I thought this be a fun thing to do. This may be a one shot not really positive yet. But this is 7 years after breaking dawn meaning renesme (I hope I spelled that right) is fully grown. Charlie is finally getting extreme suspicious. So here it goes
Charlie pov
Only a month after my daughters wedding they welcomed a baby girl into the world. They told me she was adopted but we all know that isn't true. Other then the fact that baby looked exactly like the parents, adopting a child is a long process that can take years.
By the time I met the baby she already looked to be six months old, not a few days like she was. By Christmas time only a few months after her birth she appeared to be around seven. All Bella said she'll tell me everything I need to know. Like I don't need to know why my seven year old granddaughter appears to be an adult.
That day I learned that Jacob, the son of my childhood best friend turned into a wolf. All I know is Bella Had to change to get better whatever that means. All I could tell is that she was extremely pale and after a few months she stopped putting the colored lenses. Her eyes turned gold like the rest of that family, there was always something off about that but I never really could place it.
Today is the day I finally am going to confront it.
As I walked up the steps to their front door. Carlisle opened it before I could knock. I walked inside to meet Bella in the living room.
"Hi dad" is what I got as a greeting
She must've seen my face because then soon after she said
"Is everything alright dad"
"No it's not, I have a seven year old granddaughter and she looks twenty"
"We've been through this, I can't tell you"
"Well I need to know for my sanity"
"I don't know what you want me to say"
At that moment Carlisle walked in. Bella looked like she was saved.
"Hello Charlie"
"Why don't you sit down" at that moment Bella left like she didn't want to see my reaction
"What I am going to tell you can't leave this room, and won't be mentioned again. Do you understand"
All I did was nod
"We aren't human, most of us haven't been for a long time"
"What are you then" He smiled after I said that
"Vampires" is all he said
" Am I supposed to believe that"
"Believe what you want but if you repeat anything that comes from this room bad things may happen"
"How about.."
"She's half human, half vampire. Born when Bella was still human" I didn't even have to finish my sentence
"Still human"
"She died during the birth"
"Did she know"
"Since they started dating, she really didn't care"
"Remember don't speak this outside this room" he said as he left and Bella came back
"Are you mad" is what she asked
"How could you not tell me"
"Because there are vampires that will kill anyone who knows about us, that's why you can't repeat this"
"I'm not mad I just have to think this through, I'll see you later Bella"
Then a ran out the door
