Chapter 1: The Beginning
Sonic and Tails were spending a lazy afternoon in Green Hill Zone when they realized that their feelings for each other had grown beyond friendship. They were both nervous about expressing their love, but they couldn't ignore the way their hearts fluttered whenever they were together.
Tails finally worked up the courage to speak his mind. "Sonic, I have to tell you something. I think I'm in love with you."
Sonic was taken aback, but he couldn't deny the rush of excitement that ran through his body. "Tails, I feel the same way. I never thought I could fall in love with my best friend, but here we are."
