When one or more of the Aura Companions are summoned, Church can communicate with them and receive their aid in various situations. However, there is a cost to summoning the Aura Companions. Church's Aura is drained every time he uses his semblance, and the spirits can only remain summoned for a limited time.

While the Hyde side of his Semblance is extremely powerful, it can be dangerous, and Omally must be careful not to let it consume him. Hyde's attacks are brutal, and each slash of his scythe takes a toll on his body. If he overuses his Semblance, he may sustain injuries and exhaust himself.
