"Give me your camera, Mitsuba."

"How come?"

"I'll take your picture."

"And you call yourself an exorcist! I'm a ghost, loser traffic-safety earring! Ghosts don't show up on film, and if they did, that's when you should start being afraid and start running!"

"Trust me."

"No thank you! I'll pass! You'll probably take dirty photos with it anyway! Imagine if someone got a hold of my camera and saw your gross snapshots on here! They'd assume I was the porn-obsessed weirdo! It'd prove all the nasty rumours about my being ga –!"

"Yeah. The dirtiest." Kou spun Mitsuba's camera around between the girly boy's pink sleeves so it was pointed at him instead of Mitsuba.

Minamoto-kun?

"I'm dirty AF. Garbage. I didn't see you when you were alive. I didn't notice you died, and when I finally did see you, it was to force you to tell me your regrets so you could move on."

Now it made sense Kou pointed the lens at himself. He was the accused. The one on trial, who'd turned himself in for judgment. If anybody deserved to be zapped, it was him.

"Wow. When you put it like that…You're a damn jerk!"

"I'm the selfish one, Mitsuba. Since I…Since I want to keep you here and not let you go."

"Wwow! And a creepy sicko!"

"My regret is what I did to you. Even though you're a cheeky shit!"

"You didn't do anything."

"And for that, I'm guilty."

"…"

"I wish everyone could see you as I see you now."

Mitsuba relaxed so his scarf and extra-large sweater would slide down his shoulders and bare them and his collarbone. "That can be arranged."

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"

Mitsuba embraced Kou from the side, made a stupid face, and pressed Kou's finger down onto the shutter release with his finger.

"No! What? Are you insane! This looks like a real dirty photo!"

"Ehehe! But I'm a ghost! Nobody can see me after the film is developed~! At most, they'll think you're the sad rando taking pictures and talking to himself, hahaha!"

"Dammit! Give me that film!"

"Ahh! Not so rough! I'm a fragile cutie with no experience!"

"Just because you're dead doesn't mean I can't make you deader!"

Yokoo watched Kou chase apparently nothing through the school soccer field.

"He's being weird again."
