Addison ran to check-in and breathed a sigh of relief for getting it, looked at Meredith who was two steps away from her and approached.

"Thank you for the night, it was wonderful," She said smiling in the corner.

"I know, it was good for me too."

"Passengers on Flight 659 bound for Los Angeles, please proceed to door two."

"Call me when you arrive, alright?"

"I'll probably go straight to surgery, but I'll let you know as soon as I leave."

"Okey," she said and kissed her on the lips. "I'll miss you."

"I'll miss you too," Addison said kissing her and heading to the gate that was indicated, Meredith waited for her to disappear from her vision and left the airport.

Addison entered the plane and looked outside, she could get used to waking up every day like the last two, with kisses and caresses exchanged before the two, she sighed knowing that they would spend a few more long days without seeing each other, she was right about back to Seattle, but after what the blonde told her, she wasn't so sure anymore, she sighed and closed her eyes.

"I don't know," She said and looked at her hand. "Yesterday I said that I loved sleeping with her and she said that it seemed like an invitation for us to move in together, but I kind of freaked out and ended up saying that I don't want that, because living together means we're practically married, she said that's fine, but the atmosphere got weird a!er that, mainly because before she said she was going back to Seattle, I think I ended up scaring her with my insecurity and maybe she won't come anymore."

Meredith arrived at the hospital and changed to start another busy day, the emergencies were full a!er a serious accident because of an electrical network that exploded after a car hit a pole.

Hours passed between surgeries and more surgeries, when Meredith realized it was night, she walked around the hospital checking on some patients and soon a!er she sat outside the hospital finally breathing more calmly.

"Can I sit down?"

"Make yourself comfortable," She said looking at Callie, they were silent for a while, until Callie looked at her.

"I heard about you and Addison."

"Christina who told you? Why wouldn't it surprise me, did she order some surgery too or does that only work with Derek?"

"It wasn't Cristina who told me, it was Addison herself."

"And what she said?"

"That she was in love, it was quite a surprise."

"Imagine for me"

"I can be happy for her or..."

"She really likes you, Meredith and living together has a great responsibility, that's obvious, but even having a frustrated marriage like she had, she still thinks about having that with you, you know? It means you are important, marriage is something extremely serious and you have to have it, trust, respect, you have to be really willing to do it, you didn't go wrong in saying those things, taking it easy is what makes everything work, you were just a little flustered especially a!er she told you she was willing to come back."

"She's hating me right now, isn't she?"

"Probably, but she still loves you."

"I hope so," She smiled despondently. "Would you like to have a coffee? We have a long night and I have to deal with the beautiful red-haired beast."

"Let's go."

Naomi looked over at Addison who was lying on the couch completely silent.

"What's wrong?" Addison didn't even hear the question. "Addison?"

"Huh? What?"

"What happened?"

"She doesn't want to live with me," Naomi looked at her confused. "I told her I was going back to Seattle, but I didn't even know if she wanted a life with me,"?She said exasperated. "During the night she said she would love to always sleep with me and that it gave me hope, then I asked if it was a marriage proposal and she just avoided the subject, then said that maybe we could think about it later, I want to sleep and wake up every day next to her even if this decision is hasty, I don't want to buy a house or stay in a hotel, I want to stay with her, even if I'm afraid, I want a life with her," she emphasized the last word.

"I think you're trying to go too fast, you've only been together for a short time, you've had a fight recently and you've made up, besides everything, there's her residence, the distance, I think you're rushing things too much."

"I'm crazy about her, Naomi, completely crazy about Meredith Grey, I shouldn't even be considering that possibility a!er Derek, but I'm thinking about the house, the two kids, the honeymoon trip and so many things , I know everything is recent, but I don't care, you know?"

"Go back to Seattle and wait for things to settle down and you guys see if this is exactly what you want, Archie and I, for one, haven't talked about it yet, we have little time together, things will go as they need to go."

"What if she never wants that? A family? A life with me?"

"If she doesn't want any of this with you, she doesn't deserve you, you are great at what you do, Addison and you are a wonderful person, anyone is very lucky to have you, just be patient, if she wants to live with you, you will live, just don't be afraid or insecure, give her some time," Naomi aid making the redhead pensive.

"And I just know that we will be without a home because of your big mouth, you should cut out your tongue and take care of your own tongue," Alex said irritably. "And you," He said staring at Cristina. "You will never have your friend again back for putting surgery in front of those who have always been with you, stop being jealous idiots, because if you are not, you are doing a great role," he said leaving the table.

"This time I have to agree with Alex, Meredith has already made it clear that she doesn't want you talking about her life, so Izzie, I advise you to start looking for a house," George said and looked at the pager. "I have to go," he said leaving.

"They are very strange being friends," Izzie said staring at them.

"I think so too," She said putting some of the salad in her mouth. "But are they really friends or are they just talking about something? I don't know, from the hospital."

"It's obvious that they became, like, best friends," Cristina continued staring at Meredith and Callie who were laughing at something.

Callie shoved her hands in the pockets of her lab coat as she walked down the hall with Meredith.

"We can go tomorrow after shift," Meredith said looking at her.

"Okay, I'll buy the first round." Meredith smiled.

"Alright then, or we could drink at the house, that way we can have privacy to get drunk without having to drive afterwards."

"Your idea is much better," Callie looked at the pager that rang. "See you later and it's your turn to get the coffee."

"Okay." Callie left and Meredith walked over to the charts.

"You and Callie are good friends," Cristina said approaching, Meredith laughed nasally. Izzie and Alex, along with George stared at Meredith who was talking animatedly with Callie at a table further away from them.

"What's going on?" Cristina asked sitting down and placing the tray on the table.

"The strangest scene in the universe."

"Izzie is jealous that Meredith is having lunch with Callie," Alex said, eating.

"Since when are they friends?" Cristina asked looking at the table where the two were.

"I have no idea, I just know it's weird."

"Yes, we are, now you and Izzie will have one more subject to talk about me, take the opportunity and tell her to take her things and stay there, oh, don't forget to tell Derek too," She said seriously and left.

Meredith walked down the hospital corridor and soon found Bailey.

"Doctor Bailey, I was looking at Marques' medical history and his signs decrease faster than they increase and during the last three hours he has had more than three cardiorespiratory arrests and has been unconscious for almost half an hour."

"Tell me something I don't know, Grey."

"The dosages of the medicines have increased in the last few days and atropine, is causing the stops, that is why so many stops in a short time, that is, he is allergic to atropine, but if he does not take some medicine that has the same effect, they will make it worse. that the stops are even more recent and that it will kill him."

"See what medication we can use, be quick and tell the nurse not to give him any more atropine."

"Okay," she said, leaving.

The hospital shift was twice as bad as expected, several trauma patients were filling the ER, nurses and doctors were running back and forth without a break.

Meredith rushed in with three nurses trying to resuscitate the patient from a heart attack, the chest completely red from internal bleeding.

"I'll intubate," Meredith said when she saw that the patient was suffocating "Tube four."

"Here, doctor," the nurse handing over the tube, Meredith took a deep breath, starting to locate, then intubated the patient.

"Where is the chest x-ray?"

"Here," Meredith held it up to the light.

"Damn, damn," Meredith said while analyzing the x-ray "Call Doctor Bailey, he needs to go to surgery now."

"Right now," another nurse said.

"What was it Grey?" Bailey asked when he entered the room minutes later. Meredith handed the x-ray to Bailey who stared at it with a startled expression.

"For surgery now, tell them we are going to room two."

Meredith analyzed the patient and after filling out the chart, she le! the room, looked at the clock and breathed tiredly.

"Coffee?" Derek asked, handing her the glass.

"Grey, I was looking for you," Callie said looking at her "I need your help with a patient."

"Of course, let's go," She said approaching, the two went down the corridor. "You saved my life."

"Twice, because if a certain redhead finds out that he's chasing you, it won't be good."

"Especially if he grabs me again, she went days without talking to me and still wanted to break up."

Alex approached Meredith and Callie who were sitting there resting after their busy time.

"Who made that spaghetti? It was very good."

"I don't need to tell who did it, but I almost lost my finger helping to do it."

"You know how to hold a scalpel and you can't handle a knife, Meredith," Callie said laughing, Meredith said rolling her eyes.

"Your boyfriend can go there to cook more often."

"Not only cooking, sleeping with me too, but this will probably take a while, because I'm a dick and I fucked up."

"It'll all be over soon," Callie said consolingly. "So I hope."

"Meredith, I have an important question," Alex said staring at her. "I'm not part of the duo with a sore elbow, but I was listening to them talk and talk about your new friendship, I'm going to need to get out of your house ? Because I need a place to stay, then."

"You can breathe a sigh of relief, Alex, you don't have to go out, but the rule is, no women in my house, I don't care who it is, if you want to have sex or go to her house, or to someone else."

"Fine," he said, rolling his eyes.

"And then, are we going to drink even when we leave here?" Callie asked.

"Of course."

"I'm in," Alex said.

Alex along with Callie and Meredith laughed as they talked random things and drank.

"I don't believe this," Callie said laughing when Alex told her about an awkward moment that happened.

"What is she doing here?" Izzie said standing in the doorway of the room.

"As far as I know the house is still mine."

"I live here and I don't want her here."

"And you can't trade me for surgeries like I'm an object," Meredith raised her voice. "Your object, I was your best friend, but apparently the only thing you care about is your career, isn't it? ? So forget you were my friend and just focus on that, now I'm out of my house, I don't even know what you're doing here."

"Meredith..." she tried to argue.

"Leave now!" she shouted and Cristina looked at her without reaction, soon after she left. "Enjoy and follow the same path, Izzie, I want you out of my house."

Izzie went up to her room and a!er a long few minutes she left, silence reigned in the room.

Callie glared at Meredith, they were silent since Izzie and Cristina had left, Alex had le! to find a girl leaving only the two of them at home.

"Are you okey?"

"No," she said and started laughing. "She was my best friend and she le! me for neurology surgeries," she looked at Callie. "She doesn't even like neurology, she prefers cardio, but she didn't even care about it, I I trusted her with my life."

"She dropped the ball badly."

"And what right does that give you to want to rule here, Izobel? None, just as it doesn't give you the right to meddle in my life."

"You can't talk to her like that Meredith, you're being childish."

"What did she give you in exchange for defending her, Cristina? Her surgeries? Probably not? Because you always have to be favored in this."

"You can't keep throwing that in my face."

"I would never do that, Callie and I trusted her, if she had known about Addie from the start, she would have used it to get into surgery or even do a solo, what kind of friend does that? When she was left by Burke I was there for her, when she lost her baby and almost died I was there for her, every time I was there supporting her and keeping her secrets.l

"Hey, stay calm, you and Addie are fine and that's what matters, soon you'll be a wonderful surgeon," Callie said sitting next to her. "You'll be living with Addie and with two children around the house."

"She's still hating me because of what I said, she just won't admit it."

"I'm sure of it," The two looked at each other and laughed.

"I am scared."

"Of what?"

"Living together, getting married, having children."

"What are you most afraid of? All that or losing Addie?" Meredith glared at her.

"From being without that redhead, when she said it was over, I was floored, in an endless fall and then we made such good love there in the living room under warning, lCallie started to laugh, "What a ? Why are you laughing?"

"You are down."

"You're also into Arizona Robbins."

"She's wonderful, isn't she?" The two leaned on the sofa "Too bad she doesn't want me."

"It's a good thing I'm not in that phase anymore, in fact I'm in the worst of all, drunk and thinking about accepting to live with her so she doesn't hate me, I just want her to come back here soon."

"No cell phones, let's just... drink."

"I think there's tequila in the kitchen, I'll go get it, " Meredith said heading to the kitchen, Callie started laughing at the way the blonde was walking, they were completely high because of the drinks.
