In Kakashi's apartment Team 7 were gathered.
"Sooo what is it we are watching." asks Naruto
"I don't know I just found this video tape with a note saying to watch it." Replies Kakashi
"And why did you feel the need to drag us along sensei." asks Sakura, Sasuke humphs in agreement.
"Well I thought since it seems to be a fight, we could watch it together and maybe you can learn something." Explained Kakashi
"Ooooo a fight, who do you reckon they are, legendary ninjas!?" Naruto excitedly exclaimed.
"I don't know, lets find out shall we." Kakashi says before playing the video.
The screen opened to show a black man wearing yellow shorts crouched against a fence.
"What's this isn't a fight?" Naruto says
"Shhh you idiot its probably just getting to it." Sakura tells Naruto
A man, Bruce Buffer started to introduce him the former UFC Middleweight Champion of the world, Anderson 'The Spider' Silva. Which made the crowd go wild.
"Former?" Sasuke asked to no one in particular, seemingly perplexed with the idea.
"Why's is there a crowd, and where are they in a cage?" Sakura asks Kakashi
Kakashi was confused as well, the fight seemed to be for show.
"I'm not sure it seems like they are gonna fight for show." Answers Kakashi
Next to be introduced was the number 6 ranked Middleweight in the world Israel 'The Last Style-bender' Adesanya.
Naruto and Sakura was rooting for Adesanya after seeing him do a flip. While Sasuke and Kakashi were rooting for the more stoic Silva.
With the fight now started they started to see the difference in they way fight compared to the two on the screen.
"Is this just a taijutsu fight?" asks Sasuke.
"It seems like it." Replies Sakura.
Around 2:30 into the first round Silva is pressuring forward and Adesanya catches him coming in with some straight shots and a knee.
"That's got to have hurt." Says Naruto.
"They are fighters of course it will hurt." Replies Sasuke.
Adesanya pressures forward with a nice one two and followers up with a good elbow and strong knee which Silva seems to shake off.
"Adesanya's got this no problem." says Naruto
About 15 seconds later, Silva follows Adesanya when he is exiting for a clinch and hits him with a nice right hand, which Izzy takes well.
"Silva's not out yet." Kakashi tells Naruto
Around 20 seconds later in the center of the octagon Adesanya lands a clean one two.
Silva seems to take it well and start's to have fun with it.
"What's he doing he's losing?" Sasuke says perplexed.
Around 30 seconds later, Adesanya tries to line up a head kick but Silva sees it coming and gets out of the way.
"So close.. he saw it coming quiet early though." Kakashi analyzed.
Right at the end of the round, Adesanya started setting up the head kick again with some body kicks, but Silva sees it coming again. Adesanya then gets into the rock lee stance while Silva stands with his hands on his hips across from him until the end of the round. Adesanya wins round 1.
"Isn't that how Rock Lee stands?" asks Sakura.
"Yes it's probably a coincidence." States Kakashi.
Sasuke was liking the technicual display but he was still confused why Kakashi was told to watch this fight. He had never seen anything like this before, the only people that fight with this type of technique are high level ninjas.
"Have you ever seen anything like this sensei," ask Sakura "there is even rounds how can this be a fight?" She continued.
"No, maybe its from a time past?" Kakashi said still not sure himself.
25 seconds into round 2 started with Adesanya moving forward and Silva countering with a nice check hook. 3:44 into the second Silva walks into range with his hands down being hit with another clean one two.
"Is he an idiot? Put your hands up and stop getting hit" Sasuke says seemingly frustrated with Silva.
With Silva backed up to the cage Adesanya lands a good left hand and Silva sees the head kick coming and gets under it.
They meet in the of the octagon and exchange a shot each, about 10 seconds later Anderson backs Izzy up to the octagon and lands a good double jab one two and follows up with some short strikes. Adesanya gets himself smartly out of danger.
"Silva is getting himself back into the fight." Kakashi says.
"He can try but Adesanya is gonna kick his but." Exclaimes Naruto.
40 seconds later Silva has managed to back Izzy on the cage again landing two clean jabs. They both start fainting trying to make the other react, so they can counter.
"They are both very high level, which makes both hesitate at time." States Kakashi
Sasuke Nods his head in agreement, while Naruto and Sakura are both engrossed in the fight.
The round ends there.
"Round 2 Silva or Adesanya?" asks Sakura
"Adesanya" replies Naruto seemingly convinced.
"Silva." Says both Kakashi and Sasuke with Sakura agreeing.
"WHAT NO, Adesanya obviously won!" Shouted Naruto
"Don't be an idiot, it was close but Silva landed the better shots." Explained Sasuke.
They continued watching.
30 seconds into the third and final round Adesanya lands a beautiful outside calf kick which makes Anderson squat down in pain. For some reason Izzy decides to not follow up.
"What's he doing?" Sasuke says bemused, "you have him hurt, follow up and finish the fight." He continued.
"He's most likely worried that he's being baited and doesn't want to get caught, when he can fight win the fight safely fighting the way he is." Explains Kakashi.
Naruto disagrees thinking that Izzy should of gone for the finish.
A few seconds later Adesanya throws a body kick, Silva catches it and unbalances Izzy who falls down on to his ass, scooting back up to the cage while Silva stalks him trying to time a flying knee, which Izzy smartly gets out the way off.
"So close. If that had landed he would off been out for sure." Said Sakura.
After the knee misses, Adesanya circles around and backs Silva up against the octagon and throws a head kick which Silva blocks.
Silva decides to stand on the side of the octagon baiting Izzy on.
"Hes trying to bait him on to something." says Sasuke.
With 50 seconds left in the fight they are back in the center with Adesanya landing more shots. Silva seems to be having fun smiling with his hands down but his right eye is knowing swollen
"I don't think he cares about winning" says Kakashi. The rest agree
"It looks like they are sparring at times." adds Sasuke.
With 30 seconds left of the fight they start getting real creative throwing spinning kicks and backfists.
"It looks like so much fun people chanting your name as you kick someone's ass." Says Naruto.
At the end of the fight both fighters show respect hugging and talking with each other.
"Who do you lot think won?" Kakashi asked his team.
"Adesanya." They all unanimously agreed.
The scorecards where read out 29-28, 30-27 and 30-27. The winner by unanimous decision Israel Adesanya.
Both fighters kneeled down and bowed to each other, with Adesanya getting emotional at fighting his favorite fighter growing up. You can hear Adesanya telling Silva how big of fan he is .
"Lets go i told you guys Adesanya would win!" Naruto proudly exclaims.
"Correct decision but i feel 2 rounds to 1 is the correct decision." Says Kakashi.
"Did you hear him? Silva must have been fighting for along time if Adesanya grew up watching him." Says Sakura.
"How have we never heard of these people?" asks Sasuke.
"It maybe an alternate world." Answered Kakashi unsure himself.
"Alternate world but how would we have a video of it?" Replies Sasuke seemingly not convinced by the idea.
"Alternate world that makes no sense" adds Naruto, not convinced by the idea as well.
"I'm a 100% but how else would you explain it. If there was an organization that hosted fights with thousands of people watching live, we would of heard of it." Explains Kakashi
"That still doesn't answer how you have a video of it then sensei." Added Sakura.
"I'm not sure Sakura it was just sitting on my kitchen table." Kakashi explains.
"Is that not weird enough, who has access to your apartment?" Sakura asks.
"No one." He replies.
They continued discussing the issue for a while before giving up.
"What did you think of the fight Sasuke?" Asks Kakashi.
"They are skilled, which gives me some nice new skills thanks to my sharigan." Sasuke replied.
Kakashi nodded his head in agreement, doing the same thing during the fight, learning new fighting techniques could always be useful.
Naruto liked the respect that was shown at the end. To beat someone up and be friends afterwards was his thing after all.
Sakura didn't mind the fight but would of much preferred watching a Sasuke fight.
After discussing the fight a little while longer they had missions to do so they left but not before putting the tape somewhere safe to show to their friends later.
