It was a beautiful day in the land of Gondor. The weather was warm, and the days were filled with the usual hustle and bustle of activity, especially for King Elessar. Which was why he relished this rare moment of rest with his good friend, Théoden King of Rohan.
During their talk, Théoden had mentioned that he would have liked to have had time to learn the finer arts, but — living in a land such as Rohan — he never had the time. He was quite surprised, and pleased, when Elessar offered to give him a small lesson in drawing. Théoden was told to choose any subject he wished, with the only stipulation that it should be something simple and familiar. Rohan's King decided that Herugrim, his sword, was surely a simple and familiar enough subject to attempt? That, however, a few minutes later, did not seem to be the case.
Théoden sighed and dropped the pencil he had been holding. The "sword" he had attempted looked more like two sticks crossed over each other than a real weapon.
'That is a fine start,' Elessar said with an encouraging smile. 'Now may I give you a few suggestions…'

Nearly an hour and some patient instruction and correction later Théoden held up his finished drawing and smiled a very self-satisfied smile. This being his first attempt it seemed rather crude, but it was unmistakably a sword.
Théoden King had enjoyed the hour he and King Elessar had spent drawing swords together.
This is just my humorous twist on the movie line "let this be the hour we draw swords together" that Théoden said to Aragorn in The Two Towers film.
I hope you enjoyed!
