"I'm so screwed up." He says, suddenly.
"I don't deserve you. You should just leave."
"I can't." She whispers, tears shining in her hazel eyes.
"You have to." He forcefully says, voice cracking.
"Please, just go. Just get out."
"Why?" She asks, quietly.
"How am I supposed to love you when I can't even give a damn about myself? This was never going to work." Johnny Zacchara scoffed shaking his head at the younger woman. Scarlett and Johnny had met through his childhood best friend Enrique Rivera and, Johnny's ex-girlfriend Lulu Spencer. Enrique and Scarlett had been a couple back in the Johnny and Lulu days but, Scarlett and Johnny had been seeing each other for a couple of months. It had caused a rift between Johnny and Lulu being that Scarlett was her best friend from high school, it had caused Lulu to walk out of Johnny's life…and he wasn't handling it well. At all.
"You love her. You'll always love her. Why am I not fucking surprised? It's not like Lulu ever deserved you." Scarlett was pissed, why did he have to love Lulu?
"This-what we're doing? It was never going to work. Deep down, you still love Enrique. We made a huge mistake and now it's time to correct that. If we can.
