The blank page stared back at her as she tapped her pen, leaving ink dots in a singular spot. Even now, with a new adventure looming ahead of her, she couldn't think of what to write. She'd just received an award for her published novel, The Adventure of Iris, sure the amount sold didn't make her rich or a leader in the world of writers. But to get an award for it still made her proud, and it also made her want to start her next novel as soon as she could. But this time, she wanted something different, as many might have assumed, Iris was based on herself, along with her journeys since she had joined Fairy Tail.

Cliché, sure. But the memories she had made since joining Fairy Tail, all the hardships she herself, and those that her friends had made, all motivated her into the wizard that she was today and she was inspired by her adventures to write her story. Without Fairy Tail, she could honestly say she wouldn't be the same person sitting here. Nor would she be, if she hadn't met...

"... hahaha..." The man-child that was running up the aisle of the train, back and forth, over and over like it was the greatest thing ever.

Generally, the boisterous Fire Dragon Slayer would be in a catatonic state, at the sheer mention of travel of the vehicle variety. However, Wendy, the ever-loveable youngest Dragon Slayer of the guild had an idea to enchant her Troia spell, into Natsu's scarf, and as Lucy could very plainly see, Wendy's idea worked. Whenever Natsu wore his scarf, it appeared that his motion sickness was non-existent. As a plus side, Natsu wasn't affected by the Troia spell directly, so he wouldn't develop a tolerance to the effects over time as it happened before.

Still, it was symbolic for the blonde. They were headed to Hargeon to start their newest adventure together, the same place where she had met Natsu and where he had invited her to join Fairy Tail. It almost felt like a lifetime ago now, so much had happened. Both she and Natsu had changed since the day they met when the Dragon Slayer had burst through the crowd, breaking the charm magic that had caught her off guard.

This would be a new start, a brand new adventure that would be unlike any before, and when it was all over, maybe she'd have more than one novel idea. The war with Alvarez was over now, and while jobs were still coming into the guild like usual, there was just no longer a sense of grand adventure like before. Natsu had kept prodding Master Makarov to let them take on the 100-Year Quest but was declined at every turn. Lucy believed that Makarov just wanted them to be truly prepared and the quest wasn't going anywhere yet.

Natsu like her was brimming for a new Adventure, although he was just probably looking for something exciting while she was looking for inspiration for her next novel. Regardless, they had a plan. While helping Levy re-organise the guild's library, she'd come across an old Spell Book, one that gave mention to a certain spell, Aqua Aera a Spatial Magic that allowed the user to move between dimensions. While initially doubtful, all it took was a reminder of how they had once travelled to Edolas from an Animia Portal to believe it to be a plausible idea. It wasn't until Levy researched the spell to learn that it was real that Lucy thought that it might be a way for a new adventure.

Natsu was all too happy to volunteer, Happy as well. While Lucy had asked Erza and Gray, they had opted to let them venture forth with just the two, or well, three of them. Happy rarely left Natsu's side after all. He was happily sitting beside her cheering Natsu on as he ran up the aisle of the train, enjoying his newfound freedom of vehicle transportation, she had to wonder how long it'd be until he removed his scarf and it all came to an end.

It also just wasn't Happy, she herself had her Celestial Keys. While Aquarius' key was still broken, Lucy had refused to part with it and after training, she could still manifest Aquarius' Star Dress, even with her broken key.

When she had explained her goal to traverse to another world to her Spirits, she had been surprised when the Spirit King himself, had bestowed upon her a farewell gift. For the first time ever, a set of duplicate keys for Piceses and Libra had been created, with Yukino's blessing of course. The only way they could be used was outside of Earthland, so when Lucy returned the duplicate keys would be inoperable. For the first time since her mother, there was a Celestial Wizard in possession of all twelve Zodiac Keys.

-[We'll be arriving in the Port Town of Hargeon momentarily.]- The conductor's voice came over the intercom speakers causing Lucy to look up, Natsu rushed back to their seats with a grin on his face, he was always so eager for the next adventure and honestly, Lucy was feeling the same eagerness to begin this journey.

"Ready Luce?" Natsu grinned, punching his fist forward.

"Yeah!" She declared with a smile, pushing her fist into his before a small blue paw mimicked the movements as Happy joined in.

"Aye Sir!" The three shared a grin before the train began to pull into Hargeon Station. Lucy grabbed her wheeled suitcase as Natsu grabbed his own pack, Happy moving to sit on the rolled-up bedding Natsu always took with him when he went on jobs. The members of Fairy Tail exited the train once it arrived at the stations and began to make their way through the bustling streets of Hargeon, it'd grown a lot since they had met, even more so now that it was flourishing with trade from Alvarez now that the war was over.

"Where are we headed?" Natsu questioned.

"The port." Lucy stated. "Master Makarov organised us a ship, and once we're a bit further out at sea I'll use Aqua Aera." She added with a smile, after investigating and experimenting with Aqua Aera she and Levy had discovered a world mostly covered with water, so if they were to adventure there they would need a ship. Natsu nodded and the trio made their way towards the busy port. Dozens of ships were docked, most unloading cargo and there were even a few expensive-looking yachts moored.

"All we need to find is the Harbor Master and give him the letter from Master Makarov." Happy added with a nod from Lucy, Makarov had been helpful in organising everything which had been a great help and allowed them to quickly set off without having to wait for a ship. It wasn't difficult to find the Harbor Master, all they had to find was the loudest man barking orders at everyone.

"Excuse me." Lucy smiled warmly however the man turned with an annoyed glare as he looked down at the two wizards.

"Wadaya want? I'm busy here!" The man snapped.

"Sorry, I was just here to pick up a ship, I have a letter from our Guild Master." Lucy explained, holding out an envelope with the Fairy Tail insignia on it. The man paused after seeing the guild's insignia before looking at the two again, spotting the pink guild mark on Lucy's hand.

"Alright, come with me." The man stated, taking the letter and stuffing it into his pocket. Natsu and Lucy shared a smile before they followed after the Harbor Master. "Look, I told your Guild Master it was really short notice so I couldn't do much." He explained as he led them through rows of docked ships, all really expensive looking. "He wasn't exactly forthcoming with the details either."

"As long as it floats." Happy stated.

"Oh, it floats." The Harbor Master gave a dry laugh as he stopped right before an enormous beautiful yacht, Lucy had stars in her eyes as Natsu glanced up at it quizzically, what was so great about it? It didn't look that sturdy and it reeked of booze and an array of what could only be assumed expensive perfumes. "Huh? Who docked this thing here!" Lucy was snapped from her thoughts at the shout of the Harbor Master as he looked around confused. "Oh, there's your... uh, ship." He pointed causing the three to turn, Lucy's face dropped, it certainly wasn't a luxury yacht.

It wasn't large by any means, calling it a boat seemed more appropriate in comparison to the luxury yacht Lucy had just seen. In reality, it was a moderate size boat that didn't even have a prominent figurehead, only a bowsprit beam. Located in the centre of the deck was a spherical cabin, which the main mast rose from, having a blue and white striped sail, two sets of roped ratlines reaching up to the crow's nest, and attached to either side of the ship.

Lucy could only blink as she stared at the craft, it surely wasn't what she had expected. Perhaps when she's seen the yacht she'd gotten her hopes up, but didn't Fairy Tail have its own flagship? They took one to Tenrou Island, didn't they? But, it was just the three of them and it's not like they needed the space, so it's not like she should have expected Makarov to let them use that. This one didn't seem too bad.

"It's cozy!" Natsu laughed. "Much better than that other overpriced piece of crap, I like this one much better!" He declared with a grin.

"It'll be easy for you two to manage it on your own, it doesn't need a full crew to sail it." The Harbor Master explained. "Take it, she's yours. Do what you will with her." He waved his hand as he turned to leave. "She's fully stocked for whatever voyage it is your going on."

"Let's get going!" Natsu cheered before pausing. "Wait, I know Wendy's enchantment worked on the train, but will it work on boats too?"

"Only one way to find out Natsu." Happy tapped him on the cheek. "Just believe in Wendy and you'll be fine." Lucy and Natsu headed for their new ship, while not what she was expecting, it didn't dampen her spirits on the adventure they were about to have. They'd be away from the guild for who knows how long, they had been given a send-off when they left Magnolia by the entire guild, they wouldn't let this damper their mood and Natsu was right, the boat was cozy. Up close it was bigger, Natsu had no problem leaping onto Deck, bracing himself for a moment to make sure no motion sickness overcame him.

"I'm alive!" He cheered, thrusting his arms into the air as Lucy walked down the ramp onto the deck with her suitcase. Glancing around, she smiled, it was more than enough for the three of them, probably more so and the Harbor Master was right, it was better to be functional considering there were only the three aboard. "Let's set sail!" Natsu cheered as Lucy smiled, this was it. The start of their brand-new adventure.

Leaving their bags on deck, the three went to untie the ropes from the dock, removing the ramp that Lucy used to board they began to drift from Hargeon Port, once they had a full view of the ocean laid out before them, they unfurled the sail, letting it drop and as soon as it was down it caught the wind. Lucy smiled as the breeze blew over her, the excitement was brimming in her chest as she saw the endless horizon ahead.

"Lucy, you're smiling is creepy!" Happy stated as he floated around her, wings extended. Lucy's brow twitched as she shot him a glare, of course, Happy had to ruin the moment.

"Shut it!" She snapped at the blue cat, Natsu laughing in the background. Ignoring the exceed for now, she walked over to the railing, looking back at the port town. "We should wait until Hargeon is out of view before we use Aqua Aera."

"Alright." Natsu shrugged, not really seeing the difference in where they used the spell, he leapt up and landed atop the railing of the ship, watching as the town shrank away in the distance. The ship cut through the water without issue, the breeze blowing gently around them. Lucy took in the deck of their ship before making her way for the spherical cabin, she might as well see what they were equipped with.

"I'll be in the cabin!" She called out to the two, entering inside. She was surprised at how spacious the interior was.

The room itself mixed both the kitchen and dining room together, with the two areas separated by a bar. There was a tiller that would control the rudder and a small staircase leading to the lower deck. The kitchen had a very professional setup, something you'd find in an 8-island restaurant run by Yajima. The stove had eight hot plates each implanted with a fire lacrima for cooking, a large walk-in fridge was also included plus an equally large walk-in pantry used to store dry goods.

On the other side, the dining room had a nice large table with enough room to seat eight easily, a bench seat ran along the far wall with windows looking out to the ocean. Along the back wall was a door that led to the rear deck.

Lucy descended the stairs, the lower deck was even more spacious than she imagined, maybe she had been too quick to judge the little ship. Towards the Stern of the ship, was a walled-off room, then towards the bow was the same and between the two rooms was a large living space.

First, she made her way towards the walled-off room towards the back of the ship. She found a room with three single beds and two hammocks. She knew Natsu liked to sleep in a hammock but she herself preferred a nice fluffy bed to sleep in. The next room, closest to the bow had another set of three beds and two hammocks, mimicking the other sleeping quarters.

As she made her way back towards the main living room, she took a quick look at the bathroom, with the shower, bathtub and toilet. She was pleasantly surprised that their little boat had all the amenities of a home. Noting a hatch in the floor, she walked over to it, opening it up to find a copious amount of storage space. She had to wonder if the boat was used for smuggling, considering the storage space it had below deck. Regardless, this was their ship and would be their home.

All in all, Lucy was really impressed with the ship, she'd definitely misjudged it. This would be a cozy little home for them as they sailed across the new world they were going to explore. Making her way back up onto the deck, she smiled as Natsu and Happy were waiting for her.

"Ready?" Natsu asked, getting a nod from Lucy.

"Ready." She confirmed as she walked to the bow of the ship, reaching down for her celestial keys. Pulling forth Aquarius' broken key, she focused her magic power as she activated her star dress. Her outfit morphed as if re-quipping a magical armour similar to Erza. Her clothes were replaced with celestial garments, a bikini top that sported a zigzag design; frilled, dark sleeves that were secured around her upper arm by ribbons; and a frilled, dark miniskirt; the miniskirt had a ribbon that was tied in a bow to keep it secure.

Additionally, Lucy's hair changed from her long ponytail into two long pigtails as sandals appeared on her feet and to complete the Stardress, Aquarius' zodiac sign spread across Lucy's collarbone.

"I've only done this on a small scale." Lucy admitted.

"You can do it Lucy." Natsu encouraged.

"Aye, you got this!" Happy added.

"Thanks." Lucy smiled as she raised Aquarius' key up. Holding the golden key out to her side, Lucy's magic spread through her and into the key as a coil of water began to rise up in front of the ship from the ocean, before beginning to make a giant circle in front of them. Natsu and Happy watched, intrigued at what was going on as water began to form what looked to be a wall in front of the ship.

"Aqua Aera!" Lucy's head shot up as she cast the spell, the water wall before the ship being encased in golden light as the spell activated. As the water of the portal shifted, it was clear that they were looking through it, into another world.

"Awesome Lucy!" Natsu cheered.

"Let's start our adventure." Lucy smiled as the ship sailed forward, sailing into the dimensional portal.

Hello there. I'm writing for the first time with my two favourite Anime, One Piece and Fairy Tail. This is my first Fanfiction so I'm still learning how to properly write a story so your criticism is welcome. I've always found that this kind of crossover is exciting to read but it's difficult to find long-lasting stories, so I hope that I'll be able to continue to write this for a very long time.

This Chapter was very Lucy-centric, but I didn't really know how to switch povs between her and Natsu this chapter and this was just an introduction to the story as they make their way into the world of One Piece.

My first 13 Chapters have all been lined out, I've just got to make the skeletons I've drawn up into fleshed-out chapters so do expect updates but perhaps maybe once a week. I intend to make each chapter between 5,000 - 10,000 words.

I'm happy to answer any and all questions.
