Ben and Ciara had just finished cleaning up after dinner and were getting Bo ready for bed.

Ben got Bo out of the bath and passed; him to Ciara so she could get him dressed.

Ciara put Bo in a fresh diaper and; pj's then passed him to Ben; he took him across the hall to his room, sat in the chair, and read Bo a story.

Ben was so busy reading to Bo he didn't notice; Ciara leaning against the door frame watching him.

Ciara watched as Ben read to Bo and smiled when Ben would make a funny voice that made Bo laugh. Ciara; flashed back to her time with Ben in the cabin and how he took such good care of her.

June 15, 2018

Ciara sat on the bed in the cabin and watched as Ben fixed her broken leg.

"Here," Ben said as he handed her a washcloth.

" What's this for?"

" It's to bite on. I have to set the bone in place before we; set; your leg and it is going...

" To hurt like hell?"

" You ready to do this?"

"Mm-hmm."

"Okay."

" On the count of three, Okay?"

" One, two... three."

Ben set the bone, and Ciara cried out in pain.

" You are; incredibly brave, you know that? You're a rock star."

Ciara was; so lost in thought; she didn't hear Ben calling her name.

Ben looked at Bo and said, " Mommy's thinking about something."

Bo looked at Ben and said, "Mama."

" You want Mama?"

Ben stood up with Bo in his arms and walked towards Ciara Bo touched Ciara's face, and she smiled at him.

" Hi, baby."

" Didn't you hear us calling you?"

" Sorry, I was thinking about something."

" Must have been something good we called you three times."

" It was."

" You can tell me later; right now, little man wants his nighttime cuddle with Mama."

Ciara took Bo from Ben, sat in the chair, and cuddled with Bo. Ben kissed Ciara's forehead, then Bo's, said goodnight to Bo, and left the room.

Ciara cuddled with Bo and then put him in his crib; she ran her fingers through his hair and watched as he drifted off to sleep.

Ciara whispered, "Goodnight, sweetheart," and then; left the room.

Ciara walked into their room and saw when sitting in bed watching tv.

" Hey, babe, Bo asleep?"

" Yep, sound asleep."

" He had a busy day playing at the park and visiting Doug and Julie."

" He did."

" So, what were you thinking about when; you were standing in the doorway?"

" You."

" Me?"

" Yep, I was thinking about our time in the cabin."

" Which time?"

" The first time."

" When you were afraid of me."

" When you set my broken leg."

" What made you think of that?"

" I don't know, I was just watching you with Bo, and I was thinking about if you had never rescued me, we wouldn't have met and fallen in love, and we wouldn't have Bo or this baby," Ciara said as she rubbed her stomach.

" I hate that you got hurt, but I'm also; really grateful because it led me to you."

Ben leaned over and kissed Ciara.

"Mmm, you know what else I remember."

" What?"

" My sponge bath."

" I remember that too; you kicked me in the face."

" I told you I was ticklish."

" I asked if you wanted me to stop."

" I know, but you were being so gentle, and it felt nice to get cleaned up."

" So you did enjoy it?"

" I did."

" What else did you like about our time in the cabin?"

" When you gave me your shirt to wear while you were washing mine, you were such a gentleman looking away while I took my shirt off."

" I didn't want you to feel uncomfortable."

" I had another shirt on underneath."

" Babe, you barely trusted me; I wanted you to feel comfortable."

Ciara leaned over and kissed his cheek, " You are so sweet."

" Can I tell you my favorite cabin moment?"

" Of course."

" When you talked me down when I ran out of meds."

" I knew that I had to do something."

" You still weren't sure about me, and; yet you gave me your hand to hold."

" I had to show you that I was real, that it was just the two of us in the cabin."

" And you did; once I took your hand, I could feel myself starting to calm down."

" I'm glad I was able to calm you down."

" Me too, you're really good at it."

" Do you have any other favorite moments?"

" When you got your memory back."

" I'm so glad you brought me there."

" I was nervous it wouldn't work."

" But it did, and now we have an amazing little boy and another baby on the way."

" Yes, we do," Ben said as he rubbed; her stomach.

" You know what I would love right now?"

" What?"

" Some of your amazing pancakes."

" Pancakes?"

" Talking about being at the cabin made me think of the first time you made me pancakes."

" I remember you hesitated."

Flashback

June 20, 2018

" I hope you like pancakes?"

" Come on, Ciara; they're good; you need to eat."

" Wow, these are really good; where did you learn; how to cook?"

" I taught myself I had to help out my mom when I was; six years old."

" That young?"

" Yeah, like I said, I used to help my mom."

" Ben?"

" Sorry, did you say something?"

" Hey, where did you go?"

" I was thinking about when I made you pancakes at the cabin, and you asked where I learned how to cook."

" And I told you how donuts were the thing in my family."

" Yes, you did."

" We were slowly getting to know each other."

" Yes, we were," Ciara said as she leaned her head on his chest.

Ben saw Ciara yawn and snuggle closer to him.

" Do you still want those pancakes, baby?"

" Actually, I want something else."

" I will get you whatever you want."

" Really."

" Yep, what can I get you?"

" Just this," She said as she kissed him; and straddled his lap.

They broke apart so she could remove his shirt, then continued to kiss; they removed the rest of their clothes and made love.

They cuddled; for a little bit before Ben fell asleep. She watched him and ran her fingers through his hair. The whole time she had a smile on her face thinking about how it was the perfect night reminiscing about cabin stories.

She kissed his cheek and cuddled up with him, and fell asleep.
