I DO NOT OWN SPARTACUS: GODS OF THE ARENA. SHOUTOUT TO ALL OF MY LOYAL READERS AND REVIEWERS FOR WITHOUT THEIR SUPPORT I WOULD SURELY BE LOST.
Doctore was instructed to bring Flavius to his new cell and did so. On the one hand, Flavius was rather relieved to not be kept awake with the constant snoring of his brothers in arms. However, after the many months that he had spent in the common cells, Flavius had rather gotten used to sleeping with others close nearby and feared that a single cell might prove all to solitary for him; except for the nights when Diona was permitted to lay with him.
"Yours alone." Doctore remarked as the son of Mars slowly walked out his new lodgings. It was a simple enough chamber. It possessed a bed and a small table to be used for whatever purpose the Roman deemed necessary.
"Not to be shared." Flavius replied in relief.
"Your achievement in earning it profound."
"Made possible by your instruction."
"My actions only set you to the task." Doctore insisted as he refused credit for Flavius's victory.
"I live to see my sister again because of you, a debt not soon forgotten." Flavius said as he offered his arm which Doctore grasped.
"There is no balance between us, only the promise of future glory." Doctore assured the Roman.
"Will Batiatus have another cot put in, I can't be expected to share a bed with my sister." Flavius remarked with a chuckle.
"You misunderstand, this cell is for you alone." Doctore replied as his smile fell. "Neither wives nor sisters are not permitted to live among us."
"Then where will she stay?" The Roman asked.
"In the villa, kept safe and well in return for good service to the Domina." Doctore answered as Flavius finally caught on.
"As a slave?" Flavius asked with anger.
"As are we all, but you rise quickly, unlike any other I've ever witnessed." Doctore said as he put his hand on the champion's shoulder. "Continue your ascent, and you will gain freedom, for her and your new wife."
"If Diona can not stay with me, when will I see her?" He inquired.
"She will be permitted to come to your bed once a week to fulfill her wifely duties." Oenomaus explained as Flavius's heart sank. He would be able to lay with his wife once a week? It was not right at all.
The next day.
As promised, the next day, Flavius was taken to get a new suit of armor. It was a strong looking suit with a pair of crossed swords on the breast plate while the rest was adorned with an emerald sheen. Meanwhile, curious Romans looked inside the shop with curiosity at the champion.
"A fine figure, is he not?" Quintus asked with pride as he looked over his champion, wielding a sword.
"A god among men." Doctore remarked as he gazed at the Roman.
"I've never beheld such magnificent armor." Batiatus said with a smirk.
"If you grant permission, I would wear it upon my sister's return." Flavius asked, wanting to show Messiena how their fortunes would improve after such hardship as they had endured.
"A move to impress?" his former master asked in return.
"She will marvel at the sight." Flavius answered with a smile.
"To show the world how you've crawled your way up from the muck and shit that cock eater Septimus threw you in." Batiatus replied, taking a shot at the Legatus. "You may wear it, and I will even stand by your side while you welcome her with your open arms. The sword, however..."
"What need would I have of it?" Flavius asked as he handed the sword back to Doctore. "Batiatus, a question: what night shall my wife be permitted to lay with me?"
"I had not actually given it thought...let it be this night, the 1st night of every week." Quintus decided as he clapped Flavius's shoulder. "I would see your labors well rewarded with the pleasures that Diona would offer you." The men chuckled at his meaning before leaving the shop; light of purse and light of heart.
Later that night.
As night fell across Capua, Flavius was waiting in his cell when the door opened to reveal his new wife at the door.
"Diona!" Flavius exclaimed as he picked her up in his arms and the 2 kissed passionately. He carried her to his cot as she quickly slipped of her dress and he out of his cloth.
"You should see the other slaves within the villa, they are absolutely green with envy; now that I am wife to the champion of Capua." Diona giggled with glee as Flavius planted kisses on her belly.
"Is that so, please tell me that you do not brag to them of my cock size as you did with Gannicus." The Roman begged in jest as the Celtic girl blushed in response.
"I would not lie to my husband...but I would exaggerate to my sisters of how much Mars has blessed his most favored son." Diona teased as she gently took hold of Flavius's manhood.
"Well then, perhaps with your aid, we can turn exaggeration to truth." Flavius said with a grin as he placed himself inside of Diona and passionate love to his wife; enjoying her flesh upon his own and the love they shared.
