Backstory: Alina isn't close with her mother but, she's her father's little princess. Alina doesn't have any siblings, she never wanted to stay in Siberia because she had dreams. Alana never felt like she belonged, she asked her parents if she could participate in the foreign exchange program at her high school. Ivan of course says yes, while her mother has a meltdown. Alina transferred to Sydney, Australia where she lives in the Lovett household. Alina and Ethan officially meet each other and hit it off, as friends. When Alina goes back to Russia she finishes her last two years of school and takes her naturalization test. After passing it, she settles into Malibu Beach where she gets a small modeling gig. When the photos were published, Kate Howard from Crimson Magazine reached out to her wanting to do a shoot. Alina flew to new York and took a couple of photos, Vouge magazine also asked to do a shoot. Alina models mostly for Vouge but, she still does some things for Crimson.
