Act Five
(The story continues with the Cindys and Libbys bursting through the door for Jimmy's lab.)
Cindy: Jimmys! We're in trouble!
Warrior Cindy: We're in big trouble!
(The Jimmys look back at the Cindys and Libbys; the pile of broken inventions is significantly smaller and several of Jimmy's inventions are all around.)
Jimmy and AR Jimmy: (curious) What is it?
Cindy: Well, you remember that time when King Goobot teamed up with some of your enemies to destroy you?! (Jimmy nods; AR Jimmy shakes his head) Turns out we're overlapping with a reality where they won and Goobot took over the planet for the sake of his!
(The Jimmys look at each other.)
Jimmy: Well, that would explain all the Yolkians floating around. (AR Jimmy nods, both Jimmy's look back at the girls)
Libby: Yeah, but what's worse is that that supreme Jimmy just broke into his throne room and took over his mind!
Warrior Cindy: He can control his armies now!
AR Jimmy: Oh-no! (Jimmys look at each other) He must be planning a full-scale invasion or something!
Sheen: (off-screen) Then, it's a good thing we came through with this.
(The Jimmys, Cindys, and Libbys look towards the doorway and see the Carls and Sheens; Sheen is holding the diamond ring from the store. The Jimmys get excited.)
Jimmy: Carls!
AR Jimmy: Sheens! (the Carls and Sheens walk up to Jimmy and him) You got the diamond. Now, all that matters is that we can complete the Quantum Replay now.
Jimmy: (smiles) Right, and once it's ready, we can finally get started with separating our timelines.
(Suddenly, AR Libby screams and points up towards the ceiling.)
Jimmy: What is it-
(A laser blast knocks Jimmy off his feet and slams him into the wall.)
Jimmy: Ahh!
(The ring flies out of Jimmy's hand; Jimmy watches as it gets hit with another laser blast and disintegrates. Jimmy's eyes widen.)
Jimmy: Nooooo!
(Jimmy looks up with everyone and sees a Yolkian scout ship floating high above the lab, with several Yolkian soldiers floating towards the hole in the roof; Jimmy screams.)
AR Jimmy: (gestures towards door) This way!
(Everyone starts running towards the doorway. AR Jimmy stops and looks at the inventions on the floor, including the Brain Drain Helmet and its controller, Hypno Beam, a Shrink Ray-lookalike, and Hypercube. We cut to the lower levels of the lab; the Carls, Sheens, Cindys, and Libbys all follow the Jimmys towards the sewage pipe that runs through the lab; the Jimmys jump into the water flowing through.)
Jimmy: Into the sewage pipe! Quick!
Everyone, but AR Jimmy: Ewww!
(We cut to inside the pipe. The Yolkian soldiers continue to search for everyone. Carl looks outside and gets scared.)
Carl: (whispers) They're everywhere!
(A couple of Yolkian soldiers carry what's left of the NQF-Com; Libby notices.)
Libby: (whispers) Jimmy! They're carrying your quantum computer, or what's left of it anyway.
Sheen: (whispers) Now, what could they want with that?
Warrior Cindy: (whispers, angry) Okay! I've had it! (points at Jimmy) This is all your fault!
Jimmy: (whispers, angry) My fault?!
Warrior Cindy: (whispers, angry) You're the one who wanted to explore alternate realities!
Jimmy: (whispers, angry) Hey! It's not my fault the Chrono Arch got struck by lightning and caused a power surge in the NQF-Com! No one could've predicted something like that would've happened!
Warrior Cindy: (whispers, mad) No, but if you hadn't built the machine in the first place, we wouldn't even be in this mess!
Carl: (whispers, worried) Um, guys, I think we need to keep our voices down!
AR Libby: (whispers) Your Carl's right. What we need to worry about now is how to get rid of these Yolkians.
Warrior Cindy: (whispers) I don't think that's possible. (looks outside pipe) We're seriously outnumbered here.
Sheen: (whispers, looks at AR Sheen, holds out hand) Well, it was nice getting to know you, Sheen.
AR Sheen: (whispers, shakes hand) Likewise, my similarly-dressed counterpart.
AR Jimmy: (whispers) Similarly-dressed? (excited) Wait! That's it! Everyone, switch clothes with your doppleganger!
Everyone else: (whispers) What?!
AR Jimmy: (whispers) Just trust me!
AR Sheen: (whispers, takes off Ultra Lord mask) Okay.
(We transition a few minutes later as we hear AR Jimmy's voice from outside the pipe.)
AR Jimmy: (exaggeratedly) Okay, guys! The coast is clear! We can come out now!
(AR Jimmy, AR Carl, AR Sheen, AR Libby, and Warrior Cindy all walk out of the pipe, now dressed exactly like Jimmy, Carl, Sheen, Libby, and Cindy.)
AR Sheen: Boy, that was a close one, wasn't it?
(Suddenly, several Yolkian soldiers surround them, with their staffs aimed at them. AR Jimmy, AR Carl, AR Sheen, AR Libby, and Warrior Cindy all hold their hands in the air.)
AR Sheen: (frowns) Spoke too soon, didn't I?
Warrior Cindy: (frowns) Yep.
(We cut to a few minutes later as we watch the Yolkian scout ship leave with AR Jimmy, AR Carl, AR Sheen, AR Libby, and Warrior Cindy. As soon as it's gone, Jimmy, Carl, Sheen, Cindy, and Libby all start walking out of the pipe; they're all dressed like AR Jimmy, AR Carl, AR Sheen, AR Libby, and Warrior Cindy, except Cindy isn't wearing war paint or holding Warrior Cindy's staff.)
Sheen: Phew. That was a great idea that other you had, Jimmy: switching outfits with our counterparts.
Carl: (smiles) Yeah. Now we have more time to fix this alternate reality problem.
Jimmy: (frowns) It won't do any good. (looks up at hole in ceiling) When the Yolkians attacked, one of their staffs disintegrated the diamond. (looks at Carl, Sheen, Cindy, and Libby) And without that, I can't power the Quantum Replay. (sits down, looks at floor) It's hopeless.
Cindy: (walks to Jimmy) Neutron, listen to me: you've made contact with alien civilizations, traveled through time, and explored parallel universes. If anyone can stop that supreme Jimmy now, it's you.
Carl: Maybe you just need one of your Brain Blasts.
Sheen: Hey, that's a great idea!
(Carl, Sheen, Cindy, and Libby start crowding Jimmy and pressuring him to try having a Brain Blast; Jimmy stands up and backs away.)
Jimmy: Alright! Alright! Just give me some space! (turns around) Okay, Jimmy. (closes eyes, clenches fists) Think! Thiiiink!
(We cut to inside Jimmy's brain where we see him remember something Sheen said earlier.)
Memory Sheen: "A world without Ultra Lord is a world lost."
(We cut back to Jimmy, who opens his eyes.)
Jimmy: (excited) Brain Blast! (turns to Sheen) Sheen, do you still carry a copy of "Ultra Lord V.S. Robo Fiend Mega Battle" in your pocket?
Sheen: Well, sure I do, but why?
Jimmy: Give it to me! (Sheen hands him the game disc) If I can modify my Neutronic Game Pyramid to extract objects rather than insert them, then, maybe I pull out an Ultra Crystal and use it in place of the diamond.
Sheen: Hey, good thinking, Jimmy.
Cindy: I knew you could do it!
Jimmy: Yeah, but we better hurry.
Sheen: Right.
(We transition to Emperor Goobot's throne room, where he watches as 2 Yolkian soldier hang AR Carl, AR Sheen, AR Jimmy, AR Libby, and Warrior Cindy in cuffs, all in that order; he stares at them blankly. Directly across the room, are a huge computer monitor and the remains of the NQF-Com)
Emperor Goobot: (emotionless) Excellent. Leave us.
Yolkian 1: (bows) As you wish, sire.
(The 2 Yolkian soldiers leave; AR Jimmy looks around the room.)
AR Jimmy: Alright! We know you're in here! Show yourself!
(Suddenly, Supreme Jimmy deactivates his cloaking device and appears out of thin air, right in front of AR Jimmy; AR Jimmy is startled.)
Supreme Jimmy: (in deep voice) I was hoping to capture you alongside your counterparts, but at least Goobot's soldiers captured the me I wanted to see: (pauses) the one who caused all this mess.
AR Jimmy: What do you want with the machine?
Supreme Jimmy: Isn't it obvious?! With my genius, your technology, and the Yolkian army at my fingertips, there'll be no time or place I can't reach and no one who can stop me! I will become king of all reality!
Warrior Cindy: (annoyed) You're insane.
Supreme Jimmy: (in Warrior Cindy's face) No. You're just narrow-minded.
(Supreme Jimmy stands up and floats over towards Emperor Goobot.)
Supreme Jimmy: (to Warrior Cindy) But before I can begin the invasion, I've got to see what I'm dealing with here.
(Supreme Jimmy uses his powers to telekinetically reassemble the NQF-Com. He plugs it into the computer on the wall directly across from AR Jimmy and his friends and presses the power button. Suddenly, images of alternate versions of previous episodes appear. We see a moment in "Beach Party Mummy" where Jimmy is holding Libby's hand, which transitions to a picture of the two of them sharing ice cream with 2 straws at the Candy Bar, while Cindy stares at them through the window, angrily. we also see a moment in "Win, Lose, and Kaboom" where Meldar Prime is preparing to use his super-powered cufflinks against Jimmy, which transitions to a picture of Jimmy in a gold sequined suit wearing the same cufflinks, looking awestruck at his newfound power. Supreme Jimmy looks intrigued by these glimpses of other realities.)
Supreme Jimmy: Fascinating.
(Suddenly, AR Jimmy's watch starts beeping; he quickly pushes the button with the top of his hair. The watch opens up to reveal Jimmy, who's contacting him on his watch, and Goddard. Jimmy opens his mouth to say something, but AR Jimmy shushes him; he angles his watch to show him Supreme Jimmy. Jimmy whispers to Goddard; Goddard pulls up his neck and spells "We need more time. Distract him for us." on the screen underneath. AR Jimmy nods and Jimmy cuts off the connection. AR Jimmy's watch closes and he looks back at Supreme Jimmy.)
AR Jimmy: (pauses, thinks) Excuse me?! Other me?!
Supreme Jimmy: (annoyed, turns around) What?!
AR Jimmy: Magnetize!
(AR Jimmy thrusts his watch in Supreme Jimmy's direction; a beam shoots out of it and hits Supreme Jimmy. Supreme Jimmy is pulled up backwards.)
Supreme Jimmy: Whooooa! (hits head on light fixture, furious) AHHHHHHHH!
(We cut to AR Jimmy, who's used his watch to cut one of the cuffs holding him up and is busy cutting the other. AR Jimmy drops to the floor and picks up one of the cuffs.)
AR Jimmy: Alright! Come on! We don't have much time!
(AR Jimmy throws the cuff at a button on the wall. The cuffs holding AR Carl, AR Sheen, AR Libby, and Warrior Cindy up open and they all drop to the floor. Warrior Cindy pulls out her staff from one of her pockets and strikes a fighting pose; AR Jimmy, AR Carl, AR Sheen, and AR Libby do the same.)
AR Jimmy: Get ready, guys! This may be the fight of our lives!
(Supreme Jimmy demagnetizes himself from the light fixture. He looks at AR Jimmy, AR Carl, AR Sheen, AR Libby, and Warrior Cindy, furious.)
Supreme Jimmy: (furious) You think you're pretty funny, don't you?! Well, prepare to taste my wrath!
(Suddenly, dozens of spikes extend out of the top Supreme Jimmy's helmet. AR Jimmy, AR Carl, AR Sheen, AR Libby, and Warrior Cindy are frightened.)
AR Sheen: What are those?!
AR Carl: I don't know!
(Suddenly, green bolts of electricity come out of 5 of the spikes and hit AR Jimmy, AR Carl, AR Sheen, AR Libby, and Warrior Cindy; all 5 of them are knocked off their feet and hit the wall behind them. They fall to the floor, covered in soot and smoking. The spikes on Supreme Jimmy's helmet retract and he floats closer to AR Jimmy.)
Supreme Jimmy: Did you really think you had a chance at stopping me? (moves closer) I will use your technology to conquer the next reality to the next and the next and the next and the next until they're all mine! An empire composed entirely out of different versions of earth! You can't possibly hope to stop me! What do you say to that, "Jimmy Neutron''?!
AR Jimmy: What do I say?! (stands up) I say you've got 2 things wrong. (holds up finger) First off, as long as there's another version of any one of us, there'll always be a chance at stopping you. And secondly, it's not my technology; it's our counterpart's.
Supreme Jimmy: (shocked, stumbles backwards) What?! Our counterpart?!
(Supreme Jimmy rushes over to the window behind Emperor Goobot's throne; he presses a button on the side of his visor. We cut to inside the visor; it zooms in on Jimmy's lab; Supreme Jimmy sees Jimmy and the others working. We cut back to Supreme Jimmy; he lets go of the button and turns to AR Jimmy.)
Supreme Jimmy: (afraid) But that means...
(2 red lights on Supreme Jimmy's helmet light up as he reads AR Jimmy's mind; he sees memories of the story AR Jimmy told Jimmy move really quickly. We cut back to Supreme Jimmy who clutches his head.)
Supreme Jimmy: (angry, frightened) NOOOOOOOO!
(Supreme Jimmy turns back to the window; the spikes from his helmet extend out again. Purple bolts of electricity come out of all of them and blast the window.)
Supreme Jimmy: (angry) Those stupid Yolkian soldiers captured the wrong version of me!
(The window shatters; the spikes on Supreme Jimmy's helmet retract. Just as he's about to float out, someone slams the Brain Drain Helmet on his head.)
Supreme Jimmy: (starled, confused) What the...
(Supreme Jimmy turns around and sees AR Jimmy standing beside AR Carl, AR Sheen, AR Libby, and Warrior Cindy, holding the Hypercube and the controller to the Brain Drain Helmet. becomes petrified.)
Supreme Jimmy: (petrified) NOOOOOOOO!
(Supreme Jimmy reaches for the Brain Drain Helmet, but before he can reach it, AR Jimmy moves the switch to Ben Stein. Supreme Jimmy screams as his iq is drained; he collapses on the floor. Supreme Jimmy's helmet opens up as he moans, weakened. AR Jimmy breathes heavily.)
AR Jimmy: (to AR Carl, AR Sheen, AR Libby, and Warrior Cindy) Fortunately, me and the other Jimmy had enough time to repair some of our other inventions such as the Brain Drain Helmet and Hypercube.
AR Libby: Is this why you stopped to pick those up back at the lab?
AR Jimmy: (nods) Yep.
AR Sheen: I was wondering why you did that. (raises arms) Now, let's get out of here!
(AR Libby pulls the Brain drain Helmet off of Supreme Jimmy's head and grabs the controller; AR Jimmy, AR Carl, AR Sheen, AR Libby, and Warrior Cindy all turn around to leave.)
AR Jimmy: (stops) Wait! Cindy!
Warrior Cindy: (stops, looks at AR Jimmy) What?
AR Jimmy: (walks up to Warrior Cindy, puts hands on shoulders) Come with me.
Warrior Cindy: (startled, confused) Wait! What?!
AR Jimmy: I-I could change your quantum signature; I could make it so that you can come back with us to our reality.
Warrior Cindy: What?
AR Jimmy: I mean, we're dead in your world and you're dead in ours. It makes sense when you think about it. (puts finger under Warrior Cindy's chin) You don't have to fight anymore. (puts finger down) We can be together fore-
(Warrior Cindy puts her finger on AR Jimmy's lips and shushes him.)
Warrior Cindy: Jimmy, (puts finger down) you and I both know that you're just saying this because you want to use me as a replacement for your Cindy, who's dead.
AR Jimmy: (startled) How did you know-
Warrior Cindy: Your Libby told me.
AR Jimmy: Oh, yeah. That sounds about right.
Warrior Cindy: Look: I would love to run away with you to your reality, which is probably more peaceful, (pauses) but I've got responsibilities at home. Besides, we shouldn't just try to turn other people into replacements for those we loved, especially their doppelgangers. We both (pauses) need to move on. Now, more than ever, I realize that.
AR Jimmy: (looks to side, thinks) You're right. (looks at Warrior Cindy) You're right, Cindy.
Warrior Cindy: (nods) Now, how about we get out of here!
AR Jimmy: Right!
(AR Jimmy and Warrior Cindy catch up with AR Carl, AR Sheen, and AR Libby; they all stop at an air vent. Warrior Cindy pulls out her staff from one of her pockets and prys off the grate. Everyone climbs inside and Warrior Cindy closes it behind them.)
End of Act Five
