Thorin was stuck! His blue eyes locked with Azog as the Gundabag Orc pushed down against Orcrist while Thorin pushed back. He had gone to battle and said battle raged all around the base of Ravenhill!
His arms trembled as he kept his hold, pushing his blade against Azog's that had caught against Orcrist when Thorin had brought the blade up to catch in the groove of the sword attached to the end of the Orc's arm.
Back and forth both Dwarf and Orc pushed, but being the bigger of the two, Azog didn't tire as easily!
Back and forth the blades were pushed against one another - metal grinding against metal while sweat poured town Thorin's head to soak his hair.
Thorin gritted his teeth when he saw the vile look in the Orc's ice blue eyes. That look told him he was nearing his limit. Still, Thorin kept his elbows locked and his arms pushing Orcrist up against the crook of the menacing blade that all but threatened to pierce through his flesh and into his heart should he give in!
With a little bit more force, Azog pushed and Thorin gritted his teeth even harder when the tip of the Orc's blade came mere inches from his chest! His arms were waning, strength seeping out from him.
Thorin felt sudden spasms course through his arms and knew he wouldn't be able to keep the fight up! Inhaling a deep breath, he knew there was only one way out of the mess he was in.
Letting out his breath, Thorin let go of Orcrist and pulled his sword out from within the crook of Azog's menacing blade, letting the tip of the Orc's blade close the space between!
Closing his eyes, Thorin smiled as images of his friends filled his mind! Then his nephews and sister! Oh how he wished he could see her one last time! He just hoped his nephews were alright.
Another breath was inhaled through his nose and deep into his lungs? How could that be? He should be dying right about now.
Opening his eyes, Thorin looked to find the tip of Azog's blade had been caught - caught or blocked by some sort of dark energy that acted as a shield over his heart! Looking up at Azog, Thorin found The Pale Orc's attention had shifted to someone else.
Curious, Thorin turned his head so he could see just who had come to his rescue. His mouth feel open in shock when his blue eyes landed on a woman standing not too far from him and the stupid Orc.
Thorin angled his head better so he could get a better view of the woman. Long purple hair, pale skin covered by a purple bodysuit, a long cloak falling down around her slender body that beheld a blood red gem belt tied loosely around her waist. Purple matching slippers covered her feet. The only other thing showing were her long pale legs. Eyes flicking up to the woman's eyes, Thorin noticed she had a blood red diamond shaped jewel center of her forehead. And one of her arms was stretched out towards Azog, black energy covering her hand!
"Why don't you pick on someone your own size?" the woman hissed at Azog, whose ice blue eyes still held her purple ones.
Thorin caught sight of Azog being thrust back by the black energy! The woman walked forwards to stand above his head.
Washing over him, a strong wave of dizziness caused black dots to dance across his vision. Thorin felt his head spin, and when he started to fall backwards, his back hit the woman's leg! She must've moved closest so her leg could act as a back rest. Unable to do anything else from being tired and not feeling good, Thorin leaned his head back to rest against part of the woman's leg. His blue eyes fixed on her purple ones when she briefly looked down at him to make sure he was okay before turning her attention back onto The Pale Orc.
Seeing the scene before him, Azog charged, but was thrown back by another strong blast of black energy. He flew so far and ended up falling down into the cold icy river.
Resting both hands atop either of his shoulders, the woman stood behind Thorin to act as a shield. "I don't have the strength to finish him." Thorin sighed.
"I do, your majesty." The woman looked down to meet those blue eyes again when the Dwarf looked up at her. "Do I have your permission though?"
Thorin gave a single nod before closing his eyes against another wave of dizziness. Shedding her cloak, the woman folded the garment to act as a makeshift pillow before laying the Dwarf King back down against the ice, slowly and gently lowering his head onto her cloak. She caught sight of those beautiful blue eyes of his when he cracked his eyelids open.
"Rest, your majesty. I will handle this."
Thorin only managed a slight grunt.
Standing after tending to the Dwarf King, the woman turned her attention to The Pale Orc and glared daggers.
"You and that Dwarf runt will die!" Azog hissed.
"You want him?" The woman asked, her magic flickering around her hands as she readied herself. "Come and get him!" She challenged.
Azog didn't need an invitation and he voiced as much. He charged the woman but she was ready.
Thorin cracked his eyes open just in time to see the woman plunge her hand straight into Azog's chest! Literally! Into his chest! The Pale Orc's eyes widened from shock!
Blood swelled out from the opening and dripped onto the ice! From the way Azog moaned, Thorin guessed the woman held the Orc's heart in her hand, gently applying pressure to get her point across: she could kill him if she so pleased.
Eyes widening, Thorin tried moving when he saw Azog attempt to stab at the woman with his sword-arm, but failed when the indication was given from another moan escaping his mouth due to the woman squeezing. He didn't relax! Azog was in a position where he could also attack!
Before Thorin could do anything else, blood poured from Azog's mouth! His eyes widened simultaneously with The Pale Orc's when the woman tore her hand from Azog's chest; heart in hand.
Another minute passed before The Pale Orc's eyes faded to a dark gray! His lifeless body crashed against the ice covered water! And the woman threw the creatures heart over the cliff of Ravenhill!
