6 Incredible Heroes Times 2

Note: I don't want to spoil too much, but I will say that things are about to take a turn for the worse. We'll have some nice dramatic moments in this chapter.

Like Father Like Son

Larry was in his bedroom at his penthouse watching TV as he laid on his bed, despairing over his heartbreak. He changed the channel and the TV showed a news report talking about SFIT winning the Baxcorp Technology Expo with the Energy Amplifier. The TV showed Hiro holding the trophy with his friends around him, and in a fit of rage Larry threw the TV remote at the screen, breaking it.

Larry stood up as he stared into space and angrily ranted, "Hiro Hamada! Everywhere I look he's there, mocking me! This whole week he's done nothing but upstage me and take everything that should be mine! And now he finally takes Violet! He's just better than me at everything and she agrees! He insults me! They both do! Their existence insults me!"

Jordan then entered Larry's bedroom as he asked, "What's going on in here?"

Larry looked at his father as he said, "Sorry dad."

Jordan noticed how upset his son was as he said, "Larry, what's wrong? Aren't you excited for the homecoming dance tomorrow?"

Larry looked away as he sat on his bed and sadly said, "I'm not going to the dance tomorrow."

Jordan then curiously asked, "Why not?"

Larry showed a mixture of anger, jealousy, and sadness as he said, "I went to Violet's house to ask her to the dance but Hiro was there! She asked him to the dance!"

Jordan then became interested as he said, "Hiro? And he said 'yes'?"

Larry nodded as he pulled out his phone and looked at a picture of Violet as he angrily said, "Yeah! They're practically engaged! They're in love with each other! I heard them talking! She never liked me, she was just polite to me because she felt sorry for me! They were both making fun of me together! They think no girl would love me! They both think they're so much better than me!"

Jordan became more and more interested as he said, "Really?"

Larry then angrily deleted his image of Violet as he said, "Yeah! Well you know what? He can have her! I never want to see either of them ever again! I hope they both fall off a cliff!"

Jordan enjoyed his rage and hatred as he smiled and calmly said, "Well son, maybe it's for the best. If Violet didn't like you then she probably wasn't the one for you. If she couldn't see how amazing you are then she's not worth your time. If she wants Hiro instead then that's her loss and not yours."

Larry smiled at his father before looking down and angrily clinching his fists while he said, "Thanks dad, but I'm still angry. Why do they get to have it all? Everyone loves them, they're more successful than me, and they have everything that should be mine! I wish I could make them pay and show them how it feels to lose everything!"

Jordan smiled sinisterly as he happily said, "Larry, this is exactly what I wanted to hear from you."

Larry looked at Jordan with confusion as he said, "It is?"

Jordan smiled as he started walking while he said, "Yes, come with me. I have something that will solve all of your problems."

Larry got out of his bed and followed his father into the living room as he led him to the portrait of the two of them hanging on the wall. Larry was confused when suddenly Jordan moved the portrait to reveal a keypad underneath as he imputed a code. A secret door then opened in the wall and revealed a secret laboratory and Jordan smiled as he looked down at his son.

Larry was shocked as he said, "Whoa!"

Jordan smiled as he led Larry inside and Larry looked around and curiously asked, "Dad, what is all this?"

Jordan smiled ambitiously as he said, "This, son, is our future."

Larry kept looking around but stopped and jumped when he saw a suit of armor in front of him, he recognized it as the armor of the Red Menace and he saw his glider next to it.

Larry looked up at his father in shock as he said, "You're the Red Menace?"

Jordan looked down at Larry as he smiled evilly and turned to the armor while he said, "That's right son. Ever since superheroes became legal again I knew I would have to take matters into my own hands. Back when they were outlawed was the best time, it was when people like us were in our finest hours as we became more successful and got the respect we deserved. But then supers came back and started stealing our spotlight, people praise them as if they're gods and they think they're so much better than us. But now I'm taking the steps I need to change all of that and show everyone who they should be praising instead."

Larry was interested as he looked at his father, still confused as he said, "Wow dad, that's amazing, but how does this help me with my problems?"

Jordan looked back at Larry as he smiled evilly and said, "You see son, the same people who have been giving you trouble have also been doing the same for me."

Larry was confused as he said, "What?"

Jordan walked over to two computer monitors, one showing the Incredibles and the other showing Big Hero 6.

Jordan turned back to Larry with an evil smile as he said, "Larry, one reason Violet and Hiro love each other is because they share the same secret. They're both superheroes. Violet and her family are the Incredibles and Hiro and his friends are Big Hero 6."

Larry's eyes widened in shock as he said, "What?"

Jordan smiled deviously at Larry while he said, "I know it's hard to believe Larry but think about it. Hiro and his friends come from San Fransokyo, and Violet's family does match up with the Incredibles."

Larry started to put things together as he glared and angrily said, "So that's why she chose him instead of me! He's super and I'm not! I'm not good enough for her! Maybe I would be if I had powers, but no she wants a super genius instead of some normal kid like me!"

Jordan smiled deviously as he said, "That's right son. Like all supers they think they're better than everyone because of their powers and gifts. They do amazing things with those powers so they can steal the limelight from those who truly deserve it, us. But I have a plan that will change all of that."

Larry looked at his father as he curiously said, "What is it?"

Jordan smiled maniacally as he said, "For the past month I've secretly been working on something that will show the world how inferior supers are to people like us. There is only one thing I need to make it work and Hiro has just given it to me. Tomorrow I will put my brilliant plan into action and I want you to help me."

Larry became interested as he asked, "How?"

Jordan led Larry over to three large bins full of what looked like Hiro's Microbots, and behind the bins were two mechanical boots and gloves. On the table behind these was a black and white Oni mask that had sharp white teeth, a creepy smile, and white horns on the top.

Jordan smiled deviously as he said, "This is something I've been working on in my spare time."

Larry then curiously asked, "What is it?"

Jordan ran his hand through one of the bins and held a few Microbots in his hand as he said, "These are a modified version of Hiro's Microbots. I managed to retrieve a few of them and designed more with some adjustments to meet my own specifications. They gather of the user's body to form sort of a powerful suit of armor that can change shape based on the user's will. In order to control them properly you have to have to be sure to wear these gloves and boots so that they'll form over your body correctly. In order to control them you have to wear this mask with the neural transmitter in them. With your mind you can control the Microbots around you to make them move and change shape to your liking."

Larry was amazed as he stared at the mask and said, "That's sick!"

Jordan looked at Larry as he smiled and said, "When I designed this I thought I designed it for myself, but now I see that it is meant for you."

Larry was speechless as he looked at his father and asked, "Me?"

Jordan smiled ambitiously as he said, "Yes! Join me in my plan and together we'll soar to greater heights than ever and you'll have revenge on all who have wronged you. We'll take our rightful place in history and finally get the respect that we deserve. We'll rule together as father and son and you will never again be overlooked by anyone ever again."

Larry let out a hushed exclamation of wonder as he looked back at the mask and said, "Wow!"

Jordan smiled confidently as he looked at his son and said, "So, what do you say son?"

Larry narrowed his eyes as he clinched his fists and said, "I say I'm done being humiliated by people who think they're heroes!"

Jordan smiled maniacally as he said, "Good."

Larry glanced around in thought as he angrily said, "I followed all of the rules, I played fair, and what did it get me? Rejection from some 'incredible' girl who chose some super genius over me!"

Jordan showed disdain as he said, "Two people who look down on you and think that they are so much better."

Larry stepped closer to the boots, gloves, and mask while he spitefully said, "Yeah! Everyone looks at treats them like they're a beautiful power couple, thinking they're so great together and that they want to be like them. But when they look at me they just see a pathetic loser because I'm just ordinary! The only thing they respect is power! They want power? I'll show them power!"

Jordan liked where this was going as he watched his son and asked, "That's the spirit. What do you want Larry?"

Larry then started putting on the boots and gloves while he said, "I want what I deserve! I want to make my mark! I want to show the world who I am!"

Jordan nodded with an evil smile as he said, "Yes."

Larry took the mask off the stand and stared at it as he said, "I'll pay whatever price to get what is mine! I have nothing to lose thanks to Hiro and Violet!"

Jordan's evil smile grew bigger as he said, "That's right."

Larry turned back to his father as he turned the mask around and said, "I'll show them once and for all that I'm the one they should be praising. I'll teach Hiro and Violet to respect my greatness and make them sorry they ever rejected me!"

Jordan kept smiling evilly as he anxiously cinched his fists and said, "Yes Larry!"

Larry then put the mask over his face and stared forward as he said, "I'll destroy them, their friends, their families! Everything they have I will take away! Just like they took everything from me!"

All of the Microbots then came out of the bins and gathered around Larry's body as they formed a large bulky body around him. He looked like a large monster made of Microbots with large arms and legs and a huge upper body. The Microbots covered almost every part of Larry's body, the only part that was not covered was his mask as he stared forward.

Jordan smiled at Larry as he said, "I was hoping you'd say this Larry. How do you feel now?"

Larry's mask rose up to show his face as he smiled happily and said, "I feel great! For the first time ever I actually feel like a winner! No one can take this away from me!"

Jordan kept smiling at Larry as he said, "That's right son. You've finally unlocked your true potential and you're ready to show it to the world."

Larry smiled maniacally as he turned and looked at a lab table while he said, "Yes! I'm ready to show everyone what I'm capable! I'll make Hiro and Violet pay for all the pain I endured!"

He then rose his left arm made of Microbots and smashed the table with his fist, severely denting and misshaping it.

Jordan had a twisted smile on his face as he stared at Larry and proudly said, "That's my boy."

Larry looked back at his father as he eagerly said, "So, when do we take them down?!"

Jordan raised his finger as he said, "Patience Larry. We'll have our fun very soon, but first there is still more to do. If we're going to do this we're going to have to enlist some more help."

Larry was confused as he said, "Help?"

Jordan smiled deviously as he said, "Yes, we need to recruit some allies who can help us in our war against these supers, and I have the perfect people in mind."

Larry kept listening as he said, "Okay."

Jordan smiled evilly as he pointed at Larry and said, "And Larry, there's something I need you to do tomorrow."

Larry was interested as he curiously said, "What?"

Jordan smiled evilly as he said, "I need you to retrieve the final component for my plan to succeed. You already know what it is and where to find it. Taking it should also be sure to get the supers' attention, especially Hiro and Violet."

Larry smiled maniacally as he said, "Gladly!"

Larry and Jordan both smiled evilly at each other as they thought about their plan that would destroy their enemies and get them glory.

Author's note: This chapter was shorter than my previous two chapters and it didn't turn out as good as I hoped. But now you know who the Red Menace is and you know what Larry is going to do. I'm sure all of you have a pretty good idea where this is going. This is my last chapter for a while since I'm going on vacation. I won't get back until next week. You'll have to stick with these chapters. Please review.
