Hello, guys. Before you read this story i want to apologize for my poor english. I'm not native. I'm a polish girl who really enjoy stories about Nyx so I decided to write my own story. I hope you'll like it 3

It was quite a sunny day. Fawn had a swimming lesson with baby frogs. She was so exicted because it was her definitely favourite activity. Fawn loves water and frogs. The fairies have chosen a small lake in the spring forest. it was clean and not too deep. The frogs almost touched the bottom by the shore.

'Okay, students' Fawn said 'Welcome to your first swimming lesson. Are you ready?'

The frogs croaked and jumped happily.

'Okay, so let's start!'

The animals immediately jumped into the water. They moved their legs incompetently. Fawn watched them laughing.

'No, Green, stop. I show you. You need to swim, not jump'

She flew to the water and, without getting wet, presented the appropriate movement. Frogs tried to imitate her.

'Yes, Leap, you do it amazing! Keep going!' she screamed and clapped.

'No, Hoop, you need to move slower. And you, Cackle, try faster. You're drowing. Yes, it's so much better!'

They continued the lesson for a longer time. she was focused on the students and didn't notice the large animal swimming towards them.

'Okay, students, I think it's enough for today' frogs was disappointed. They really enjoyed the lesson with Fawn. 'You can get out of the water and dry yourself a bit'

Frogs did as ordered. When most of them were on land, suddenly a huge otter attacked. It was trying to catch frogs.

'Green! Leap! Run away!' Fawn screamed and flew to help them. Unsuccessfully. The otter was dangerously close. 'Help!' She called, hoping someone would hear her. Then the otter splashed. water flew into the air right at the fairy. wet wings stopped flying and she fell into the water.

The cold water caused a shock. She choked on water. She was wet and heavy. Fawn was slowly drowing. It was lucky that Nyx and Fury had a patrol in the spring forest that day. They heard a scream and rushed to help. Fury flew to defend the little frogs and Nyx flew to help Fawn. But she was already under the water.

'Fawn, can you hear me?' Nyx exclaimed. She did not receive an answer. All she could do was jump into the water. So she did.

'Nyx, are you crazy?' Fury screamed but Nyx was already in the water. She dived and began searching for her under the water. She found the fairy unconscious almost at the bottom. She grabbed her and used all her strength to pull Fawn out. On the surface, Fury helped her. They put the fairy on the ground. Nyx checked her breathing. 'She stopped breathing!' she screamed and started CPR. Water dripped from her hair and her clothes were soaked. Nyx didn't care. She had to save the fairy. Suddenly Fawn started coughing up water. She was alive. Nyx breathed a sigh of relief.

'Where am I?' she asked.

'In the spring forest by the lake. You almost drowned. How do you feel?'

'Dizzy. And cold'

'We'll take you to the healers, okay?' Fawn nodded. Nyx picked up a wedding style fairy. Fury offered to escort the frogs. The otter escaped. Nyx thought she had to take care of it later. Poses a threat to Pixie Hollow. When they flew to the healers Fawn almost fell asleep. The emotions slowly faded away and she became drowsy.

'What happened?' the doctor fairy asked when they arrived at the place.

'Fawn nearly drowned' Nyx explained. The doctor examined Fawn. Luckily nothing major happened. The doctor advised her to rest and drink warm tea. It was possible to catch a cold from cold water. If Fawn felt worse, she was to report to the healers.

'What about you, Nyx?' The doctor asked.

'Huh?'

'You're wet. I think you fell into the water too'

'I'm fine, thank you' Nyx smiled.

'Let me see'

'It isn't necessary'

'I said let me see' The doctor ordered. The scout fairy stopped arguing.

The doctor quickly examined her. She checked temperature, breath and conducted a short interview about self-feeling. Nyx moaned as it touched her right wrist.

'Does it hurt?'

'A bit' Nyx answered. Her wrist had been hurting for a long time. she contorted him as she pulls Fawn out of the water. Adrenaline made her forget the pain, but now it's back. Much worse.

'It's probably broken. I'll have to wear a plaster'

'It's not that bad' Nyx protested.

'You broke your wrist, Nyx. If I don't put a cast on, the bone will heal badly and you'll have problems for the rest of your life. But now I have to take an X-ray to check if the bone is really broken and if it hasn't displaced'

Nyx reluctantly agreed. The bone was broken but not displaced. The doctor put her wrist in plaster.

'How long will I have to wear it?'

'I think two months. I think two months. then you come to check. If there are no complications, we will remove the plaster'

'Two months?! I can't wait that long. I have to work!'

'You should take some time off from work, Nyx'

'I can't. I'm the boss of the scout fairies. They need me'

'Then you must be very careful with this hand. you will work on your own responsibility. I advised you'

'I understand. should i know anything else?'

'That's all'

The doctor sighed as Nyx lifted Fawn, trying to put as little strain on her arm as possible, and flew away. Stubborn as usual. She hoped the scout fairy wouldn't hurt herself. She always wanted to help everyone. Of course she forgot about herself.
