4. Bad Boy Ballad

Danny Phantom Forever

In this chapter I'll make some references to the episodes "Bitter Reunions" and "Million Dollar Ghost". This chapter will feature a nice subplot where Danielle will learn a valuable lesson and we'll see her make some mistakes similar to ones Danny made.

Bad Boy Ballad

It was nighttime in Amity Park and Danny was busy fighting a couple of ghosts as he floated in the air with a determined expression. He fired a ghost ray from his left hand and hit Klemper as he knocked him out of the air and onto a rooftop. Klemper got back up and took a deep breath before blowing a bunch of his icy breath at Danny, but Danny's eyes glowed blue before he shot two ice rays from his hands. His rays countered Klemper's breath and they made a bunch of snow that fell on the rooftop and on Klemper.

Klemper looked sad as he whined, "Won't you please be my friend!"

Danny glared at him as he said, "Sorry Klemper, but I'm gonna have to give you the cold shoulder."

He fired another ice ray and froze Klemper in place, then the Box Ghost appeared behind Danny and said, "Beware!"

Before he could do anything Danielle flew and punched the Box Ghost away from Danny and said, "Return to sender!"

She flew at him again and started punching and kicking the Box Ghost repeatedly before sending him crashing down on a rooftop.

She smiled as she looked down at him, then Danny floated next to her and seriously said, "Dani! What are you doing here? You should be home! You're past your nine-o-clock curfew."

Danielle smiled happily as she said, "I know but I'd much rather be out here to kick some butt."

Danny remained serious as he pointed his thumb back and said, "I can handle these guys myself, you need to get home before mom and dad catch you."

She was arrogant as she calmly said, "Don't worry. What mom and dad don't know won't hurt them."

She flew off while Danny looked down to see Klemper break free from his ice while the Box Ghost got up and floated in the air. Danny flew at them with his fists out, meanwhile Danielle flew home and turned intangible as she phased into her bedroom and changed to her human form.

She happily walked over to her bedroom door and opened it while she said, "Danny worries too much. Mom and dad won't catch me. I've got ghost powers and-"

She stopped as she opened her door to see Jack and Maddie sternly glaring down at her with their arms folded. Realizing she'd just been caught she smiled nervously as she waved her hand at them as they kept glaring at her.

Jack sternly glared at her as he said, "You're late again young lady."

Meanwhile Danny had just defeated the Box Ghost and Klemper as he threw them both down onto a rooftop, then he sucked them both into the Fenton Thermos.

He put the lid on the Thermos and smiled as he said, "Well that was easy. Now I should get home before I miss my curfew."

Suddenly Danny gasped as his ghost sense went off and looked around annoyed as he said, "Oh great! Now what?"

He turned around only to be punched in the face and sent crashing down onto a rooftop as he groaned in pain. He sat up and looked to see Johnny 13's shadow floating above in the air, glaring daggers down at him.

Danny glared back at him as he said, "It's that stupid bad luck shadow! And if you're here then that means Johnny 13 must be close by. No problem, I'll kick your butt, then his."

He floated up and fired a ghost ray from his right hand but the shadow dodged it as he looped through the air and then flew at Danny. He slashed his claws at him but Danny dodged them and then grabbed the shadow by his tail and threw him away. As the shadow flew through the air Danny blasted him with another ghost ray and the shadow screamed in agony. Danny was about to blast it again when suddenly he heard some kind of music nearby, then he was suddenly hit by something and knocked onto another rooftop.

He blacked out and when he opened his eyes groaned as he felt his head and said, "Ugh, my head."

He looked around and saw that the shadow was gone as he said, "Wait! Where'd he go? Great! He got away! Oh well, I'll find him later."

He took flight and headed home, unaware that Johnny 13 was sitting on his motorcycle on a rooftop with his shadow floating behind him.

They both watched Danny fly away with sinister grins on their faces as Johnny said, "See you around punk. You're not spoiling my fun this time."

Opening theme

The title card was displayed, showing a picture of Danny with Ember with scared expressions as they were attacked by the shadow with Johnny 13 behind it as he held Ember's guitar. The scene then opened to show Danny flying to his house and phasing inside before turning human and walking through the hall. He stopped when he saw Jazz standing in a doorway, staring into the living room with a concerned expression.

Danny walked up to her and said, "Jazz what's going on?"

She pointed her finger and Danny saw Danielle sitting on the couch while their parents looked down at her and lectured her. Danny immediately understood what was going on as he looked at Danielle with a bit of sympathy.

Jack and Maddie looked down at Danielle as Maddie sternly said, "Danielle, you're starting to become a problem. You keep breaking your curfew."

Jack spoke up as he said, "You're not doing your chores."

Maddie put her arms out as she said, "You don't listen to us."

Jack then repeated, "You're not doing your chores."

Danielle raised her finger as she stated, "You already said that."

Jack pointed his finger at her before pointing his thumb at himself while he said, "I know but when you don't do them the rest of us have to do them."

Maddie then pointed at Danielle as she said, "AND you're getting in trouble at school."

Danielle put her palms up as she said, "I've only been going to school for a week."

Maddie had her arms folded as she replied, "Yes and your teachers have already started complaining about you. They say that you've been disrupting class with your ghost powers."

Danielle smiled innocently as she held up her left palm and said, "I'm not hurting anyone. I'm just trying to have a little fun. The other kids really like it."

Maddie put her hands on her hips as she sternly said, "It doesn't matter if they like it, you need to follow the rules, at home and at school."

Danielle looked down in disappointment as she said, "I wish there weren't so many rules I needed to follow."

Jazz walked in and looked at her parents while holding her right hand toward Danielle as she said, "The reason Danielle doesn't obey the rules is because she doesn't realize the importance of them. She lived by herself on the street for months before she moved in with us, and she's only been here for two weeks."

Danny joined her as he said, "Yeah, and Vlad never taught her about being responsible so she doesn't get why she has to do chores."

Jack and Maddie thought about what they said as Maddie looked at Danielle and said, "Hmmm, well then I suppose it's time that she learns some responsibility. Danielle, tomorrow we've got a long list of chores for you to do, and no TV or allowance until you've finished them all."

Danielle was shocked as she whined, "What?! But…"

Jack put his fists on his side as he sternly said, "No buts missy!"

Maddie looked down at Danielle as she firmly said, "Tomorrow after breakfast your father and I will give you your chores to do and you are going to do all of them."

They both turned and walked out of the room, leaving Danielle alone with her two siblings as they looked at her with sympathy.

Danielle looked back at them as she complained, "Thanks a lot guys! Now mom and dad will never let me have any fun."

Jazz spoke honestly and said, "Actually I think this might be good for you."

Danielle was shocked as she said, "What?"

Jazz held her left palm up as she explained, "You do need to do a better job at following the rules. And you do need to start being more responsible."

Danielle put her hands up before punching the air as she said, "What are you talking about? I help Danny kick ghost butt all the time!"

Jazz pointed her right finger at Danielle while she explained, "Yes but you need to help out more around the house. Being part of a family means more than just living together. We have to look out for each other and work together to make sure that no one gets left behind. You have to pull your own weight and help out with the chores."

Danny looked at Danielle as he put his hands on his chest and then raised them over his head as he said, "She's right Danielle. Trust me. The last time I didn't do my chores I ended up putting our whole family in danger!"

Danielle was confused as she asked, "How?"

Danny dismissed her question as he put his left hand up then spoke honestly as he said, "Long story. The point is you need to listen to mom and dad more and do your chores."

Danielle tried to protest as she said, "But guys…"

Jazz looked at Danielle with sympathy as she said, "I'm sorry Danielle but you need to learn a lesson."

She and Danny turned and walked out of the room as they headed upstairs, leaving Danielle alone as she sighed in exasperation before walking away. The next morning Danny went outside to find Tucker and Sam standing by his stoop, waiting for him to arrive.

He smiled down at them as he held up his left hand and said, "Hey guys."

They both smiled as Danny walked down the steps while Tucker happily said, "Hey buddy. How's it going?"

The three of them started walking down the sidewalk as Danny happily said, "Oh pretty good. Last night I beat the Box Ghost and Klemper and sent them both back into the Ghost Zone."

Sam smiled at Danny as she happily said, "Oh yeah! That's how you do it!"

Danny smiled before showing disappointment as he said, "Yeah, then I was attacked by that stupid bad luck shadow. I almost had him but then something hit me and knocked me down, by the time I got back up he was gone."

Tucker was surprised as he said, "Man, that stinks."

Danny glanced back and forth at him and Sam while he said, "It must've been Johnny, he hit me from behind and took off with his shadow."

Sam looked at Danny as she curiously said, "So Johnny's somewhere in Amity Park?"

Danny looked at her before shrugging his shoulders and then pounded his fist and narrowed his eyes as he said, "Seems that way. Oh well. If you see him I'll kick his butt back into the Ghost Zone just like all the other times."

They all stopped in their tracks as they heard a familiar voice behind them say, "Don't be so sure dipstick!"

The three of them turned around and were shocked to see Ember standing on the sidewalk with her arms folded as she glared daggers at them.

Danny was shocked as he exclaimed, "Ember!"

He immediately narrowed his eyes and clinched his fists as he changed to his ghost form and prepared to fight.

However, before he could do anything Ember pointed at him said, "Take it easy losers! I didn't come here to fight your sorry butt! I need your help!"

The three of them were shocked as Tucker said, "What?"

Danny was confused as he said, "You need MY help?"

Sam eyed Ember suspiciously as she said, "That's a first."

Ember glared at the three of them as she said, "What? You expect me to beg?"

Danny lowered his arms as he suspiciously asked, "What kind of help?"

Ember pointed her thumb at herself as she said, "That punk Johnny stole my guitar. I'm not nearly as powerful without it, so I want you to help me get it back."

Sam then curiously asked, "What does Johnny want with your guitar?"

Ember folded her arms as she angrily looked to the side and replied, "I don't know. He and his stupid shadow attacked me in the Ghost Zone and took it from me. I followed them here to Amity Park but then he used my guitar against me."

Danny glared at Ember as he said, "Why should we care?"

Ember leaned closer as she replied, "Because that idiot has no idea how to control the power of my guitar! If he tries to use it he could end up causing way more trouble than I could!"

Danny, Tucker, and Sam glanced each other with concern then they looked at Ember as Danny said, "Okay, we'll help you. But you'd better not be trying to trick us."

Ember smiled deviously as she said, "Excellent. Now come on. Follow me."

She took flight and soared off into the sky as Danny took Tucker and Sam and flew after her as they planned to search for Johnny 13. Meanwhile at Fenton Works, Danielle had just entered her bedroom with her parents behind her as they looked around at the mess. The floor of her room was littered with dirty clothes, crumpled up paper balls, toys, comic books, and empty soda cans.

Danielle looked around as Maddie sternly said, "Alright Danielle, your first chore for today is cleaning up your room."

Danielle looked up at her parents as she said, "But I don't see why I have to. It's my room. Shouldn't I keep it the way I like it?"

Maddie looked at her sternly as she took a few steps closer while saying, "This may be your room but you need to be more considerate for other people when they come inside."

She let out a small cry as she tripped and fell down while Danielle watched her and cringed as she saw Maddie hit the floor.

Maddie got up and glared at Danielle, who nervously said, "Sorry."

Maddie pointed her finger at Danielle as she said, "You are going to clean this room from top to bottom young lady!"

Danielle had her hands behind her back as she nervously said, "Yes mam."

She looked at Jack as he pulled out a piece of paper and said, "And when you're done cleaning up in here you can move on to the rest of your chores."

He handed Danielle a list of chores and she complained, "Aww! This is gonna take all day!"

Jack sternly pointed his finger at Danielle and scowled her as he said, "You wouldn't have to do all of these chores if you did them yesterday. I told you ten times."

Maddie glared down at Danielle as she said, "And your father and I are going to take turns watching you to make sure you finish all of them."

Jack smiled as he nodded and walked away as he said, "That's right! See you in an hour."

Maddie let out a weary sigh before looking at Danielle as she said, "The sooner you start the sooner you finish."

Danielle sighed in exasperation as she put the list in her pocket and said, "Okay."

She started getting to work on cleaning her room while Maddie folded her arms and watched her work. A few hours later, Danny was still following Ember through the sky as he carried Sam and Tucker with him, and the three of them kept staring at Ember suspiciously.

As they flew after her Danny glared and said, "I still don't trust her."

Tucker looked at Danny with a suspicious expression as he said, "Yeah dude. I think she's just trying to trick us."

Sam looked at Danny and Tucker with concern as she said, "But what if she's telling the truth? What if Johnny really does have her guitar and is up to something with it?"

They looked at her with surprised expressions as Tucker said, "You mean you believe her?"

Sam briefly glared at Ember before looking back at Tucker and Danny as she solemnly said, "I don't trust her anymore than you guys, but I don't think we can take the chance. If Johnny really has her guitar then we have to stop him before he causes some trouble."

Danny stopped and floated in the air as Ember floated and glared at them before pointing her finger as she said, "If you three twirps are done talking behind my back, I know where my guitar is. It's over there!"

They glanced at a rooftop, but saw nothing, and Danny suspiciously said, "How do you know?"

Ember smiled proudly as she placed her right hand to her ear and said, "I've got an ear for music, and I'd know the beats of my guitar anywhere. Now come on!"

She took off toward the rooftop, Danny and his friends hesitated with suspicious expressions before they flew after her. On the rooftop, Johnny was sitting on his motorcycle strumming Ember's guitar to a certain tune.

He stopped and smiled proudly as he said to himself, "Oh yeah. That's right. I am one smooth grooving rockstar."

He was startled when he heard Ember shout, "You need a lot more practice!"

Ember flew down and landed on the other side of the rooftop while Danny floated down and put Tucker and Sam down while he floated in the air.

Johnny nervously stared back at them all as he said, "Oh crud!"

Danny glared at Johnny and glanced at Ember with a surprised expression as he said, "I guess you were telling the truth after all."

Ember glanced at Danny before glaring daggers at Johnny as she said, "Yeah. Now that we got that out of the way, give me my guitar!"

Johnny glared at all of them as he stood up and held his hand out as he said, "No way baby! Shadow attack!"

Johnny's shadow rose out of the rooftop and growled as it flew toward the four of them with its arms out. The four of them scattered as the shadow flew at them and started slashing its claws at them, then it turned and flew toward Danny. The shadow slashed its claws at Danny but he ducked and then punched it in the face, knocking it up into the air. The shadow recovered and floated as it snarled and glared daggers at Danny before flying at him again as Danny raised his fists. But before Danny could do anything Ember flew at the shadow and kicked it with her left leg and sent it crashing down to the rooftop.

Danny was surprised as he looked at Ember and said, "You're helping me?"

Ember glared at him as she said, "Don't get all mushy with me! I'm just doing what I need to get my guitar back!"

Sam and Tucker both watched in awe as Danny and Ember worked together and fought Johnny 13's shadow. Danny punched the shadow hard in the face, then Ember used her blue fire hair to burn it as it screamed in pain, then Danny blasted it with a ghost ray. They both knocked it down to the rooftop in front of Johnny 13 and it lied on the ground as it groaned in pain.

Johnny glared at Danny and Ember as they stared at him and Ember demanded, "Okay 13, give me back my guitar!"

Johnny stared at them defiantly as he said, "No way losers!"

He then started playing the guitar and used its power to attack them; he played some loud rock music and sent out soundwaves that were extremely loud. His music was so loud that Danny, Ember, Tucker, and Sam all covered their ears in pain, then Johnny sent out a green wave of energy that knocked them all on their backs.

Johnny stopped playing and smiled arrogantly as he said, "Never had one lesson."

Sam cringed as she sat up and sarcastically said, "Yeah, that wasn't clear."

Danny sat up and glared at Johnny as he said, "Why did take the guitar Johnny? What are you planning to do with it?"

Johnny smiled smugly as he said, "Take it easy punk. I just need it to make Kitten love me again. Ever since you and your goth girlfriend beat us she's been giving me the cold shoulder. But with this I can rock her world and win her back."

Danny was shocked as he exclaimed, "You stole Ember's guitar just so you could impress your girlfriend?!"

The shadow joined Johnny with an evil grin while Johnny leered at Danny and said, "That's right punk, and nothing's gonna stand in my way!"

He played a loud note on the guitar that caused a blast of energy to fire at Danny, but Sam quickly ran and grabbed him as she pulled him out of the way. They stood together and stared at Johnny as he smiled evilly at them and prepared to play another note. Just then Ember came and grabbed her guitar as she tried to take it away from Johnny but he wouldn't let go as they both kept pulling on it.

Johnny kept pulling on the guitar as he angrily said, "Let go!"

Ember kept trying to take it as she angrily stared him in the face and said, "No way! No one plays my guitar except me!"

They both kept struggling when Johnny's shadow flew behind Ember and wrapped his arms around her to restrain her. She grunted and squirmed as she tried to break free until the shadow released her, then Johnny played a loud note on the guitar. He sent out a loud sonic blast of green rings at Ember and blasted her off the rooftop and sent her flying through the air.

Jonny smiled evilly down at the guitar as he said, "Ha! With this thing I'm a lot tougher now than I ever was!"

His shadow snarled as he grinned evilly when suddenly Tucker and Sam jumped on Johnny and tried to take the guitar away from him.

Tucker held on tight as he bravely said, "Show's over Johnny! Time to turn down the volume!"

As the two of them pulled on the guitar, Sam forcefully demanded, "Give it up! It doesn't belong to you!"

They both struggled to try and pry the guitar out of his hands but Johnny was too strong for them as he held on tightly.

Johnny tried to pull the guitar away from Tucker and Sam while he angrily said, "Let go! Let go!"

The three of them grunted as they all pulled on the guitar until Johnny managed to pull it away from Tucker and Sam. He glared at them as he lifted his hand and prepared to play another note on the guitar as Danny got up and watched.

He then fearfully shouted, "No!"

He took flight and tried to stop Johnny but it was too late as Jonny played a very loud note on the guitar, sending out powerful sonic waves of music in every direction. The waves blasted Danny, Tucker, and Sam off the roof and damaged some of the buildings around them. People on the ground covered their ears in pain and took off running as large chunks rubble started falling off the buildings. Danny, Tucker, and Sam all screamed in pain and fear as they were sent flying off the rooftop and hurtling through the air.

Seeing all that he had just done Johnny smiled at the guitar as he ambitiously said, "With this baby Kitten will be in my arms and everyone else will be at my feet!"

He and his shadow smiled evilly as Johnny hopped on his motorcycle and drove it through the sky while his shadow followed him.

Commercial break

Danny, Tucker, and Sam were all screaming their heads off as they were still hurtling through the air over the buildings. Danny stopped and narrowed his eyes as he started flying with his fists out while his legs turned into a ghostly tail. He quickly flew and grabbed Tucker before setting him down on the sidewalk, then he turned and watched as Sam came falling toward the ground. She screamed loudly as Danny flew to her with blazing speed and caught her in his arms before gently setting her down.

He put his hand on her shoulder as he said, "Are you okay?"

Sam smiled at him lovingly as she replied, "Yeah, thanks to you."

He smiled back at her, suddenly Ember came and angrily said, "Hey lovebirds! Flirt with each other some other time! We gotta get my guitar back from that greasy-haired chump!"

Sam looked at Danny and Tucker with a serious expression as she put her arms out and said, "She's right guys. With Ember's guitar Johnny is more dangerous than ever! We have to stop him before he causes anymore trouble!"

Danny put his hands out, discouraged as he said, "And how are we supposed to find him? He's long gone by now."

Ember smiled proudly as she pointed at her right ear and said, "Leave it to me! If he plays a single note on my guitar, I'll hear it!"

She took off flying and Danny followed her into the sky while Tucker and Sam followed both of them on foot.

Later at Fenton Works

It was dusk when Jack was standing outside the bathroom doorway with his arms folded as he watched Danielle clean the bathroom herself. She had spent almost the entire day doing chores while Jack and Maddie took turns watching her to make sure she completed them. She looked bored and miserable as she finished cleaning the floor and then put the mop away and walked out.

She looked up at Jack as she said, "Okay, I finished cleaning the bathroom. Am I finally finished?"

Jack looked at her as he said, "Not yet Danielle. You still have a few more to do."

Danielle stared at him as she pouted, "Aww come on!"

Jack pointed his finger at her as he sternly said, "Don't give me that young lady! You wouldn't have to do this next chore if you did it any of the ten times I told you to yesterday."

Suddenly Maddie came upstairs and frantically said, "Jack! You have come down and see this! Danny's on TV again!"

Jack immediately became interested as he ran after her and down the stairs as he said, "Whoa! This I gotta see!"

After he went downstairs Danielle happily clinched her fists and said, "Yes!"

Just then Jack came back up and pointed at her as he said, "Danielle finish your chores."

He went back down and Danielle slouched as she whined, "Aww!"

She reached into her pocket and pulled out her list of chores while she said to herself, "What's left? Recharge the Fenton bazookas, clean the lab, take out the trash, and do the dishes. Oh great! This will take forever!"

She moped a bit as she stared at the staircase and then glanced at her bedroom door as an idea came to her mind.

She smiled deviously as she said to herself, "Then again, I don't have to do them right now. I've been working all day, I deserve a break. What's the worst that can happen?"

She went into her bedroom and sat on her bed as she turned on her TV and sighed in relaxation as she enjoyed her break. Downstairs, Jack and Maddie sat with Jazz on the couch as they watched a news report showing live footage of Danny flying with Ember. Meanwhile Danny and Ember were still searching for Johnny 13 as they both flew in the sky while Tucker and Sam managed to follow them on foot.

Suddenly Ember stopped and floated in the air as she put her hand to her ear and said, "Stop! Listen!"

Danny curiously said, "What is it?

She looked at Danny and pointed her finger as she said, "I hear him! Follow me!"

She flew toward the park and Danny flew after her; in the park Johnny was playing Ember's guitar as he used its power to blasts of purple energy that destroyed benches.

People in the park were running scared while one girl said, "He's cool!"

As they all ran away Johnny happily stopped playing and said, "I rock!"

Suddenly Danny shouted, "In the jailhouse maybe!"

Danny floated down with Ember as Johnny glared and said, "Not you punks again!"

Danny glared daggers as he demanded, "That's right Johnny! Now hand over the guitar!"

Johnny smiled evilly as he said, "I don't think so. I've been working on my solo. Listen to this!"

He played a loud note on the guitar, causing a purple fist of energy to come flying toward Danny and Ember, knocking them both into the air. They both recovered and floated in the air before flying back at Johnny but he sent his shadow at them while he played more music with the guitar. His shadow flew at Danny and punched him while Johnny sent a purple blast of energy at Ember and knocked her out of the air.

Tucker and Sam arrived as they watched Danny and Ember fight Johnny and his shadow, and Tucker said, "I have to admit Johnny is pretty good at playing the guitar."

Sam was also impressed as she said, "Yeah, if he wasn't using it to terrorize people I'd say I actually kind liked his music."

Johnny's shadow grabbed Danny and threw him at Ember, then Johnny played a loud note on the guitar that sent out a green ray of energy that knocked them both out of the air. Back at Fenton Works, Danny's parents and Jazz saw everything on the live news report and they grew concerned.

Maddie immediately exclaimed, "Danny needs help!"

Jack stood up and bravely said, "You're right honey! Are boy needs us! You get the bazookas, I'll start the RV!"

He took off running as Jazz followed him and Maddie quickly ran upstairs just as Danielle was walking out of her room.

Maddie stared at Danielle and exclaimed, "Danielle! Go ghost! Your brother needs help!"

She ran back downstairs to get the bazookas while Danielle happily went ghost while saying, "Yes! It's time to kick some butt!"

Shortly after, Danielle flew out of the house while Jack, Maddie, and Jazz followed her in the Fenton Ghost Assault Vehicle. Back at the park, Danny fired a ghost ray from his left hand at the shadow, causing it to cry in pain. Suddenly, Danny was hit from behind by a purple blast of energy that Johnny shot at him with the guitar.

Danny was knocked to the ground as Tucker and Sam shouted, "Danny!"

Johnny smiled when Ember came flying toward him, but Johnny played the guitar as he fired a blue beam of energy at her from the headstock. He successfully hit her and knocked her out of the air as she tumbled on the ground and groaned in pain as she passed out.

Johnny smiled arrogantly as he said, "Looks like I'm too much for you losers."

Danny got back up and glared daggers as he said, "We'll see about that!"

He continued to fight while Johnny kept playing the guitar and then his shadow came and floated in front of Danny while growling. Meanwhile, Danny's family was almost at the park as Danielle flew in front of the Fenton Ghost RV.

As Jack drove Jazz hesitantly said, "Dad, are you sure about this?"

Jack stared forward as he kept driving and said, "Absolutely Jasmine. When we see that ghost punk we all hit him with our weapons and show him what happens when you mess with our son!"

Maddie looked at Jack as she curiously said, "And they're all fully charged and ready?"

Jack stared at the road ahead and Danielle as he showed some annoyance and said, "Don't worry. I'm sure Danielle recharged the bazookas. I reminded her five times today about the ten times I told her to do it yesterday."

They came to the park as Danielle flew in and Tucker and Sam screamed as they jumped out of the way when the RV drove past them. The shadow was about to attack Danny when Danielle flew at it and kicked it away from him; the shadow floated in the air and growled angrily at Danielle.

She floated by Danny and put her hands together while she said, "Leave my brother alone you stupid shadow!"

The shadow growled at her as he flew toward her but Danielle created a ball of ecto-energy between her hands and then launched it at the shadow. She hit it in the chest, blowing a small hole in it's body as it screamed in pain and fell to the ground. The RV parked and Jack, Maddie, and Jazz came out with bazookas as they stood underneath Danny and Danielle, who were floating in the air.

The three of them aimed their bazookas at Johnny while Jazz angrily shouted, "Hey Johnny! Remember me?"

Johnny looked at them as he nervously said, "Uh oh."

Maddie glared her goggles as she angrily said, "This will teach you to mess with our children!"

They all aimed their bazookas and prepared to fire as the bazookas made noises, but then fell silent as nothing happened.

The Fentons were all shocked and then Jack looked up at Danielle and said, "Danielle, didn't you recharge the bazookas?"

Danielle looked down at them before staring into space, her eyes wide with regret as she said, "Oops."

Johnny smirked at then as he said, "Sorry pops, looks like you're out of steam."

Jack glared at Johnny as he furiously said, "DON'T CALL ME POPS!"

He ran toward Johnny but he strummed the guitar and sent a purple sonic wave out that blasted Jack, Maddie, and Jazz into a bush.

Danny and Danielle watched in fear as they simultaneously cried, "Mom! Dad! Jazz!"

They both narrowed their eyes as they started flying toward Johnny, but his shadow came and attacked Danielle. The shadow slashed its claws at her but she dodged its attacks before kicking it in the face and knocking it away. Danny flew toward Johnny and made three duplicates of himself as they all prepared to attack him and take the guitar away. They came at him with their hands out when he started playing the guitar and sent out powerful green sonic waves that knocked Danny and Danielle to the ground and made his duplicates disappear. The waves also spread across part of the city and broke windows and other glass objects as they passed them.

Seeing everything he did Johnny smiled as he said, "Wait til Kitten get's an earful of this!"

He got on his motorcycle and drove off while his shadow joined him and they left the park while Tucker and Sam helped Danny and Danielle up.

Sam showed concern as she said, "You okay?"

Danny looked at her and said, "Yeah, I think so."

Ember came up and glared at all of them as she angrily said, "Nice going dipsticks! You let him get away again!"

Danny glared back at her as he pointed his finger and said, "Hey we are trying to help you get your stupid guitar back!"

Ember glared daggers at them as she said, "Well you're doing a lousy job of it!"

They all turned as Jack, Maddie, and Jazz climbed out of the bush with a few leaves and twigs stuck to them.

Danielle floated over to them and smiled nervously as she said, "I probably should've recharged the bazookas any of the fifteen times you told me to."

Jack, Maddie, and Jazz all glared at her until Danny floated to them and pointed his thumb back and said, "Mom, dad, Jazz, Dani, you all go home. We'll handle Johnny."

Jazz nodded as she said, "Okay Danny. Good luck."

He took Tucker and Sam and flew off with Ember, then Danielle's family glared at her as Jack angrily said, "You're in a lot of trouble young lady!"

Danielle looked at them with regret as she said, "Yeah I know."

Danny, Tucker, Sam, and Ember spent the next hour searching the rest of Amity Park but they couldn't find any sign of Johnny 13. They split up and searched different areas of the city but none of them could find any sign of Johnny, and Ember hadn't heard her guitar at all.

After searching they regrouped at a closed carnival and Danny curiously said, "Any of you guys find him?"

Tucker put his hands up as he replied, "I haven't seen him anywhere."

Sam was disappointed as she said, "I couldn't find him if we walked right up to me."

Ember began to lose her patience as she angrily said, "Rrrgh! This is just great! How are we gonna find that guitar thief?!"

Danny thought as he glanced around and then noticed a nearby outdoor stage that had band equipment and instruments set up.

Danny smiled deviously at the others as he said, "Well, if we can't find Johnny then maybe we can make him come to us."

Meanwhile back at Fenton Works Jack and Maddie had just finished giving Danielle a lecture about not finishing her chores like they asked. They also grounded her for a week for not recharging the bazookas and for slacking from her chores. Now Danielle was sitting at the kitchen table with Jack as he showed her the simulation on his laptop of the house exploding.

Danielle let out a cry of fear as Jack seriously explained, "And that's why you have to change the Ecto-Filtrator every six months."

Danielle was shaken up as she said, "Wow! I'm glad that wasn't one of my chores."

Jack looked down at her and angrily said, "Yes but recharging the Fenton bazookas was one of them, but you didn't do it. Along with the rest of your chores on your list."

Danielle looked up at her father as she sincerely said, "I know and I'm sorry."

They looked at Maddie as she had her hands on her hips and sternly said, "We know you're sorry Danielle but that's not enough. You need to be more responsible and do your part to help this family. Your father and I can't keep making sure that you do your chores, and we expect you to listen to us when we tell you something. We're all very disappointed in you!"

Jack got up and he and Maddie walked out of the kitchen, leaving Danielle alone as she sadly slumped in her chair, thinking about what her parents said. She reached into her pocket and pulled out her list of chores and then narrowed her eyes as she walked out with a serious expression.

Meanwhile Johnny was riding his motorcycle through the town as he arrogantly said, "Yeah! Nothing can stop me now! I'm gonna be the best rockstar ever!"

He stopped when he noticed a flier on the ground, he picked it up and smiled as he said, "What's this? Dumpty Humpty is playing at the Amity Park carnival? Sweet! Let's see how those wannabes feel when they meet a real rockstar."

He drove off and headed for the carnival, only to find that all the lights were out and no one else was around.

He came to the outdoor stage and noticed that no one was there as he suspiciously said, "What gives? Where is everyone?"

Danny, Tucker, Sam, and Ember all came out of hiding as Danny folded his arms and smugly said, "The carnival closed hours ago, but at least you got our invitation."

He glared at them before smiling evilly as he said, "You punks think you're smart huh? Well you're pretty stupid to think you can beat me that easy. Shadow attack!"

Johnny's shadow growled as he flew toward them while Danny deviously said, "And you think we're the stupid ones. Tucker now!"

Tucker activated something with his PDA, which caused all of the stage lights to turn on and shine directly on Johnny's shadow. It screamed in agony as the lights shined on it and then it disappeared as the lights seemingly destroyed it.

Johnny was shocked as he held his hand out but then glared daggers as he grabbed the guitar and said, "No! You're gonna pay for that squirt!"

Before he could do anything Ember came and grabbed the guitar as she tried to take it back and said, "No more of that! Give me back what's mine!"

Johnny angrily pulled it back and kicked her away as he said, "No way!"

She fell down and Danny floated in front of her as he said, "Come on Johnny! It's time to face the music!"

He swiped his left leg through the air and sent a wave of ecto-energy at Johnny, hitting him and knocking him down. Danny flew at him tried to punch him but Johnny dodged him and road his motorcycle past Ember, Tucker, and Sam. Then Johnny quickly played a loud note on the guitar and sent out a sonic wave that sent all three of them flying back.

They fell to the ground and Danny floated in front of them while glaring daggers as he said, "That's it! Let's see what you think of this high note!"

He took a deep breath and then let out the ghostly wail, sending out his green sonic waves toward Johnny. Johnny looked scared as Danny's ghostly wail nocked him back onto the stage and then destroyed the entire stage as pieces of it fell on top of Johnny. When the stage was completely destroyed Danny stopped and Tucker, Sam, and Ember joined him as they stared at the debris of the stage. They walked up to find Johnny lying on his back in a pile of debris with Ember's guitar a few feet behind him as he groaned and looked up at the four of them.

He saw them glaring down at him and nervously said, "Aww crud."

Danny then said, "It's over Johnny. You've lost."

Suddenly they were all startled as they heard a familiar voice say, "What's going on?! What's all the racket out here!"

They looked up to see Kitty floating in the air as she looked down at them, then she descended onto the destroyed stage.

She curiously looked at Johnny before glaring at the others, then him, as she said, "Johnny? What just happened?"

Ember glared at Kitty while pointing at Johnny as she said, "Your stupid boyfriend stole my guitar!"

Kitty was shocked as she said, "What?"

Sam glared at Kitty as she added, "And he's been using it to attack us!"

Tucker also glared as he said, "He terrorized Amity Park with his musical mayhem!"

Danny folded his arms as he angrily said, "He hurt my family!"

Kitty glared at Johnny as she said, "You did all that?"

Johnny let out a weary sigh as he said, "Yeah. I just wanted to impress you."

She was shocked as she said, "Huh?"

Johnny looked up at Kitty as he explained, "After you ditched me for losing to the Phantom punk and his girlfriend I thought I could win you back with my rocking talent. So I stole her guitar and used it to play some rocking tunes so that I could win you back."

Ember glared at Johnny as she said, "The doofus used my guitar's power against me and tried waste us all!"

Johnny looked at Kitty as he admitted, "I thought with it's power I could get you back and kick the butt of anyone else we wanted."

Kitty smiled lovingly as she put her hands together and then hugged and cuddled Johnny while she said, "You did all that stuff for me? You really do care! You are so sweet! You are the nicest boyfriend ever! You're the best!"

Johnny smiled as he hugged her back and said, "Aww, you know I'd do anything for you baby."

The others watched them with shocked expressions as Sam said, "I guess Johnny's plan worked after all."

Ember was annoyed as she glared at the two of them and folded her arms as she said, "Some people just have bad taste."

Danny pulled the Fenton Thermos and took off the lid as he blankly said, "Well at least they have each other."

Johnny and Kitty both screamed as Danny sucked them both into the Fenton Thermos as they held on to each other.

After they were sucked inside Johnny's voice was heard as he happily said, "Oh well. At least were alone together, eh Kitten?"

Kitten's voice spoke seductively as she said, "Yeah, I think I know how to make the best of it."

Smooching sounds were suddenly heard as Danny quickly put the lid back on the Fenton Thermos, afraid of to imagine what might happen next. Then he and his friends looked to see Ember holding her guitar as she strummed it a few times.

She smiled as she happily said, "Oh yeah. Baby's back with mama."

Danny, Tucker, and Sam glared at her suspiciously, but she smiled at them as she said, "Relax dipsticks, you helped me get my guitar back so I'm gonna let you off the hook, for now."

Danny kept glaring at her as he said, "Good. Because I'm in no mood for any of your bad music right now."

Ember smiled at them all deviously as she said, "Oh don't you worry, when it's time for my encore Ember will be ready to rock again!"

She flew off and Danny and the others watched her while Danny said, "Well, at least we'll be able to get some peace and quiet for a while."

Danny took Tucker and Sam and flew off; later at Fenton Works, it was late at night Danny arrived home as he flew in and turned human while holding the Fenton Thermos.

He let out a yawn before he called out, "I'm home. I bagged Johnny AND Kitty, so they won't be bothering us anymore."

Suddenly he heard Danielle call, "Great job Danny!"

Danny curiously looked around as he said, "Danielle?"

Danielle then called out, "In the kitchen."

Jack, Maddie, and Jazz were also walking by when they heard Danielle's voice and they also became curious. Danny was surprised as he walked in the kitchen to find Danielle scrubbing the dishes as he was joined by his parents and Jazz as they watched her. She scrubbed them with soap before stacking them up on the counter, and she only had a couple of dishes left.

Danny was impressed as he said, "Danielle, what are you doing?"

Danielle finished scrubbing the last dish before glancing to her family and honestly said, "Finishing my chores."

Jack and Maddie glanced at each other with surprised expressions as Maddie said, "Without being asked?"

Danielle put the last dish on the stack and looked at the others as she said, "Yeah. I felt bad about not charging the bazookas and getting you guys hurt, so I decided to make up for it. I recharged all the Fenton bazookas and then did the rest of my chores."

Jack then curiously said, "You cleaned the lab?"

Danielle honestly replied, "Yes."

Maddie pointed her left thumb sideways as she asked, "You took out the trash?"

Danielle nodded as she answered, "Yes."

Jazz walked over to her and inspected the dishes and smiled as she said, "And you just finished scrubbing all of the dishes."

Danielle nodded and said, "Yeah."

Danny joined them as he happily said, "Good job Danielle."

Their parents joined them as Danielle modestly said, "Thanks. I finished all of my chores and I've learned my lesson."

Maddie was impressed as she looked at Danielle and said, "Really?"

Danielle smiled up at her parents as she honestly said, "Really. From now on I'll try to be more responsible and listen better. I'll remember to do my chores and I'll do a better job of following the rules. You're my family so I'll do what I can to help you out and I'll try not to mess things up for you guys."

Maddie put her hand on Danielle's shoulder proudly before looking stern while she said, "Good job sweetie. But you're still grounded for a week."

Outside the house Danielle's voice was heard as she disappointedly said, "Oh man!"

The camera moved to reveal Ember floating in the air nearby as she happily played her guitar while dancing and rocking out to her own music. The screen faded to black as an iris closed around Ember's face as she happily rocked out with her guitar.

Author's note: I thought up this subplot involving Danielle and then the idea came to have Johnny as the main bad guy. I could definitely picture Johnny wanting to play Ember's guitar, and I could certainly picture Danielle sometimes getting in trouble with her parents. Please review.
