"Dad, why do you have to be with her? I don't understand. Claudia caused Michael to serve time in prison and has been horrible to a lot of people! Please, you need to reconsider being her husband!" Molly Lansing begged her father, Claudia and Ric were newlyweds in 2022…Claudia had been imprisoned by her uncle ever since 2009 and had agreed to spend some time in Shadybrooke when she went on trial in 2015. Upon getting out a year later Claudia had learned to deal with her anger in better ways and was trying to better herself. Ric and Elizabeth had started a relationship in 2016 but, ended up cheating on him with Jason Morgan. Claudia and Ric began spending more time together and remembering how they'd felt about the other, after dating for six years they decided to get married at The Courthouse. Molly detested the relationship and wouldn't accept Claudia no matter what she did.

"Molly, everyone has a past. I have a past. At the end of the day we're all human, I'd appreciate if you tried to get along with Claudia. You're my daughter and I love you dearly but, you're an adult. I love Claudia." Ric took a deep breath, trying not to lash out. Claudia walked downstairs getting ready to go to the city for some clothes because her brother was getting married next weekend, both father and daughter stopped talking once she arrived.

"Oh, hey Molly. How are you? I was just on my way out but, Lulu and I are going shopping in the city. Want to come along?" Claudia had even went so far as to strike up a friendship with Lulu, after Johnny got out of prison last year.

"I'd rather poke my eyeballs out." Molly blurted out.

"Fair enough. I'll be back in a few hours, I love you." Claudia directed her latter statement at her husband, placing a light kiss on his face.

"I love you too, have fun with Lulu." Ric warmly smiled at his wife, watching as she walked out of the door.

"You need to accept that Claudia is my wife and isn't going anywhere, I'm ashamed of your behavior." Ric had never seen Molly act out like this, she was twenty two for crying out loud!

"You'll be waiting a long time then."
