(Ending 2)

"Will you at least look at me?" he asked. Satine looked up.

"Why do you have to do this?" She asked, tears streaming down her face.

"Do what?" he asked softly.

"Lie to people. Why do you tell people you care about them, only to tell them you can't care about them?" She hated this. She wished she didn't fall in love with a Jedi.

"Satine, I-I don't lie. I do care about you," he replied.

"Why did I have to fall in love with a Jedi?" she asked more to herself than anyone. Obi Wan felt terrible he couldn't be what she needed.

"I'm sorry," he apologized. "I care about you a lot."

"Yeah, but you can't even say I love you," Satine looked down.

"I-I-I," he tried to say.

"Don't try Obi Wan don't say things you don't mean or-or I don't know," she told him as he stood there, she walked on.

"I love you!" he had never said it and it was something Satine never thought he would say because that was against the Jedi Code. "I've loved you since the first time I came to Mandalore and we were on the run. I love you! And when I left Mandalore and you told me you loved me, I meant to say it. I meant to say it and I've kicked myself every day since because I didn't say it but I do, I love you! I've loved you since we got chased by Venomites and I dropped you and you got a terrible scar. You didn't even make me feel bad about it. No you just said, um-"

"No worries, It'll heal," Satine finished with tears, smiling.

"Yeah," he said. "I don't really know what happens tomorrow, or in 30 minutes when I leave Mandalore. All I know is I want what feeling we had on Mandalore to keep going. Because that whole experience I wasn't ready for it to be over. For us to be, I mean. And if getting chased by bounty hunters again then fine," he laughed a little.

"I get to pick the planet this time," she smiled.

"Fine, that's fine. It's all fine. I just, I don't want this to be something we leave behind, really. I want it to be the real thing, I mean, I think it is the real thing. I just, I want a chance to prove It. I mean, look-" but before Obi Wan could finish Satine ran into his arms and kissed him.
