Chapter 1: New life, New school, New Adventure Part 1
Station Square
6:30 p.m.
A group of movers were lifting and carrying boxes and furniture into a small apartment building, and finished the last load.A man, a single father, who recently lost his wife due to a terminal disease, and the only thing he had left was his young teenage daughter, Alice. She had fair skin, with cherry red hair, and brown eyes The girl was helping unload the stuff contained from the boxes to decorate their new place to make them feel right at home. "Alice!" Her father called out to her. "I'm going to order some pizza! Do you want anything special?" "Nah, just the usual," she called back as she continued back to work. She found a box with her name written on it containing all of her stuff. So Alice brought her box up to her new room upstairs. It was small, had a window with bench, her queen size mattress, her nightstand, and a small closet. Alice set her box down, opened it to find her star projector lamp, her Bluetooth Bose radio, poster's of her favorite band: Crush 40, and a picture of her mom, with her, and her dad when they were on a vacation in Soleanna.
Alice took out the portrait, looking at her mom's soft warm smile back when she was healthy, and thinking of how much she misses her so. She went over sat at the bench by her window and looked outside seeing the street, cars, and the whole neighborhood with people walking, passing by, and talking to some other people both human and mobian. The whole move was a bit hard leaving her old town where she grew up. Although she was not happy about it. But she knew after losing her mom, her dad probably wanted to move on, and start a new life. At least. . .that's what her mom would've wanted. . . For the both of them.
. . .
Somewhere in the middle of Station Square 7:30 p.m. four teenagers in hoods, with bandana masks over their faces, were on their skateboards riding through the alley, and skid to a stop dropping a bag with cans of spray paint. "Okay." Their leader brought out her map showing them of her latest project. "You all got your weapons ready?" They held out each of their multi colored spray paint for conformation. "Then let's get started."
The group began paint spraying the building wall with every single ounce of paint with every detail. As they finished their art project showed the whole entire planet earth with humans and mobians holding each other's hand in friendship and the word's on top saying: Love not Hate. They looked at their work with pride as one of them snapped a picture on their phone. "Hey you!" They turned and saw a fat police officer standing by the street. "That's vandalizing property!" The teens grabbed their skateboards and made a run for it, the fat cop slowed down before he could even try to catch them.
The teens skated away straight towards the bus stop dropping their hoods and face masks down the nearby trash can as they skated by one at a time. They made it on board without anyone suspicious. Their leader took her seat looking at their work on her blog thanks to her friend. "Another mission success, Tori." She said. "Hm," Tori smiled looking at the views and positive comments. She had black short buzz cut hair with purple highlights, with dark skin, and deep brown eyes. "Hopefully this will help mobian society and dealing with that jerk Richard Jameson."
. . .
In a home for orphans called 'Maple Wood Homes' A teenage boy with orange hair, green eyes with glasses, and olive skin was reading a story to his little sister; Sophie, before tucking her in. She had pale skin, short blonde hair, and deep blue eyes. "And Prince Charming swift Snow White up in his arms, and on his noble stead as they said their farewell's to her fellow drawf's and they all lived happily ever after. The End."
The little girl was fast asleep in her bed, the boy pulled the covers over her.
"Ca'mon Arthur," one of the other kids said. "Turn out the lights already!"
"Goodnight, Sophie," he whispered to her as he turned off the switch of the light.
. . .
Next Morning, Alice woke up by the sound of her alarm going off on her phone feeling exhausted from yesterday's move. Her long red hair was completely a mess like a birds nest. "Alice, I got your breakfast ready, now hurry up or you'll be late for your first day of school." Alice slammed her face down on her pillow making an irritated groan.
. . .
Tori in her punk rock, purple, emo style outfit, ran out from her room making her way towards the front door avoiding her parents as they call out to her angrily. The rebellious teenager grabbed her board and skated all the way down through the streets passing by her neighbors waving 'Good Morning' and saying 'Hi.'
. . .
Arthur held onto Sophie's hand as they made their way towards the bus stop waiting for their ride to take them to school. "Okay, so remember. I'll come pick you up by three so we can go to the beach okay?" Sophie smiled nodding her head, as the bus arrived opening the doors to climb on board.
. . .
Alice finished her breakfast, went outside to stretch her arms and legs getting ready to race against time to make her way towards her new school. She got into a runner's position, and dashed through the street.
Using her parkour skills, she jumped on a nearby trash can, then leaped over a wired fence, and landed on her two feet without breaking any bones. Then came across a constructing working sight grabbed onto a chain swinging her up on one of the platforms, and jumping from bar rail, and slid down on a pole making it out of there.
. . .
It was seven forty-five a.m., Alice had made it to her new school ground district just before the bell rings. She took in her surroundings seeing tons of students in different groups, jockeys, musicians, drama, artists, science and mathematician's, and of course cheerleaders. "Please let their be gymnastics," Alice begged, as she makes her way towards the school.
"So this is Falcon's Jr. High." She said to herself holding onto her straps of her backpack. She noticed that there were both human and mobians attending here. This was going to be an all new experience for her since there weren't many mobians from her old school. She just hopes she can make some friends without getting into any trouble. Until she bumped into someone.
Fliers were scattered across the ground, Alice quickly react helping pick the pieces of paper, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to--" she looked at the flier showing a face of one of the campaigns running for mayor in the city in a protest against him.
"Do you want to help me hand these out?" Alice looked up and met eyes with a dark skinned girl with short black buzz cut hair with purple highlights, and in a purple emo punk rock style attire.
"What's all this for?" Alice asked curiously.
"Oh, you haven't hear? Richard Jameson is trying to cut mobians off from human society," she said.
"Why?" Alice raised an eyebrow.
"Because, he thinks they're nothing but mutant animals that don't belong here." She continued. "But clearly mobians have been apart of this world since the very beginning before we discovered them thirty years ago. And he just doesn't want to accept that."
"That's awful," Alice said.
"I know," the girl said. "But as leader and speaker to support all people from different religions and cultures. We, the Violet Wolves with do anything to protect our community both human and mobian, and put those political bullies in their place."
"The Violet Wolves?" Alice asked weirded by the sound of that name.
"Oh, that's the name I came up with my group." She smiled proudly.
Alice sweat dropped, 'Is this girl for real?'
"Well. . . Any way. . .I should be heading towards the office to get my class schedule," Alice walked around the girl.
"Wait?!" She called out to her before she left, "What's your name?"
"It's Alice," Alice answered.
"I'm Tori," she said.
"N-nice to meet you Tori, see yah!" Alice walked away.
. . .
Arthur dropped off his sister and gave her a hugged goodbye wishing her best of luck. "Don't worry about what those other kids say to you," he offered her advice. "Just avoid them and pretend they don't exist.
Sophie nodded her head and went off towards her school.
Arthur had been caring for his sister ever since they'd lost their parents. She'd been born a mute so she was unable to speak just like any normal kid. It'd been hard for him, but he knew he needed to be strong and keep his only family safe. The school bell ringed indicating that it was time to start class.
To Be Continued. . .
