Voldemort had won. The resistance was down to 31 members out of the world. The leader was Harry Potter, his advisors were mainly broken girls. Even after the rapes and rescues, a few wanted revenge, but the writing was on the wall. Their seer, Luna knew that life on the planet would end soon. She got together with both sets of twins. The Weasley boys and the Patil girls. She included the rest of them by slow work. See made them see her vision in a week. Harry was heart broken and royally pissed at Dumbledore. The American witches were 4. The Japanese had 2 and the Chinese 3. The African and South Americans had 2 each. Australia had held out the most and their were 3 witches and 2 little girls, Britney and Mosha. Britain had Harry, Hermione, Luna, Susan, Su, Padma, Parvati, Gred and Forge, and the baby girls Victoire Fleur Weasley, Molly Ginny Thomas, and 'Teddy' Theodora Andromedia Lupin.
World War III as well as the last one was about to start. Crazy Tom, Emperor of the magic world had his people have the most powerful countries under control by Imperius. He ordered them to have the leaders launch all their weapons against their enemies to make them extinct. Death Eaters did not understand Nuclear, Chemical, or Biological Warfare.
Luna started the countdown to the portal. She was the only one to understand that only the souls would go to the new planet Earth, in another universe, reality, plane, or whatever you wanted to call it. She informed the others that Harry and the 2 most power others would power it, but it would only allow the weakest through, as magic would drain the portal. So the 5 children, then the arguing about who would be next. It was not what you think. Each was saying someone else should go in case it collapsed with them. 11 of the women were more interested in revenge than survival. Luna used them, by telling them that they could help power the portal in a secondary ring.
She told them in confidence that she only expected 11 people to make it, maybe 13 with the 11 sacrificing their magic, just as Harry, Hermione, and Susan would die. It was not a lie, they would die, but their spirits would make it. Forge and Gred made a deal with P and P to take care of the 2 Weasley girls as they were going to help power the portal, that should give them enough power for the others to make it. Luna saw that she would be last and not make it. She made sure that Harry know he was loved. She secretly bound the girls to him. She had not meant to bind the 5 children, also. The portal worked as Luna expected, but a glitch in the Horcrux in Harry gave the power a boost to include her. [The end of the story?]
Within 5 years the world was under a million people. The slaved muggleborn had laughed at the purebloods. They told them that without the muggle scientists that worked on the weapons, everyone would be dead in 20 years. The ghosts played with the piece of Tom that was still 'alive' as a wraith. After all, he still had the Horcrux in the Diadem. It was in the magic castle. The one with only the dead walking it. Helena could not pass on, due to the Diadem still being defiled. The Baron could not pass on, until Helena did. Myrtle could not pass on till Riddle did. So the 3 ghosts played footie with the Wraith. There was nothing alive to possess. Eternity and immortality was what Tom wanted, right?
