"When I felt like I was an old Cardigan, under someone's bed-you put me on and said I was you're favorite." Lulu Spencer softly whispered, tears brimming in her eyes as she fought the urge to tremble her voice.
Lulu was standing in The Penthouse in front of Johnny Zacchara, though she'd given him no indication to why it exactly was that she was doing here. Johnny slowly stood up from his place at the piano, Ethan Lovett glancing from his sister to his best friend, in curiosity.
"I had a dream about you a few nights ago-I've had it before. It shook me to my core-I don't want to lose the man I fell in love with on the side of the road that September night. Please...I'm begging, don't turn cold like Sonny is aching for you too. You touch people's lives, people love you. You're my brothers best friend, Michael and Kristina know that they can come to you with anything because you've been through a lot of the same situations they have. You gave Abby an out from her abusive life by giving her employment and friendship. That night? You saved my life. I'd been ready to end my shit because I was going nowhere and I hated my life. Don't throw you're life away trying to prove shit to Sonny. Please." Lulu begged him, tears spilling down her face-Johnny crossed the room to where she stood on shaking limbs-forcing her eyes shut so he wouldn't see the redness of her sobbing eyes.
"I'm not going anywhere, I promise." Johnny breathed taking her into his arms, and kissing the top of her head.
"You don't know that." Lulu mumbled into his chest.
"No I don't but, I've called off the war with Corinthos. I'm out of the mob, Lu. For good this time. I'm all yours." Johnny held her face in his hands, hoping she would open her eyes.
"Please, look at me. I want to see those beautiful eyes, baby." Johnny begged, as her eyes slightly flutters open.
"You're out? Are-are you sure? You always said that there was no way out! What do you mean?" Lulu was confused.
"I never really tried to get out before, I was still letting Anthony manipulate me before. I'm my own person now and I've made my own life. I finally see the bigger picture-he can have the money, I just want you." Johnny rushes to explain, knowing Lulu was a ticking time bomb.
"How could I say no to you?" Lulu softly chuckled, wrapping her arms around his torso.
