22 years old Quinn Puckerman realized that she had missed her period. She also realized that she had the same symptoms she had when she found out she pregnant with Beth 6 years ago. She decided to buy a pregnancy test before picking Beth up from school.
After picking Beth up from school and while she worked on her homework, Quinn excused herself and went to the bathroom to take the pregnancy test. The result didn't entirely shock her like it did last time because her and Puck had discussed the possibility of a 2nd child since they were at a place in their lives where it was a good time to have one. She knew she wanted to surprise Puck with the news in a special way so she called her sister-in-law Hannah to help her.
"Hello." Hannah said when Quinn called her
"Hey. Guess what I just found out." Quinn said with a smile
"What did you find out?" Hannah asked curiously
"I'm pregnant again." Quinn said with a smile
"That's amazing! Congratulations!" Hannah said with a smile
"Thanks. You're the only person who knows." Quinn said
"When are you gonna tell Puck?" Hannah asked
"Tomorrow night. So I was wondering if you could take Beth tomorrow night so me and Puck can have a date night and I can tell him then? I wanna put the test in a gift bag and wrap it. I wanna have him open it tomorrow night before we go out." Quinn said
"Yeah I'll help you with that." Hannah said with a smile
"Thanks so much. I'll talk to you later. I have to go help Beth with her homework." Quinn said
"Ok bye." Hannah said
"Bye." Quinn said as she hung up the phone
Later that night, Quinn told Puck about what she wants to do without telling him about the baby.
"So I was thinking what if we went to a fancy restaurant tomorrow night after work." Quinn said
"Who'd watch Beth?" Puck asked
"Hannah. I told her what I wanna do and she said she'd take Beth for the night. We'd just have to pick her up from your parents house on Saturday." Quinn said
"I'll make a reservation for the restaurant. Can you let Beth know what's happening?" Puck asked
"Yeah I will." Quinn said as they shared a quick kiss before she left their room
The next day, Quinn wrapped the pregnancy test in a gift bag and got a sonogram of the baby. Hannah stayed and helped her get ready before taking pictures of the couple before leaving with Beth.
"So I have something to give you." Quinn said with a smile
"What is it?" Puck said as Quinn handed him the gift
"Just something since since you're the best husband and dad." Quinn said with a smile as she watched Puck open the gift
"We're having another baby?" Puck asked with a smile
"Yeah." Quinn with a smile as the couple shared a hug and kiss to celebrate the good news before going on to have a great date night.
