Lucy Joins the Fight
Lucy Heartfilia couldn't help but sigh at the sight before her when she opened the door to the Fairy Tail guild; a full-scale, Pier-6 brawl was happening right behind the thick stone walls of the guild hall. Lucy immediately noticed her boyfriend, Natsu Dragneel's, pink hair flying across the hall after getting hit with a strong uppercut by his frenemy, Gray Fullbuster.
"Maybe I'll go back to bed," Lucy mumbled before attempting to walk away from the scene before her. However, despite all the chaos going on around the guild, Natsu's nose was right on the money as he noticed Lucy at the door, and rushed over to her. Lucy couldn't help but smile as Natsu practically jumped onto her, cuddling her and nuzzling his cheek onto hers.
"Lucy! Where've you been!? I've been bored out of my skull waiting for you!" Natsu exclaimed, Lucy, wincing slightly at the sound of Natsu's voice yelling in her ear.
"I was running a little late. I had to talk to the landlord about some burns a certain someone put on my wall," Lucy said, Natsu looking away while rubbing the back of his neck. He remembered that incident that happened a couple of days ago; he was playing 'Fire Tag' with Happy while he was waiting for Lucy to come home from the store, and despite Natsu winning the game, he ended up losing when Lucy saw the burn marks on the wall, was furious about him, and kicked him out of her bedroom for the next couple of days.
"Yeah…sorry about that," Natsu mumbled. Before Lucy could reply, Natsu was hit in the face with a block of ice, causing Lucy to jump.
"Hey, Fireball! Quit hiding behind Lucy, and come back here so I can kick your ass!"
"The hell did you say, Ice Prick!? I'll come over there and shove that snowball so far up your ass that you'll be choking on it!" Natsu countered, with Lucy chuckling at Natsu's comeback, mainly for the image. Gray then threw another block of ice at Natsu, but due to his irritation, he wasn't as focused on targeting Natsu specifically as he was before. As a result, he accidentally beaned Lucy right in the side of the head with that block of ice, sending her staggering.
"The fuck was that about, you Icy Asswipe!?"
"I was aiming for you, Flame Brain!"
"You aim like shit!"
"You look like shit!" While Natsu and Gray continued arguing, Lucy held the side of her head, hissing when that tender spot on her head stung the second she touched it. When she pulled her hand back, Lucy was shocked to see that there was a slight amount of blood on her hand. Lucy, glaring at Gray, grabbed one of her keys, and raised it up, causing light to envelop her, everyone to stop what they were doing, and look at her. This included Natsu, who looked excited about what was going to happen, and Gray, who was feeling a mixture of confusion and worry. When the light from Lucy's magic subsided, she was in her Scorpio Star Dress and was smirking as she stood next to Natsu, staring right at Gray. Gray looked worried for his life as Natsu and Lucy looked at him with matching smirks, magical energy radiating around them.
"Oh it is on," Lucy said before she and Natsu joined hands, and rushed after Gray, causing the rest of the guild to move out of the way, not wanting to be in the way of whatever Fairy Tail's power couple had planned for the Ice Make user.
