Hey, everyone. Welcome back to Chapter 27 of this fanfiction. Now before we get into it, I have some news to tell you. I officially start working next week, so the update might be going back to only being once a week on Sundays. Then again, this is a new job for me so I'm not sure if it will be just as strenuous as my previous job or not. Nevertheless, I will finish this story, hopefully by the end of the year.

Now, let's get right to it.

Chapter 27: The Duty of a Father and Mother

Eve's Heart

On top of a hill with a shaded tree, Rin was having a nice picnic with her Yuya and they were cuddling together. "I wish this moment can last forever." Rin sighed as she laid on Yuya's chest.

"We have more moments coming up." Yuya flirted.

"Oh, what kind?" Rin asked.

"Well…" Yuya was gonna kiss Rin.

"Sweet! Free food!"

Yuya and Rin jumped as they saw Serena, Ruri and Adam sit at the blanket and eat the food in front of them.

"How did you find this place?!" Yuya exclaimed.

"Sweetie, you took me here on our first date." Ruri said.

"I did no such thing!" Yuya argued. "Please, Rin. Don't listen to them."

"It doesn't bother me. You love all of us, don't you?" Rin shrugged it off.

"No, I care about you and only you!" Yuya argued.

"Hey, Yuya. Can I get some mustard on this? It's a little dry." Serena held up a sandwich.

"Go away!" Yuya swatted the sandwich out of Serena's hands.

"My sandwich." Serena pouted.

"Okay, that's too far!" Rin kneed Yuya hard in the stomach, causing him to turn into a grotesque monster which made Adam stab him.

"So, you knew he was an illusion the whole time?" Ruri asked.

"Not the whole time, it was only when I suggested talking to you all about well, we all feel the same way, we haven't been really secretive about it." Rin admitted.

"True." Ruri admitted.

"I'm not ashamed to be open about it." Serena said.

"You have no shame at all?" Ruri pointed out.

"Thank you." Serena thanked.

"While I don't enjoy a good comedic moment, there is still one more of you to save. And she is sure to be the hardest of all." Adam said.

"Yeah, Yuzu is definitely jealous of us." Rin admitted.

"What's to be jealous of? Yuya loves her just as much as he loves us." Serena said.

"I think that's the problem." Ruri said. "Yuzu has known Yuya ever since they were kids. Now some girls with the same face as hers appears and they get closer to him in a short amount of time compared to her. She was probably hoping that he would give her extra love, but it's mostly been towards you."

"So…it's my fault…" Serena looked upset. "But I didn't mean to…"

"We know, Serena." Rin said. "I will admit that I was jealous of you and Yuya, but I can really see how much you both love each other.

"We all want Yuya to be happy." Ruri admitted. "And we know whoever he picks is gonna make him happy. And we should be supportive."

"Come, we must hurry. I can feel Eve getting stronger, your friends might not have much time left." Adam ordered.

Asuka vs Eve

Eve LP: 7600, Hand: 0
Field: Scale 1 Mystic Hell Gate, Scale 12 Mystic Heaven Gate, Supreme Queen Dragon Eve (ATK: 4000, LV: 12, PS: 1), Supreme Queen Dragon Flower (ATK: 2500, LV: 8, PS: 4), Supreme Queen Dragon Moon (ATK: 2800, LV: 8).

Asuka LP: 2000, Hand: 0
Field: Cyber Fallen Angel Samael (ATK: 6000, LV: 10), Continuous Trap: Shield of Fallen Angels.

Asuka trembled as she clenched her fist as her dark aura continued to get powerful. "I won't forgive you, Eve!" Asuka sent out shockwaves, but it didn't bother Eve at all.

"Then show me your power, Supreme Queen. Not that you can defeat me." Eve smiled. "Because he is out of the Duel, his Monster's effect that negated mine is done, so I have my full power back."

"My turn! Draw!" Asuka drew her card.

"I activate the Equip Magic: Cyber Blessing! I can activate this card by banishing a Cyber Angel in my Graveyard! I banish Cyber Angel Vishnu to equip this card to Samael!" The Cyber Angel's spirit appeared above Samael and he was given a strong light.

"Battle! Cyber Fallen Angel Samael, attack Supreme Queen Dragon Flower!" Samael charged towards Flower.

"You fool…" Eve smiled. "Supreme Queen Dragon Flower's effect activates! Once per turn, it cannot be destroyed in battle and all battle damage is converted to restoring my Life Points!"

"At this moment, Cyber Blessing's effect activates! When the equipped monster battles, it negates the effects of all monsters with Attack Points lower than the banished monster!" Asuka revealed.

"What?!" Eve gasped.

"This is a Magic Card's effect, so you can't negate it!" Asuka shouted. "Strike that dragon down! Sword of Samael!"

Samael raised his sword and beheaded the dragon. Samael then threw his sword towards Eve and struck her in the chest, making her scream in pain.

Eve LP: 7600→4100

Samael quickly removed the sword and returned to Asuka's side. "After it destroys a monster, Cyber Blessing's effect lets me draw one more card." Asuka drew her card. "I set one card and end my turn!"

Eve LP: 4100, Hand: 0
Asuka LP: 2000, Hand: 0

"Damn you…how dare you damage me!" Eve cursed.

"You deserve it after what you did to Jonouchi!" Asuka called out. "I'm not gonna let you get away with your actions anymore!"

"I just want to be reunited with my love! What is so wrong with that?!" Eve was extremely frustrated.

"Spare me your sob story! You don't know what real love is!" Asuka growled. "Real love doesn't come from sacrificing somebody else to make yourself happy! Real love comes from being willing to risk your life to protect somebody you care about! You're nothing but a conceitful, self-illusioned bitch trapped in the past!"

"Why you…My turn! Draw!" Eve drew her card. "I activate the Magic Card: Supreme Queen Resource! I draw two cards for every Supreme Queen monster on my field! I have two monsters, so I draw a total of four cards!" Eve drew four cards.

"I activate the Continuous Magic: Supreme Queen Power Restore! As long this card is on the field, only Supreme Queen monsters can have their Attack or Defense Points changed, any other monsters are returned to their original value!" Eve shouted and Samael felt his power boost going away.

Samael (ATK: 6000→3000)

"Battle! Supreme Queen Dragon Moon, attack Cyber Fallen Angel Samael! At this moment, Moon's effect has her Attack Points increase by all Fusion Monsters on my field!"

Moon (ATK: 2800→6800)

"Now, die! Supreme Queen of the Gentle Darkness!" Eve shouted as Moon unleashed her breath attack on Samael.

"Asuka…take care of the others." Jonouchi's words echoed in Asuka's head.

"I won't fall that easily!" Asuka shouted. "Counter Trap: Governor General Permission! When a Cyber Fallen Angel other than Cyber Fallen Angel Azazel is involved in battle, by sending Cyber Fallen Angel Azazel from my hand or deck to the Graveyard, I can grant that Cyber Fallen Angel his monster effect!" Asuka discarded Azazel and Azazel appeared in front of Samael and he gave an approval nod.

"Azazel's Monster Effect! If there's a monster that has more Attack Points than him on the field, the Attack Points become the same as that monster plus 100!" Asuka shouted. "Samael, use Azazel's power!" Samael felt his enhanced power come back.

Samael (ATK: 3000→6900)

"Counterattack, Sword of Samael!" Samael beheaded Supreme Queen Moon Dragon Moon and damaged Eve.

Eve LP: 4100→4000

"Alright, Asuka defeated another Supreme Queen!" Rua smiled.

"If she keeps it up, she'll defeat Eve!" Rio smiled.

"Guess your power as a Supreme Queen is weak compared to mine!" Asuka smiled confidently.

"Heheheh…Hahahaha…HAHAHAHAHA!" Eve laughed manically.

"What's so funny?" Asuka asked.

"You idiot! I wanted you to destroy Moon!" Eve smiled. "Now that you've done that, I've won this Duel!"

Eve's Heart

"Okay, two down, one to go. We got this. We're working. We're moving. We're in the zone, we're grooving." Serena was jumping around and dancing.

"Why are you dancing?" Ruri has never seen Serena do this.

"This is how I ease my anxiety." Serena said. "I mean we're one step closer to saving you and maybe getting your bodies back as well as the dragons."

"Well, Serena. Saving Yuzu is not gonna be easy." Rin said.

"Oh, please. She's probably like you two were on a date somewhere. We just got to put on the charm, Yuya will do something horrendous, Yuzu will snap out of her senses, and I get back to the Duel, kick Eve's ass, get your bodies and the dragons back and then we go and see if Yuya has already defeated Leo." Serena said.

"They're not on a date." Adam spoke.

"What makes you say that?" Serena asked.

Adam pointed to a park where Yuya was in a tuxedo and Yuzu was wearing a bride's dress. A wedding march was being played as Yuya and Yuzu were under a white marble archway.

"This is perfect." Serena said.

"How?" Ruri asked.

"We crash the wedding, Yuya throws a temper tantrum, Yuzu will see right through it and we're done with this. I'll go first!" Serena ran in.

"She actually has a point. Let's do this!" Rin ran in after Serena.

"For the greater good." Ruri ran in.

"I object!" Serena shouted loudly as she started kicking over pots of flowers and stopping on them.

"I object too!" Rin flipped over a table full of presents, with multiple fragile gifts spilling out.

"I object third!" Ruri picked up a plate of food and she threw it right into Yuzu's face.

"Nice, Ruri!" Serena and Rin joined Ruri and they started throwing food everywhere with some hitting Yuzu and some hitting Yuya. Soon enough, the entire ceremony was covered in broken gifts, crushed flowers and a bride a groom covered in food.

"I was expecting a powerful speech but they literally crashed the wedding." Adam was sitting on a bench while eating a chicken wing.

"What do you say to that, huh? Yuya?" Serena panted.

"Yeah, Yuya. Bet you're pretty upset." Rin added.

"But you won't hurt us. You're too nice." Ruri said.

Yuya removed a pie from his face. "You three…" Yuya spoke darkly. "Hahaha… I'm so glad that you all made it!" Yuya was really happy.

"Huh?" Serena, Ruri and Rin were caught off guard.

"I got to admit, I was worried when you didn't RSVP, but now it makes sense. You wanted to surprise us! Now we can redo the wedding with you all included!" Yuya smiled.

"Oh, you girls make me so happy." Yuya went up to each of them and gave them kisses on the cheeks, making them blush. "So, babe. Can we get them in on the wedding? Please?"

Yuzu removed the plate from her face and she had an angry look. "Yuya…do you know what a marriage means?"

"Uh…people who love each other so much and they build a future together?" Yuya sweat dropped.

"How many people, Yuya?" Yuzu growled.

"Uh…two?" Yuya stepped back from fear.

"That's right. Two. Two! Two! Two!" Yuzu stomped towards Yuya. "This was supposed to be our wedding! You and me! You're supposed to love me and only me!"

"Y-Yuzu, your kind of freaking me out here." Yuya felt his knees buckle.

"What's going on? I thought Yuya was supposed to be the bad guy." Serena was confused.

"We told you, it's different for Yuzu." Ruri scolded.

"But not this different." Rin argued.

"I see…" Adam walked up to them as he was eating pieces of the wedding cake. "It seems that this one stems from Yuzu's insecurities of being the perfect girl for Yuya and to have him be loyal only to her."

"Yuzu, I can't deny how I'm feeling. I…love them like I love you." Yuya admitted.

"No, Yuya! You're suppose to only love me! That's how marriage works! You can't love more than one girl!" Yuzu whined.

"I'm sorry…I know it's wrong…but I can't help it…" Yuya admitted.

"Then we'll fix it!" Yuzu slapped Yuya hard with her fan. "I'll beat some sense into you!" Yuzu kept hitting Yuya hard.

"Ow! Ow! Stop! You know I can't fight you!" Yuya tried to shield himself but Yuzu kept hitting him.

"Hey, stop!" Serena tackled Yuzu to the ground and away from Yuya.

"Serena, you're gonna make it worse!" Ruri argued.

"No, this is the right way." Adam put his arm in front of Ruri and Rin to prevent them from interfering.

"Yuzu, if you really love Yuya, if you really want him to be happy, then you have to accept how he really feels about us!" Serena yelled.

"It's not fair!" Yuzu slapped Serena in the face. "I've known him the longest!" Yuzu kept slapping Serena. "I was there to comfort him when Yusho abused him! I Dueled Yusho for him! We…we had a spark…it's supposed to only be me…" Yuzu started to cry.

"Don't stop, Yuzu…" Serena panted, her cheeks really red from Yuzu's slapping. "We're listening…"

"I've seen how he interacts with all three of you." Yuzu admitted. "He liked it when Rin kissed him on the cheek. He was overwhelmed with happiness when he found Ruri was still alive. He gave you a matching pendant."

"Yuzu, he loves you too. Remember after he won against Mieru." Ruri said. "You two shared a spark."

"And you did fight with him, but you both made up. You have to remember that." Serena added.

"And after Zero Reverse, he stood by you to help remind you of what Dueling was all about." Rin added.

"You both made a promise to change your Duel School after the war was over." Adam spoke. "You promised to change it into a school that honored his parents and his master." Adam saw that since he was inside Yuya at the time.

"I know…I know…but…one guy with multiple girlfriends. It's…it's just wrong. It's disgusting." Yuzu said.

"It's only disgusting if there's no true love in it." Adam said. "I can feel from you all how much you love Yuya and Yuya feels the same as well. Love is love, if you feel it's right, then it's right. And if others can't agree with that, who cares about them. They only attack because they are bigots who can never achieve anything in life."

"Wow, I wasn't expecting you to talk like that." Rin admitted. "I thought you would use your power to convince others to accept each other for who they were."

"That is ruling through fear and that makes everything worse." Adam said. "Just because I have great power, doesn't give me the right to decide who's right and who's wrong. I had to help everyone see that there is more than one way to live a life and respect other's beliefs. It's a hard and dangerous road, but it builds a long run of successes."

"So, is that it? We go back and defeat Eve?" Serena asked.

"Not quite. There is still one more thing you must do, Serena." Adam said. "You need to extract these girls from Eve and into your body."

"How do I do that?" Serena asked.

"Leave that to me." Adam smiled.

Asuka vs Eve

Eve LP: 4000, Hand: 3
Asuka LP: 2000, Hand: 0

"You just sealed my victory when you defeated Supreme Queen Dragon Moon!" Eve declared.

"What are you talking about?" Asuka asked.

"When a Supreme Queen Monster is destroyed in battle, if I have Supreme Queen Eve on the field, I can activate this Trap Card from my hand! Trap Card: Supreme Queen Intimidation! This card allows me to pick a monster on my opponent's field and return it to their deck!"

"What?!" Asuka gasped.

"Since I'm not destroying it, you're Continuous Trap: Shield of Fallen Angels can't protect you from this! Now get lost!" Eve released a major death glared that it froze the Cyber Fallen Angel in fear and he went back to Asuka's deck.

"No! Samael!" Asuka gasped.

"Now allow me to finish you off personally." Eve smiled. "I unleash a Direct Attack! Die! Supreme Queen Asuka!" Eve unleashed her breath attack on Asuka.

"Asuka!" Rua and Rio cried out.

Asuka saw the breath attack heading towards her and she closed her eyes. "I'm sorry, Jonouchi…I failed…"

The attack struck Asuka and she screamed as she was blown away. She crashed into the wall hard, with a loud crack echoing throughout the lab and Asuka coughed out blood.

Asuka LP: 2000→0

Asuka then fell face flat on the floor, her body covered in burn marks and her Duel Disk broken beyond repair.

"Asuka!" Rua cried.

"Rua, again!" Rio used her Chaos Power. Rua used his Signer Power and they opened the barrier again and let themselves go through.

"Asuka!" Rio made it to Asuka first and turned her over. "Hey, hang in there!"

"Asuka, say something!" Rua begged.

Asuka weakly opened her eyes. "Rio…Rua…I'm sorry…I'm…out of time…I can feel it…" Asuka admitted.

"Asuka…" Rio held her tighter.

"No!" Rua yelled. "Just shut up! We'll save you! We'll definitely save you! We're heroes! We can't lose! We always win! We're supposed to win together…" Rua started breaking down in tears. "Together…"

"Rua…" Asuka moved her hand and wiped Rua's tears. "I'm so proud of you. You've grown so much stronger ever since I met you. You've become a great hero."

Asuka then looked at Rio. "Rio…I'm also proud of you. You managed to achieve a great power and using it for good. I know you'll be a great queen. A better queen than I could ever be."

"I really…enjoyed my time with you all…I only wish…we had more adventures…" Tears formed in Asuka's eyes. "I love you all…" Asuka's body started to glow.

"Asuka!" Rua cried.

"No…" Rio whimpered.

"Protect…the dimensions…Guardians…" Asuka's hand fell from Rua's face and hit the ground. Her body shattered and disappeared.

"Heh…good riddance…" Eve scoffed. "Another sacrifice for the United World. And let me guess, you two want to avenge your friend?"

"Damn you…" Rio cursed. "Damn you!" Rio yelled and transformed into her Barian form.

"I won't forgive you!" Rua shouted and his Signer Mark glowed.

Rescue Boat

Jack, Crow and Aki all looked at their arms as their marks glowed and they disappeared.

"Our marks…" Aki said.

"They're gone." Jack finished.

"What's going on in there?" Crow looked at Academia.

Ray, Reiji and Sawatari vs Leo

Ray LP: 2000, Hand: 1
Field: Starve Venom Fusion Dragon (ATK: 2800, LV: 8), Clear Wing Synchro Dragon (ATK: 2500, LV: 7), Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon (ATK: 2500, RNK: 4, OVU: 2), Continuous Magic: Land of Dragon's Treasure, Continuous Trap: Pendulum Assault, 1 set card.

Sawatari LP: 4000, Hand: 0

"Argh!" Yuya cried again in pain and held his chest tighter.

"Again?!" Zarc was confused as Yuya wasn't getting any better.

"What's going on with him?" Sawatari got concerned.

"I don't know. Yuya, talk to us!" Ray called out.

Yuya's Mind

"Come on! Come on, Uncle!" Yuya tried to revive Jonouchi but nothing changed and he remained dead. "Come on, help me! You've helped me before so help them!" Yuya yelled at his pendant.

"Snap out of it!" Yuya turned to see Asuka in a hold with his mom. "This isn't you…remember…your son…"

Ray's grip started to loosen on Asuka. "My…son…" Ray muttered.

"OBEY ME!" Eve roared and Ray held her head in pain before she grabbed a rusted piece of metal and stabbed Asuka right through the stomach.

"No!" Yuya cried as Asuka fell dead.

Ray, Reiji and Sawatari vs Leo

"You…" Leo got back to his feet. "You will regret failing to defeat me…"

"Give up! You have no cards in your hand and your Phantasm monsters are destroyed! We win!" Reiji declared.

"It's not over until I say it's over! My turn! Draw!" Leo drew his card. "Perfect. The fact that I drew this card is enough proof that I am right and you all are wrong!"

"What?" Ray questioned.

"Ray, it's time that you learn to listen to your father for once!" Leo said. "From my hand, I activate the Magic Card: Dimension Fusion Murder! This card allows me to banish Fusion Materials from my hand, field or Graveyard for a Phantasm Fusion Monster and Special Summon that Fusion Monster from the Extra Deck, ignoring its summoning conditions!"

"What?!" Sawatari exclaimed.

"A Phantasm Fusion Monster?!" Reiji was surprised.

"Here it comes! From my Graveyard, I banish Lord of Phantasms, Raviel, Lord of Striking Thunder, Hamon and Lord of Searing Flames, Uria and fuse them!" The Three Phantasms came out of Leo's deck and they fused.

"Lord of Phantasms! Lord of Striking Thunder! Lord of Searing Flames! Now is the time to become one and unleash your ultimate combined power! Fusion Summon! Appear! Level 12! Chaos Phantasm Armityle (ATK: 0, LV: 12)!" Leo summoned the combined form of all three Phantasms.

"Chaos Phantasm…" Sawatari grunted from the shockwaves.

"Armityle…" Reiji grunted.

"And that's not all!" Leo smiled. "When Armityle is summoned to the field, I can activate the final effect of Phantasm Zone!"

"Final Effect?!" Ray grunted.

"By sending this card and any other Phantasm Magic and Trap Cards to the Graveyard, from my deck, I activate the Field Magic: Armityle Domain!" The field changed again, this time with an area of no life at all. There were dead flowers, dead animals, everything was dead.

"With this card, I'm free to use Armityle's effect twice per turn!" Leo smiled. "I'll use Armityle's effect to inflict 10,000 points of Battle Damage to an opposing monster!"

"10,000?!" Sawatari shouted.

"Now, this is a family matter so you two need to butt out!" Leo glared at Reiji and Sawatari. "Battle! Armityle, attack Zero Paradox and Oscar Winner! Land-Wide Obliteration – Transmigration Wave!" Leo ordered and Armityle unleashed a wave of obliteration.

"If it hits, both Reiji and Sawatari will lose!" Zarc sweated. He then looked at his son, who was still in pain.

Eve's Laboratory

"You know, I really don't want to Duel anymore. I'll just take what belongs to me." Eve shrugged off Rua and Rio and created a shockwave that made them both skid back and hit the wall hard.

Yuya's Mind

"BEAT THEM!" Eve ordered Zarc and Ray to torture Rua and Rio.

"No! No! No!" Yuya shouted as he closed his eyes and covered his ears.

Ray, Reiji and Sawatari vs Leo

Yuya made a gasping sound before he stopped moving completely. "Yuya! Yuya!" Zarc felt his son's heart. "It's not beating…it's not beating!"

"What?!" Ray gasped.

"Be gone!" Leo shouted as the blast got closer to Sawatari and Reiji's monster.

"No! They can't lose! If they lose, we can't bring back their God Cards!" Zarc thought. "And we can't lose Yuya, not like this!"

"I still have my set card…" Ray looked at her last set card. "Hang on, Yuya. I'm coming to help you."

"I activate my Trap Card: Heavenly Dragon Protection! I release my Dragon-type monsters on my field and transfer their Attack Points to any monster on the field!" Ray played her set card. "I transfer Dark Rebellion and Clear Wing's Attack Points to Zero Paradox and Starve Venom's to Oscar Winner!" The three dragons turned into aura and went to Reiji's and Sawatari's monsters.

Zero Paradox (ATK: 3000→8000)
Oscar Winner (ATK: 4000→6800)

"Furthermore, the monsters cannot be destroyed in battle!" Ray shouted.

"But they will still take damage!" Leo shouted. The attack struck both Zero Paradox and Oscar Winner. The shockwave that was made was so intense that it instantly blew both Reiji and Sawatari off their feet.

Sawatari LP: 4000→800
Reiji LP: 3000→1000

"You may have saved Sawatari, but you failed to save Reiji. On his next turn, his contract will end him!" Leo shouted.

"I'm protecting my family!" Ray shouted. "From my hand, I activate the effect of Mother Magician! After damage calculation where a Pendulum Monster is attacked, I can discard this card from my hand and destroy all Magic and Trap Cards on the field!"

"My Armityle Domain can't be destroyed!" Leo shouted.

"But Reiji's Contract and you're Pyramid of Light are destroyed!" Ray smiled.

"Sh-Shit!" Leo cursed. He totally forgot about his Pyramid of Light. A female magician appeared on the field and she spun her staff around and destroyed all the Magic and Trap Cards on the field, including Reiji's and Sawatari's Pendulum Zone.

Yuya's Mind

All of a sudden, Yuya felt two pairs of arms holding him comfortably. He then saw that Maiami City was back to normal, no destruction, no fire and he also saw Jonouchi, Asuka, Rua and Rio being alive and no longer beaten. He was also being hugged by Zarc and Ray.

"Mom? Dad?" Yuya looked at his parents.

Ray, Reiji and Sawatari vs Leo

"Th-The pyramid's gone…" Sawatari grunted.

"Thank you…Big Sister…" Reiji thanked.

"I'm sorry…but that was my last move." Ray apologized.

"What do you mean?" Reiji asked.

"At the end of the Battle Phase, I take damage equal to the combined Attack Points of the Dragon-type monsters that I released." Ray said.

"But that's…" Reiji knew the total Attack Points of the dragons was 7800 and Ray's Life Points were only 2000.

"Wh-What's gonna happen to you?" Sawatari asked.

"The same thing if we won the Duel." Ray admitted. She then winced as she felt to her knee.

Ray LP: 2000→0

"Ray!" Reiji reached for her.

"Hey, you're still Dueling! Move and you surrender!" Leo shouted.

Ray panted as she felt her remaining energy disappear. "I gotcha…" Zarc walked up to Ray and picked her up bridal style.

"You're not gonna complain that I'm too heavy?" Ray joked.

"Shh…let's be with Yuya…for the last time…" Zarc scolded. Zarc laid Ray beside Yuya.

Ray turned and she pulled Yuya into her arms. "My son…" Zarc laid down on the other side of Yuya and he reached to put his arms around both his son and wife. Yuya's face of pain, started to change to a relaxed expression.

Yuya's Mind

"Mom…Dad…what's going on? Where's that huge dragon?" Yuya asked.

"Yuya, the Pyramid of Light was sapping your strength by trapping you in an illusion of your friends dying." Zarc explained.

"I thought something was strange. When I took damage, I felt I was losing so much of myself. My strength, my mentality, everything…" Yuya admitted.

"Don't worry, I got rid of the Pyramid of Light, we'll give you our last bit of energy so you can get back in the Duel." Ray said.

"Wait? Last bit? And you Dueled?!" Yuya was confused.

"Your mother is quite the Duelist." Zarc said. "But Yuya…I'm sorry but this will be the last time we see you."

"Adam used the last of his Adam Factor within you to give us physical bodies in the real world to put our souls in. But our bodies are only temporary." Ray revealed.

"Why? Isn't the Adam Factor eternal?" Yuya asked.

"Well, it's up to the one who uses it." Zarc revealed. "After finding out how much trouble the Adam Factor caused, Adam made sure that after a specific amount of time, the Adam Factor would be destroyed. So, after we leave, the Adam Factor will be destroyed."

"But Eve needs that to revive Adam." Yuya said.

"Yuya…relics of the past…have no right to determine the future." Zarc said. "Your mother and I love you very much, but even if you did win this war, it won't erase Leo's desire to bring back your mom or his desire to bring back the United World."

"But I…I want to talk to you some more. I want us to be a family again. I…" Yuya caught himself. "I'm sorry…I'm being selfish and only thinking about what I want. I have to think of others. I'm a Dimension Guardian."

"Hey, I want to spend more time with you too." Ray put her hands on Yuya's shoulder. "I really want to tell you more about our fun times. A backyard movie night. Birthday party bounce houses."

"Picnics in the park. Meeting Duel Monster mascots. Riding with the dragons…all of them good memories." Zarc reminisced.

"But someday we all will have to move on. We stayed as long as we could, but we have to go now." Ray said.

"I'm gonna miss you both." Yuya admitted. "I love you."

Ray teared up and hugged her son. "We love you too…our Champion…" Ray's tears fell on Yuya's face and he buried his face in his mother's bosom.

Zarc joined them on the hug and he patted his son's head. "Yuya…one more thing…" Zarc said as he and Ray started to fade away.

"Happy Birthday." Zarc and Ray said together.

Professor's Chamber

Zarc and Ray's bodies glowed, catching Reiji, Sawatari and Leo off. "Wh-What's happening?"

"Ray!" Leo called out.

Both Zarc and Ray unleashed a very bright light, almost blinding the others. When the light died down, both Zarc and Ray were gone, but Yuya was standing fully recovered.

"Yuya!" Reiji and Sawatari smiled.

"Where's Ray?! What did you do to her?!" Leo ordered.

Yuya opened his eyes and both his red and green eyes glowed. "Father…Mother…thank you for everything."

"Sorry, Reiji, Sawatari. I'm gonna make it up to you now!" With Yuya back in the Duel, his cards reappeared on the field.

Yuya LP: 600, Hand: 0
Field: Scale 1 Stargazer Magician, Scale 8 Timegazer Magician, 3 set cards.

"I activate my Trap Card: Pendulum Emergency Flare! By destroying two cards in my Pendulum Zone, I'm allowed to Special Summon one monster that was banished during this Duel!"

"What?!" Leo gasped.

"Furthermore, if a Duelist that has performed a Pendulum Summon during this turn has no cards in their Pendulum Zone, they are also allowed to Special Summon a banished monster!" Yuya revealed.

"Alright!" Sawatari shouted.

"Return to us!" Reiji shouted.

"Gods of Egypt!" Yuya, Reiji and Sawatari shouted.

"Osiris!" Osiris appeared behind Yuya.

"Ra!" Ra appeared behind Sawatari.

"Obelisk!" Obelisk appeared behind Reiji.

"D-Damn it…" Leo cursed.

"Leo Akaba!" Yuya, Reiji and Sawatari pointed at him. "The counterattack starts now!"
