The second morning when I wake up， the sun already up. I stretch myself . We have a break today so I want to go somewhere fun. I leave the room and encounter Alan right away.

"How are you doing ?" Alan asks

"I am good . Thank you Alan." I rest my head on his arm

"Delia! Do you want to go shopping today with me and Tori?" Elizabeth runs toward me

I nod at her . I do want to go somewhere else except in compound .

"I want to ." I smile at Elizabeth

"Let's go." Elizabeth holds my hand." Tori is waiting. Oh did you have breakfast yet?"

"I am not hungry." I shake my head

I look around . Alan already leaves and I sigh with relief . I can't let other people know that I am meeting him secretly.

We run upstair to the tattoo store . Tori is talking with Sasha

"Oh you two are here already. Sasha is also coming with us ." Tori stands up." Sasha wants to buy you something."

"No you shouldn't. It's fine Sasha ." I hug her .

"You are my future sister in law so I want to get you something."Sasha sticks her tongue out

I am shocked . How did she knows that I like her brother

"I and your brother are just friends . We aren't this close yet." I lower my head

"I know that my brother likes you. When you faint， he was going crazy." Sasha rolls her eyes." I never see my brother was this worried before ."

I feel happy. We are leaving now . We exist the compound through a dark tunnel. Finally we are on the roof top. I feel free and happy.

"What do you want to buy today? Tonight is my brother's birthday." Sasha smiles

"I may buy your brother something but I don't know what he likes . I know how to bake cake and cookie." I shrug

"However abnegation doesn't eat those . How did you know ?" Sasha is curious

Curiosity isn't prohibited for dauntless but they are generally not curious

"We baked them but we don't eat them. We give to factionless." I explain

"So selfless uhhh." Tori giggles

The train is coming and we start jogging. Abby now is also here .

"I want to go as well." Abby smirks." Alan invited me to the party as well."

"My brother invites everyone not only you." Sasha folds her arms

"However Delia isn't special for him then." Abby leans into me ." He doesn't like you."

We get on the train. I sit beside Sasha . Sasha rests her head on my shoulder

"Don't listen to her . My brother of course likes you." Sasha sighs." It is just being too close with you during training is not safe for you."

"Why is that ?" I ask

"It is because jealousy may lead other people to kill you." Sasha shrugs

I clinch my fist . Why people will get jealous if I get closer with Alan.

"They will think your rank will be in my brother's flavour ." Sasha says

When we get to the mall， we jump off the train. We run as fast as we can until Abby can no longer catches us .

"Delia， it is not necessary that you buy an expensive gift for my brother . My brother said to me and our mom once that you will be his best gift." Sasha says in lower voice

"When did he say it?" I am curious

"The day when he came back to dauntless under max command." Sasha giggles." He is jealous ."

I suddenly see a dress which hang on the wall. It is silky red and the shoulders are exposed

"I like that one ."

I point at the dress . Tori nods at me . We walk inside the store

"Can I try on this one?" I ask

"Sure ." The server takes down the dress." Here you are ."

I go into the fitting room and put on the dress . When I come out， Ted is here already. He looks surprised

"So beautiful." Ted opens his eyes wide

"Yes she is so pretty." Sasha claps her hand."do you like it."

"Yes . I want to give Alan a surprised . I will wear this to the party tonight." I am shy." Hope he likes it"

Sasha pays for it. I don't really want her to do it but she insists doing it.

"If you like something tell me， then I will buy for you. I also need to give you a gift ." I wrap my arm around her

In the end， I bought a belt for alan. With the time past so fast， it is dinner time . I put on the dress . Today many other factions people will come because max invited them. I put on some make up and perfume .

I have Alan's gift in my hand .

"So crazily beautiful." Eric exclaims

"Thanks Eric ." I smile at him

Maybe Eric isn't as bad as Abby said . I don't really trust Abby anymore .

"Let's go."

We arrive at cafeteria . Alan is surrounded with people .

"Delia?" When he sees me ， he pushes the crowded people away

He walks in front of me . I can't look at him.

"Why you wear so little." Alan takes off his shirt and puts it on me

"It is a surprised for you. Sasha bought it for me ." I lower my head." This is your gift. I know that it is not expensive but I don't know ."

"So cheap." Linda and Abby shake their head

Alan takes the belt. He walks toward two girls and slap on each of their face

"I love whatever she gives to me ." Alan walks back to me." I need one more gift."

"What?" I am shocked

"You know what? You will give it to me after you finish your training." Alan leans into me" you."

I shiver a little. He wants me ? I want him too but now it is not time .

"Alright， happy birthday Alan ." My mom comes and she is smiling at us

"Thank you ms prior ." Alan nods at her

"How is my daughter doing ?" Mom giggles

I and Alan look at each other . Alan stands in front of me

"Delia is doing wanderful job. She won all her fight and she is ranking high." Alan says proudly.

"Good . Thank you." Mom turns around and leaves

I stand beside Alan. Alan takes out his hand

"Can I invite you for a dance ?" Alan says

"Sure ." I give him my hand

He brings me to the centre of the room. Max is surprisingly drinking with Sasha

"Do you think that max is having an affair with your sister ?" I ask

"He has girlfriend already. That is an affair ." Alan looks at four

"Who is it?" I say .

I don't know what does he means? Does he means that max has a girlfriend but she is already married?

"Evelyn." Alan sighs

"That's four's mom." I am shocked

"Yeah ， she is already pregnant. I don't know ." Alan shakes his head

He looks tired . I help him to sit down .

"Two cup of wines please."

"You can drink?" Alan frowns

"A little but not too much." I say

Server brings two cups of wine . I shake the cup slowly.

"You know how to drink it? Who taught you that?" Alan seems nervous

"Jason ， the leader of erudite. Why didn't he come today?" I tilt my head

"You wish that he will be here? Then I need to go."'Alan stands up

I grab his arm . I shake my head .I don't want him to misunderstand it.

"No alan please you are seeing things wrong. He likes me and I know it but I refused him." I am about to cry

"You are sure the most beautiful girl among five factions." Alan hissed ." I am not happy about it."

"Are you jealous ? Mr Davis ." I smirk

Alan forces a kiss on my lips . I am staring at him

"You know it." Alan brushes my hair away.

"Alright then." I look at Linda ." She is here ."

I stand on my tiptoes and kiss him. He wraps me in his arms.

"Delia!" Linda is screaming.

"Someone said that I am too close with Amar and now he is kissing her ." Abby lifts her chin.

"I allow them to do that." Max stands beside Abby." Alan waited for too long."

I stick my tongue in and Alan holds me up .

"Alan that's enough." Max laughs so loud."her mom is still here ."

I look at my mom. She is beside max . I jump off Alan's arm and rush out of the room.

"Are you alright?" Jason asks me

Beatrice and Maria are with him. They trusted him too.

"I am fine . So embarrassed ." I roll my eyes.

"What is happening?" Maria helps to sit down

"Nothing. Just embarrassed ." I say

Alan comes out. He hands me a piece of pie

"Here ." Alan says

"Apple pie. I like it." I take it.

"You like apple pie?" Alan sits down beside me." Are they your sisters?"

I nod at alan . Maria and beatrice look at me

"Is he your first body guard ?" Beatrice asks

"Yes however he left after you guys just born so he never see you guys before ." I explain

"Right okay. " Maria seems to understand how .

Alan seems nervous . He holds my hand .

"Your hand is so cold." I hold his hand too.

"It's fine Delia ." Alan says

"Are you two together now ?" Beatrice is curious

Alan looks at me . I look at Alan .

"Do you want me to be your brother in law?" Alan is joking

"If our sister likes you then we are okay . It depends on how much you like our sister ." Maria says

"I understand now . I will try my best."
