Song recommendation- 'Say Yes to Heaven' Lana Del Ray

"He said what?"
"He said I could appoint you to be an angel. You could come back to Heaven and... and everything, like the old times. Only, even nicer."
"Right. And you told him just where he could stick it, then?"
"Not at all."
"Oh, we're better than that, you're better than that, Angel! You don't need them. I certainly don't need them! Look, they asked me back to Hell, I said no. I'm not gonna be joining their team. Neither should you."
"But... Well, obviously you said no to Hell, you're the bad guys. But Heaven... Well, it's the side of truth, of light, of good."
"When Heaven ends life here on Earth, it'll be just as dead as if Hell ended it.
Tell me you said no. Tell me you said no."
"If I'm in charge... I can make a difference."
"Oh. Oh, God. Right, okay. Right. I didn't get a chance to say what I was going to say, I think I'd better say it now Right, okay, yes, so... We've known each other a long time. We've been on this planet for a long time. I mean, you and me. I could always rely on you. You could always rely on me. We're a team, a group. Group of the two of us. And we've spent our existence pretending that we aren't. I mean, the last few years, not really. And I would like to spend... I mean, if Gabriel and Beelzebub can do it, go off together, then we can. Just the two of us. We don't need Heaven, we don't need Hell, they're toxic. We need to get away from them, just be an us. You and me, what do you say?"
"Come with me... to Heaven. I'll run it, you can be my second in command. We can make a difference."
"You can't leave this bookshop."
"Oh, Crowley. Nothing lasts forever."
"No. No, I don't suppose it does. Good luck."
"Good luck? Crowley! Crowley, come back, to Heaven! Work with me! We can be together! Angels... doing good! I... I need you!"
After a brief moment Aziraphale spoke again
"I don't think you understand what I'm offering you."
"I understand. I think I understand a whole lot better than you do."
"Well... then there's nothing more to say."
"Listen. Do you hear that?"
"I don't hear anything."
"That's the point. No nightingales." Crowley contemplates his next move for a brief second before deciding it can't get worse then right now
"You idiot. We could have been... us."
Crowley strides a few short steps and embraces Aziraphale in a desperate yet angry kiss, Aziraphale doesn't kiss back but doesn't push away either. When Crowley pulls back to look at him he regrets what he's done.
"I... I forgive you." Crowley was wrong it could
"Don't bother." Crowley said as he put his glasses on and hastily left the bookshop he'd always felt so welcomed in until now.
--
"You stupid naive Angel!" Crowley shouted as he raced through central London in his Bentley.
Crowley couldn't believe after 6,000 years(the last few on their own just the two of them) that Aziraphale would run back to Heaven. Leave the very existence the carved out for themselves. He even tried to convince Crowley to come with, be an angel again after being casted down for a few questions. Crowley scoffed at the thought
Aziraphale was still trying to wrap his head around the last 20 minutes as he rode the elevator to Heaven...
He was offered an archangel position, was told he could bring Crowley back to Heaven as an angel, Crowley asked him to run away with him like Gabriel and Beelzebub, and the worst of them all was the kiss...
How is he to forget the kiss, the hurt on Crowley's face as he walked out of the bookshop after he was forgiven, and the way Crowley watched him through those glasses as he left... oh those glasses.
He couldn't even begin to try and focus on what the Metatron said right before getting in the elevator.
'Second coming'
All that was running through his head was the felling of Crowley's hands holding him close and his lips on his.
Why couldn't he say just yes to Crowley...
