Teal-Eira Hayley
Another part of Remnant in the continent of Anima is home to the settlement of Argus in the Kingdom of Mistral. A city that is well protected by the largest military base along with having the Cross Continental Transit System or the CCTS for short. With having the building a Victorian style that is built upon hills next to rail-car stations that seem to hover when traveling.
Also having one of the most flourishing academies in Argus known as Sanctum. An academy that is mainly a combat school for trainees to help improve their skills in combat. Right now it isn't in session but near the street covered by cobblestone walks a girl.
She seems to be seventeen years old and stands at 5.8ft tall. Her hair was teal colroed and styled into a ponytail. Her eyes seemed to be a light shade of blue that seemed similar to ice. Along with her skin being fair and looking it seem. Like she spent days in the cold, along with her build seeming to be a slender build.
Her outfit consisted of a teal colored dress seeming to made of silk. The dress seemed to glisten since it was late at night with the broken moon of their world. The dress left the chest open in the shape of snowflake, this showed a bit of her clevage underneath the dress. Along with that the dress was mixed with a little bit o white throughout her dress. The girl also wore a short skirt around her waist.
The skirt reached down to the end of her thigh revealing most of her legs. But she wore stocking that were teal colored to cover them up. Around her neck was a choker that seemed like a ribbon even, and it was colored teal. On her right ear hanged a small earring of a snowflake. Then on her hips were some pouches that seemed to store some items, and they were colored teal.
The girl was walking toward the academie grumbling to herself seeming annoyed at her current situation. She had a suitcase in one hand and another one in the other. One suit case was colored teal like her outfit and the other one was colored orange.
"I can't believe those two….deciding to have a quick sparing session before we leave. Ughhh your going to be the death of me sis."The girl said outloud to herself.
As she continued to walk down the street, she passed by four men who seemed to be drinking. They had whiskey bottles it seems and they were hooting and hollering at each other.
"Man that guy stood no chance…..next time we work for them we should ask for a bigger pay out."A man said who was short.
A larger man just laughed at that response"really you want all of to lose our heads or what."The large man said taking a swig of his drink
"Arghh knock it off you two can we stop talking about that job of ours. I got a killer headache already and I've barely been drinking."A skinny man said
Then a man who seemed to be the leader of these men look at the girl walking by them. He examined her thinking he seen that girl somewhere before. The other three men took notice of this immediately.
"Hey man you checking out the cutie over their…"the short man said laughing
"Yeah I suggest not…..don't wanna go to jail for something like that our rep would be ruined."the skinny man added
The leader of this group had a grin on his face"No…..but I think we just got our next job."he said confusing the three
"What do you mean by that shes just some girl?"the large man asked
"He's right…..what we gonna sell her to those slavers down in Vacou or whatever?"the short man asked
"No…. you know that famous weapon smith here in Argus?"The leader asked as the men shook his head nodding yes.
"Well…..thats one of his daughter, if we kidnap her and hold her for ransom. We can make major lien off her….along with getting some sweet gear from the old guy.
The three men looked at each then back at their leader smiling seeming to agree with him. Then they all stood up starting to follow the young girl down the road. Each brandishing a weapon in their hands. As the men followed her with their feet making noise with each step they toke on the cobblestone path.
The girl ears peaked up hearing them but decided to keep going forward toward the academy. She had a blank expression on her face looking at the academy. But soon a voice called out from behind her.
"Hey little girl!"the voice said with her stopping and turning.
She looked at all the men examining them with a blank expression still. They all seem pretty dishelved along with being drunk. She thought to herself"Oh great now I get to deal with drunks….I don't have time for this."she thought
"Coudln't help but wonder…..your by yourself and we were wondering if you needed some protection."The leader of the group asked
The girl sighed"I'm quite alright actually…..i'm heading to the academy to meet someone. "She said about to walk. But as she did a loud clicking noise could be heard behind her. From the sound of it a shotgun it seems.
The girl turned around looking at the men and the skinny one brandished a pump action shotgun in his hand. The man smiled with a grinn holding his gun below his elbow. Then the leader walked foward now brandishing a curved sword.
While the other two wield different weapon. The short man brandished a short sword while the large man had a slegehammer tapping the end of the mallet into one of his hands smiling. The girl just looked at them with a blank expression still.
"You see we couldnt help but also notice your the daughter of a one…..Jaki Haley, am I right?"the leader questioned
The girl just groaned"yes, I am Eira Hayley, first daughter of Jaki Hayley. Weaponsmith and ex huntsmen, along with my twin sister. Why what do you want?"Eira asked
"Hmmm well heres the thing me and my boys we've been looking for some honest work. "The leader said motioning for the skinny man and short man to surround two smiled walking toward the girl and she noticed this.
"If you go down to the docks and help out as a sailor or dock worker i'm sure they'll pay you handsomely for your work."Eira replied
"Well we had a different idea in mind girl."the leader said with now the skinny man and short man to her sides.
"Instead were going to kidnap you and hold you for ransom against your pops. You better not struggle or this will get ugly."He added
Their was a pause and silence between them all, standing their silent the girl just let out a small laugh. This surprised the men as the girl dropped the two suitcases in her hands onto the ground gently. Then she grabbed something from her waist which seemed to be a pole.
"Ahh you four are funny…..now if were done here I need to go grab my sister we have a train to catch. "The girl said ready to leave but she was stopped by the short man. She knew this would happen no matter what but just played along with it.
"Hold it right their kid….move another muscle and your dead."The short man said getting close with his short sword.
Eira just looked at the man with a blank face, then the pole she had in her hand. She then pressed a button and a mechanical noise could be heard as it extended into what seemed to be a teal colored bat. The man just stared at it laughing at her weapon.
"Ha ha ha ha its that what your going to use to defend yourself…..a flipping bat."the short man said while laughing. But then Eira just smiled before putting both her hands on the bat lifting a leg up. As she did the bat seemed to be frozen over as ice covered top part of it.
Then she swung it hard into the short man face. This caught him off guard with a surrpsied expression. But his face was stuck it seemed and it was covered in a block of ice it seems. He then fell over trying to get up. Then Eira eyes glowed a little as the ice melted a little to make a hole where the mans mouth was.
"You crazy kid your gonna pay for that."The skinny man said firing off his pump action shotgun.
Eira eys glowed again as she lifted her hand up creating an small ice wall for her size. It curved up a little over her but it stopped the shotgun pellets coming at her. The skinny man was shocked but then fired off more shots trying to break the ice. As the leader and larger man looked on with curiosity.
The skinny man after firing off three more shells finally ran out and behind the ice wall Eira smiled. Then she let it down looking at the man with her bat on her shoulder tapping it. The man looked pissed then fliped his gun around where the stock was.
"Now you've done it kid, so what if we have to bash your face in."The skinny man said rushing toward her. Then as he got close Eira moved quickly out of the way.
The skinny man slipped on what appeared to be ice on the ground. Then he looked around at Eira who was now standing on a small track of ice. The man scrambled up trying to rush her again. But then she lifted her hand seeming to create a small path of ice on the ground.
The man tried to keep his balance but kept slipping and almost fell. As he was getting close to eira he had his head down before looking up to see a bat coming to his face. Eira socked the man with her bat making him fall backwards spitting a tooth out.
The leader then looked at the large man nodding to him to deal with her. The large man smiled coming over to the girl with his sledgehammer. "Your little bat aint gonna work on me little girl."he exclaimed
Eira just looked at him pointing her bat at him with one hand. Then with the click of a button it transformed itself making mechanical noises into a lever action shotgun. The large man wasn't impressed but made his way toward the girl.
As he got close Eira clicked the trigger on the shotgun firing off a shell. It hit the man and he wasn't phased by it as his aura seemed to take the hit. But Eira just smiled at him pointing her figner at his chest. He looked down in surprise to see ice starting to form around his chest slowly.
He seemed to freak out a little and as he did Eira fired off three more shells at him. One hit his legs, another hit his left arm, and the last one hit him in his jewels. The mans body was soon covered by this ice and Eira cocked her leveraction shotgun by twirling it around. Several shells that seem to contain something spill onto the ground.
Eira then walked past the large man and finally too the leader of the group. She smiled and the man just laughed still drunk. He made his way to the girl looking at his sword then licking the blade like a creep.
"Little girl your gonna regret you ever messed with us."the man said
"Hmmm I wouldn't be too sure of that."Eira said which confused the man.
"What do you mean those three were just weakling….no offense boys."the leader said.
But then Eira put her weapon away and got on the ground with her legs bent sideways. This confused the man until Eira seemed to be crying. The man just smiled and approached her but from behind someone tackled him.
"Hold it right their your under arrest."a police officier said
"What but….how did you get here."the leader asked
"We heard shots and came to investigate,seems here we got some people thinking it be fun to fire off a shotgun."an officer said
"Thank goodness your here officers these men were threatening me and planned on kidnapping me."eira said to the officer from distant.
An officer walked over to her examining the men incased in he got to Eira he offered a hand helping her up. She took it and seemed to be fake crying it seems.
"Don't worry miss we got here as soon we heard the shots. Sorry we were late but….you seem to handle yourself alright."the officer said
Eira smiled"yes but that man over their…..he seems to be the leader of this group. And early I heard them talking about selling people to some men."Eira replied
The Argus Officer was surprised at this and turned to his colleagues giving them a nod."well seems like you dealt with some bad eggs. Don't worry about this kid, get home safe."the officer said
The leader struggled in the officer grip while in handcuffs trying to as he walked away he saw Eira sticking her tongue out at the man which angered him.
"You little Icicle freak you'll pay for this!"he yelled and the comment he made angered her. Next thing before they knew it she rushed over jumping in the air kicking the man in the face. This left a mark on the face and the girl looked at him with anger. The officer were surprised by this but the older officer that talked with Eira laughed.
"Hey I know you now your Jakis kid…..you certianly got the mans temper. Why don't you get to where your going we'll take these thugs in."The officer said
Eira smiled before bowing to them"Thank you for getting here on time and for your service to our city. Have a nice night officers."Eira said before walking over picking up her bags. Then she made her way down the street toward Sanctum Academie.
