Danny Phantom Forever

Note: I'm taking a short break from Danny Phantom episodes focusing on Danielle, so in this episode she'll have a much smaller role. This will be a nice change of pace.

Dog Eat Dog

It was nighttime in Amity Park and Danny was flying through the air as he was chased by Skulker over rooftops.

Danny flew backwards as he repeatedly fired rays from his hands at Skulker while saying, "Give it a rest Skulker!"

Skulker dodged every shot as he flew and activated a large weapon in his right forearm and said, "I said I would never stop hunting you and I meant it!"

He fired a green laser at Danny and blasted him out of the air and sent him crashing down onto a rooftop. Danny groaned as he got up on his knees when Skulker floated down in front of him and activated another large weapon in his other forearm.

He smiled evilly as he pointed his weapons at Danny and said, "Finally! I'll have your head mounted on my wall!"

His eyes widened as he suddenly heard Valerie shout, "Hey tinman!"

Valerie flew at Skulker on her hoverboard and rammed him, knocking him away from Danny as he landed on another rooftop.

He got up and looked up at Valeire glaring down at him on her hoverboard as she said, "Let's see how you like being hunted!"

Skulker snarled angrily as he aimed his weapons at her, but she made two blasters come out of her pack and fired them, destroying both of his weapons.

He discarded the destroyed weapons and glared at Valerie as he said, "Alright hunter girl, let's see how you do without hacking into my system!"

He made missile launchers come out of his shoulders and fired several missiles at her, but she retracted her weapons. She waited for the right moment and then flew out of the way as the missiles hit each other and all exploded at once. Then Valeire pulled several buzzsaw-like discs out of her pack and fiercely threw them all straight at Skulker. She cut off his missile launchers as well as one of his legs and his arm, and her blades left a couple gash marks in his armor.

Skulker cried in shock as he fell down and Valerie smiled victoriously as she said, "How was that?"

Danny then came up behind her and sucked Skulker into the Fenton Thermos and gratefully said, "Thanks for the help Val."

She smiled happily at Danny as she said, "Anytime Danny."

Danny spoke with respect as he said, "You know, you've come a long way since you first started ghost hunting."

Valerie showed a flattered smile as she said, "Thanks Danny. That's really nice of you to say."

Danny put his hands on his sides while he floated and happily said, "And it's also great to be done with you trying to hunt me too."

Valerie smiled happily as she said, "Yeah, and it feels good to fight beside Danny Phantom and protect Amity Park from evil ghosts."

Danny smiled slyly as he pointed his fingers at Valerie and said, "And not to mention you're dating the mayor."

He laughed while Valeire was mildly annoyed as she smiled and said, "Yeah, ha ha, very funny."

Danny stopped laughing as he held his palm up and said, "But seriously, you've changed a lot in the past year."

Valerie smiled as she stood tall her hands on her hips in pride and said, "Thanks. I do feel like I've really risen above myself."

Danny smiled and pointed his thumb behind himself and said, "Yeah, now come on. Let's meet Tucker and Sam at the mall for some fun."

They both started flying away as Valerie happily said, "Sounds good to me!"

Opening theme

The title card showed an image of Danny and Valerie running in fear from the ghost dog while Walker stood behind it and pointed at them with his mouth open as he smiled evilly. It was a bright and sunny morning when Valerie was at her house, she was about to suit up and go out to search for any ghosts to fight. Her suit materialized over her body and she showed a determined expression as she stared forward.

Suddenly her dad walked in her room and caught her as he said, "You going out to fight ghosts?"

Valerie smiled sheepishly as she said, "Maybe…"

He calmly walked up to her and respectfully said, "Before you go, I'd like to tell you something."

Valerie was a bit surprised as she curiously said, "Okay?"

Damon put his hands on her shoulders as he honestly said, "When I first learned about your mission to fight ghosts I didn't like it. I thought it was too dangerous. Things have been hard for us ever since that ghost dog showed up at the lab. But things have started getting better and you've really shown that you can protect yourself and others when you put that suit on. I'm proud of you."

Valerie was touched as she smiled and said, "Thanks dad."

She lovingly hugged her father and he hugged her back before she pulled away from him and jumped in the air. Her hoverboard materialized beneath her and she flew out the window waving "goodbye" to her father while he waved back at her.

Meanwhile at Fenton Works

Danielle was alone in Jazz's room as she searched for something, looking underneath Jazz's bed and around her desk.

As she searched Danielle said, "Where are you? Come out. Here boy."

Suddenly Danny and Jazz walked in talking when they noticed her and Jazz said, "Danielle?"

Danielle was startled as she turned to them and smiled nervously as she said, "Jazz! What are you doing here?"

Jazz became suspicious as she said, "It's my room. What are you doing here?"

Danielle glanced around nervously as she said, "Nothing! I'm not even here!"

Danny narrowed his eyes as he suspiciously said, "Yes you are. We can see you."

Danielle then turned invisible as she nervously said, "No you can't!"

They both knew she was still there as Jazz put her hands on her hips and sternly said, "Danielle…"

Danielle turned visible and finally surrendered as she confessed, "Okay. I got a dog and I lost him."

Jazz was shocked as she said, "You lost a dog in my room?!"

Danielle looked at her as she honestly said, "No, I lost him in the house. I was just checking to see if he was in your room."

Suddenly Danny and Danielle's ghost senses went off and Danny looked around when suddenly the ghost dog phased in through the wall in his small form.

Danielle smiled as she picked him up and said, "There you are!"

The ghost dog started licking her as she laughed happily and Danny was shocked as he said, "You brought him in here!"

Danielle looked up at Danny as she held the ghost dog and honestly said, "What? He came out of the Ghost Portal and I started playing with him."

Jazz placed her finger on her chin in thought as she said, "A ghost dog?"

Danielle smiled happily as she hugged the ghost dog and said, "Yeah! Can we keep him? Please!"

Danny showed a serious expression as he pointed at the dog and said, "No way! Do you have any idea how dangerous he is?!"

Danielle was shocked as she put the ghost dog down and said, "Dangerous? Him? Come on Danny!"

Jazz kneeled down and smiled as she petted the ghost dog and said, "I'm with Danielle on this one Danny. I know he's a ghost but I don't see how this little guy could be dangerous. He's so little."

Danielle looked down at the ghost dog and said, "Yeah. I wish he was big."

Suddenly the ghost dog grew to his enormous size and started growling as Danielle nervously said, "Not that big!"

Jazz got nervous as the ghost dog stared her in the face growling, and she said, "Uh… Sit."

The ghost dog did not listen to her as it roared at her and she screamed and ran away in fear as it started chasing her through the house.

Both Danny and Danielle went ghost and started chasing them while Danielle yelled, "No stop! Bad dog! Don't eat Jazz!"

They spent an hour chasing the ghost dog all over the house while also protecting Jazz and their parents from him. After a while the ghost dog phased out of Danny's house and started running in the streets as Danny started chasing him. After they left, Danielle looked at the mess they made in the house and then looked at Jazz, Jack, and Maddie glaring at her.

Danielle chuckled nervously and then said, "I'm in trouble, aren't I?"

Later in Amity Park

Valerie was flying high over a street when suddenly an alarm in her suit went off, detecting a ghost nearby. She looked around for any sign of ghostly activity when she saw the ghost dog running down the street.

Valerie glared daggers as she said, "YOU!"

She then flew down and hovered in front the ghost dog as it stopped in its tracks and snarled viciously at her.

Valerie clinched her fists as she kept glaring and said, "I've been waiting for this!"

She then made two small blasters come out of her wrists and then rapidly fired them both at the ghost dog. The ghost dog ran to avoid getting hit but a few shots hit him, then Valerie flew him and retracted her weapons before firing a purple ray from her hoverboard. She blasted the ghost dog and sent him crashing into a wall as he cried in pain and tried to get up while Valerie hovered in front of him.

She glared at him with hatred and said, "You're finally gonna pay for ruining things for me and my dad!"

She prepared to fire another ray from her hoverboard until Danny got in her way saying, "Valerie don't!"

She glared as she stubbornly said, "Danny, get out of my way!"

Danny held his hands out as he pleaded, "Valerie stop! You don't have to do this!"

Valerie angrily pointed at the ghost dog as she said, "That's the ghost dog that destroyed my dad's lab and wrecked everything for me and him!"

Danny spoke sincerely as he said, "I know, but this is wrong."

Valerie stubbornly glared at him when the ghost dog's ears twitched as he suddenly heard something and his eyes widened in alarm. He immediately got up and took off running; Danny and Valerie watched him run and saw him heading for Axion Labs.

Valerie quickly became worried as she said, "The lab! My dad's over there right now! I can't let that dog ruin things for him!"

Danny started flying with a ghostly tail as he said, "Come on!"

They both flew after the ghost dog, and immediately after they left another ghost appeared as he phased out of a wall.

It was one of Walker's prison guards as he spoke into a communicator with an evil smile and said, "I've located the dog, as well as the escaped prisoner Danny Phantom."

Danny and Valerie chased the ghost dog over towards Axiom Labs, and while they flew Danny said, "We have to stop him!"

Valerie glared daggers as she said, "We need to catch him and put him down!"

Danny looked at Valerie as he sincerely said, "No! We have to put him back in the Ghost Zone."

Valerie glared at Danny as she pointed at the dog and said, "I'm not gonna let that stupid dog make things harder for my dad again!"

Danny looked at her as he solemnly said, "Neither am I, but we can't destroy him. I know he's dangerous but he's still just a dog."

Valerie kept glaring when they watched the ghost dog run and phase through a wall of the lab, then Danny took Valerie's hand and they both became intangible as Danny phased them through the wall. In the lab, Damon was sitting at his desk as he enjoyed a nice cup of coffee when suddenly he heard a loud rumbling. He turned around and watched the ghost dog enter the lab as he barked loudly as Damon employees screamed in terror. Damon jumped out of the way as the dog ran past him and destroyed his desk before it started running around the lab barking.

Danny and Valerie flew passed Damon as he yelled, "Valerie!"

She smiled awkwardly as she glanced back at him and said, "It's okay daddy. We got it."

The ghost dog started biting down on a large metal pipe and shaking it like it was a chew toy when Danny flew up to him and whistled. The dog listened and turned his attention to Danny who pointed his finger out of the floor, prompting the dog to drop the pipe. Danny floated up to the ghost dog and scratched its face, causing it to smile and pant as it thumbed its leg and sat down wagging its tail.

It shrunk down to its smaller puppy size and smiled up at Danny, who happily said, "I guess dogs really are man's best friend."

Valerie floated down on her hoverboard and glared as aimed a weapon on her forearm and said, "Good, now finish him!"

Danny stepped in front of her with his hands out as he said, "Valerie no!"

The ghost dog grew to its enormous size again and growled at Valerie, but Danny said, "Sit! Stay!"

The ghost dog then complied as it sat down and kept glaring at Valerie, then Danny looked at her and said, "Valerie, put the weapons away. He won't attack if you don't threaten him."

Valerie glared at the ghost dog but then looked at Danny as she reluctantly retracted her weapon and then her hoverboard disappeared and she stood on the floor.

Danny smiled gratefully as he said, "Thanks."

Valerie folded her arms as she kept glaring and said, "Fine, but I want him out of here ASAP!"

Danny nodded in agreement when Damon came over to them and said, "What's going on here?"

They both looked at him as Danny calmly put his hands up and said, "It's okay Mr. Gray. Everything's under control."

Damon looked at them and pointed at the ghost dog as he hastily said, "Under control?! That's the ghost dog that first attacked our lab!"

Danny waved his hands as he explained, "I know! I know! But he's not bad. All he wanted was his squeaky toy."

Damon was surprised as he said, "Squeaky toy?"

Danny pointed his thumb to the side as he replied, "Yeah. There was an old squeaky toy in the kennel where you guys kept your guard dogs."

Damon thought for a moment as he placed his finger on his chin while Valerie angrily asked, "Then what's he doing here now?!"

Danny looked at the ghost dog and examined him and suddenly he noticed some burn marks on his hind legs.

Danny was shocked as he said, "He's hurt!"

Damon was surprised as he said, "What?"

Danny pointed at the burn marks as he said, "Look at his legs! Blast marks!"

Valerie noticed them and became curious as she said, "Those aren't from my weapons."

Danny looked at them as he speculated, "Someone must've attacked him, and he came here to hide."

Damon looked at the injuries on the dog before he looked at its face and said, "Wait a minute…"

He walked over to the ghost dog as Valerie nervously said, "Dad! What are you doing?!"

The ghost dog growled at Damon as he came closer and examined its face and collar and said, "Cujo?"

The ghost dog stopped growling and smiled as it panted happily and shrunk down to his puppy form and jumped into Damon's arms.

Damon was amazed as he smiled and said, "I don't believe it!"

Danny and Valerie were both baffled as Danny said, "Wait! You know this ghost dog?"

Damon looked at the two of them as he explained, "This is Cujo. He was one of the lab's guard dogs years ago before he passed away. He was the most well behaved of all the guard dogs. I used to play with him between shifts."

Danny and Valerie were both amazed as Danny said, "Wow!"

Just then, the boss came in as he glared them all and said, "Well, isn't this touching little reunion."

He glanced around at the damage and then glared at them as Damon nervously said, "Sir, I can explain."

The boss kept glaring as he said, "No need Gray. You're on thin ice."

Suddenly they all heard Tucker's voice say, "Not so fast!"

They all turned to see Sam and Tucker walk in the room and Danny smiled at Valerie as he said, "Called Sam and Tucker on the way here."

Tucker and Sam walked over to the boss as Tucker proudly said, "As mayor, I can assure you that you're new Ghost Insurance will cover all of this. I'll also see that all your damaged equipment is replaced by Monday, so there's really no need to punish anyone."

The boss glanced at Damon and looked stern as he said, "Very well, but no more mishaps."

He walked away and Sam smiled as she said, "Nice work Tucker."

He smiled proudly when Valerie gratefully hugged him and said, "You're the best!"

He smiled as he hugged her back, they let go and Damon came to them and gratefully said, "Thanks for the help Tucker."

Tucker smiled proudly as he said, "No problem Mr. G."

Valerie then glared at Kujo as she fiercely said, "Okay, now let's get rid of this stupid dog before he causes any more trouble!"

Damon held his right hand up as he said, "Valerie calm down! I know Cujo has caused problems for us in the past but you shouldn't be so hard on him."

Danny agreed as he said, "Your dad's right Valerie. I promise, after we fix him up we'll take him back to my house and throw him back into the Ghost Zone."

Damon complied as he said, "And in the meantime we'll all make sure Cujo doesn't cause any more trouble."

Valerie glared at Cujo before looking at the others as she groaned, "Fine!"

They started looking at Cujo and tended to his injuries as Valerie watched and then left in a huff, not liking having the ghost dog around.

She walked through a hallway as she angrily said to herself, "That stupid dog is nothing but trouble and everyone else acts like he's just a cute little puppy!"

She was startled when she suddenly heard a voice say, "More like a vicious mutt."

Valerie turned around to see Walker standing at the end of the hall as she said, "Who are you?"

Walker smiled evilly as he said, "Name's Walker girl."

Valerie glared at Walker as she recognized him and pointed her finger and said, "I know you! You're that ghost who was on TV a couple months ago! You attacked my boyfriend and held Amity Park hostage in exchange for Danny!"

Walker smiled maliciously and said, "That's old news kid."

Valerie held out her left fist as a blaster came out of her wrist as she fiercely said, "It's still recent enough for me to remember!"

Walker didn't move as he deviously said, "Calm down girl, I'm not here to fight. I've got an offer for you."

Valerie glared at him suspiciously as she kept her weapon aimed at him and said, "What kind of offer?"

Walker smiled deviously as he said, "Hand over that ghost dog you and your friends got in there and I'll make sure he never bothers you again."

Valerie was surprised as she retracted the blaster, lowered her arm, and asked, "What are you talking about?"

Walker kept looking at her as he said, "Let my men and I take that mutt off your hands. We'll take him with us back into the Ghost Zone and you'll be free of him forever. Hand him over and we'll leave you, your friends, and your dad alone."

Valerie was distrustful as she said, "How do I know you won't go back on your word?"

Walker smiled calmly as he held his palms up and said, "I wouldn't do that. That'd be against the rules."

Valerie looked nervous as she became conflicted as she stared at Walker, who kept smiling back at her creepily. Sometime later, Valerie went back into the lab to find her dad playing fetch with Cujo as he happily petted his head.

Valerie joined Danny, Tucker, and Sam as she said, "I don't see how my dad can like that stupid dog!"

Danny looked at her and calmly said, "I know he can be vicious sometimes but he's really not a bad dog."

Sam agreed as she said, "Danny's right. Ghost or not he's still just a dog. He's not evil."

Valerie glared at them as she said, "That thing ruined our lives!"

Tucker looked at Valerie as he said, "Actually, it might not really be his fault that happened."

They looked at Tucker with curious expressions as Valerie asked, "What do you mean?"

Tucker looked at all of them as he honestly explained, "I've been thinking. After Cujo trashed the lab and you and your dad hit rock bottom, that's when Vlad gave you those weapons. Right?"

Valerie nodded as she replied, "Yeah."

Tucker looked at them with his eyes wide open as he continued, "So maybe he's the one who sent Cujo in the first place. What if he sent the dog to destroy the lab so you would go on your ghost hunting spree."

Valerie and Sam's eyes widened in shock while Danny folded his arms and narrowed his eyes as he said, "I wouldn't be surprised. Vlad really knows how to manipulate people."

Valerie realized they might be right as she stared forward and said, "He did send me the weapons right after we moved out of our old house."

Sam looked at Valerie as she sincerely said, "Maybe you've been blaming the wrong ghost for ruining your life."

Valerie looked back at Cujo with thought and narrowed her eyes as she said, "Maybe, but he still played a part in it."

Sam glared a bit at Valerie as she defensively said, "You used to feel the same way about Danny."

Valerie's expression softened as she realized Sam was right and looked down with a bit of guilt and regret. Cujo suddenly stopped playing with Damon as his ears twitched and he stared into space with an alarmed expression.

Damon became confused as he said, "Cujo? Are you okay?"

Cujo suddenly sniffed the air and then grew to his enormous size as he growled threateningly, much to Damon and the others shock.

Danny floated in front of Cujo and held his arms out as he said, "Whoa! Easy boy!"

Cujo did not listen as he looked around and barked loudly, and Sam asked, "What's wrong with him?"

Damon kept staring at Cujo as he urgently said, "A dog usually becomes agitated when it senses a potential threat nearby."

Cujo kept barking threateningly, then suddenly Walker's guards phased out of the walls with evil smiles. They floated in the air and surrounded everyone as Danny and the others glanced around at them in shock and fright.

Tucker became nervous as he said, "I think this qualifies as a potential threat."

Walker suddenly appeared in front of them with an evil smile as Danny exclaimed, "Walker!"

Walker leered at Danny as he maniacally said, "Welcome to the dog pound."

He laughed evilly as all of his ghost guards kept floating around the lab, staring down at the group while Walker's laugh echoed.

Commercial break

Walker floated high in the air as he glared down at Danny and pointed his finger threateningly and said, "Harboring a dangerous animal. That's against the rules."

Danny smiled mockingly at Walker as he said, "What are you doing here Walker? Did you get demoted to animal control?"

Walker pointed at Cujo as he said, "That canine is now owned by me and the Ghost Zone Prison. I sent my men to capture him and bring him to me, but he escaped and fled through that portal of yours into this world."

Cujo snarled at Walker as Danny angrily pointed at him and said, "You're the one who hurt him!"

Walker glared at Danny then smiled evilly said, "My men and I followed him to this world and he led us right to you. He'll make a fine police dog."

Danny's hands glowed green as he prepared to fight and defiantly said, "I don't think so!"

He was about to attack when Valerie said, "Danny don't!"

Danny was confused as he said, "Huh?"

Valerie stepped forward and pointed at Walker as she demanded, "Okay warden, you got your dog! Now take him and go!"

The others were all shocked as Danny said, "What?!"

Damon stared at her in shock as he said, "Valerie?!"

Valerie turned around with shame as she said, "I'm sorry guys. Walker agreed that if I gave him the ghost dog he'd take him back to the Ghost Zone and leave us all alone."

Walker smiled evilly as he pointed at Cujo and said, "Take him down!"

All of the ghost guards fired green rays from their weapons and hit Cujo as he howled in pain and then fell down unconscious. Once he had fallen to the floor he shrunk back to his smaller size and just laid down, knocked out and vulnerable.

Danny stared at Cujo in horror as he yelled, "No!"

Walker smiled evilly as he said, "Now that's a good boy."

Danny turned around and glared daggers as he fired two ghost rays from his hands and blasted two of Walker's guards.

Danny started flying toward Walker angrily while Walker pointed at him and yelled, "Get em!"

Walker's guards all flew at the group and started attacking as a few of them came and hit Danny with their weapons and knocked him to the floor.

Sam and Tucker both watched in fear as they yelled, "Danny!"

They both immediately ran to help him when a ghost guard floated in front of them with an evil smile as he blocked their way.

Damon quickly held up a high-tech rifle as he fiercely yelled, "Get away from them!"

He fired a blue ray that blasted the guard away from Sam and Tucker and sent him crashing into another guard. Damon fired the ray at a few more guards that came at him, but then another fired a green ray that knocked him down.

Valerie watched in horror as she cried, "Daddy!"

She then glared daggers as she jumped in the air and formed her hoverboard under her feet as she started flying through the air. She rammed a few guards and knocked them away from her father, then she flew at Walker and hovered in front of him.

She glared at him as she said, "This wasn't the deal! You said this was against the rules!"

Walker glared at her as he spitefully said, "I just changed the rules!"

He clinched his left fist as he fired a pink ghost ray at Valerie and sent her crashing to the ground as her hoverboard vanished. She lost consciousness as he ran to help her while more guards came at him, but Danny quickly floated in front of him and punched them both away.

Walker pointed at Danny as he angrily yelled, "Take him down!"

All of the guards ganged up on Danny as they banded together and started brutally beating him together as they overran him. They all hit him with their weapons one after the other as Danny cried in pain as he was knocked to the ground. Then all of them aimed their weapons at him and fired green rays that blasted him at the same time as he cried in agony. Finally Danny passed out and reverted to his human form when Sam rushed to his aid and looked down at him with worry and heartbreak.

Walker smiled victoriously as he stared at Danny and pulled out a pet carrier while he said, "That's what happens when you break my rules punk! Now for the dog!"

Sometime later

Valerie woke up in a daze and groaned as she felt her head in pain and said, "What happened?"

She looked to see Danny and Sam glaring at her while Tucker and her father stood behind her, looking stern.

Sam had her hands on her hips as she kept glaring at Valerie and answered, "Walker and his goons came and took Cujo!"

This jogged Valerie's memory as she showed regret and said, "Oh man!"

Danny was disappointed as he said, "I can't believe you made a deal with Walker!"

Valerie was ashamed as she sincerely apologized, "I'm sorry guys. I just wanted to get rid of that ghost dog."

Danny had his fists on his sides as he sternly said, "I know you didn't like him but you should've never trusted Walker!"

She hung her head in regret as she said, "I know. I really messed up."

Tucker turned from Valerie to the others as he curiously said, "What do you think Walker wants with Cujo anyway?"

Danny showed a serious expression as he thought and said, "He probably wants to use him as his own attack dog or something."

Damon looked at the others as he stated, "Cujo was once a guard dog."

Sam spoke with disdain as he said, "Walker will probably treat him the same way he treated Wulf."

Valerie became surprised as she inquired, "Wulf?"

Tucker held his right palm out toward Valerie as he explained, "Wulf used to be one of Walker's prisoners before we set him free."

Danny folded his arms as he narrowed his eyes with hatred as he said, "Walker tortured him, used him as a slave, and then tried to destroy him!"

Valerie gasped in horror and then her father held her shoulders as he sincerely said, "Valerie, I know Cujo has put us through tough times, but he doesn't deserve whatever that ghost has planned for him."

Valerie nodded with a serious expression and turned to Danny while she said, "You're right dad. We've gotta save him Danny."

Danny showed a serious expression as he said, "He's probably taken him to the Ghost Zone Prison."

Valerie had a determined expression as she said, "Then let's go get him!"

Danny smiled at Valerie, then Damon walked up to them as he honestly said, "I don't like the idea of you going into the Ghost Zone, but I have a feeling I won't be able to stop you, and Cujo does need your help. So just promise me you'll be careful."

Valerie smiled as she nodded and promised, "I will."

Danny changed to his ghost form and floated with a ghostly tail as he smiled and said, "We'll be okay Mr. Gray. Come on Valerie."

Valerie jumped in the air and her hoverboard materialized underneath her and then she and Danny took off flying while Tucker, Sam, and Damon watched them.

Later in the Ghost Zone

Walker and his guards had Cujo in a room in the Ghost Zone Prison; Cujo was in his giant size as he barked and roared ferociously. Walker's guards were restraining him as they had glowing blue cables wrapped around his neck and legs while they held him in place. The guards struggled to hold Cujo in place as he tried to break free and tried to bite them every now and then.

Walker glared impatiently as he ordered, "Hold him still!"

One of his guards looked at him with a stressed expression as he shouted, "We're trying!"

After a minute they managed to get Cujo to lie on the floor and they all held the cables tightly as Cujo started to whimper. Walker smiled evilly as he walked to Cujo and held up a large metal collar, which he put around Cujo's neck and made it lock up. Cujo then glared his eyes as he finally broke free, causing the cables to snap and the guards to fall down to the floor. He stood up and growled at Walker threateningly, but Walker was not deterred as he pulled out a remote and pushed a button. The collar he put on Cujo then shocked the ghost dog as he let out a loud howl of pain until Walker stopped, and Cujo whimpered in fear.

Walker glared daggers at Cujo as he said, "Sit! Stay!"

Cujo then obeyed Walker as he sat down and whimpered like a sad little puppy dog, but remained in his enormous size.

Walker smiled evilly at Cujo as he said, "That's a good boy. With you I'm gonna be able to find and catch every criminal in the Ghost Zone."

Meanwhile, Danny and Valerie were flying through the Ghost Zone as they saw the prison straight ahead of them.

Danny stared at the prison and turned to Valerie while he said, "There it is. Walker's prison. Remember, we're here to save Cujo from Walker and set him free."

Valerie narrowed her eyes fiercely as she said, "Don't worry Danny! I know what to do! I've got a score to settle with Walker for tricking me earlier!"

Danny smiled eagerly as he said, "That's what I like to hear! Now let's do this!"

They both passed through the walls of the prison and entered the yard, where a bunch of guards faced them and attacked them. Danny made two duplicates of himself, and all three Dannys fired ghost rays that hit three guards and sent them crashing into a wall. Four more guards flew at Valerie, but she made two blasters come out of her pack and rapidly fired purple blasts at them. She hit all four guards and sent them flying through the air as they screamed in pain before hitting the ground.

Walker suddenly came out and smiled evilly at Danny and said, "Well, well, welcome back home ghost kid. How nice of you to come turn yourself in."

Danny and Valerie glared daggers at Walker as Danny angrily said, "Walker! What have you done with Cujo?!"

Walker smiled deviously as he pushed a button the remote and said, "Here boy."

Cujo then burst out through the doors behind Walker and entered the prison yard as he stood next Walker with a tense expression. Walker sadistically pushed a button on the remote and shocked Cujo as he howled in agony while Danny and Valerie watched in horror.

The collar stopped shocking Cujo as he hung his head and Valerie was appalled as she said, "You're hurting him!"

Walker smiled evilly as he said, "This collar forced Wulf to obey me, it works even better on this spectral canine."

Danny glared at Walker as he pointed his left finger at him and hatefully said, "I was right! You're using him as an attack dog!"

Walker glared at Danny before grinning maliciously as he said, "This mutt is now my personal police dog! I'll use him to track and catch every criminal and fugitive in the Ghost Zone! I was going to send him after you, but you saved us the trouble. Attack!"

Cujo looked at Danny and Valerie as he hesitated, while Danny held his hands out and sincerely pleaded, "Cujo don't!"

Cujo kept looking at Danny and Valerie with an uncertain expression, but Walker pushed the button as he angrily said, "I said attack you worthless mutt!"

The collar shocked Cujo for a moment, then he growled and pounced toward Danny and Valerie, who split up. Cujo turned to Valerie as he snarled, but then Danny flew behind him and grabbed his collar and tried to pull it off, to no avail. Walker pushed the button and shocked Cujo again, and while Danny was holding the collar it shocked him too.

Valerie was worried as she yelled, "Danny!"

Danny let go of the collar and then it stopped shocking Cujo as Walker angrily pointed at Danny and said, "Get him you stupid dog!"

Cujo turned and growled at Danny and Danny looked behind Cujo to see Valerie flying behind him, ready to help Danny.

Danny looked at Valerie as he held his hand out and yelled, "Valerie don't!"

She stopped and hovered in place with a worried expression as she said, "But…"

Danny showed a serious expression as he urgently said, "I'll keep Cujo busy, you take down Walker!"

Valerie nodded with a determined expression as she turned and flew toward Walker while Danny turned his attention back to Cujo. Cujo jumped at him and tried to bite him, but Danny avoided his teeth as he floated around him and tried to distract him.

Valerie floated in front of Walker as she glared at him and said, "Remember me?"

Walker glared daggers at Valerie as he stepped forward and threateningly said, "You're in a lot of trouble girl!"

Valerie glared at him with hatred as she said, "You lied to me! No one uses me to hurt my dad or my friends!"

She made a small blaster come out of her left wrist and fired a purple ray at Walker, blasting him and knocking him down.

Walker got back up and angrily said, "You're breaking a lot of rules right now kid!"

He held his left fist out and fired a pink ecto-ray at Valerie, but a blue force-field appeared over her and blocked his ray.

Valerie glared at Walker as she fiercely said, "I don't play by your rules!"

She flew at him at highspeed with her right glove glowing with purple energy as she punched him in the face. He slammed into a wall behind him but gritted his teeth as he angrily took flight and attacked Valerie as he punched her in the stomach. He made her lose balance on her hoverboard but she stayed in the air as she recovered and looked back at Walker. He fired another pink ecto-ray from his hand at her but she flew to the side while he moved his ray and kept firing at her. She flew through a wall and harmlessly passed through it, causing Walker to stop shooting his ray as he angrily looked around for her. Valerie passed through the wall behind Walker and rammed her with her hoverboard, then she shocked him with its Ghost Stinger as he screamed in pain. He got through the pain as he grabbed the ends of her hoverboard, and pried it off his body as he threw her away. Valerie let out cries of fright before she recovered in the air and regained control as she hovered above the ground. She glared at Walker bravely as he came flying at her and tried to punch her, only for her to dodge his fist and fly away with him pursuing her.

Meanwhile Danny was distracting Cujo as he desperately said, "Cujo! It's me! Remember? I gave you your squeaky toy!"

Cujo did not listen to him as he ran at Danny while barking and tried to bite him, but Danny flew out of the way of his mouth.

Danny looked at Cujo again as he said, "Don't let Walker use you!"

Cujo did not listen as he growled and tried to bite Danny again, but Danny avoided his mouth as he flew over Cujo and flew behind him. Cujo immediately turned around and snarled as he started chasing Danny around the prison yard, barking loudly.

Walker's guards were watching with twisted smiles as they enjoyed the show while one said, "Looks like the ghost kid's trying to walk the dog."

The others laughed; meanwhile Valerie kept fighting Walker as he flew after her, but she quickly turned around in the air. Four cubes appeared floating beside Valerie as they fired blasts of purple energy at Walker, but he avoided them all. Valerie flew at him as fast as she could and then her hoverboard dematerialized and she kicked Walker in the face, knocking him down. She kept moving through the air as her hoverboard reappeared beneath her feet and she flew around while Walker got back up. He took flight and Valerie turned around but could not see him behind her, suddenly he dropped down in front of her and stood on her hoverboard.

He grabbed her upper arms as they kept flying and Walker smiled arrogantly as he gloated, "Nice moves kid, but you should never mess with the warden."

Valerie smiled deviously as the red triangle on her chest opened up and fired a purple blast of energy at Walker. He cried in pain as he was blasted off her hoverboard and then she rammed as he got stuck in the middle of it. He glared up at her as she smiled deviously and flew straight at the outer wall of the prison, she slammed Walker into the wall while she harmlessly passed through him and the wall. Walker fell to the ground and glared in hatred before he looked to see Cujo still chasing Danny as he barked loudly. Cujo then jumped on Danny and pinned him to the ground under his front right foot and stared down at him.

Walker watched as he ordered, "Good! Now finish him!"

Danny looked up at Cujo as he desperately yelled, "Cujo no!"

Cujo kept looking down at Danny as he hesitated, not certain what to do as he had a conflicted look on his face.

Walker gritted his teeth and furiously pushed the button on the remote as he yelled, "Do as I say you stupid mutt!"

The collar started shocking Cujo as he howled in agony while Walker watched, but Valerie quickly flew past Walker as she snatched the remote out of his hand.

Walker was shocked as he said, "What?! No!"

Valerie floated in the air near Danny and Cujo as she pushed a button that made the collar stop shocking Cujo. She pushed another button which caused the collar to unlock as it fell off Cujo's neck and to the floor next to Danny. Valerie then tossed the remote in the air and fired a blaster on her right wrist and destroyed it with a single shot.

Cujo was surprised as he raised his head when Valerie floated up to him and said, "Cujo, you're free now!"

Cujo smiled with delight as he panted, got off of Danny, and licked Valerie, leaving a bunch of his glowing green saliva on her suit.

Valerie smiled awkwardly as she said, "Uh, you're welcome."

Walker angrily pointed his right finger at the three of them as he yelled, "Get them!"

Walker's guards came flying at them, yelling, then Danny stood up and grinned as he pointed at them and said, "Cujo, sick em!"

Cujo looked at the ghost guards and glared at them as he snarled viciously and ran at them barking loudly. The guards all screamed in terror and flew away as Cujo started chasing them, destroying things, and marking his territory. Valerie's hoverboard vanished as she stood next to Danny, and they both happily watched Cujo terrorize the guards.

Danny smiled at Valerie as he joked, "Looks like Walker's jail is going to the dogs."

He and Valerie both laughed happily until Walker flew and punched Danny, sending him crashing into a wall.

Walker then grabbed Valerie and lifted her up in his right hand as he angrily said, "You just made a big mistake girl!"

Valerie struggled in his grip as she held his arm and demanded, "Let me go!"

Walker slammed Valerie against a wall as he kept holding her and furiously said, "Get something straight kid! This is MY prison! I make the rules! And just because you're a human doesn't mean I can't hurt you just like every other ghost here!"

Suddenly Cujo came up and bit Walker in the butt as he screamed in pain and dropped Valerie, causing her to fall to the ground. Cujo lifted Walker in the air as he kept holding his pants in his teeth and rapidly shook him from side to side until his pants ripped. Walker went flying through the air as he screamed and hit the ground, he got back up and looked to see a hole in his pants, revealing his underwear that had ghosts on them.

Valerie stood up and Cujo smiled at her as she happily started scratching him while she said, "Thanks Cujo. Good boy."

He smiled at her as he panted and then looked at Walker again as he growled, and Walker nervously said, "Uh, nice dog."

Valerie smiled deviously as she said, "Cujo, go play."

Walker then flew out of the Ghost Zone Prison as he screamed in fear while Cujo chased him, barking ferociously.

Valerie smiled as she watched, then Danny floated to her as he happily said, "Way to go Valerie! You did it!"

Valerie smiled at Danny and pointed her left thumb backwards as she said, "Thanks Danny. Now let's get out of here."

Later at Valerie's house

It was early in the evening, Tucker and Sam were sitting on the couch in the living room as they watched Damon nervously pace the floor.

Tucker smiled confidently as he said, "Chill out Mr. G. Danny and Valerie will be fine."

Sam showed a similar expression as she said, "Yeah. I'm sure they'll be back any minute."

Suddenly Danny phased himself and Valerie into the living room before they both turned solid and floated in the air.

Sam smiled proudly as she said, "See? I told you."

They both landed as Danny turned human while Valerie's suit deactivated and vanished, leaving her in her regular clothes.

Damon looked at them with a relieved expression as he said, "You're back!"

Tucker and Sam joined them as Tucker happily asked, "Did you do it?"

Danny smiled victoriously as he said, "Yep. We stopped Walker and Cujo is now running free in the Ghost Zone."

Sam smiled lovingly at Danny as she said, "Nice work Danny. I knew you could do it."

Danny smiled humbly as he pointed his right thumb at Valerie and said, "It was Valerie who saved the day. She beat Walker and saved me from becoming dog meat."

Damon looked at Valerie as he proudly said, "Great job sweetie."

Tucker smiled flirtatiously as he put his arm around Valerie and said, "That's my girlfriend."

Valerie smiled at everyone as she proudly said, "Thanks everyone. You were all right about Cujo. He may be a ghost but he's still just a dog, and a good dog too. He may big and vicious but he's also kind of sweet and faithful."

Damon nodded in agreement as he smiled happily and proclaimed, "Yep. I've known that for a long time."

Sam looked at Valerie with an impressed smile as she said, "Well, nice job Valerie. I gotta admit you're really getting good at this."

Danny agreed as he proudly said, "Yeah, you're really becoming a great ghost hunter and even a real hero."

Valerie was flattered as she smiled and humbly said, "Thanks guys, but I've only gotten so good at this because I have you guys to help me out."

They all smiled proudly and then Tucker smiled as happily suggested, "I say this calls for a celebration! Who's up for Nasty Burger?"

Danny and Sam smiled as they simultaneously said, "I'm in!"

Valerie smiled at Tucker and then looked at her dad as she happily said, "Sounds good to me! Dad? Can we?"

Damon smiled at her but then pointed his finger at her with a stern expression while he said, "Sure. Go on and have fun. But be back by nine."

They all laughed happily as Danny, Tucker, Sam, and Valerie went out to go have fun together while Damon happily watched them leave.

Author's note: I thought it would be great to see Cujo appear and help Danny and his friends fight some bad guys. I also thought it would be great to see Valerie fight Walker. I also used this episode to share a theory of mine about "Shades of Gray". I do think that Vlad sent the ghost dog in the first place because he knew what it would do and that it would make Valerie a perfect pawn. Anyway, this shows how Valerie is really starting to change and put her hatred of ghosts behind her. She knows not all ghosts are bad and will continue to help Danny fight bad ones and help protect some good ones. Please review.
