AN: This is a re-write of my Cullen's read the Twilight saga. This book will be in 3 parts. As I don't have the digital copies of the Twilight saga books, only the physical one, I will be writing it all from scratch on my iPad. Hope you enjoy. I should hopefully have the second chapter out soon.

Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters. They belong to Stephanie Meyer.

Cullen's Read Twilight (Part 1)

Alice was sitting in the living room looking through an online catalogue on her laptop for some new clothes for Bella. She knew how much Bella hated shopping, so this way she could still buy her clothes without making her new sister uncomfortable. Just as she clicked onto another page, she froze. A vision overtaking her immediately.

Jasper was at her side in an instant, hands on her shoulders, waiting for the vision to end.

When she did, she gasped. "Alice, what did you see?" He whispered at a volume only she would be able to hear in a household of vampires, save for Edward who was over at Bella's house, as it was only 6:30 in the morning.

"We need everyone her now," she responded with authority, which was so unlike her.

Everyone in the house heard her. Emmett and Rosalie got dressed; those guys always need to get dressed, cant they ever give it a break? Jasper thought to himself, Esme came in from the garden having tended her flowers; bit early I would think, but at least it keeps her occupied, Jasper thought and smiled, gaining a smile in return from his adopted mother, and finally Carlisle came down the stairs having been in his office catching up on his patient files; no surprise there, Jasper smirked. The obvious two missing were Bella and Edward.

"Is everything ok Alice?" Carlisle questioned.

"No. We need to call Edward. He has to come back now with Bella. I saw four books being left here. They are about us and Bella," Alice stated. "I can't see what is in them though," she seemed panicked. Jasper encircled his arms around her, to protect his mate.

A short conversation with Edward and he was running here with Bella on his back. It had only taken them a matter of minutes, although Bella probably wished they'd taken the truck instead, if her tousled hair and annoyed look was anything to go by, as she raked her fingers through it to make it look more presentable.

One they had arrived, everyone moved to a seat in the living room. Bella on one couch with Edward sitting to her left, Carlisle sitting to her right with Esme on his other side. Rosalie sat on Emmett's lap across from them, with Jasper next to him and Alice on his left.

Alice showed the vision to Edward and he tensed. Before he could say anything there was a knock at the door. Alice got up to answer it and came back seconds later with a box in her hands. "It was just left on the porch. No one was there. They left no trace, not even a smell." That scared them even more. It took a lot to scare a vampire but they didn't understand how someone could mask their own scent to that degree.

Opening the box they found four books labelled Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. On top of the books was a folded piece of paper that had Bella written across it. Alice handed it to her. She tentatively took it from Alice, stared at it for a minute before decided that she best find out whats going on. She unfolded it and read it aloud. She wouldn't keep her new family in the dark.

"Hello Bella, you don't know me but I do know you, and I've seen everything that happens over the course of the next year. I have written everything in these book and I hope they will stop something that will transpire very soon. I know what will happen to you and I do not wish for you to suffer like I've seen you will. Hopefully everyone sees sense and the future I've seen changes. The first book is about events that have already taken place. The other three are about your future and the future of the Cullen family. They are in your point of view Bella, but don't be ashamed. The Cullen's will finally be able to see how you think and feel in regards to them. Please read them only as a family, not on your own. Take care of yourself Bella. Love S.M."

"Who is SM?" Bella asked. Everyone shook their heads. No one who this person was. The silence continued until Carlisle picked up the first book declaring that he would begin, stating that the quicker they got through this one the quicker they could find out why they were sent in the first place.

Carlisle opened the book titled Twilight and began. "Preface"

I'd never given much thought to how I would die - though I'd had reason enough in the last few months - but even if I had, I would not have imagined it like this.

"What a way to start a story Bella,' Emmett laughed. Everyone else was tense.

I stared without breathing across the long room, into the dark eyes of the hunter, and he looked pleasantly back at me.

Edward pulled Bella closer to him. This was either to do with him or James. He was leaning more on the latter, as was his family.

Surely it was a good way to die, in the place of someone else, someone I loved. Noble, even. That ought to count for something.

"Yes it does Bella. You truly are an incredible young woman," Carlisle had paused in his reading to say with a fond smile, but you could still see the sadness in his eyes at what was stated. Bella blushed at his praise and lowered her head.

I knew that if I'd never gone to Forks, I wouldn't be facing death now.

"Why did you come to Forks?" Rosalie questioned. Edward started growling at her.

"I'm sure it will be mentioned in one of the chapters," Bella replied quietly while taking Edwards hand to hopefully calm him down. She knew that Rosalie didn't like her, but she'd only asked her simple question that she hadn't minded in answering.

But, terrified as I was, I couldn't bring myself to regret the decision. When life offers you a dream so far beyond any of your expectations, it's not reasonable to grieve when it comes to an end.

'Very wise," Carlisle praised, making Bella blush once again. Esme smiled in agreement.

The hunter smiled in a friendly way as he sauntered forward to kill me.

"That is the end of the preface, I would happy read the first chapter as well if no one minds," Carlisle stated looking around. No one minded at all. But Bella was terrified, these were her thought being read out loud for everyone. She knew that at least Edward would see that her love for him was real and not some stupid crush as he suspected, but still, it was extremely embarrassing.

Jasper was gauging everyone emotions, mostly everyone seemed scared of what would happen to Bella, even though they all knew as this had already happened. But the prominent emotion coming off Bella was embarrassment. He knew why too. These were her thoughts they were reading. He knew he would have felt the same if they books were about him.

Everyone turned in unison to Carlisle as he turned the page to the first chapter.

AN: I really hope you enjoyed my new beginning of the story. I hope to have the second capter up soon. Thanks for reading.
