The ventilation system was his only chance of making it around unspotted. He goes back into the office, downloading the blueprints of the vent system – remembering Roxy's tricks on how to dismantle the security – onto his Faz-Watch. The blueprints will be his map to get around. Afterwards, he takes a flashlight from the closet, leaving the office and into the nearest vent.

The first step was to reach the employee's area. He ventures forward, climbing one way or sliding down the other. As the view outside the vent moves from bright lights to gloomy, he knew he was moving in the right step. An opening lead into the staff kitchen. He steps down, minding his limping leg. In the outdated kitchen, he notes a fire escape map next to the fridge, outlining the entire area. He scans the map into his watch and scurries down the hall, searching room to room for his dad.

A room with cobwebs and dirt held stacks of old folders. A disturbing stack of papers revealed a blueprint of the Pizzaplex built on the scraps of the former location. Along with complaints of refilling the concrete to find new cracks has him conclude that the foundation is unstable. Like it's ready to collapse at any moment. To build a new momentum on top of the former, staffing robots in lien of humans, and this unnecessary amount of security – to keep prying eyes out.

Another folder reveals unanswered complaints to HQ from employees. He takes the folders, tucking it under his arm and retreating back to the kitchen. Hiding underneath the cabinets, he uses his flashlight to read them one by one.

Then he spots something from Vanessa:

-/-/20XX

HQ,

As a longtime employee of Fazbear Entertainment, my loyalty is forever indebted to you. Not once, did it ever occurred to me that I'll be logging a form of complaint, but this must be addressed in the highest form of secrecy.

I have been experiencing major headaches. One minute, I'm fine, doing my job with no complaints. Then, my mind convulses, and I don't feel myself. Like someone is controlling me. Telling me what to do and where to go. You've told me to address Colleen on this. And I've obliged since she's been like a second mother to me. I trusted her advice, her judgement.

She'd said that I had a calling, and that voice was leading me, urging me to that calling. That same calling that lead the two of us driving and spotting a man and his son. Colleen had me dress as a man and approach the father to offer a chance of a lifetime. It riddle me with guilt to see his eyes light up with hope. I wanted to tell him to run, to have the cops arrest me, to free me from this torment. The voice silences me from further speaking. I came back to the car and Colleen was pleased. Said that the boy was the perfect match. It was only a matter of time. The final attempt was in motion. Soon she'll make her long-awaited dreams come to pass.

I should trust her but being around her makes me not trust her. She's not the woman that my mother has known from childhood. I'm not me when I'm around her…

The kitchen door swings open in a rage of fury, stopping him from reading further. Peeking through the hole, an angry Vanessa mumbles obscenities. The fridge opens and closes before she slumps into a seat, drinking a bottle of soda.

After another sip, she sighs and spoke. "You can quit hiding Gregory; I can see you in the cabinet."

Crap.

"Come out of there."

He does in his own bit of fury, ready to hit the woman with the flashlight. Vanessa doesn't look at him.

"You triggered the alarm."

"I did."

"You knew I was in the security office."

"I did."

"And you didn't say anything."

"No."

"Where is Freddy? What did you do to them?"

"Kid, Freddy and the gang are worth millions of dollars and have some access to the highest technology that hackers are after. A security breach causes them to go auto-polit and into safety mode. If there's a physical breach-in, they can attack. We've had it happened before."

He grimaces as he wonders if Freddy was trying to warn him beforehand. The thought of his friends trying to hurt him scared him. At least they're safe.

He holds up her complaint. "What is she planning? Where is my dad? And the other missing children? Are you the killer bunny? Did you kill them?"

"Whoa, easy there tiger, one question at a time."

"Where is my dad?!" He yells, slamming the paper in front of her. "Where is he?"

"I…I can't say."

"Can't say or won't say."

"Can't say because I don't know." She admits. "Every time, I try to stop her and this voice, it stops me. Telling me to obey. It's like she has some hold on me with some demon from beyond." Another sip. "You shouldn't have come here Gregory. Why didn't you leave?"

"To save my dad."

"And risking your life in the process. She looks for children like you. One with broken lives, broken homes, a throwaway of society. She takes kids that most wouldn't miss if there's no record of them. To satisfy her master and her own personal happiness."

"Colleen?"

"Vanny." She drags out, rubbing her temples. Gregory was even more confused which angered him more.

"You're lying." He goes to hit her, but she stops by grabbing both of his wrists. "You're lying! How could you! He trusted you! The both of you!"

"I'm sorry." She says remorseful "I wish I can help you…" She stops midsentence and laughs. Startling him, he backs away and she covers her mouth.

From down the hall she hears. "Vanessa! You better be down here?"

"You need to go." Vanessa jumps up, looking around frantically. "How did you get here? The vents? Go back through the vents."

"What's going on?"

"Go!" She urges him to the vent. "Get out of here and take the vents back to the main lobby." She presses a few buttons on her watch. "Freddy will meet you there and you stay with him and the others until six. Then you're going to leave here and never return."

"Vanessa…" At that point, a blank expression remains on the woman's face. She falls to the ground and holds her head. "Gregory go…"

He climbs into the vent, knowing that whatever Vanessa had been holding back now consumed her. Colleen's voice was heard. "I heard noises."

"I was talking to myself. I thought I saw the boy, but it was just an illusion."

"Well, sitting around isn't doing you any good. Breaktime is over, get back out there and find that boy!"

"Yes ma'am." Replied an emotionless Vanessa as she leaves the room, terrifying Gregory. He moves back through the vents until he reaches one of the openings overlooking the lobby. Moments later, Freddy is heard running through. "Freddy!" Gregory calls, kicking open the vent door. It was a long way down…

"Jump down Gregory!" He calls and with a quick intake of breath, Gregory closes his eyes and lets go. How he was glad to feel metal before being set onto his feet. "You're shaking."

"Freddy…Colleen…" He couldn't get the words out.

"Let's get you somewhere safe." Freddy's hatch open and Gregory climbs inside. "Six o'clock is but a while away."

"I can't leave, not like this. Colleen, she has Vanessa under this weird mind control. I, I tried to figure out what was going on. Colleen is behind all of this. We have to stop her. People's lives are in danger!"

Freddy had intended to respond, at the same time, Chica's running at them – a different expression worn on her face. What was once a cheerful and carefree female chicken with a love for pizza had been replace by true terror. "Chica?"

"Where's Gregory? Did you find him?"

"I'm here." The child calls from inside. Chica lets out a terrified gawk. "Freddy, get him out of here now!"

At that moment, Monty's and Roxy's voice could be heard in the distance. At first, one would think they had gotten into an argument. The wolf and alligator running towards Freddy at full speed, like two kids rushing to tattletale on the other.

Behind them, a swarm of robots pursue them, though they were not the security bots that roamed the halls. They bear the same model appearance to their counterparts, excluding a rusty texture, and creepy smile drawn on their blank faces. They also have black tear streaks and have "IN YOUR DREAMS" written on their chests. The most disturbing part were their eyes. Glowing bright white yet dark and lifeless.

"Gah, what are those things?"

"We're not staying to find out." Freddy and Chica run to the lobby exit, with more of those demonic robots approaching from all ends of the hall.

Freddy takes Gregory out, putting him in a charging station. "Stay here."

"Freddy!"

"Under any circumstances, do not move from here!" He orders. The charging port closes in time for Freddy to stand by Chica. Monty and Roxy rejoins them as an entire army surrounds them. "Well, isn't this remarkable." A figure descends from the stairway – the voice of a woman, the outline of the bunny suit.

Vanny…

"A small pathetic team of talentless robots against an army of my long-life creation. Nightmarionnes, design to tear a human being in seconds. What makes you think you four will stand a chance against my minions?" She teases with a sinister laugh. "You don't! So just hand over the child and maybe I won't let them tear you completely apart. After all, what's a show without its stars?"

"Over our dead bodies!" Monty roars, charging at Vanny.

"That will be arranged." She pushed a button, allowing multiple of Nightmarionne bots to pile on the alligator viciously.

"Monty!" The three animatronics rush to help their friend, only to have their own pile of bots jumping on them. At first, they seem to hold their own, knocking down three bots at a time. But Vanny was messing with them, she had to be, because after a while, she orders. "Disassemble all of them."

The animatronics are held down by some nightmarionne bots whilst others pounce, ripping up their exoskeletons.

"Gregory…" He nervously glances at Vanny, who waving at him. Inside that mysterious mask laid a woman snickering at his turmoil of his friends' destruction. "Come out to play Gregory, your friends need you. Ha-ha-ha-ha!"

Freddy told him to stay put regardless of what happens. The charging port in theory maybe his only chance of surviving until six. The morning shift will reopen the PizzaPlex and he could escape. There's no chance of Vanny getting away with trying to murder him, not unless she wishes to rid of all the employees that came about and raising red flags. No, she was a bit cleverer than that.

A scream startles Gregory seeing Chica has her beak violently yanked from her mouth. His friends were fighting for their lives, and it would seem that the more they did, the more aggressive the demonic bots tore them apart.

He couldn't watch anymore. "No! Stop it! Leave them alone!"

"Come save your friends, Gregory." The rabbit snickers and he had enough, pressing the escape latch and into the lobby.

"Stop! Stop! Don't kill them, please!" At once, the bots disengaged, horrifying Gregory at the state of his friends.

Chica lost her beak, revealing the lower mechanism that makes her beak move in the process and gains many cracks and holes all over body. The shell of her left arm is missing entirely, revealing her Endoskeleton's robotic arm out in the open.

Roxy was missing both of her eyes and a shattered casing, chipping off the remnants of what was once a detailed rock n' roll fox.

Monty, consider the toughest of them, his jaw cracked in two and his lower body missing. His eyes popped out of place and one of his arms disemboweled.

Freddy's cavity hatch was ripped and his lower jaw missing with one of his calves torn off.

Oil was dripping from all of their faces.

Gregory hurried to his friends when a bot grabs him, and a sharp pinch ejects into his neck. The child gives out a scream of pain before falling unconscious.
