, I love you, you're awesome on every level!"

"Yeah well I-" Gwen cut herself short as she registered everything he said "Hold on, what did you say?"

"You're awesome on every level."

"No, before that."

"You're amazing."

"No I meant- You know what, I think I'm gonna go lie down." she handed him the bag "Give some of that to the others okay?"

"Yeah sure, no problem. I love you." Cody pulled Gwen into another kiss, then made his way back into the Loser Cabin. It was only after the door closed and he put the bag down that he realized something "Oh my god… What the hell did I just do?"

"Evening campers, time for you lot to gather around the starting line outside the Loser Cabin for a big announcement!"

"...Well so much for processing."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Confessional)

"I can't believe I actually said it." Cody held his face in his hands "I mean don't get me wrong, I do love Gwen, I've known it for… way longer than I'm comfortable saying on camera, but I've seen enough cheesy rom com stuff to know that the premature I love you can pretty much wreck an entire relationship. It took me ages to actually get together with Gwen, the last thing I want to do now is screw it up. I don't know, maybe I should just give her some space, wait until after the next challenge to sort things out. Assuming I don't get mauled again or something."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

A few moments later…

"Good evening all." Dawn made her way over to the starting line positioned outside the Loser Cabin and found the other contestants (aside from Courtney) already there, only to stop and take a look around "Oh dear, your auras have all become so turbulent, it's rather troubling."

"In normal speak, it means they've got a lot of crap going on. Take my advice and just tune it out or laugh at it." Duncan told her dryly, only to stop when he noticed Dawn looking at him with intensity "What?"

"Your aura has turned an even darker shade of green than it usually is."

"No idea what the hell that means."

"A typical mix of green and black suits your aura well, but it's grown darker due to the growing concerns you have about losing your reputation since you joined the Heroes team."

"...Where the (bleep) did that come from?"

"I can see it right there in your aura, along with your criminal actions and appearance spawning as a byproduct of your difficult relationship with your father."

"...I'm gonna go over there." Duncan promptly walked away from Dawn over to the other end of the starting line, and found Cody shying away from the others "Sup."

"Hey." Cody cast a nervous look at him "What are you doing over here?"

"Hiding from the freaky aura chick that's getting way too personal for my liking. You?"

"Hiding in shame at the fact I might have just ruined things with my girlfriend."

"Got it. Got anything to drink?"

"I still have a few sodas from a care package Gwen gave me earlier." Cody pulled out a soda and handed one to Duncan "Want one?"

"...Okay, so being on the Hero team has a few perks."

"Alright campers, before we get into the next torture session- I mean challenge, let's welcome back our latest exile from Boney Island, Courtney!"

Sure enough, it was at this moment that Courtney was literally dropped down onto the scene by a claw attached to a helicopter, only to be caught by a muscular set of arms "Thank you DJ."

"It's what I'm here for." DJ gave her an encouraging smile as he set her down on the ground, only for his gaze to wander over to Dawn, causing him to cringe and back away.

"If you're looking to hide from your problems, the line forms behind us." Cody told him, which prompted him to come to a stop next to him and Duncan.

"Well at least I'm in good company."

"And we've got soda." Duncan handed a can to DJ and caught him in a quick fist bump.

"Listen up people, I've got some good news for you." Chris made his way over to them wearing a safari hat "As a special little treat, it's time for me to put all of you through an extremely dangerous night challenge!"

"So it's good news only in your screwed up little world." Gwen noted dryly.

"Not only that, but it's good for entertainment value, duh. I can tell that the ratings for this one are gonna be gold." Chris then turned everyone's attention to where Chef was bringing a monitor onto the scene "In a nod to the buried treasure fiasco from Revenge of the Island, your challenge is to finish a race that takes you to the far end of the island. The first team to get every member over the finish line wins a night in the Spa Hotel, and someone from the loser team is going to be taking the big flush."

"Sounds easy enough." Duncan gave a shrug, only to falter when he realized what he said "Oh (bleep)."

"You're right Mr Former Bad Boy, it does sound pretty easy. But the reason we picked tonight for this challenge is because the full moon tonight is an extremely rare Blue Havrest moon that only occurs once every few years, and let's just say it's got quite the reputation for having an unusual effect on the animals of the island, along with being rumored to have an effect on other creatures too."

"What exactly do you mean by other creatures?" asked Courtney.

"I'm not really sure actually, it was mainly a note mentioned at the end of the article we found, but nothing ever actually confirmed it. But moving on from that, since the Villainous Vultures won the last challenge, they earned a map that gives them the fastest route across the island, and the Heroic Losers get a penalty: They get to wear nifty bacon hats and sausage tails, which will definitely add to the fun when you come face to fang with the friendly creatures of the island, and by friendly I mean hungry."

"Great… just great." DJ cringed as he looked at his new meat attire, then cast a glance over and saw Dawn looking green in the face "Dawn are you okay?"

"Yes, I will be alright… as soon as I rid myself of these depraved garments." Dawn promptly ripped off her bacon hat and sausage tail and threw them aside.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Confessional)

"Personally, I'm proud to say that I'm prepared for this challenge!" Brick gave a grin full of pride as he held up a set of night vision goggles "With these on my side, my fear of the dark isn't going to stop me! Not this time! You'd better get ready Wawanakwa at night, because Private Brick MacArthur is coming for you!" but then the lights went out, causing him to scream in terror, followed by a familiar tinkling sound "Oh come on!"

"Large and in charge huh? More like Private Piss Pants living up to the name." came another familiar voice, followed by snickering.

"What the- Jo?!"

"Awesome right?" came the voice of Chris through the intercom "She left a pre-recorded message to screw with you, just in case!"

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Back with the challenge…

"Hey guys, I've got an idea." Mike gave a grin as he turned over to the others "If the Villains have a map of the quickest route to the finish line…"

"You're thinking we should follow them. That's a great idea." DJ gave a smile of approval as he made his way back over to the others, only to stop when he noticed Duncan staring at Mike with a degree of intensity "You okay?"

"What?" Duncan snapped out of it and looked at DJ "Sorry, it's just… I feel like I've seen him somewhere before."

"You mean from Revenge of the Island?" asked Cody, only to stop when he noticed the two of them visibly cringe "Did I say something?"

"You're the only one of us who didn't do a cameo last season. You're a lucky little (bleep) for that. But no, I didn't bother paying attention to any of that. I'm not kidding though, I feel like I've seen him somewhere before."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, on the Villain side…

"Okay we have a map, that should give us an advantage." Courtney looked over and took notice of Gwen isolating herself and looking downcast "You okay?"

"What?" Gwen looked over at her "Yeah I'm fine, I've just got stuff on my mind."

"Like what?"

"Don't care about the drama, focus over here!" Heather made her way over to the group with the map in hand.

"Alright people, better be ready to get moving already!" Chris pulled out his air horn "On your mark…"

"I believe a piece of pie is what you mean." Alejandro let out a sigh, which earned him a dirty look from Heather.

"Get set…"

"Listen you little-" Heather didn't get the chance to finish before Chris blew on his air horn, which prompted the Villains to take off running, with the Heroes following not too far behind them.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Night fell, and the moon was shining over the skies above.

"Okay, let's just stick close to the other team and see if we can follow the Villains until they get close to the finish line." DJ and the rest of the Heroes made their way through the forest, only for him to look over and see Brick running ahead of the pack "Hey Brick, shouldn't we try and stay together right now?"

"No need to worry soldier, I have no problems leading this unit into battle! With my night vision goggles lighting the way, victory is within our grasp!" Brick gave a grin full of confidence as he charged a short distance ahead of the group… only to end up crashing face first into a tree and falling to the ground with a thud "Ow…"

"Hang tight man, I've got you." DJ came to a stop to help Brick back onto his feet "You gonna be okay?"

"I think so, I just-" Brick cut himself short when his goggles cracked apart and fell to the ground in front of them "NOOOO!"

"Oh man… sorry pal. You were really attached to those things weren't you?"

"No. Well I mean yes, my superior gave them to me so they are a bit sentimental.. It's just that now I'm out here… in the dark, without any kind of light."

"Ah, not a fan huh?"

"I've always hated the dark, ever since I was little. It's always the creaks and not knowing what's out there… it always makes my skin crawl. And my bladder run."

"Ooh…" DJ cringed a bit at that last part, but then his gaze softened as he pulled Brick to his feet and the two of them rushed to catch up with the others "You know I think I might actually know something that can help you with that fear."

"Really? What is it?"

"Well it's- Hey hold on, do you see that?" the two of them, along with the rest of the Heroes, looked up to see the moon turning a shade of blue and unleash a pulse of moonlight "What the heck?"

"Blue moonlight, I've never seen anything like it." Cody muttered, followed by loud sounds of growling and crashing… and then they looked over to see a large horde of rabbits snarling and barring their teeth "Now I'm thinking that's a good thing."

"This is unheard of!" Dawn was left looking on in horror at the sight of the rabbits, along with some squirrels and ducks nearby, turning vicious and angry "What happened to these peaceful creatures? Such a things is unheard of…"

"I don't know, it's just-" Mike ended up cutting himself short as the moonlight washed over him, causing him to let out a gasp as Mal took over, a smirk spreading across his face "Fortuitous if nothing else."

"What was that?" Zoey cast a look over him "You say something Mike?"

"What?" Mal quickly pushed his bang back up and imitated Mike's voice "Nothing, just caught a bit off guard by the moon. It's kind of freaky, that's all."

"That's not the only unsettling sensation falling over all of us tonight." Dawn muttered under her breath as she shot a glare in the direction of Mal.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Confessional- Mal)

"So apparently the Blue Harvest Moon brought me back." Mal frowned in thought, then gave a shrug "Unexpected, but not altogether unpleasant. Since I'm in control I assume until this blue moon thing wears off, maybe it'll give me the opportunity to experience first hand what it's like to take part in one of these challenges, so I know what to expect. But before I get into that, I have to make sure I sound like Mike. Lucky for me I've got plenty of practice with that." he pushed up his bang and did his impression of Mike's voice "Hi there, I'm a bug-eyed dipstick and everyone loves me! Me and my girlfriend act like a couple straight out of a Disney movie!" he let out a chuckle "Looks like I've still got it and you can't tell me that last part isn't true either."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Confessional- Dawn)

"This is exactly what I was afraid of." Dawn's tone was grave "A great evil has just risen among us, unlike any those of us on the island have faced before, except for one, though he does not yet realize it. Those among the Villains such as Heather and Alejandr, they are a threat yes… but even they are paltry to what I fear will come next…"

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, with the Villains…

"Okay, quick question…" Courtney and the other Villains watched in disbelief as an alligator came to a stop in front of them, wagging its tail and acting like a docile puppy "In what world are alligators supposed to do that?"

"Evidently, this moon is like no other I've ever seen before." Alejandro frowned in thought "It must hold some sort of unique properties that cause the animals to become their opposite, hence the alligator's turn in personality."

It was then that things got really weird, mainly in the form of Heather speaking up with wide eyes and a bright smile "Oh wow Alejandro, you really are so smart!"

"Who's a little bougie bougie boo?" and then she started cuddling the alligator, much to the clear horror of the other Villains "You are, yes you are, oh yes you are!"

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Confessional- Alejandro)

"Ay dios mio." Alejandro was left shuddering at the thought "I've never seen Heather act so sweet and kind, and honestly such a thought is truly terrifying!"

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Confessional- Gwen)

"Okay, I think it's official." Gwen's expression turned deadpan "If Heather of all people starts acting like a chick from a Disney movie, you know we're all royally (bleep)."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, with the Heroes…

"Everybody get down!" DJ stood in front of Dawn and the other Heroes to defend them from the oncoming birds, only for them to start swarming him and sinking their teeth into different parts of his body, causing him to run around screaming in pain "Get them off me, and how the heck do birds have teeth?!"

"Hold on soldier, we're coming to help you!" Brick, Dawn and Cody were quick to chase after him.

"Okay, nothing about this is good…" Zoey found herself being forced to back away as a duck (now suddenly sprouting a set of very sharp teeth) advanced on her "Okay I'm with DJ on this one, how do birds suddenly get teeth?!"

"(Bleep)!" Duncan was forced to dodge a bird that took a sharp dive towards his head, and then he promptly took off running "You know what screw it, I'm out of here!"

"...Okay, time to assess." Mal on the other hand took a look around at the sight of DJ being attacked by birds, Zoey backing away from a duck, Duncan on the run and the rest of the Heroes chasing after DJ "Bottom line: Mike got himself into some serious (bleep)."

"Mike help!" Zoey was now left running from the predatorial duck in terror.

"I can't hear you, I'm gonna go check up ahead and make sure there isn't any danger. And if I have time, probably re-evaluate how I make life decisions." and so Mal took off further down the path, leaving Zoey to fend for herself "Like signing for this (bleep) of a show."

"Mike wait!" Zoey looked back to see him take off, but was quickly forced to change routes to avoid the ravenous duck.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, with the other wayward Heroes…

"Alright, just one more and that should do it." Cody grabbed hold of the last bird and pulled it off of DJ's shoulder, only for it to try and bite at his face, prompting him to throw it and for it to fly off "Okay seriously, pretty sure birds like that aren't supposed to be bloodthirsty. Or have crazy sharp teeth."

"It's both strange and worrisome." Dawn knelt down and looked at a rabbit in her hand and frowned slightly "No matter how closely I try to examine them, I can't seem to find the aura of any of the island's creatures. Perhaps this exotic moon is generating a sort of mental block within all of them." it was then that the rabbit tried biting her hand.

"Okay, I think that's enough of that." DJ picked up the rabbit and quickly threw it aside as he fell to his knees in front of Dawn "The last thing any of us want is for you of all people to get hurt from these things." then he paused as he took in what he just said, and looked over to see her blushing a shade of pink "Uh, I mean… Any of us, but you… Can someone please change the topic?"

"Well I've got one topic in mind team… mainly the fact that we're missing almost half our team right now." Brick gestured to where the others were nowhere to be seen.

"...Aw crapbaskets."

"Let's stay calm team, we have to focus on the task at hand. First, we have to analyze our current situation."

"Which is that we're alone, our team is separated and we're on an island of animals that are trying to kill us." Cody paused and looked at DJ "Not really that different from most of the time on this Island when you think about it."

"True, and it is incredibly dark… and my night vision goggles are broken… But we have the light of the blue moon that can lead us out of this forest. We can do this."

"In that case it's probably for the best if we didthc this stuff." Cody pulled off his bacon hat and sausage tail and threw them aside, leaving a few rabbits to devour them "Assuming that we don't get a penalty for leaving them. I probably should've thought of that before I let the animals eat them."

"Keep in mind that I abandoned mine before the challenge even started, and we received no penalty then." Dawn pointed out.

"Huh. Good point." Cody looked between himself and the other three, and then an idea came into his head "Hey here's a thought, we gotta find the others and cross together in order to win the race, so maybe we should try splitting up. How about I go with Brick, and DJ can go off on his own with Dawn?"

"Wait what?" DJ's eyes widened as he looked at Dawn and blushed a deep shade of red, and then his gaze snapped towards Cody "Dude what the heck are you-"

"So it's settled. Come on Brick, let's get moving." Cody quickly ushered Brick away, aiming a thumbs up at DJ before taking off after his new partner "I think that went well."

"Not that I'm complaining soldier…" Brick cast a glance over at Cody "But I'm sensing that there was an ulterior motive behind your choice to split us up."

"I'll admit, there might have been. But I've done the same thing before with Gwen and Trent back in season one, so I figured maybe a little more experience in that field couldn't hurt."

"...Didn't they break up in season two?"

"Yeah, but that's besides the point."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, with the Villains…

"Hurry senoritas, we don't have any time to waste!" Alejandro was quick to take off running along the path, with Courtney and Gwen trailing close behind him "Hurry up Heather, you're the one with the map!"
"Yay, we're running again!" Heather broke off from cuddling with the alligator and rushed to the front of the pack with the map in hand "Good work you guys, now we're already halfway to the finish line!" and then she leapt ahead of the others "Yipee, this is fun!"

"...Ay dios mio."

"Okay, I'm just gonna say it." Gwen shared a look with Courtney "This is officially a whole new level of (bleep) up."

"I know." Courtney muttered "It doesn't make sense, why would Heather be affected by the Blue Harvest Moon?"

"I don't know, maybe she's part wolf." the two of them shared a chuckle, but it quickly died down "But seriously, that's a new level of freaky."

"Now that I think about it, Chris did say that animals and possibly other creatures could end up being affected by the moon." Courtney paused as another thought came to her "Wait. If Heather was affected, does that mean the rest of us could be affected too?"

"...Oh (bleep), this is turning into something straight out of the Twilight Zone isn't it?"

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, with the host with the least…

"Interesting prospect. Let's see if it pans out." Chris gave a smirk as he watched the chaos unfold through the screen in the control room, then turned to the camera "But the big question remains, which team will make it to the other side of the island first, and which of them are about to turn into the next serving of teen cuisine? Be sure to stay tuned and find out when we come back, right here on Total! Drama! All Stars!"

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

One commercial break later…

"Okay, when a Disney princess's BFFs start trying to kill you, I think it's time to re-evaluate the way you make decisions." Mal continued making his way along the path, only to stop when he heard the sound of footsteps echoing throughout the forest "Case and point, the cast of Bambi is about to stick their hooves in my-" cut himself short when he turned around and stopped cold when he found himself face to face with a tall thin figure clad in all black, its face white and featureless "Oh. Ooh… (bleep)." and then he turned on his heel and ran without another word, only to screech to a halt when the figure appeared again, prompting him to grab the closest thing he could find (which happened to be a raccoon in this case) and throw it at the figure, then take off running in another direction "Okay quick note, add survive an encounter with Slender Man to list of achievements…"

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, with the Villains…

"Okay, this has officially crossed over into cliches." Gwen rolled her eyes as she looked at what lay in front of the Villains "A rickety old rope bridge? Anyone with half a brain cell can see that it's a trap, we should just go around."

"But won't that take three times as long?" Courtney pointed out.

"Better late than dead. The bottom line is that I'm not crossing that thing, and if any of you have brains then you'll follow me." Gwen turned on her heel and started walking away.

"What if you get lost? Don't forget that every member of our team has to get across the finish line to win."

"Besides, if you don't come with us then we'll miss you so much!" Heather gave a bright smile that once again freaked everybody out.

"Okay let me rephrase that, don't leave me alone with her!"

"Hey if I spent three seasons putting up with her being a (bleep), you can spend an hour with her being a giant ball of sunshine. See you on the other side." and so Gwen disappeared into the distance.

"Good luck!" Heather waved after her, causing Alejandro and Courtney to shudder.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Confessional)

"Talk about gullible bordering on crappy movie cliches." Gwen let out a snort "Anyone who's ever seen a movie knows the rope bridge always breaks. That and I'm pretty sure Heather has rabies, and I may or may not have been looking for a convenient excuse to get the (bleep) away from her. Okay I totally was."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, with some of the separated Heroes…

"Hey dude come on, get the hell up already."

Mal let out a low groan as he opened his eyes and found himself laying sprawled out on the ground, with Duncan looking over him, prompting him to put on his Mike persona as he slowly pulled himself to his feet "Oh uh, hey Duncan. What are you doing here?"

"Trying to survive Revenge of Bambi's side characters, then I found you lying in a ditch down here. What the hell gives?"

"Well I'm pretty sure I just survived an encounter with the Slender Man by chucking a raccoon at his face so… yeah, that's pretty much a thing now." Mal took a moment to shake off the rest of his disorientation, then looked down at his bacon hat lying in front of him "Random question, you think if I ate this we'd get penalized?"

"How the hell should I know?" Duncan paused and looked over Mike for a moment "Okay quit screwing with me dude, what's your deal?"

"I'm not following you."

"It's been eating at me for days, I know I know you from somewhere."

"You mean Total Drama Revenge of the Island? You probably saw me when you made a cameo too."

"No it ain't that, I know you from somewhere else. I just can't put my finger on it." the two of them exchanged glares for a moment, until they were distracted by the sound of chittering "What the hell is that?"

"My guess is that." Mal jerked a thumb at where a raccoon was digging behind a rock "Refresh my memory, are raccoons normally vicious without the rabies?" he was met with silence "You still with me?"

"So are they?" Duncan directed Mal's attention to where a large band of raccoons was coming up from behind them, stacking up in rows "Aw (bleep)."

"That's how it's gonna be? Fine, let them have it their way." Mal gave a smirk as he ripped off his bacon hat, took a bite out of it and tossed it to the side, then pulled off his sausage tails and held it out in front of him "Time to see if you can use meat to choke a rabid animal. I figured you would be more excited about this sort of thing."

"I'm getting a major sense of deja vu, and not in a good way."

"How so?" Mal received his answer in the form of the racoon stacking themselves on top of each other until the formed a large furry monster, complete with a set of glowing orange eyes that let out a roar.

"Like that."

"...Huh. Well that's more than meets the eye."

"That's what I said the first time this happened to me."

"Season one?"

"Yep ,only back then I had a chainsaw."

"But it didn't do a damn thing."

"Nope."

"...So we run like hell?"

"That'd be my call."

"Just checking." the two shared another look, and then ran away screaming in two different directions, with the raccoon monster choosing to go after Duncan.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, with other wayward Heroes…

"So… the moon is pretty scary tonight, I guess." DJ cast an awkward look at Dawn as the two of them made their way through the forest, but eventually he stopped and let out a sigh "Okay so here's the thing Dawn, I think we need to talk about… you know."

"Indeed I do." Dawn placed a hand on DJ's shoulder and gave him a gentle smile "There's no need for you to hide anything from me. I know your trepidation and hesitation, and I also fully understand them."

"You do?"

"Of course. Your relationship with your mother is paramount to you, the two of you have been each other's world ever since your father left. You fear that she would be threatened by anyone else giving you what she does."

"There's also the time that you got into this huge grudge match with her because you tried to convince me to turn vegan. Which I kinda did."

"I admit that was far from my finest hour, but I've since learned, at least to a certain extent, that not everyone is open to my suggestions of altering their lifestyles."

"And the aura reading."

"That too. The point is that you have nothing to fear, I don't intend to hold anything against you, and I fully understand your hesitation."

"But you deserve an answer at least, or something. I just…"

"You need time. Take as much as you need, there's no point in us rushing." DJ paused at the sound of low growling, and then they looked over to see a multitude of angry beavers having surrounded them "But we may have to run for our lives."

"Let's not assume anything just yet." Dawn looked at the beavers and held out a hand. A full moment passed before she recoiled in horror "No, it can't be…"

"What's the matter?"

"It's the moon, something about it is blocking the auras of these creatures from being visible to me. There's nothing I can do to help them, to stop them… nothing." she began trembling visibly as a result.

"Okay, I think that's the point to call it." DJ promptly scooped Dawn up into his arms bridal style and took off running, the beavers hot on their trail.

"...DJ?" Dawn spoke up again after a few moments of silence "Thank you for this."

"I'd do anything for you, you know that."

"I'm glad… because there's something I wish to say to you when this is over. If not for your sake then for mine."

"Right, I'll… keep that in mind."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, with the Villains…

"Come on you guys!" Heather (still being nice to the point where it was scary) was trying to rally the rest of her team into crossing the bridge "There's nothing to be afraid of."

"Nothing except for you." Alejandro muttered under his breath, though he and Courtney both failed to notice Heather's eye twitch.

"Wait I know, maybe someone strong and brave should cross the bridge first and make sure it's safe!"

"Uh huh."

"Alright fine, if it means we can get out of here without getting eaten by squirrels then I'll go ahead and do it." Courtney took a breath and quickly rushed her way across the bridge as fast as she could, until she reached the other side "Okay it's stable, we can cross it!" she stopped short when she looked over and noticed a beaver sitting on a stump nearby "Um… refresh my memory for a second. Are beavers normally hostile?" she received her answer in the form of the beaver pouncing at her, prompting her to leap out of the way to avoid it… only for it to instead latch onto one of the ropes holding up the bridge until she pried it off and threw it away, leaving it to scurry off "Um… okay, that one is on me."

"Well, I suppose a less stable way of getting across is better than nothing." Alejandro looked at the bridge, then shot a grin at Heather "Shall we go mi amor?"

"As long as you think it's safe." Heather gave another bright smile that made Heather cringe, and the two of them started making their way along the bridge.

"Easy mi amor, just take it slowly, one step at a time."

"Right." Heather took another step forward until one of the wooden boards gave out, causing her to fall until Alejandro caught her by the wrist… and then she shot a smug grin at him "I knew you still cared."

"...Que?"

"I'm pretty sure she played all of us." Courtney muttered from the other side, only to end up being swarmed by another beaver.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Confessional- Heather)

"Look who's typical now sucker!" Heather gave a very satisfied smirk "As if I could be affected by something like that moon, but as long as I can keep him guessing, I'm always going to have the upper hand over him. And I just hope I never have to like a Snow White reject again, I'm getting nauseous just thinking about it."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Confessional- Alejandro)

"How dare she trick me! I should've let that bruja fall!" Alejandro could only slap his face over falling for Heather's ruse "Estupido!"

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

On the other side of the bridge…

"Oh for the love of- Chomp this you furry little (bleep)!" Heather snatched the beaver from its attempts to bite at her leg and used it to cut the other rope on the bridge and let it fall "There, now the other team can't use the bridge to cross."

"But that means Gwen can't use it either." Courtney pointed out "We all have to cross the finish line to win, assuming she can't make it around."

"Yeah well, that's Gwen's problem. If we lose then it's her fault not mine." Heather promptly threw the beaver into the ravine below, receiving a certain finger gesture from the creature as it fell.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, with some of the wayward Heroes…

"You guys!" Zoey made her way through a clearing and rushed forward, until she finally caught up with Brick and Cody "Are you guys okay?"

"Well we haven't been mauled, so I'd say we could be worse." Cody gave a shrug "Any idea what happened to Mike or Duncan?"

"I was hoping they were with you, I haven't seen either of them in awhile."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, with the wayward non-couple…

"(Insert stream of bleeps)!" Duncan was left running for his life as the giant raccoon monster continued chasing after him, shooting raccoons at him from its makeshift arm cannon, until one of them latched onto him and "This is so NOT how I wanna die!"

"(Insert stream of bleeps)!" Gwen on the other hand was dealing with her own problems, in the form of a pack of squirrels chasing after her "Get the (bleep) away from me you little freaks, I swear you're worse than that Road Runner duck!"

"Gwen heads up!" thinking quick, Duncan grabbed hold of his sausage tail, the raccoon still attached to it, and then he threw it past the squirrels, causing it and the raccoon monster to chase after it. Once those were gone, both of them let out a sigh "Alright, so that happened I guess. You good?"

"I'm not dead, let's leave it there. But seriously, those things can transform? How in the (bleep) does that make sense?"

"Worst part is I'm pretty sure the moon doesn't have anything to do with that."

"Either way it's official, this challenge SUCKS."

"Meh, it's not the worst one we've ever had to deal with." Duncan paused as he watched the pack of squirrels and raccoon monster fighting over the sauces "But I gotta admit it's getting up there. I didn't think you'd be so wound up over all of this though."

"Look I've got enough crap on my plate without Chris trying to kill us."

"Let me guess, problems with the boy toy?"

"For the last time, Cody's not my freaking boy toy!" Gwen shot a glare at Duncan as the two of them started walking together "But I don't wanna deal with any of that right now, so seriously just drop it."

"Fine."

"Good." there was a pause, before Gwen spoke up again "So how are things being stuck on the Hero team?"

"Meh, could be worse. Zoey's way too sunshiney for my liking, but DJ's cool, the runt is okay, same with the rest of them. Something about Mike does make my skin crawl though. But forget about that, how about Courtney, how's she doing on Team Evil?"

"She was pretty upset for a little while, but apparently Anne Maria gave her some kind of peptalk before she got eliminated, and it looks like she's doing better now. She's really serious about this whole redemption thing."

"Yep. You know at first I told her not to bother with proving herself to a bunch of (bleep), then she gave me that look and… I hate it when she does that."

"Because she always beats you with it?"

"Yeah. But seriously, I saw how much it was running her into the ground. I figured there was no way I'd be able to talk her into giving it up, mainly because I know her, so it's either let her do it on her own or make sure she doesn't burn herself out. That's why I'm here now."

"So you only came back to Total Drama to support her?"

"Short version, yeah. Call me sweet or sappy and I'll sick the giant raccon thing on you next time it shows up."

"Duly noted."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, with the other Heroes…

"Oh no!" Zoey, along with Cody and Brick came to a stop at the edge of the chasm "The bridge is out, how are we supposed to get across now?"

"Actually I think I might have an idea."

Zoey whipped around to find Mike standing before her, covered in scratch marks and a little bit of dried blood "Mike!"

"Hey, sorry to keep you waiting."

"I was worried about you, where did you go? And what happened to you?"

"Sorry about that Zoey, it started out as me going ahead to make sure that the path was clear, but then a bear chased me off. It roughed me up a little bit before I managed to get away from it, but I'm fine now."

"But with the moon turning everything crazy, wouldn't a bear be acting all sweet and cuddly right now?"

"Um… Oh yeah right, I can be an idiot sometimes. It's been a crazy night."

"That's a pretty dramatic understatement." Cody muttered, with Brick nodding in agreement in silence.

"More than you realize. Anyway like I was-"

"Hold on you guys!" this was when DJ rushed onto the scene, still carrying Dawn in his arms bridal style "Are you guys all okay?"

"Yeah we're fine, but what about you guys? What happened?"

"We got separated from the others earlier, and then we had to outrun a pack of beavers. Now I get why Geoff got so scared of them after the whole animal hunting challenge back in the first season."

"Quick note, apparently raccoons aren't any prize either." Mal cringed at the memories, only to stop when he notice the look Dawn was shooting his way "Um… something wrong Dawn?"

"No Mike, nothing at all you need to concern yourself with." Dawn turned her gaze away from him, then shared a subtle look with DJ, her voice low "I'll tell you later."

"Huh. Okay then, I guess."

"So… Anyway, we have to get across the pit." Brick got everyone back on topic "Mike, you did say you had a plan?"

"I've got an idea if nothing else, assuming it actually works, so maybe 50/50."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Confessional- Zoey)

"Okay, something obviously isn't right here." Zoey frowned in thought "Obviously Mike is lying to me. I can tell when he's lying, I recognized all the signs last season when he was trying to hide his multiple personalities from everyone. I don't get it, what's going on with him?"

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Confessional- Mal)

"For the record my lie was only partial, and for good reason." Mal's expression was deadpan to a comical extent "If I went up to you and told you that I survived an encounter with the Slender Man by chucking a raccoon with him, and then had to run like hell from an army of raccoons that turned into a discount Transformer, you'd probably think that I was higher than a kite on crack." he paused, then frowned in thought "Anyway on a more serious note, Dawn is suspicious of me. Probably that freaky aura trick of hers. I'm gonna have to be cautious around her for the time being."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Now for Mal's plan…

"I'm not really sure about this." DJ was rather uncertain as he clutched onto a rope from his place on a branch atop a tall tree, the others hanging on below "Are you really sure this is a good idea Mike?"

"To be honest, I'm only about 50/50 right now." Mal gave a shrug as he started at the object directly above him, which just so happened to be Zoey's… well let's just say that it's below the small of her back "But you're doing this for two reasons. One, it's got an amazing view."

"He's not wrong about that team." Brick took a look around at the wilderness of Wawanakwa being visible all around them "It may be… dark and unsettling to say the least… but it does look amazing up here."

"Not the view I was talking about, but sure. Two, you've got the most upper body strength out of all of us, so now it's time to put it to good use. Three. without the bridge this is the only way I can think of to get across before we lose. It's not perfect, but it's the best chance we've got, unless any of you have any other ideas?" he was met with silence "That's what I thought. Just hold on tight, don't look down and try not to think about it. Common sense is about to start screaming at you not to do this."

"Just to be clear, we're doing what exactly?" asked Zoey nervously.

"For future reference, I'm gonna call this Pulling a Tarzan. Alright big guy, move it!"

"If you say so." DJ took a breath and jumped, letting them swing across the moat, screaming in terror all the while… until they slammed face first into a tree on the other side and fell off the cliff, though DJ was able to keep a grip on the ledge with one hand and holding onto the rope with his other hand.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, with the wayward non-couple…

"Hey check it out, there's the finish line." Gwen and Duncan exited the forest and found the finish line a short distance away, with the other Villains already there, only to also hear the sound of screaming in the distance.

"10 bucks says that's where I'm gonna find my team. (Bleep). Wish me luck." Duncan shot his typical finger pistol at Gwen and took off in the direction of the moat.

"Great, back to Alejandro and the thing that's probably rabid." Gwen started to make her way towards the finish line, only to stop as a low growling noise drew her attention, and she turned to see a dear snarling at her with its teeth barred "Oh. Stay back you Bambi wannabe, I'm warning you!" she grabbed a nearby stick and held it out to stop the deer from biting at her, only for its teeth to rip through it easily, which prompted her to back away from it cautiously until she ended up tripping and falling to the ground, prompting her to shut her eyes and wait for the deer to pounce at her… but nothing happened, so she opened her eyes to find out why, and was met with a sight that both shocked and horrified her "Cody…"

Sure enough, Cody was the one before her, kneeling in front of the deer… with its teeth sinking into his forearm, causing him to wince in pain as he looked back at her "Hey… I kind of got carried away and went ahead of my team… Lucky thing I did though… You okay?"

"Am I- Are you kidding me?! You're the one with a deer chomping your arm!"

"I know, and it hurts… but it's worth it…" Cody winced as he, with Gwen supporting him, managed to pry the deer off of him, and he cast another look back at her "I know it kind of came out of nowhere, but I'm glad I said it… I love you Gwen… I really do…"

"I… I… get down!" Gwen threw Cody to the ground and picked up the rock just as the deer moved to pounce again… but then another pulse rippled through the island, causing the deer to break off its attack and just run away "Okay…?"

"This must be a sign, the moon curse is over!" Alejandro cast a look over at the others "Gwen you have to hurry, we all have to cross the finish line to win!"

"She knows how the stupid challenge works, they don't need Lolly-jandro to narrate every little thing." Heather rolled her eyes, earning a dirty look from Alejandro.

"You are so rude and so overbearing… and honestly I am relieved."

"You and me both." Courntey rushed over to Gwen and slung Cody's remaining arm over her shoulder, the two of them helping Cody over the finish line.

It was at this moment that Mal and the other Heroes came rushing towards the scene, but then the pulse washed over him, allowing Mike to regain control of his body "What the- Wait, how did we get here?"

"Short version, by sucking, and that's why the Villains win. Again." Chris made the call, earning a series of cheers from the Villains and groans from the Heroes.

Gwen on the other hand gave Cody over to a few of the interns to let him get treated for his injury, though she looked away to avoid meeting his gaze "I… I'm sorry…"

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

A short while passed, and the time of the elimination ceremony had come.

"So how are you feeling?" DJ cast a look over at Dawn as they and the rest of the Heroes made their way to the campfire pit for the elimination ceremony "About not being able to read auras anymore I mean."

"Actually I'm feeling much better now." Dawn gave him a serene smile "My ability to see the auras of other living creatures actually returned shortly after the curse of the moon faded, and I can see all of it so clearly again, both people and animals. I feel so much more at peace now that I can see it again."

"Great, that uh… that's good." DJ awkwardly looked away, then let out a sigh "Look Dawn you deserve to know, about what I said before… it's not that I don't care about, I do, but I-" he was cut off by her lips pressing against his cheek, causing him to sink down to his knees "So… was that just a way to get me to stop talking?"

"Far from it. I mainly did it for two reasons. One, I wanted to thank you for protecting me and standing by me tonight. Two, it was to reassure you that whatever your decision may be, I will stand by you regardless. I care for you DJ, it really is that simple."

"Well… if you're really willing to give it a try, then I am to." DJ pulled her into a tight hug and received another kiss on the cheek, then pulled himself to his feet and looked over at Cody "So what about you man, you doing okay?"

"What? Oh yeah, I guess… I mean I've had a lot worse." Cody looked down at the sling his arm was stuck in, then over at Gwen in the Peanut Gallery "But I've had better too…"

"Okay peeps, listen up." Chris directed the attention of everyone present as the Heroes sat on the stumps in front of the campfire "I think it goes without saying by now that each of you is a loser in your own right, but the Villains won the challenge tonight, and so that means they earned one more night of luxurious luxury at my Spa Hotel. Of course you know there's one other piece of business to attend to before I can let you go there."

"Yeah yeah, we know." Gwen was the first of the Villains to stand up "I'll do it. I'll take exile duty on Boney Island."

"Sure whatever, I really don't care."

"We all know that by now."

"Wait, what?" Courtney glanced over at her "Why would you volunteer for that?"

"I just… I need some time away from everybody to think about stuff. If I don't get eaten then I'll tell you about it in the mornign." so Gwen was picked up by a claw coming from helicopter courtesy of Chef, and promptly taken away.

"Okay then." Chris turned back to the Heroes "Listen up people, tonight we-"

"Hold on a second." Cody promptly stood up.

"Oh for the love of- What now?"

"I volunteer for the Flush of Shame."

"Hold on, what?" Brick and the others looked at Cody in shock "But soldier, why?"

"Let's just say… I've had enough drama for awhile and leave it there."

"Hate to break it to you, but you aren't getting away from the good stuff that easily." Chris gave a smirk "But this is still a perfect way to introduce my surprise twist. Today's eliminated Hero will be tomorrow's new Villain."

"...What?"

"Yep you got that right, instead of flushing Cody, I'm gonna be sending him over to the Villain team."

"Oh. Oh great." Cody let out a long sigh, then looked over at the others "Not really how I had planned for that to work, but… Well it's been fun guys."

"You shouldn't despair just yet." Dawn put a hand on Cody's shoulder "Gwen's feelings for you run deep, so don't give up on the love you hold for her."

"I would never, but… it does help to hear that, so thanks." Cody gave a small smile and a wave to the other Heroes, then made his way over the Peanut Gallery… and immediately came face to face with Courtney, Heather and Alejandro."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Confessional- Mal)

"Once again unexpected, but nothing I can't work with." Mal gave a shrug, then a smirk "But he is one of the smarter ones, so at least I don't risk him being onto me either. The ones I have to watch out for the most are Zoey, Dawn and Duncan. Dawn is probably already onto me with that aura reading trick of hers, Zoey knows Mike better than anyone else so she's most likely to see it if any part of my impression falls through, and Duncan… Well call it a hunch, but I think I'm going to have to keep a close eye on him too. But I doubt any of them know what they're really in for with me, because if things go the way I want them to, there's only one person that's going to come out on top, and you're looking right at him."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Confessional- Duncan)

"Seriously, something about Mike is making my skin crawl." Duncan's gaze hardened "I know I've seen him somewhere before, I just can't remember it for the life of me. Alright enough with screwing around, there's something up with him and I'm gonna find out what it is."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Now for the sign off…

"So how about it?" A/N:

Well people, now we're really getting into some drama, so the season finally gets to live up to the name of the show. Like with canon there isn't any elimination this time around, but someone does get swapped over to the Villains team. In this case, it's none other than Cody.

Aside from that, there really isn't much to say, other than I took the liberty of making a couple of references, such as a quick appearance by the Slender Man (who had a cameo in the canon episode for those of you who hadn't noticed), and a reference to a certain episode of Island. I'll give you three guesses which one.
