Danny Phantom Forever

Political Power

It was a bright and sunny day in Amity Park and all seemed pleasant and peaceful, though it wasn't very pleasant for Tucker Foley. He has just finished school and was riding in his limo on his way to City Hall to do his job as mayor. Normally he would like riding in a limo, but he knew he was in for another long exhausting day of mayoral duties. He looked out of his window and smiled as he saw Valerie flying in the air, wearing her battle suit as she searched for ghosts.

He rolled down his window and waved at her as he happily said, "Hey there Val!"

She looked down and smiled as him as she waved, "Hey Mayor Foley!"

She flew off and Tucker smiled as he watched her before remembering he had to get to work as he rode in the limo. First he had to attend an important meeting, then he had to cut a ribbon at the opening of a new mini-mall, then he had to give a speech at press conference. It was a long day and he didn't finish all of his tasks until after dinner, then he finally went home and spent the next two hours doing his homework.

After he finally finished he was visited by Danny and Sam as they walked in his room, and Sam said, "Hey Tucker. How's the youngest mayor of Amity Park?"

Tucker only groaned in exhaustion and Danny was surprised as he said, "Wow. That bad?"

Tucker stared forward as he said, "No! It's much worse! It's like trying to juggle while cooking and dancing at the same time!"

Sam was not convinced as she optimistically said, "Come on Tucker! I'm sure it can't actually be that hard."

Tucker just stared at the wall while he said, "You said the same thing when we had to take that history test last year."

Danny suddenly remembered the stress as he looked at Sam and said, "You know, he does have a point."

Tucker looked at his friends as he complained, "You guys have no idea how hard it is to be mayor. I thought it would be fun but it's so much work! It's always meetings, public appearances, and big speeches. And I still have school to go to and homework to do. I've just got so much on plate these days. I'm tempted to drop out of school so I'll have more free time but my parents would never let me go through with it."

Sam tried to be supportive as she said, "I know it's a lot of work Tuck but it's important. You're the mayor now. You have responsibilities."

Tucker stared at a wall as he tediously said, "I wish I didn't. This is just too much for me. I'm only human."

Danny held his right hand out as he suggested, "Maybe you just need to organize yourself better. Try to schedule in some free time so you can relax and have fun."

Tucker rested his head in his hands as he said, "I don't even have the energy to make a schedule! All this work just takes so much out of me. It's work, work, work every day! I just don't know what to do."

Danny put his hand around Sam as he kindly said, "Well if you ever need any help, you know you can always ask us."

Sam nodded as she agreed, "Yeah. We're here for you."

Tucker smiled at them as he said, "Thanks guys. At least you still have my back."

They hung out with him for a short while before leaving, though Tucker still did enjoy the short time the spent with them.

He walked over to his bed and laid down as he said to himself, "Well, better get some sleep. Tomorrow's Saturday. Get ready for another long day of work."

He closed his eyes, but before he could fall asleep he heard his own voice say, "What's the matter? Being mayor not all it's cracked up to be?"

He opened his eyes and sat up as he looked around and said, "Huh? What?"

He looked out his bedroom window and he saw something that made him freeze in fear and terror as his jaw dropped. Floating outside his window was none other than Tucker's monstrous evil ghost self: Tucker Phantom.

Tucker Phantom stared at Tucker with an evil grin as he said, "Hey buddy. Long time no see."

Tucker was very scared as he said, "No! Not you!"

Tucker Phantom smiled maliciously as he said, "Oh yeah! Did you miss me?"

Tucker leaned away from the window as he said, "What do you want?!"

Tucker Phantom leaned closer to the window as he deviously said, "I decided it was time for me to find myself. I want to get back together again. I want to merge with you so we can be Tucker Phantom, just like before. Don't worry, I'll let you get your beauty sleep. See you tomorrow."

He then flew off in a flash of green light as Tucker watched him leave and stared out the window with a terrified expression.

Opening theme

The title card showed an image of Danny and Valerie on opposite sides of the screen, looking forward with scared expressions. In front of them stood Tucker Phantom with his hands up and an evil smile on his face as he wore Tucker's mayor outfit. He had his fingers out and his mouth open, showing his sharp teeth as he stared up at the sky with his glowing red eyes. Behind him was City Hall with a bunch of fire all around it and chunks of rubble all over the ground.

The scene opened to a bright and sunny day as Danny walked out of his house and said, "It's a beautiful day and there's nothing that could spoil it. No parents, no school, no homework, and NO GHOSTS. Nothing could ruin today."

Just then his cellphone rang and he answered it as he said, "Hey Tuck. What? Whoa slow down! You need me to what? Now? But…"

Before he could say anything else Tucker hung up and Danny sighed in exasperation and said, "So much for that."

He went ghost and flew into the sky as his legs turned into a ghostly tail and went out to meet Tucker at City Hall.

Meanwhile at Valerie's apartment

Valerie walked out of her room and entered the kitchen to find her dad cooking as she said, "Morning dad."

Her dad smiled at her as he happily said, "Morning sweetie. Breakfast? I made scrambled eggs and bacon."

Valerie walked over and took a plate of eggs and bacon as she happily said, "Oh great! Thanks! This really hits the spot."

She took a few bites of her eggs while her dad happily said, "Yep, this is the perfect way to start the day. A hearty breakfast to get ready for a long day of hard work."

Valerie smiled at him, full of hope as she happily said, "Hard work? Do you have some big plans for today? Did they give you a promotion at the lab?"

Her dad was disappointed as he looked around the apartment and said, "No. Actually I have a lot of hard work to do here. The exterminator's coming later and I have to move a lot of our stuff so he can spray the apartment better."

Valerie looked around at their boxes and possessions that were crammed together inside their little apartment.

Valerie was disappointed as she sarcastically said, "Nice. And if the exterminator overcharges you can serve him some breakfast to get him to lower the price."

Her father smiled optimistically as he raised his finger and said, "Hey that's a great idea! Don't worry Valerie. I'm sure things will start to get better for us."

Suddenly his eggs on the frying pan caught on fire and he quickly ran away, got the fire extinguisher, came back, and put out the fire. Valerie turned around and sadly walked back to her room with her breakfast in her hand as she opened the door. She walked in and ate some of her bacon before putting her plate down on her nightstand and sitting on her bed.

She sadly looked down at the floor as she said to herself, "I just wish I knew someone who could really help us."

Suddenly her cellphone rang and she answered it with surprise as she said, "Hello? Tucker? You need me at City Hall? Okay, I'm on my way."

She stood up, narrowed her eyes, and clinched her fists as pink lights swirled around her and then her high-tech battle suit materialized over her body. She jumped in the air and sparks of electricity surged from her boots as her hoverboard materialized under her.

She was about to fly out the window when her dad yelled, "Valerie stop!"

She turned around to see him standing in her doorway as he sternly said, "Don't do it!"

She looked back at him as she apologetically said, "I have to daddy. I need to do this."

Before he could say anything else she flew out the window and headed for city hall, leaving her dad alone as he stared at the open window with a sad expression. Meanwhile Danny was flying through the sky with his fists straight out as he flew to City Hall and phased through the ceiling into a hallway outside Tucker's office.

He noticed Sam waiting outside the door and floated to her as he curiously said, "Sam? You're here too?"

Sam looked at him with a concerned expression as she replied, "Yeah. Tucker called me and told me to get over here ASAP."

Danny was surprised as he asked, "Do you know what's going on?"

She shook her head as she said, "No but Tucker sounded pretty scared so it must be serious. Let's go see what he wants."

They walked in through the door and saw Tucker sitting at his desk wearing his mayor outfit as he nervously looked around. Danny and Sam watched him before glancing at each other, clearly confused by his strange timid behavior.

They looked back at him as they started walking while Sam said, "Uh… Tucker…"

When he saw Danny and Sam he immediately looked relieved as he said, "Guys! Boy am I glad to see you!"

They walked over to him with concerned expressions as Danny said, "Are you okay Tucker? You seem really jumpy."

Tucker glanced around nervously as he explained, "Yeah, I've got a real problem right now and I need your help!"

Sam became worried as she said, "Well it must be a huge problem if you called the two of us."

Tucker held up three fingers as he corrected her, "Three of you actually."

Danny was confused as he said, "Three?"

Suddenly the windows of the office blew open as Valerie flew in on her hoverboard and floated seven feet in the air.

Tucker smiled as he held his right hand up to refer to Valerie while he said, "Yep, all three of you right here right now."

Valerie smiled smugly at him as she said, "Sorry I'm late."

Danny and Sam were both shocked as they said, "Valerie!"

She showed a friendly smile as she waved at the two of them and said, "Danny, Sam, hey."

He hoverboard dematerialized underneath her and she landed on her feet on the floor as she kept smiling at Danny and Sam.

Danny smiled as he walked up to her and said, "Hey Val, good to see you."

Sam felt uncomfortable as she said, "Yes, what a pleasant surprise."

Now that Danny and Sam were a couple Sam felt a bit awkward and uncomfortable whenever she was around Valerie. Since Valerie and Danny were briefly a couple before breaking up Sam did not like Danny being around her. However, Sam held no hard feelings against Valerie now that she knew Danny Fenton and Danny Phantom were the same person, and she was no longer hunting him. Still, being around Valerie felt awkward for Sam, though she continued to act polite toward her and tried not to show how uncomfortable she felt.

Valerie turned to Tucker with a snide smile as she pointed her thumb at Danny and Sam and said, "When you told me to come over I thought this was just some kind ploy to try and get me to go out with you, but if you invited them too it must be important."

Tucker nodded as he urgently said, "It is! I've called you all here because I'm in danger! There's a ghost that's after me!"

The three of them were shocked as they simultaneously said, "What?!"

Tucker spoke seriously as he said, "Yeah, last night a ghost came by my house and said he was going to come attack me today."

Sam quickly became concerned as she asked, "Why? What do they want from you?"

Tucker looked at the three of them as he nervously raised his hands and shrugged his shoulders as he said, "I don't know but I'd rather not find out."

Valerie narrowed her eyes as she fiercely exclaimed, "Don't worry Tucker! I won't let any ghost hurt you!"

Danny placed his hand on Valerie's shoulder as he calmly said, "Take it easy Valerie. Tucker is our friend too. We're all here to help him. We won't let any ghost hurt him. You don't have to do this alone. We'll do it together."

Valerie calmed down and smiled as she said, "Oh right. Sorry. I'm just so used to doing things on my own."

Danny smiled as he looked at Tucker and said, "No worries Tuck. We're on it. We'll find this ghost and kick his butt before your lunchbreak."

Tucker began to relax as he said, "Thanks guys. I knew I could count on you. Ever since that ghost showed up at my house last night I've been worried sick, but I can relax easily knowing you three have my back."

Sam was confused as she put her finger to her chin and said, "Wait, if he came to you last night why didn't he just attack you then when you were alone?"

Tucker raised his hands as he frantically answered, "I don't know and I don't care! All I know is he's coming to get me and I need all of your help!"

Danny raised his hands as he supportively said, "Calm down Tucker. We'll help you. We'll keep you safe."

Sam agreed as she said, "Yeah, we'll protect you from this ghost and send him back into the Ghost Zone."

Valerie pounded her fist fiercely as she said, "If that ghost comes anywhere near you I'll take him down no problem!"

Tucker felt safer as he smiled gratefully and said, "Thanks guys."

Valerie then put her hands on her hips as she curiously asked, "So who's the ghost that's after you anyway?"

Danny looked at Tucker as he curiously said, "Yeah Tuck, who is it? Technus? Ember? The Lunch Lady? Who?"

Tucker looked away as he nervously said, "Uh… I don't know. But I know it wasn't any of those guys. I didn't see him. He was invisible. All I heard was his voice."

Sam eyed Tucker suspiciously as Danny said, "Well, don't worry Tucker. We'll stop him."

Tucker smiled as he pointed at Sam, then Danny and Valerie while he said, "Great! So here's the plan. Sam, you stay here and protect me while Danny and Valerie go out and try to find that ghost and bring him down."

Sam was shocked as she exclaimed, "What?!"

Valerie smiled at Danny as she enthusiastically replied, "We're on it! Come on Danny! Let's go catch a ghost!"

She jumped in the air and her hoverboard materialized underneath her and she quickly flew out the window.

Danny put his hand up to his mouth as he shouted, "Wait up!"

Danny's legs turned into a ghostly tail again as he flew out the same window and quickly hurried to join Valerie.

Sam watched them leave with an uncomfortable expression as she said, "Today just got a whole lot more awkward."

Behind her Tucker looked down as he felt guilty about lying to his friends and keeping the truth a secret from them. However, he was still worried about his evil ghost self for him so he had to do something to stop him. He also knew that the others would find out whether he told them or not so he was worried about what might happen when they found out. Tucker felt very conflicted and scared at the moment as he stared into space with a very troubled expression.

He leaned on his desk as he softly said, "Oh man."

Sam came over and eyed him suspiciously as she said, "You okay Tucker?"

Tucker smiled nervously as he quickly said, "Uh… Yeah Sam. I'm cool, just a little tense about this ghost after me."

Sam was not convinced as she put her hand on her hip and said, "Well don't worry Mayor Foley, we'll make sure he doesn't get you."

Tucker smiled as he pulled out his PDA and said, "Thanks Sam. Hey, you want to see a new game I got on my PDA?"

Sam stared into space as she groaned in annoyance, her boyfriend was out with Valerie and she was stuck with Tucker. Later Danny and Valerie were flying over buildings together as they searched for the mysterious ghost who was after Tucker. They had seen no sign of any ghost so far but they kept flying side by side as they continued to search for anything suspicious.

As they flew Valerie looked at a small screen that rose from her left forearm and stared at it as she said, "My scanners aren't picking up anything yet. No sign of any ghost around here. Well except for you of course."

Danny smiled at Valerie and said, "I gotta say Valerie, it's nice to finally be fighting together instead of you trying to waste me."

As they kept flying Valerie smiled at Danny and said, "Yeah. Now that I know it's really you it feels nice to fight beside you."

Danny flew with his fists out as he glanced around and said, "And with Vlad gone you can do some real good now."

Valerie smiled as she stared forward and said, "Yeah, it feels good to not be doing his dirty work anymore. If I ever see him again, I'll hunt him down like the villain he is!"

Danny looked at her as he kept flying and calmly said, "Take it easy Valerie. Vlad's gone and I doubt he'll ever come back. I'm just glad we're friends now. We are friends, right?"

Valerie looked at him with a friendly smile while she said, "Of course! We're definitely friends now that I know everything. I used to blame you for everything that happened to me and my dad, but now I know that it wasn't your fault."

Danny turned and looked at her as he curiously asked, "By the way, how have you and your dad been doing lately?"

Valerie glanced around with a slightly sad expression as she replied, "We're doing okay. My dad got a raise, but it's still not enough to get us out of that little apartment. Plus he still doesn't like me ghost hunting. I love him but he thinks I can't handle myself. He thinks it's too dangerous."

Danny looked at her as he sincerely said, "It's not that he doesn't believe you can handle yourself, he just doesn't want anything bad to happen to you."

Valerie glanced at him before staring forward as she sadly said, "He just keeps worrying about me so much."

Danny glanced away in thought as he said, "Trust me I get it. I know how overprotective family can be sometimes."

As she kept flying she stared forward emotionally and said, "He just doesn't understand why I need to do this. Ever since ghosts cost us our house, I've been fighting them to make sure they don't hurt anyone else ever again."

Danny looked at her as he spoke sincerely and said, "I'm sorry. I know you've been struggling a lot since that ghost dog and I wrecked the lab."

Valerie glanced around, still a little sad before getting serious while she said, "Yeah, I've had to work really hard to help my dad get by, and I'm not gonna let anyone or anything make things any worse for him!"

Danny smiled at her as he said, "That's the spirit! Stand by your family! Trust me on that!"

Valerie looked back at Danny with a sly smile as she said, "Speaking of which, how's it going with your new little sister?"

Danny was shocked as she looked at Valerie's sly grin and he said, "Did Tucker tell you about that or did you hear it somewhere else?"

She raised her hand with a modest smile as she said, "Both. We talk, but the news is talking all about Danny Phantom's little sister and sidekick."

Danny put his hand over his face, mildly annoyed as he said, "Figures. Now that my secret is out they blab everything about me to the world."

Valerie then smiled back at Danny as she curiously asked, "So how are things with Dani and your family?"

Danny stared forward as he honestly said, "Pretty good. She's only been with us for a week but the rest of my family make it seem like she's been living with us for years. She's getting along with Jazz a lot more than I thought she would. It's kind of weird. She's a good kid but she does get herself in trouble a lot."

Valerie grinned as she spoke with a snark and said, "Sounds a lot like her older brother."

Danny was mildly annoyed as he kept flying and said, "Can we talk about something else?"

Valerie smiled deviously as she said, "Okay, how are things working out with Sam?"

Danny was shocked as he stopped flying and floated in the air as he said, "Uh…"

Valerie floated in front of him with her hands on her hips as she smiled teasingly and said, "You two lovebirds still happy together?"

Danny raised his finger, but before he could say anything his ghost sense went off as he gasped and a puff of blue air came out of his mouth.

Valerie's widened and Danny looked around and said, "The ghost! He's around here somewhere."

Valerie's suit started beeping as she urgently exclaimed, "Whoa! My scanners just picked something up!"

Danny clinched his fists as he glanced around and fiercely said, "He's definitely close by! Get ready for a fight!"

Valerie narrowed her eyes as she searched for any sign of the ghost while she said, "Where is he? Where?"

They both searched but were startled when they heard a familiar voice behind them say, "Turn around and find out."

Danny and Valerie both turned around and they were shocked at what they saw when Danny said, "Oh no! Not you again!"

Tucker Phantom was floating in front of them both with an evil smile as he said, "Yo, what's the dizzle fizzles?"

He put his hands together and created a ball of ectoplasmic energy and then threw it at Danny and Valerie.

Commercial break

Danny and Valerie quickly scattered to avoid the ball of ectoplasmic energy as it exploded between them.

Valerie flew before she stopped and hovered in place, she stared at Tucker Phantom in confusion and said, "Tucker? Is that you?"

He smiled at her evilly as he pointed at her and flexed his muscles as he said, "Yeah Val, it's me. Looking good! What do you think? Not bad huh?"

Suddenly Danny flew at him with his fists out and rammed him as he knocked Tucker Phantom away from Valerie.

Danny stopped and floated in front of her with his hands up and pointed at Tucker Phantom as he said, "Listen Valerie, I know this is really confusing right now, but that's not Tucker. That's a dangerous ghost who we need to stop. Okay?"

Valerie narrowed her eyes as she nodded and they both flew at Tucker Phantom as he floated in the air and glared daggers at them. Danny fired a ghost ray from his right hand while Valerie activated her left wrist cannon and fired a purple ray from it. Tucker Phantom swiftly avoided both shots as he flew at them and grabbed Danny in his hands and then threw him down to the street while Valerie watched.

She flew behind Tucker Phantom and angrily said, "Hey tough guy, think fast!"

She immediately reached into her red pack on her back and pulled out three razor-sharp discs and threw them at him. Tucker Phantom smiled evilly as they came at him one by one, he turned intangible and let the first two pass through him, but then he turned solid and caught the third disc and crushed it in his hand.

Valerie gasped in shock and fear as he gloated, "Sorry Val, but Tucker Phantom doesn't go down so easily."

Valerie was confused as she said, "Tucker Phantom?"

She became frightened as he floated up to her and stared her in the face with an evil smile as he said, "Yeah, sounds good, doesn't it? A lot better than 'Foley' don't you think?"

Valerie was nervous before she narrowed her eyes and courageously said, "I… I don't know who you are but you're NO Mayor Foley!"

He smiled evilly as he replied, "Not YET I'm not."

Valerie quickly held out her right fist and a small ray emerged from the back of her glove and fired a purple beam at him. Tucker Phantom did not even flinch as he grinned evilly and floated in place, then he swung his left arm to the side and easily deflected the beam.

Valerie was shocked, then Tucker Phantom said, "If you think that's cool then this will really blow you away!"

He took a deep breath and then used his ghost breath as he blew a bunch of green air out of his mouth and at Valerie, sending her flying away as she screamed. Tucker Phantom grinned victoriously when Danny flew at him from behind and kicked him, sending him flying upward before he stopped and floated in place.

Tucker Phantom glared down at Danny and cracked his knuckles while he bitterly said, "Oh right, you Danny. The big hero. I've been waiting for this."

Danny bravely flew toward him as he shouted, "I beat you once and I can do it again!"

He tried to punch him but Tucker Phantom grabbed his fist and held him in place as he smiled and said, "Do you really think?"

He then punched Danny in the face and sent him crashing to the ground; Danny groaned as he opened his eyes to see Tucker Phantom flying down toward him with his feet out. Danny quickly rolled out of the way as Tucker Phantom planted his feet on the ground, cracking the pavement before Danny got back up.

Tucker Phantom leered at Danny as he said, "I've gotten a lot more powerful since the last time we fought."

He fired two ghost rays from his eyes but Danny dodged them and his eyes glowed blue as he said, "Yeah? Well so have I!"

He fired his ice rays at him and froze Tucker Phantom in a large chunk of ice, then Danny smiled victoriously as he put his hands on his sides. His smile vanished as he noticed the ice begin to crack, and after a few moments the ice shattered as Tucker Phantom broke free.

Danny was shocked as Tucker Phantom smirked evilly and gloated, "Sorry Danny, but it takes more than the cold shoulder to get rid of me."

Danny quickly held his left hand out and fired ghost ray at him but Tucker Phantom formed a forcefield around him that blocked it. He dropped it and then raised both his fists over his head and slammed them on the ground, creating a massive tremor that knocked Danny off his feet. Tucker Phantom came at him and tried to grab him but Danny took flight and soared up into the air while the evil ghost version of his best friend chased him. He grabbed Danny and held him in his hands as he stared him in the face, but Danny kicked him in the chest and forced him off of him. Tucker Phantom got angry as he glared at Danny while his hands started glowing green and he used telekinesis to lift large chunks of concrete out of the ground and launched them at Danny. Danny narrowly avoided all the chunks of concrete before flying at him, but Tucker Phantom used his great strength to perform a sonic clap.

He clapped his hands together and the sonic boom knocked Danny out of the air and sent him crashing on a rooftop. Danny groaned as he tried to get up while Tucker Phantom flew over him and prepared to slam his left fist on him with an evil smile. Suddenly he was hit from behind by a few red and black missiles and he let out a cry of pain before he turned around. He saw Valerie flying toward him with an angry expression as she had two missile launchers in the sides of her hoverboard. She launched several missiles at Tucker Phantom, and they exploded against him and forced him away from Danny as he got up. He joined Valerie and they both stared at Tucker Phantom as he raised his arms to shield his face from the last missile.

He lowered his arms and leered at Danny and Valerie as he said, "Not bad. You two win this round but I'll be back."

He turned around and flew off in the blink of an eye leaving a green flash of light behind him as he vanished.

Valerie was shocked as she said, "Whoa! Did you see that?! He… What's going on?"

Danny took her hand as he urgently said, "I'll tell you later. Right now we need to get back to Tucker."

She nodded and they both quickly flew back to City Hall; Tucker and Sam were sitting in his office when Danny and Valerie walked in through the door.

Sam walked up to them as she curiously said, "Well? Did you find him?"

Valerie was worried as she looked at Sam, pointed her thumb back, then pointed at Tucker while saying, "Yeah. We saw the ghost and drove him off, but he said he'd be back. He was really tough and really spooky, and he looked a lot like you Tucker."

Sam was shocked as she looked at Tucker and said, "What?!"

Danny walked over to the desk and put his hands on it as he glared at Tucker and said, "Why didn't you tell us he was back?!"

Tucker looked at Danny and Sam glaring at him and noticed how concerned Valerie looked as she stared at him.

Tucker sighed and showed a guilty expression as he said, "I'm sorry guys. I know I should've told you it was my evil ghost self who was after me. I was afraid how you guys would react, so I didn't want you to know yet."

Sam put her hand on her chest as she said, "Tucker we're your friends. We're here to help you. But we can't do that if you don't trust us."

Danny agreed as he honestly said, "Yeah Tuck, I want help you but you should've told us sooner."

Valerie was confused as she spoke up and said, "Uh… Could someone please tell me what's going on? Who is that ghost? Why does he look and sound so much like Tucker?"

Danny, Tucker, and Sam glanced at each other before looking at her as Tucker said, "It's a long story Val but here's the truth."

The three of them spent the next hour telling Valerie about the first time they encountered Desiree and how she gave Tucker ghost powers. They told her how those powers ended up changing Tucker as he became "Tucker Phantom" until Danny used the Fenton Ghost Catcher to separate them.

They finished telling her the story when Danny said, "And then I sucked him into the Fenton Thermos and sent him into the Ghost Zone."

Valerie was shocked as she pointed at Tucker while pointing her thumb back while she said, "So… You're telling me that ghost is YOU?!"

Tucker sadly nodded as he said, "Yep. Sorry I didn't tell you Val, it's just something I'd like to forget."

Danny seriously pointed at Tucker as he said, "He is NOT you Tucker! Not anymore!"

Tucker looked at him as he put his hands out and then put them on his chest as he urgently said, "Well he's back and he wants to merge with me again!"

Valerie gasped in horror while Danny narrowed his eyes and said, "Don't worry Tucker! That is never going to happen!"

Sam agreed as she pointed her thumb at Danny then pointed her finger at Valerie as she said, "That's right! I've got a plan! Danny I will go outside and keep an eye out for the evil ghost Tucker. Valerie, you stay in here and guard Tucker. If his evil ghost self comes in here call us."

She nodded as she said, "Okay got it!"

Danny took Sam's hand and phased them both through the wall while Valerie stayed in the office with Tucker.

Suddenly Valerie's cellphone rang as she answered it and smiled nervously as she said, "Hello? Daddy hi. I'm okay, I'm with Tucker. Yes Mayor Foley."

Over the phone her dad said something and she nervously said, "He called mee, Danny, and Sam over here to protect him from some ghost who wants to merge with him."

She held the phone back as her dad spoke loudly and then she glanced at Tucker while she urgently said, "No dad! I can't leave them now! Tucker's in danger, he needs my help! No, Danny can't do it himself! This ghost is really strong and dangerous! I have to help them! They need me!"

She then looked sad as her dad said some more things over the phone and she said, "Yeah. Okay. Thanks. I'll be careful. I love you too."

She hung up and put her cellphone away before letting out a sad sigh, and Tucker asked, "You okay Val?"

She faced him before looking down at the floor as she sadly said, "I'm fine I just feel bad for making my dad worry so much. Ever since we lost our house and moved into our crummy apartment I've been doing a lot to help us get back on our feet. I've worked several jobs and between them and ghost fighting I've hardly had any free time."

Tucker empathized as he sadly looked down and said, "I know how you feel Val. Ever since I became mayor I've been working nonstop. I keep having to go to meetings, conferences, and other stuff, and with school and homework I never have any time for fun stuff."

Valerie looked at him as she understood how he felt and said, "Yeah, and now you can't enjoy your free time with that evil ghost version of yourself trying to get you."

Tucker looked at her with a stressed expression as he said, "I know! I can't go anywhere or do anything until he's gone! All I can do is sit here and wait for him to come and get me. If only I could do more."

Valerie showed sympathy as she curiously asked, "Is that why you wished for ghost powers in the first place?"

Tucker was shocked as he looked away with a guilty expression and said, "No. Actually I made that wish because I was jealous of him. When I got them I was having a lot of fun but it started to change me and I was doing some bad things. I was turning into a monster. I don't want to make the same mistake again."

Valerie smiled comfortingly as she said, "Don't worry Tucker. You're not bad. You're a great guy, and you're a good mayor."

Tucker was shocked as he said, "Really? You think?"

She smiled and nodded before she sadly looked out the window as she said, "Yeah. You're great. I just wish I could do something great to help my dad."

Tucker thought for a moment and smiled as he said, "I might be able to help you with that."

Valerie looked at him and smiled at his kind gesture, suddenly two satellite dishes came out of the sides of her pack, startling them both.

Valerie quickly became worried as she said, "Oh no! Here? Now?"

They looked around and suddenly a swirling green light appeared in the air as Tucker Phantom teleported into the office.

He had a sinister smile as he looked down at them and said, "I finally found myself."

Tucker hurried over to Valerie while she pulled out her cellphone, called Sam, and exclaimed, "Guys! He's here! He's here!"

Not long after, Danny and Sam rushed in and they stood in front of Tucker and Valerie as they glared at Tucker Phantom.

Tucker Phantom leered at them all as he happily said, "Great! Everyone's here! Let's get the party started!"

Valerie angrily pointed at him as she exclaimed, "You're under arrest for threatening the mayor of Amity Park!"

Tucker Phantom smirked evilly as he landed behind Tucker's desk and put his hands up as he said, "You're looking at the mayor of Amity Park."

Before anyone could do anything, Sam pointed at Tucker Phantom and said, "If you wanted to merge with Tucker why didn't you just do it when you came to his house last night?"

Tucker Phantom showed an amused smile as he put his hands up then pointed at them while he said, "Ha! Where's the fun in that? I knew he'd call you all for help and that you'd try to protect him from me. Kicking all of your butts will make merging back together so much more fun!"

Danny clinched his fists as he fiercely shouted, "I don't think so!"

He immediately flew at Tucker Phantom and punched him in the face four times, but then Tucker Phantom grabbed him and slammed him down into the desk, breaking it in two. Danny groaned as Tucker Phantom lifted him up and threw him against the wall before turning to the others. Valerie's hands glowed with purple energy as she ran at Tucker Phantom and punched him three times, but blasted her with ghost rays from his eyes and knocked her back into a wall. Sam yelled in fury as she ran at Tucker Phantom, but he looked bored as he swung his left hand out and swatted her away like a fly.

Tucker stared in fear as his evil ghost self marched toward him and Danny shouted, "Tucker! Run!"

Tucker turned and ran but Tucker Phantom smiled evilly as he held his hand up and said, "Don't leave yet."

His hand glowed green as he used his telekinesis to shut the doors, preventing Tucker from leaving as he turned back around. He stared in horror as his evil ghost self turned intangible and flew into Tucker's body as he screamed in terror and turned around.

The others regrouped and were all shocked and frightened as Danny yelled, "NO!"

Valerie was devastated as she screamed, "Tucker!"

He struggled a bit after Tucker Phantom entered his body, but then he stopped and just stared into space for a moment. He turned around and shot the three of them a death glare as he snarled and showed them his face. He now had the first form he had when he originally became Tucker Phantom. His skin was green and spotted, he had sharp teeth and claws, his ears were pointed, his eyes were red, and his body was surrounded by a green aura, but he was still wearing his mayor outfit.

The three of them were worried as Danny held his hands out and calmly said, "Take it easy Tucker. Everything's okay. We can help you."

Tucker glared daggers at them all as he furiously said, "Everything's okay as long as you all get what you want! Danny Phantom, the hero who saved the world, and his little girlfriend Sam! And Valerie, the ghost hunter who was too cool for a techno geek like me! Well I'm in charge now, I make the rules, and I say you're all in for some real power!"

He flew at them and attacked them, he beat them all up a bit before throwing them out of City Hall and into the street.

Tucker phased out of the building and landed in front of them as he furiously said, "This is my city now! And I want all three of you out of it!"

They looked up at him as he created a large ball of ecto-energy with both hands and they scattered before he threw it down toward them.

He glared daggers at them while Valerie stared at him nervously before looking at the others while she said, "We all came to protect Tucker and now we have to fight him?!"

Sam stared at Tucker as she admitted, "It is ironic."

Danny showed a serious expression as he said, "I know how to fix him. You two keep him busy! I'll be right back!"

He flew off and Sam nervously said, "Keep him busy?!"

Tucker glared daggers at them and Sam slowly approached him with her hands up as she smiled and said, "Tucker, I know you're mad right now. But how about we just talk this out?"

Tucker put his left hand out as he fired a ghost ray at her and she quickly dodged it and started running. Valerie stood her ground as two cannons came out of the pack on her back and she rapidly fired purple blasts at Tucker, but he flew up and dodged them. He flew at her and punched her in the face, sending her sliding across the ground.

Tucker glared daggers at her as he angrily said, "Am I good enough for you now, or am I still just a loser?"

Sam cam at Tucker from behind and grabbed him, but he grabbed her by her arm and threw her away. Valerie blasted Tucker with her right wrist cannon and then he shot a beam of ecto-energy at her from his right hand. She quickly blocked it as a blue forcefield formed around her, then she dropped it and blasted at him again, sending him crashing through a wall.

Sam joined Valerie and gratefully said, "Thanks."

Danny flew down and joined them as he brought the Fenton Ghost Catcher and said, "I'm back! This should get Tucker back to normal."

Sam was perplexed as she said, "The Fenton Ghost Catcher?"

Danny smiled as he confidently said, "It worked last time and it will work now. My parents also made some modifications to it, so this time when we separate Tucker from his evil ghost form it will be for good!"

He carried the Ghost Catcher in his arms as he flew toward Tucker, but Tucker saw him coming and took a deep breath. He let out a loud beastly roar that send glowing rings of sound from his mouth, similar to Danny's ghostly wail but now nearly as powerful. However his roar was still powerful enough to knock Danny out of the air and send him tumbling on the ground as he dropped the Ghost Catcher.

He stared up at the sky as he complained, "Oh great. Now he's got his own little ghostly wail too. Just what I need"

Tucker landed and glared at him as he clinched his fists and yelled, "Not exactly the big hero anymore, are you?"

He got up and took flight as he flew at Tucker, then Valerie jumped up and materialized her hoverboard as she flew after him. Danny rapidly fired blasts of ecto-energy from both his hands as he flew at Tucker while Valerie fired the ghost stinger on her hoverboard. Tucker dodged both as he flew at Danny as fast as he could and punched him with all his might, sending him crashing into Valerie and then Sam. The three of them laid on the ground and groaned as Valerie looked up and saw Tucker standing over them as he prepared to slash his claws at them.

Valerie got on her knees as she desperately pleaded, "Tucker wait! I know you're in there! I know I used to be mean to you, I know you're feeling a lot of rage right now, and I know it feels good to have all that power, but I also know that this isn't you. You can still do the right thing and stop now."

Tucker was shocked by her sincerity as his expression softened and she said, "You told me you didn't want to be a monster, that you didn't want to do bad things, and that you didn't want to make the same mistake twice."

Tucker narrowed his eyes as he turned and said, "And I won't!"

He then quickly flew toward the Ghost Catcher as fast as he could while Danny and Sam came to and watched. He passed through the Ghost Catcher when he emerged Tucker was separated from Tucker Phantom permanently.

Tucker landed on the ground and sat up, smiling as he happily said, "I… I did it!"

He looked up and was frightened as he saw Tucker Phantom floating above him, glaring down at him furiously.

Tucker Phantom furiously said, "We could've had it all but you threw it away! Well there can be only one Tucker, and if you won't join me then I'll destroy you!"

Suddenly Valerie flew over Tucker on her hoverboard and fearlessly said, "I won't let anyone hurt him! Especially you!"

She activated both of her wrist cannons and fired them at Tucker Phantom at the same time, blasting him away from Tucker. He got up and growled angrily before Danny landed in front of him, he took a deep breath and then let out his ghostly wail, forcing Tucker Phantom back through the air and crashing into a wall. Danny kept using the ghostly wail for another minute while Tucker Phantom cried in pain, and when Danny stopped Tucker Phantom fell to the ground. He growled as he looked up at them, but then Sam came and sucked him into a Fenton Thermos before he could attack again.

She put the lid on the Thermos and joined the others as Tucker gratefully said, "Thanks guys."

Valerie smiled as she pointed at Tucker and said, "No, thank you. You saved us Tucker."

Danny smiled in agreement as he said, "She's right Tuck. You beat Tucker Phantom. Not us."

Sam smiled proudly as she said, "I have to admit, it was great how you managed to overcome him and cleansed him for good."

Tucker was flattered as he happily said, "Thanks guys, but I couldn't have done it without you."

He spread his arms out and pulled the three of them close for a group hug, Danny smiled while Sam looked uncomfortable and Valerie smiled awkwardly.

They separated and Valerie materialized her hoverboard while she said, "Well, this has been fun but I'd better get home before dad worries too much. Bye guys."

She flew off while the others waved to her and Tucker smiled as he thought of a great idea for Valerie. The next morning, after Valerie got up and got dressed she walked over to her bedroom door to find a note from her father, telling her to meet him at a certain address. Valerie was confused but did as it said, so she got on a bus and road it to the address her dad gave her. She got off the bus and walked to a house in a nice neighborhood; the house was fairly big, two stories tall, and it had a nice yard with a tree in it.

She saw her dad staring at the house as she walked up to him and said, "Dad? What's going on?"

He turned around and smiled at her as he put his arms up and said, "Valerie, welcome home!"

Valerie was confused as she said, "What?"

She looked around and noticed a sign on the lawn that said "Sold" then she looked at her dad as he said, "This is our new house."

Valerie was amazed as she said, "But… But how?"

He moved his right hand to refer to Danny, Tucker, and Sam as he said, "Let's just say we had a little help from your friends."

She looked at them and happily said, "You guys did this?"

Danny smiled as he pointed his left thumb at Tucker and said, "Well, it was mostly Tucker, but yeah."

Tucker smiled proudly as he said, "I pulled some strings as mayor and managed to grant your dad a small amount of money and purchase this house for you guys. Sorry I couldn't get you your old house back but it's already occupied and I thought this would be the next best thing."

Valerie put her hands together as she happily said, "This is great! Thank you Tuck! Thank you so much!"

Her father joined them and smiled at Valerie as he proudly said, "It looks like all your hard work paid off Valerie, and your ghost hunting life really helped us out."

Tucker smiled as he said, "Yeah, I figured it's the least I could do for the girl who saved me from myself."

Valerie looked back at her dad as he proudly said, "And it looks like you've got good friends who care about you and have your back."

Valerie smiled as she looked at them and said, "Yeah I do."

She walked over to Tucker and gratefully said, "Thanks Tuck. This really means a lot to me."

Tucker smiled as he pulled out his PDA and looked at it while he said, "Yeah, and I've decided I'm going to make time for my friends and other important things, like this. I'm starting to schedule my time more efficiently and push back things that can wait a day or so. Now I can do my job as mayor and still have fun with my friends."

Valerie smiled at him deviously as she said, "That's great. Now you have time for this."

She grabbed him and pulled him close as she kissed him on the lips, Tucker's eyes widened in shock as he melted in the kiss. Valerie's dad watched and he nodded with approval while Danny looked a bit shocked and uncomfortable.

Sam folded her eyes with a smile as she happily said, "And now they both finally have someone special."

Valerie stopped kissing Tucker and pulled away while he looked at her with a goofy smile and blushed red.

The End

Author's note: Tucker and Valerie are finally a couple. Some of you might not ship them but I do, I think they're a perfect match. I thought it would be nice to have her and her dad finally move out of that apartment, something Vlad said he would do but never did. I also thought it would be great to bring back Tucker Phantom. We won't see him again until the finale. The next chapter will focus more on Danny and his family, and we'll see more of Danielle. For now enjoy the episodes I have so far. Please review.
