Chapter 2: Meeting Moka and Kurumu
As Lucy made her way through the halls of Yokai Academy, she couldn't help but feel a bit lost. There were so many students around her, and it was hard to tell who was who – especially since many of them had non-human features, like tails or horns or wings.
But then, as she turned a corner, Lucy spotted someone who looked familiar. It was a girl with long, pink hair, and her back was turned towards Lucy. Something about the way the girl stood, with her arms crossed and her head held high, made Lucy think that this girl was someone important.
She approached the girl slowly, not sure if she was right about her identity. But as she got closer, the girl turned and looked at her, and Lucy's heart skipped a beat. It was her sister, Moka Akashiya.
"Lucy?" Moka said, her eyes widening in surprise. "What are you doing here?"
Lucy felt a surge of relief at seeing her sister's face. She had been worried about how to fit into this new school, but with Moka by her side, she felt like she could handle anything. "I transferred here," she said. "It's a long story."
Moka smiled warmly and put a hand on Lucy's shoulder. "Well, I'm glad you're here. It'll be nice to have family around." She looked Lucy up and down, taking in her new school uniform. "You look so grown up now, Lucy. I can't believe how much you've changed."
Lucy blushed, feeling suddenly self-conscious. She had always been in her sister's shadow, and she wasn't used to receiving compliments. "Thank you," she said softly.
Just then, another girl appeared behind Moka, a tall, curvaceous succubus with long blue hair and bright green eyes. "Hey Moka, who's your friend?" she asked, her voice sultry and inviting.
Moka turned to the succubus and smiled. "This is my sister, Lucy. She just transferred here."
The succubus looked Lucy up and down, her eyes lingering on Lucy's neck for a moment. Lucy felt a shiver run down her spine, but she couldn't deny the succubus's beauty and charm. "I'm Kurumu Kurono," the succubus said, holding out a hand. "Nice to meet you, Lucy."
Lucy shook Kurumu's hand tentatively, feeling a bit overwhelmed by the succubus's forwardness. But then Kurumu leaned in close, her breath hot on Lucy's ear, and whispered, "You're awfully cute, for a vampire."
Lucy felt her face turn bright red as she took a step back. She was unused to this kind of attention, especially from someone as alluring as Kurumu. "Th-thank you," she stuttered.
Moka looked a bit concerned, sensing that Lucy was uncomfortable. "Kurumu can be a bit forward sometimes," she said with a hint of disapproval.
Kurumu pouted but then turned her charm on again, batting her eyelashes at Lucy. "Don't mind me, hon. I just think you're fascinating. Why don't we all hang out sometime?"
Lucy looked from Kurumu to Moka, unsure what to do. She wasn't used to making friends, especially not with someone like a succubus. But then she remembered her reason for coming to Yokai Academy – to experience new things and learn about different kinds of people.
"Sure," she said finally. "That sounds fun."
Kurumu grinned, her fangs glinting in the light. "Great. I'll see you two around."
As Kurumu sauntered off down the hallway, Moka turned to Lucy and gave her a sympathetic smile. "She can be a bit overwhelming. But she means well."
Lucy nodded, feeling a mix of excitement and trepidation for what was to come. She had never been around such a diverse group of people before, and she wasn't sure how to navigate this new social landscape. But she knew one thing for sure – with Moka and Kurumu by her side, anything was possible.
