Chapter Five: Confessions to Moka

Lucy Akashiya had been feeling strange ever since her fight with Saizo. She had never even known that she had an inner vampire, let alone the power to control it. But what bothered her more than anything else was how her encounter with Saizo led her to question her feelings for Kurumu.

As she walked through the halls of Yokai Academy with her sister Moka, she found herself stealing glances at Kurumu, who was walking a few steps ahead of them. Kurumu was still being attentive and flirty with her, but Lucy couldn't help feeling like there was more to her friend's behavior than just friendship.

Once they were alone, Lucy decided to confide in her sister about how she felt. "Moka, I need to talk to you about something," she said hesitantly.

Moka looked at her curiously. "What is it, Lucy?"

Lucy took a deep breath and spoke carefully. "I've been feeling really confused lately. You know Kurumu has been flirting with me a lot, and I don't know how to feel about it. I...I think I'm starting to see her as more than just a friend."

Moka stopped in her tracks and turned to face Lucy. "You mean you have feelings for Kurumu?" she asked.

Lucy nodded, looking down at her feet as she spoke. "I don't know if it's just because she's been so nice to me, or because I don't know anyone else like her, but I can't help feeling drawn to her. It scares me, Moka. I don't know what to do."

Moka placed a gentle hand on Lucy's shoulder, looking at her with kindness. "It's okay, Lucy. You don't have to be scared. It's perfectly normal to have feelings for someone, especially if they've been good to you," she said soothingly.

Lucy felt a weight lift off her chest hearing Moka's words. "You really think so?" she asked.

Moka smiled. "Of course. Kurumu is a wonderful person, and anyone would be lucky to have her by their side," she said.

Lucy looked at her sister, who was always so wise and understanding. She could always count on Moka to help her make sense of her feelings and give her the best advice. "Thanks, Moka. I guess I just needed to hear that," she said with a small smile.

Moka chuckled. "That's what sisters are for," she replied.

Feeling a little more at ease, Lucy decided to take the next step. She turned to Moka and said, "Would you...think it's a good idea if I tell Kurumu how I feel?"

Moka nodded. "Absolutely. Honesty is always the best policy, and Kurumu deserves to know how you feel," she said.

Lucy took a deep breath, feeling her confidence growing. "Okay, I'll do it. Thanks, Moka."

As they continued their walk, Lucy felt a newfound sense of hope. She may not know what the future held, or how Kurumu would react to her confession, but she knew that she could always count on Moka's love and support. For now, that was enough.
